I just want to say how incredibly rude the managers are in this store... I should of done research beforehand and see how bad the reviews are for this place. Dan who was some type of manager was just being rude and disrespectful to my wife. The lack of ethics this man has is bare to none. He tried to empower and force my wife to take on additional service that our car did not need. He ignored my wife and continue to do his own ways. This guy was completely racist to my wife also and kept attending all his white customers over my wife when she got there first... this isn't tolerated here bud... this is the last time I will ever support this.. corporate will hear from me read more

Yesterday I had a very poor experience at Firestone Complete Auto Care, 13025 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton, OR 97005-2004. The shop is located 36 miles and 50 minutes (in light traffic) from my home. So, I set an appointment and arrived early. Because this is a second set of tires/wheels for my wife's SUV I delivered the wheels to the shop in a trailer and picked them up the same way. As soon as I got home I realized something was wrong. Unloading the first wheel from the trailer the weights fell out. The white tape to hold them in place was gray with dust not cleaned from the rim. So I called the shop and got Larry. Described the situation to Larry and he quickly acknowledged the situation was unacceptable and put Dan on the phone. Dan's response was completely different. "If something is wrong" and "we'll have to see what could possibly have gone wrong" and "but the tires are spun after the weights are installed so the couldn't be loose". Dan probably didn't do well in high school where he should have learned about centrifugal force that would have held the weights in place. Anyway, I asked about corrective action and compensation and his only answer was another round trip to his shop and nothing more than fix their error. As a minimum that's another 72 miles and 1:40 wasted time for their mistake. At this point I inspected the remaining weights. They literally fell from a second wheel but were firmly in place on a third. The fourth was oddest - three weights flapping freely attached by nothing but tape to two more that were firmly in place. So, instead of the long drive I headed to a local shop - Les Schwab - and had the situation remedied, getting me home with correctly balanced wheels in about 90 minutes. Once I had dropped the tires at Les Schwab I again called Dan and advised him of the number of incorrectly installed weights and that I'd send him the bill from Les Schwab so he could cover that. He said that they only conduct such transactions in person and that I'd have to go back to his shop. The only reason I ever went to that shop is that they're on the recommended list for installation of the tires I purchased at Tire Rack so I could have the tires delivered there. Anyway, the quality of the shop's workmanship is very poor and their customer service - expressing disbelief in customers - is atrocious. Since this is what I do for a living in the high-tech field I'm fully aware that doubting the customer's statement is exactly wrong. Much better to say something like - let's look at this thing together and figure out how to fix it - or whatever. read more

The only reason I came here was because they had my hard to find tires that no other shop could get at a reasonable price. That is why I gave them two not one stars. Other then that....shoot myself now. They WILL take 4 to 8 hours to get your car done. You will spend half to a full day waiting in their dirty, nine seat waiting area. Who has to get a rental car for the day if they want a new set of tires??? Firestone customers. Seriously it's a joke. Oh, and I'm not even touching on the ridiculously bad customer service. I'm really upset about this places!!! I when in with a flat tired and he found a small nail after that when I saw the nail was straight! He came telling me the tire was damage bad so I need I new one... I was like for that small nail I need to get a new one? I walk away and when to DISCOUNT TIRE in Tualatin and they told me the tire can be fixable and the best part was FREE. Really bad experiences with this guy bill! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DON'T KNOW CARS THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND. I came here for an alignment that is all. They put the car up on the lift and shook the wheel and noticed it had a little play. Instead of looking to see where the play was coming from they gave me a list of parts that I "needed" and the price for replacement this came out to over $800. To give you an idea for the price gauging that was used they quoted me a price for a tie rod that i "needed" at $127. The tie rod only cost $38 new. How do i know this? Because i already bought a brand new one that was already installed on the car 2 weeks ago. So i took the car home and put it on jacks shook the tire to see the play. Within 20 minutes i found out that the tie rod retaining bolt was loose. Tightened it up the presto no more play. I didn't even have to take the wheels off to fix this tiny problem and it cost me nothing. If i haven't already replaced these parts before i went there they would have use my ignorance about the situation to rob me of $800+ of my hard earned money. If you read all of this and still deiced to go there and they want to sell you parts to "fix" a problem then at least make them show you what needs to be fixed and why. more chances then not they will not be able too. read more

