Both on the phone and in person, I received amazing customer service from Russel! He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and well-spoken compared to every other competitor I contacted for quotes. Russel is a breath of fresh air in the Baton Rouge area. This Firestone offered the best price for the size, style, and quality of tire I chose, and they had them in stock. I scheduled an appointment that same afternoon. My new tires were mounted, balanced, installed, and an alignment performed in under an hour. I highly recommend Firestone. read more

The manager at this store is a misogynist. On Tuesday, 3/3/2020, when it was brought to his attention that a customer who happens to be a woman didn't care for the way he spoke to her, he responded, and I quote, "Well, when I go in for a manicure, I don't ask how much it costs." Customers should be empowered to ask for a cost breakdown of the services provided to them. It is ridiculous that someone who provides a retail service is so offended by a customer asking for a price that he falls back on outdated and outrageous insults. Women currently account for some 51 percent of licensed drivers in the U.S. Unfortunately, I will be telling every single driver I know, woman and man, to avoid Firestone since they give misogynists free reign on how they speak to their customers. I made an appointment with Firestone for 4:00PM for an oil change and tire rotation, both should take less than an hour. I waited for over an hour and a half before they even pulled my car to the back to begin working on it. It's now 5:45PM and I'm still not done. I'm livid. Do not recommend this place if you're on any kind of schedule. read more

Scheduled a appointment with them Monday to have new tires put on my car for Saturday. I even made sure the tires I needed were in stock. Went in and dropped off my car for 8:30am and the guy asked, did I still need to have it ready by 1pm. I told him that is fine and proceeded about my day. 12:30pm comes so I head over to the firestone on seign and see my car in same spot with no tires changed. Walk in side and the guy who helped me hurried outside to hop in my car to pull it in the garage. I asked him what was the point of him asking did I still need it ready for 1pm if it wasn't going be done? He told me after the fact that they were short at hand due to pandemic and I would of understood that if I got a phone call or notice at drop off that they were. I flashed out and told the guy to give me my keys so I could leave. Go to the fire stone in Cortana. Way better service and and I've got my last two set of tires from them plus signed up for the credit card. Had no issue with them at all and they've always notified me ahead of time if my car wasn't ready. read more

Went there to diagnose a problem ticking and vibrating from my driveshaft after waiting for 30 minutes I was told it was my control arms vibrating my driveshaft which have nothing to do with each other. Told me I also need a oil change , break job and tires So after waiting 30 minutes and paying the fee to have them look at it just for them to not even look at the problem that I brought it in for and it ended up being my driveshaft bushing definitely do not recommend just a place that wants to get the most money out of you even after I still proceeded to let them know once more exactly what I came in for but they still continued to not acknowledge my concern if I could do 0 stars I would . read more

I've been coming here for my tire needs for a few years now and my experiences have varied - so my 3-star rating is based on years of service. My latest experience was very good. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Other times I've dealt with different employeed that were not as helpful and did seem to try to take advantage of people that didn't really have much knowledge about their vehicle/tires. I just happen to like Firestone tires, so this is where I go. I feel like I have a basic enough knowledge of vehicles to know when someone is trying to dupe me... but I would caution anyone that is clueless about cars - they'll probably find something else "detrimentally wrong" with your vehicle and implore you spend more money fixing it. They may even make you feel dumb for doubting them and not getting that air filter that particular day. But I feel like any run-of-the-mill auto shop will do the same thing. My suggestion is, if you have a tire issue, this is a good place to go. But for auto repair needs, find a reliable and trustworthy mom and pop auto repair place elsewhere. read more

My wife and completed the 1600+ mile from Las Vegas to start a new contract in Baton Rouge. Upon starting our 1998 Buick Regal, Los after meeting with the new clients the engine stalled several times and after it got started ran very rough at idle and the rpm was all over the place. Since I always take my cars to Firestone Complete Auto Care stores for all maintenance needs I located this store using the Firestone app (great tool for any traveler) on my iPad and was able to drive my car to it. I was greeted with a big dose of southern hospitality upon walking in the door. I explained the symptoms and the front desk person told me that he would have his lead mechanic look at it since I was from out of town and needed to get the car up and running quickly. I asked if there was any place near by that I could rent a car if the prognosis was not good for the Buick. The front desk person immediately picked up the phone and called the local Hertz location to inquire if they had a car for me to rent. They did not have anything but my wife also called the local Enterprise store (which also was just down the street) and got a car reserved for us. I was impressed with the sales rep not even having to be asked to call Hertz - he just did it as proving service to his customer. The lead mechanic looked at the car and found the problem right quick. It did not take long to fix it and after completing the customary vehicle inspection - did not recommend anything else that needed to be done to the car. Additionally the sales rep did not attempt to up sell any preventative services. All in all - the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The store was clean and well maintained. The garage area was neat and clean. As far as automotive repair garages - it was in the top tier for service and customer experience. read more

