Made an apt for a multi point inspection for a Mini Cooper 2009 S. An APPOINTMENT. Was told it would take about an hour. After an hour and a half of waiting I finally got up to ask myself about what's going on and check on the progress for them to tell me it hadn't even been started yet and it would've best to reschedule or leave it over night. This is not something we could do because it was a car being sold, and would leave someone without a car. We made an apt and they told us it would be done. And now they are trying to say they are short staffed. They should have gave a better wait time or not over booked themselves. Now we can't purchase this car until Monday because of Firestone because the guy selling us the car doesn't have time until then. Will never go here again and will tell everyone I know not to go here. read more

It's surprising to me the other negative reviews on this location, but for me, the service writer has always been knowledgeable and pleasant, and the car was ready when promised with no hassles or problems. Called this morning to get my company car serviced for a leaky tire and wipers. They said they could get me in same day which was great. They also said it would take about an hour. However, after and hour and fifteen minutes they hadn't even started on my car. I wonder how long I would have been sitting if I hadn't spoken up. I ordered tires at Tire Rack, as the only time I haven't I really was truly disappointed in the tires I had, and shipped them to this Firestone location. Full disclosure, I had AWFUL experiences with Firestone when I lived in FL, and I had vowed NEVER to go back. But this was my option. Initially my tires shipped and were supposed to arrive on 10.31, however I wanted to make the appointment for as soon as possible so I called on 10/29 to make an appointment. The guy I spoke to was SO rude and told me "yeah well you're tires aren't here and to tell you the truth good luck getting them anytime soon. I have a guy here who I'm just calling to schedule and he's been waiting 6 weeks." Understandably so, I was kind of irritated that he was so rude. And told me to call back after the tired were delivered. So 11/3 they were delivered and I received notice from the carrier and Tire Rack. I called 11/4 and got Francis on the phone this time. I felt like I had called a totally different place. He was so nice and patient and went out and found my tires and got my appointment scheduled. I wasn't happy that I had to wait until 11/17 to get an appointment but Francis told me they had a tire event so they were booked up. Clearly not anything that I could do about that. But had the rude guy actually done his job I likely would have gotten in sooner. So I showed up today at around 9:50 in the hopes that I could get out by 11:30 since I had a dentist appointment at noon. Don was at the desk when I got there and he was a super friendly guy who got me checked in and when I asked how long it would be he said 1 hour to an hour and a half for most vehicles. He also told me it would be $59.92 upon completion. Tire Rack gives an estimate online when you buy and it was $82 so the fact that it was $22 less was a good surprise! So I figured I was good for 90 minutes and settled into the lobby for the wait. At just before 11, Don told me they were finishing up and I will checking out by 11:02. I was pleasantly surprised at this super pain free customer service friendly my experience was. Since they did such a good job I'll be back next week to get an alignment and I'll grab myself an alignment package! read more

The one auto repair service that really does give you a veterans discount. Lots of auto shops say they do then always have an excuse not to give it. The pricing is by far the best in the city. I have never paid more than their quote somes times even less. My only negative thing would be their estimated amount of time. But I would definitely recommend them for service. Came in with a flat tire and was visibly upset because I was worried about not getting to work. I dont remember the mama name who helped me know my tire sizes and educated me on low profile tires/wheels but he was so kind and calm. He got some air in the tire to get me home. He looked at the other tires and assured me they were good but recommended to replace front tires asap. While the service was short. They were very helpful and kind. They could see how upset I was and were trying to help me the best they could. Even recommended places to call for my tires since they didn't carry them. THANK YOU!!!! read more