I went here twice. First to get my Jeep inspected right after I bought it. They did a once over and said they could only find an oil leak, everything else looked great. $550 later it was fixed. Sure no biggie. Second time a few weeks later we had a tire leaking air. Was going to be $30 to repair. Got it on the lift, They said there was a nail in the inside of the tire and it was on the shoulder and not repairable, I would need 4 new tires. Right......I went to discount tire, they said it was VERY repairable and did it for FREE. and it was on the outside of the tire as well, not the inside. The wait time is horrible as well. Both times took over 20 minutes waiting when there were only two of us in there. They take calls over in store customers, NO CLUE WHY!! Never going back. read more

This was my first time back in about 10 years (first experience was that bad). But I needed a new tire on a Sunday and there weren't many choices. They didn't have my tire in stock, but told me that they would have it the following day. They did call me the following day to tell me that it would be Wednesday or Thursday and that they would call me to let me know - no apology. I called late on Wednesday - still didn't have it and didn't know when they would - maybe the next day. I called again late on Thursday, again they said that they didn't have it. After complaining, they actually looked and found that indeed they had it! I had also left instructions that I want the damaged tire returned. They had made a note on my order. When I went in, they had thrown out the tire and had to retrieve it from the dumpster. It'll be at least another 10 years before I try them again. read more

Update: So I come out of work about a week after getting my car back from Firestone, try to start it, and the same issue. My car won't start, there's just one click, and lights/radio/etc work. From the beginning (prior to the battery being installed) I've said it was the starter. Firestone said over, and over it wasn't, and stated their diagnostic said the starter was fine. I have my car towed 19 miles in rush hour back to Firestone. This time they say it is the starter. In a week I'm out over $500. To replace the starter they charged $362. I do not recommend this place due to the fact that I'm now just waiting to find out and something else is wrong with my car. I don't trust them. So, I leave the grocery store, come out, and my car won't start. Ugh. It was 5:30 pm on a Sunday. I had it towed to Firestone. I received a call from them, and after hearing what happened they said they'd do a diagnostic the next morning for $24.99. Early the next morning they called, were extremely friendly, and said the battery died. Diagnostic, labor, and new battery cost $168. They were amazingly nice, and my car was ready to go at noon. No upselling, no bullshit, just nice guys. I was impressed and I'd definitely go back if something ever happened to my poor car again. read more

I'm not going to lie the other reviews for this firestone definitely did have me a little worried when my boyfriend told me to take the car in for a new set of tires. First we looked online for the best price for a new set of tires. We online shopped a little bit and got a price quote from firestone that was pretty good. I think it was buy three tires get one free, and a discount for an oil change. My tires were bald, and since the weather is changing I knew we needed to get some new tires. The online price quote said we could get that price for up to 30 days. I asked my boyfriend to call in because I have heard some crazy stories about dealerships and mechanics doing all kinds of work that wasn't needed. My boyfriend scheduled a day and time, and told the guy exactly what we wanted and the price we got from online. I showed up for the scheduled appointment and they had me sign a form saying what we agreed on and I handed over the keys. They said it would be about an hour, and after I agreed to a free alignment check they said it would be a few more minutes. I went and hung out at the Black Bear Diner, I would recommend hanging out there because they have a little bar, and its homey and a good place to hang out while your getting your car taken care of. An hour later I returned to the Firestone and they showed me the results of the alignment check. The guy explained it all to me, what was wrong with the alignment, how much it would cost, and what they were going to do. The guy offered me a lifetime alignment or a single alignment. There was no pressure, and I just got the single alignment. About twenty minutes later everything was set. All in all it was under $450 for four new tires an alignment, and an oil change. It's been over a week and the car runs 100% better and I'm not worried about hydro-planing every time it sprinkles. This was kind of a long story, but I guess the point is to make sure you have a strong sounding man make the appointment and agree to what kind of services are needed. Make sure you discuss all the terms of the agreement before you sign, and let them know you don't want anything else. Get a quote online, it will be cheaper, and help you know exactly what you are getting and how much certain services cost. After everything is done, check your car and make sure everything looks legit. Even though others had bad experiences here, it is possible to have a good experience here, but I feel like you just have to take your chances when getting work done on your car no matter what. I just went to get my car checked due to an engine light, and I got a called from a manager, I believed his name is Dan and said my car needed all the sensor of the E-vap replaced which was gonna cost a lot of MONEY!! So I took it to get a second opinion from another auto shop and said i needed to fix only one sensor. And showed me with a scanner. I am FURIOUS by the dishonesty of the managers of that establishment. I'm never going to a chained company corporation. Whoever reads this please get a second opinion from an outside auto shop before you get scammed. read more