I love me some Firestone. I get great service and it is always efficient. The manager and staff are always friendly and focused. It it is my top choice for car care. They have great prices on tires and there is always some sort of sale going on. I always try to get there early, because they can become really busy. However, if they are busy they still try to get to your care in a timely manner. The sales men often try to up sale you on different things that you may need for your vehicle. Great thing is, they are always spot on. They aren't pushing unnecessary car work which makes me happy ultimately. They also have a credit card that offers great benefits like no interest for an extended period of time so that you could pay off your purchase. Overall, I will continue to patron this firestone, as it is my favorite and they know just what to do. read more

This is probably the worse tire store I have been to. I arrive early 0848 to get a tire replaced for my enterprise rental. The previous day I had came in but the clerk told me it would be a long wait due to high volume. So Around 9 the clerk opens the door and I walk i hand him the keys which he says to me that he needs some special tag which NO ONE has ever heard of at enterprise. Terrible place - looking to fleece you at every chance. I would give them "zero" stars if I could! I went in on 2/13/16 to diagnose a leak in the power steering system on my '05 Honda Odyssey. After running a $30 diagnostic test, Mr. Gary (service advisor) suggested replacing the PS pump, PS hose and also the serpentine belt (repair estimate was $868 plus 9% sales tax, or $ 946). While they were at it, they also "found" engine mount problems and were suggesting a new air filter, cabin air filter and front brake pads. The estimate for this portion was $ 639, for a grand total of $1,585. I told them not to repair anything and that I was going to sleep on it - he was disappointed. I did some research on the internet, and decided to get the PS hose changed first since it was leaking. I was then going to wait a few days, see if the leak persisted, and then proceed accordingly. Lo and behold, the leak stopped - total cost of repair $300. I also changed the front brake pads myself ($50 total). They count on you leaving your car there for a diagnosis, then calling you while you're away and giving you the total estimate (without giving all the details), and hoping you'd say "yes." If I could give zero stars I would. I had the most horrible discriminatory experience at the Siegen Lane Baton Rouge, LA location today, 8/31/18. I scheduled an appt online for 3:00pm to get two new tires and an alignment. A gentleman called me this morning to verify the appt and to get the size tires I needed. I showed up 15 minutes early and was told they were behind schedule about an hour or so. After waiting approx 30 minutes, a Caucasian gentleman walked in without an appt in need of 4 new tires. They told him there would be a wait also and he took a seat. A little while later I decided to kill some time and walked next door to grab a bite to eat. I returned about an hour later and my car had not been touched. The Caucasian gentleman and I began to talk about the long wait, etc. I told him I had an appt and my car hadn't even been started. He was stunned and began to tell me how he didn't have an appt and his vehicle was up on the rack at that very moment! I said that didn't seem right to me and he agreed. I told him I was going to address it with the front desk guy when he came back up and the gentleman said, "You should because this is wrong, I didn't even have any appt!" So when the worker came back up and I questioned him he got defensive and tried to say the other customer was getting some other work done, etc. I told him that was a lie and that the man had already told me he was only getting tires with no appt. I then said, "Give me my keys!" And his response was, "I'll be glad to!" I was livid. I have reported this to the complaint center and should hear back from the district manager within 48 hours. I'm not sure I've ever gotten such a great service for anything...maybe they just took pity on my bald tires and frazzled personal appearance, but when I dropped by during the lunch hour, Chris and Chris agreed to get my four tires on and alignment done in 90 minutes. Unfortunately after jacking up my car, the tire size I asked for was not what my car actually required and my tires would need to be obtained from the nearby warehouse. I guess they were afraid to let me back on the road, because they offered me a ride back to work while it was all taken care of. Unfortunately I had to decline since work requires a bit of driving, but planned to come back in the evening. Of course, I was hung up at work when they called to let me know the tires were available and would I be coming back soon? Right after this I got hung up again, and didn't make it back until 6:30. Chris and Chris and someone else I didn't meet in back stayed late to get me back up and running, long past closing time. I can't thank them enough. read more

This was a horrible experience had my car two 12 hour days. All I wanted was a new set of tires, they ordered the wrong size then none of their warehouse it & had it so they had to track down other places put in bad sensors in the tires, Did never set my tire pressure system back so they read the tire pressure automatically they had two tires at 16 and 13 psi when tires need over 30 psi in them! when I left the first day my window wouldn't roll up it make a popping sound they also forgot to put spacers back on after removing rotors and re assembling rims, any other problems they told me I would have to take it to the dealership after spending over $1000 and two days waiting on them, they acted nice in the beginning but in the end we're useless unprofessional and have inexperienced people working for them. They got very pushy after receiving my business, this is the first bad review I've ever written but I was very patient but still felt like I was treated unfairly they did not finish the tire job and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