Scheduled an appointment to come in to have my tires replaced in the morning. Spoke to the receptionist at the front desk when we dropped off the car. She assured me she would call me before the end of the day to let me know it was ready. I told her I needed to go to the airport the next morning early and one tire was rapidly losing air. "No problem, we'll have it fixed by the end of day." She said. I asked her what time was end of day. She said they closed at six. No call. I started calling at 4:30 repeatedly. No one answered the phone. At 5:20 we went to the auto care. It was closed, but she was still inside. We finally got her to come to the door at which time she barked "We are closed." Then some realization came over her face and she just stared. We had ask if the car was ready. "No"she said. Had anything been done to the car "no" she said. Still looking blankly. "Where you planning on calling us?" "I was getting around to it." she said. "So you had no plans to call us before your business was closed?" we asked. "Oh, I forgot" she said. This business treats it's customers with rudeness and unresponsiveness. I do not recommend doing business with them. In the end, if this is how their office works, I'd rather not trust them with the safety of my tires. After our incident I read the rest of the reviews. One person said their lug nuts were loose after they were serviced there. All and all probably should have read the other reviews first, and saved myself a day of annoyingly poor service. read more

3 hours of my life spent at an oil change that included breaks after the fact. Now I'm no efficiency expert but I think I would do my full inspection prior to starting any services, you know evaluate the whole job. I would not go out to a customer after the oil change get her hopes up by saying that you've completed the service then converse waiting until she's come to collect her keys to ask if she has time for breaks? Initially was a pleasant experience, replaced two tires and moved on with my life. After a few weeks I needed to replace my shocks and I decided to do the project myself. While attempting to loosen the nuts on the tire I realized THEY HAD USED AN AIR GUN ON MY LUG NUTS!! This over torqued the lug nots and stripped the key I have on my wheels. I'm going back today to see if they're willing to fix the issue they had caused!! And if it's going to cost me money!! My appointment was for 11 am on Saturday dec14.my car sat for 45 minutes in the parking lot meanwhile they pulled 2 cars out of the shop and pulled one in.whats the point of making an appointment if its going to be an hour past the time before they even start??? I went in and the guy , Nikita, just said ok do you want to reschedule to which i said why? So i can stand around waiting another 45 minutes or more? He was standing talking to people who looked like they should have been out working on cars. Mine specifically. I will mark this Firestone off my list deserves zero stars but no option. Adam and Israel are AWESOME!! As soon as I walked in Israel got straight to business! I mentioned my tire pressure light came on he figured out which tire that was and found the problem ASAP! Took my truck in for alignment on a friday after getting new control arms, they had it for hours and I was told they couldn't get it aligned after messing with it for 4 hours. Went to pick it up and was told I needed to take it to a 4x4 shop because the two inch lift was throwing it off. I immediately took it to a 4x4 shop and they told me that doesn't matter and they could do it on Monday. By the time I got home the ball joints on the new control arms where shredded and the control arm hardware was all loose. They denied ever touching it and stole a $200 battery jump box out of my center console. All in all, this shop cost me about $800 and didn't do anything but make my steering pull to the right VERY aggressively. If it was possible to leave a negative star review I would. read more

I wouldn't go here or to any Firestone. The lady at the front has poor customer service and I've had multiple bad experiences. Recently I had an appointment yesterday to get my winter tires (on wheels), swapped out for my all season tires (also on wheels) but was told that the all-season tires were 5-6 years old so they couldn't even put them and I needed to buy a new set from them. I instead went to Les Schwab and they put the tires on no problem, and even said the tires were in great condition. On top of this I purchased a set of winter tires from Firestone in 2023 but just figured out I was sold a 2020 set of tires meaning NEXT YEAR in 2025 they won't even put on the tires I purchased for $800. Feels like scummy business practice every time and I won't come again. read more

I went in because they were running a special on oil changes. At $80 a pop for synthetic, you look for deals ... well no more. I was told after the inspection that my back tires had less than 1/32nd of an inch of tread and they recommended getting tires before I left. They knew from a previous discussion I was a Les Schwab customer, here for just the oil change and I said no. I drove up to Les Schwab which was about a mile away directly after that. The service specialist pulled my records and we went out to look at the tires. He could have agreed with Firestone and sold me tires when I didn't need them too but instead took the moral high road. He said you know what? You have 3000 - 5000 miles left on these tires. You don't need tires at this time. He asked me to come in at 3000 to double check but the warranty for the tire concurred with having 5000 miles left on them. So.... this is the crap that makes us all so distrusting of each other in general and especially in the automotive repair world where we are typically at their mercy. Shame on you Firestone. PS Even though there was a sign on the door stating all customers must wear masks, a middle-aged white male came in without a mask on and no one said anything to him. I and the other customer had masks on and were socially distanced. The manager, actually, dropped his mask off one ear and so his mouth was no covered either when talking about the service he was requesting. They have good tires. The techs are good. Most of the staff is reliable. It takes a long time to get stuff done, but it's cause they are always slammed. It's best if you drop off your car, cuz waiting even with an appointment takes 3-5 hours. read more