Plugged a leaky tire for me. Said it was like new. Next week losing air. No Biggie, Bought two new tires, scheduled an oil change because I'm new in town and thought I'd found a decent place. They said they couldn't/wouldn't install tires because it's impossible because of my factory wheels. I said my old shell station did it, everyone does it, just use the plastic tools like any decent mechanic. It takes a few extra minutes...nope sorry won't do it. Thanks... Drove away frustrated and realized...duh, they removed my tire LAST WEEK to plug it!!! Or they didn't and that's why it's leaking..lied/lazy/dangerously/negligent? Hate to say it but logically all three... Either way grow some balls and tell me to my face you are too lazy/don't feel like doing it right, then I'd be fine. I bought a set of Bridgestones from this shop last year, fabulous tires! However; this past week I got a nail in one of them, I was stranded with a flat out on Highway 26 near the coast. I had a can if "fix-a-flat" in the trunk which managed to seal the leak, and add enough air pressure to the tire for me to limp to the next service station and add more air. When I got to the Beaverton Firestone location to have the hole patched (as per the instructions on the can) they told me that the fix-a-flat meant that my tire was now ruined, and that I'd have to buy another (at nearly $200). That wasn't an option so I left and called another shop (Americas tire in Hillsboro in case anyone is wondering). They said that the tire was fixable, and that the only reason Firestone said it wasn't is because the "fix-a-flat" makes a mess that's not fun for the shop to clean out. They were more than willing to do it though, and free of charge. Tire is now holding air like new, with warranty still intact. I don't recommend this shop at all, if they are too lazy to fix a tire like mine, what else are they going to cut corners on. Telling me my tire was ruined when it absolutely wasn't is very dishonest, I won't be going back to Firestone again. read more

Finally need to get new tires for my car. We priced several locations and Firestone came to be the best price for a good warranty on the tire. They did a good job and were honest about the alignment. We thought it needed one but surprised to see it didn't..and he even checked it twice to be sure! They even gave me a better discount! So why not 5 stars? The guy was slow and really should pick up the pace in putting on the tires. Waiting 2 hrs to get the tires on etc was a bit too long. read more

I had tires put on here that I bought from tirebuyer.com. Staff was friendly and had no delay so far seems like they did a quality job. Truck drives straight no wobble or shaking felt. They didn't try to up sell me or sell me additional services which was plus. Lobby has cable tv, wifi and coffee. read more

I purchased my tires from Firestone a year ago, and today I discovered a nail in my tire. I rushed to firestone with my spare tire on, and they informed me that they would try their best to get my flat repaired today. I explained that I'm driving down to Eugene tomorrow, and I have meetings starting at 8am on Monday, and would need my car for those (as they are closed the next day for Easter) and he said they would try their best. Two hours later we called for an update (with 3 hours left until they close) and they informed us that they wouldn't have time today for the 10-15 minute flat repair. My husband explained that the flat needs to be repaired today, and 10-15 minutes of work is all it needs. DJ informed my husband that "you don't run the show here, we do". We immediately called discount tire, who close an hour earlier than Firestone, and they said that of coarse they would get our flat repaired today, at no charge. We will be contacting Firestone's corporate office on Monday regarding this issue and inconvenience. Update: When we arrived at the store to pick up the vehicle, Dan informed us that they would be repairing the flat today. read more