We have always purchased lifetime alignment warranties upon buying a vehicle - they are very cost-effective when reliably available. Over the past year, however, we have arrived at the Beaverton Firestone location multiple times and been unable to get service because their technicians have chosen not to come to work. I've just arrived home from such an appointment and will soon look for other Firestone outlets and, perhaps, sources of auto service. Years ago I brought in a Toyota Tercel that needed brakes. The technician told me that he took the wheels off and he would refuse to put the wheels back on unless I paid for the service repair. They wanted to charge me $500 for brakes and rotors. And I said are you joking it's just brakes. Anyways I threatened them with lawsuits and bad publicity if they didn't put back on my wheels so I can have it looked at somewhere else. I ended up changing the brakes myself for a fraction of the cost. And the rotors were just fine. If you want to get ripped off go here it's the perfect place. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. We've taken our Jetta here a few times. First, I gave them the tire key, which they lost. Second, they said they would do a free diagnostic on why our coolant was leaking. 2 hours later, I get a call saying they can tell it's leaking on the left side of the radiator, but they can't tell if it's the actual radiator or the o ring, and they need to take the radiator out to figure it out, WHICH IS EFFING $484!!! Um, guys, that's not a free diagnostic, so don't lie to me. Moral of this story is don't take your car here. They'll lie and try to swindle you. read more

I would give no stars if I could. I bought tires from them about a year ago and I get a free rotation and balance so I took it in. My ABS light was on and sometimes I get a vibration on my breaks. Idk if it's due to my oversized tires but want to make sure I'm safe. They "looked" at the tires and refused to work on my truck and told me to go to the dealership. I looked at my truck tires and looked at the Bridgestone sign and was appalled that a tire company refused to look at my tires. If you want good service go to Les Schwab. I am not sure if I will ever go back to this location again. I had a regular maintenance here in December. I also had them swap the tires to the winter tires. A day and half later when my husband drove my car he noticed unusual noises and found the lag nuts were loose. Two front ones were actually so loose that you could turn by hand. I don't know much about the cars so it would have been bad if I had taken it on highway or something without knowing what is going on. When I called the location, a manager who took a call was very nice and told me that he would take care of it immediately but when I took it back a worker who dealt with it had some kind of attitude no apology or anything and made me feel like I am bothering him. I had a bad experience. The staff seems overworked and their work estimates are way off on the time for completion. I dropped my car off with a 2-3 hour pickup time quoted for a nail in the tire and an oil change. I came back a couple hours later and the estimate changed to 6pm, which would have been 7 hours from the drop off time. The staff was more than happy to return my keys and cancel the quote without a second word, which would lead me to believe they are underpaid or understaffed. I've had great experiences at other Firestone locations, with accurate pick up times. Maybe just a store issue. read more

I purchased tires from Tire Rack, had the delivered to the Beaverton Firestone; I spoke with the store manager Dan Crooke, and after we talked about the cost of installation, I was about to hand him my keys and said 'I would really appreciate it if you would please be careful with the wheels, they're not curbed, no damage or scratches'; he interrupted me, put his hand up and said 'your wheels WILL get damaged or scratched, that's just the way it is'; we talked back and forth and I said 'So you're telling me there is no way to install tires without damaging my wheels and he replied 'that's right; if you're that concerned with not getting your wheels scratched or damaged then I can't help you'. I asked him to explain why exactly and he said'I don't know why you can't understand' at which point I told him 'You're being argumentative and confrontational, neither of which I appreciate'. It ended with me having him tell me he would have his boss call me on Monday. The entire interraction was bad - Dan was condescending, confrontational and extremely dismissive regarding my asking him to please be careful with my car. First genuinely bad experience I have had with a tire installer. Not recommended. read more