Went here 2 months ago for new tires for my car. Didn't have an appointment and they got me in fairly quickly. Offered alignment check but had another appointment and had to leave. Manager was accommodating and explained everything. I was there 1hr & 15 minutes. Fast forward 2 months. We are taking a long road trip and wanted to get our tires rotated and balanced (no charge since we bought them there). Stopped in thinking this could be done rather quickly and was told it would be 60-90 minutes before they could get to it, REALLY! There were several bays open and saw 3 guys doing NOTHING! Did not plan for that much time and left. Called today to see if there was time, the phone rang for at least 20 times before hanging up. Waited 5 minutes, called back and it was busy for 10 minutes. Finally got through and was told the same story, explained my story and experience and he was flippant and said to make an appointment,REALLY, just to rotate INSTALLED tires? Told them forget it, I would go somewhere else. When buying the tires I was treated great and felt like a first class customer but now that they have my money feel like a second class customer, they don't give a rip. This place is where we get our tires, auto repair and everything about auto needs. This morning I went to the shop and told JD that the tire they sold us a couple of months ago has been leaking. I asked him if it can be fixed. He said well I can schedule you for next week, I said it needs to be done today because I have a long distance driving tomorrow. Then he suggested that I should leave my car all day then when they have the time in between repairing other cars they can fix mine. Then he asked me of what I want to do. I said I have no one to give me a ride home and he suggested that I should call an uber. I said I'll go somewhere else. I went to Les Schwab and Paul took care of me with his friendly attitude and happy face. Sorry Firestone Beaverton, you just lost a long time and loyal customer. Went here to get an oil change and my air conditioner fixed. Everyone was very professional and informative. After getting my air conditioner valve fixed, he informed me the part that was applied would work but wasn't satisfied it would last long term. He said he would order another valve and replace it free of charge. I appreciated their honesty. I took it in today and got it replaced in an hour, free of charge like stated! I also come here since I have the lifetime rotation, so far in my two experiences here I have had no issues. Also on a side note I heard them talking to another customer who had some questions, I saw that they went out of their way to explain things in detail and the customer seemed really appreciative of the extra time they took to help them explain that seemed like excellent customer service to me read more

When I had to have my car towed after it ran super hot and all the coolant drained out, I decided to have it towed to Firestone in Beaverton, one of two places nearest to me at the time. I paid to have a cooling system evaluation done to figure out exactly what the issue was and although they couldn't tell me 100% what the issue was after doing the diagnostic, they were confident that after changing the thermostat and doing a coolant flush (neither had been done in a while, if at all) they would know if it might be something more serious. Turns out the thermostat was the issue and they even ran the car for a while to ensure it wouldn't get hot again. The technician who dropped off the part, decided to to replace it there on the spot even thought it was close to closing so I could have picked up by car the same night, within a few hours period! I had a meeting that night so wasn't able to pick it up but was so happy to hear the news that not only was it just the thermostat (and they didn't try to upcharge me a bunch of stuff) but they also had it done so much quicker than I thought it would be done. They also did an oil change for me since I was almost due. I was really pleased with my experience there, especially since it was kind of an emergency situation. It's also super convenient since it's right off the Blue MAX line if you need to leave your car overnight. Another happy customer! read more

I'm really wondering why this place is ranked 2.5 stars. Firestone in my opinion is the most honest place I have been to. I was screwed over by a mechanic I had before and Firestone came to the rescue. I had a complete check up done on my car. There were many things that needed repairs of course, being that I have an older car. They were fast and surprisingly they were not at all pushy (like many mechanics I have been to). I have been coming here ever since that first experience with them. I recently had a tune up done and I have not had any problems since. I am happy with the work they do and I will continue to come here and I have recommended Firestone to friends and coworkers. I am not sure about the low rating they have here. Dan and his team have been nothing but friendly, professional, and helpful during each of my visits. I used to be a customer of the location on W Burnside, but after a bad experience, I gave this location a shot. After two initial great experiences (tires an oil/filter change) I was sold. Always get my oil changed here, as well as new tires for myself and family. Good prices and great service. My only tip would be to try to make an appointment on the weekends. Brought my car in for an alignment and tire rotation. They had a great deal going on for the lifetime tire alignment so I did that. Dan had a great attitude since I dropped off my car at 7am until I picked it up past 5pm, that's some great customer service especially after a long day at work! I've been using this firestone for about 5 years now and have had good experiences. Only downside is that they are generally busy, but that's a good sign that they offer a valuable service. Previously I had been going to Les Schwab, but I switched because I got a better price on tires at firestone. And I absolutely love the Firehawk Wide Oval tires they put on my Acura RSX. I've also bought Interstate batteries from firestone and have had good luck with them. read more

After hearing good things from the Subaru community I tried them out. Had them Dismount/Mount/Balance a set of tires I had. Not only was at less than I was quoted over the phone, but it was $100 cheaper than Les Schwab. The Tire Tech did a great job with the tires, even put the weights on the inside to make the install look cleaner. He also helped with the loading/unloading which was nice, especially since he interrupted his lunch to help. One bad thing..The front desk guys were SLOW. Only two of them and about 5 customers, but my tires were done in less than 20 minutes, however I waited about an hour. I had the time (Was my day off) so I was in no hurry. The tire tech who was helpful before apologized to me a couple times. Would go back, but not for regular service. Only for tire needs, alignments, etc. Other stuff is best left for your mechanic. read more

Sadly, I purchased 2 lifetime alignments for my 2 vehicles 5 years ago, and 2 sets of tires from these guys, and I regret it every time I need work done. The phone rings and rings and rings, then I'm placed on hold for another 5-10 minutes, and that's IF they come back to the phone. But today takes the cake: I went in for an alignment last Friday and they told me after an hour that I had too much weight in the rear end to do the alignment.... ok, I offer to take some of it out, and they tell me to come back. The also tell me it's time to replace the front left ball joint soon. They schedule me for Tuesday for the alignment, and I come back. After another hour, they tell me that they STILL can't do the alignment because of the ball joint.... Why would you schedule me for an alignment you can't do without other work? It's time to replace the tires on my 05 lexus, and my 99 durango... but you won't be getting that business. I'm stuck with the 2 lifetime alignments... I'll still use that because it costs you time and effort and not me. You won't be getting another cent from me. read more

DJ and Dan are both amazing and I always feel comfortable taking our vehicles there. They have a 22 year veteran mechanic that can fix ANYTHING! Firestone is a Huge lie! They call it "Complete auto care" it's HUGE Lie!!! They don't do alot of the simple things and major things. They told me to go to my dealership or another shop for simple Parasatic power draw test and for other things as well in the past. In addition to that for simple inspection they charged me $184 dollars. They don't charge for full package inspection but they charge for each simple inspection individually. Yes, they are nothing but Thief! Honda dealership charges $159 for full inspection and that money goes towards any installation. I'm not a fan of them either', but at least their deal is better than what Firestone is doing. I don't know if they have a new management or not but I've never paid so much for inspection with them before. It wasn't even full car inspection either. They are pocketing people's money. I don't recommend them at all to anyone as people are likely to be ripped off without knowing that they are being ripped off. They need to be reported to Better Business Bureau. read more

Tigard location was full and couldn't get us in for an alignment until after 10am. I called the Beaverton location and spoke to Dan, he let me know he could get my alignment done ASAP. Took me 15 minutes to get from Tigard to Beaverton, less than 5 minutes to pay and check in, after that they took my truck in right away. Dan is OUTSTANDING. I was the victim of a hit & run on the same day that both of my tires on the driver side got nails stuck in them. The tires were less than 2 months old, and were rendered irreparable. He special ordered the tires for me and had me back up and running in the matter of less than 24 hours. 11/10 will always buy Firestone's tire insurance. Dirty dirty dirty! F@$%!ng wash your hands! Not only they were an hour late, but the inside of my car was a filthy! Door panels greasy, steering wheel greasy, basically anything the mechanic touched, were dirty. If you can get past the grease, and like waiting an extra 1/2-1 hour, then you're fine. They told me, my car would be done at 3, went in at 3:15, and my car just went in! read more
