Horrendous. Engine code thrown within 24 hours of service. No issues of any kind for years. Took it back in. They claimed they weren't responsible but offered to "fix" it for ~$400. Didn't offer any kind of discount, refund for oil change or anything. Have to take car to real mechanic to pay to get it fixed now. Never taking my car here again. GO ELSEWHERE! I just went here for oil change on 4/1/25 and as part of their service to check and refill all fluids. I did asked them to check all fluids which is part of their service and I know my BMW already flashes the low coolant fluid warning. Before I left I double checked and ask about fluids and leaks and they said all fluids are fine even stated on the receipt. Well I went home and do the check myself and it was almost empty. So I just went to Napa and buy the fluid and refill myself. Their lies could cost me serious engine problems. Worst service and lied to the customers. I would give them a zero if I can. No business integrity at all. I would say double their works or go find some where else. The tech doesnt even know how to reset the BMW oil service time/mileage. read more

I came here several months ago for an oil change/tire rotation. They kept trying to upsell me on numerous unnecessary services after saying I only wanted an oil change and rotation. (I've been to other Jiffy Lubes and never experienced this). Another customer that came in after me walked out after all the ridiculous upsells they tried to do after only trying to get an oil change. They ended up refusing to rotate my tires due to not enough tire tread left, my tread was well above the 2/32" wear line on all tires. After they topped off my coolant they said my coolant fluid cap needed to be replaced. Oops? the onsite manager said it would cost $20 to replace. When I looked at the invoice they charged me $30. Ridiculous considering I can go to any parts shop and get it for less than $10. I'm not ever going here again and recommend you do the same. read more

i would go zero. I went in for an oil change - guess i thought it would be easy. Always prepared to say no to every upsell they try, but this time they went too far. First they told me my rear brakes were failing - in the red ($700).! They told me i needed new tires ($1,600). They told me i needed to flush brake fluid ($90). Nearly $2,400 that they were trying to push on me. I just want an oil change. okay...eyes rolling. Well they messed up even the oil change - over filled it giving me a warning light. Then it happened i had a screw in one of my tires. Went to Les Schwab where i purchased my tires. They fixed, checked the brakes and tires and guess what - all is fine. What Jiffy Lube did was not only fraud, but equal to being crooks and thieves - NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. I wish I could give a zero star review. This shop needs to be avoided. First, they overcharged me, charging me for TWO oil filters instead of one (this is literally on the receipt, so this was hardly an oversight). But even worse, my car has a center core inside the oil filter which they DISCARDED so now it won't hold oil pressure properly at idle and I had to take it to a mechanic to have the part replaced that the "experts" at Jiffy Lube THREW AWAY. The staff is super friendly but I'm a bit irritated I was charged $20 for emissions which is fair but they give you in instructions AFTER and then it says you can only renew online up to 75 days they clearly Saw my tags were more expired than that and it says the emissions cert is only valid for online. I've had problems with this location in the past, but this time around was a really great experience! Devon, the manager, helped me out a ton - he was not pushy about doing any other maintenance in any way, and spent some time explaining to me what the filters do. I held off on the air filter replacement but I chose to replace my coolant and coolant pressure cap, a reverse light, and license plate light. He also gave me a good deal on the lights. I had a $25 off coupon so the overall cost was really affordable for the amount of work I had done, and they still cleaned my floors and windows. I don't know how to describe this place as anything but a scam. They claimed I had a burned out headlight, and tried to convince me to pay them $25 to replace it but when I drove away I discovered that both of my headlights are fine. They also tried to get me to pay $65 for an engine flush which I refused mainly due to time constraints. When I drove away my 'change oil' light came on and I realized they hadn't actually changed my oil, just topped it off! I'm assuming if I'd paid the extra $65 they'd have actually pulled the drain cap and reset the engine code but instead they charged me $85 for 3 quarts of oil and left the old oil in my pan. I've had pretty good experiences at other Jiffy Lube locations and I'm so aghast at this I'm actually looking at how to contact their corporate offices. Considering how many people are out of work right now I can't even imagine trying to push $400 worth of upsell work that they may not even bother to do. I would like to give this location zero stars due to the nature of professionalism, which they seem to lack. We recently moved away from Oregon and my wife took her car into this location to get it serviced before the move. After moving away from the area, my wife took her car to get it serviced in our new state. The technician came to my wife saying she needed to look at something under her car. When she looked, someone had written on her oil pan in silver marker. Normally I would just chalk it up to being a part # or something of the sort, but it was not. Now as a husband, I'm quite upset with this! I guess we as customers must now look under the car to see what foul things the technician wrote on your car. Remember to double check your car. If I could give this Jiffy Lube location negative stars, I would. A simple oil change became anything but. One of the attendants left the coolant top off post service. By the time I got home, my car was smoking as the antifreeze sloshed all over the engine. Fine - I took the car back to JL immediately. They claimed to have refilled the coolant. No apology for the screw up or inconvenience. Clearly they were not successful filling the coolant reservoir as my engine light came on the next day, indicating a dangerously high coolant temperature. Again, back to JL and they filled it yet again. I took it to my mechanic to ensure my car had no systemic issues. They had to bleed the air from the system, add more fluid and wash the overflow of coolant from the engine. This Jiffy Lube is sloppy, unaccountable and unapologetic for their incompetence and rude. I've been to this location before and have not had issues with my old car, a 2000 Honda Accord. I came in this time with my new car, a 2018 Subaru crosstrek to get an oil change and tire rotation and was in and out in about 20 minutes which is probably the fastest I have ever been in and out of a jiffy lube. However, this was actually more expensive than going to the dealership for servicing. I paid around $90 for rotation and full synthetic oil change with tax at the dealership and was charged around $125 for the same service at this location. I used a coupon and still ended up paying more. They also did the bit about trying to sell me on servicing of new parts, which was surprising because I just got the car 6,000 miles ago where the dealership serviced everything! I can get past those things but what really got me was black grease finger marks all over the inside and outside of my car. It's around the hood of my car, on my visor (which is tan), on my door handle, on my ceiling inside my car (also tan) which will not come out no matter how much I scrub, on my car door, on my gear shifter, and on my steering wheel and these are just the spots I have found! I am deeply upset that I may never be able to get the black marks off my ceiling. This is my first new car purchase and it's upsetting to see damage to it especially when I paid over $100 for this "service". If you care about your car just take your money to the servicing center at your dealership. Not only is it cheaper, it gives you the piece of mind. I'm not coming back to jiffy lube. read more

I needed an AC recharge, but after an hour of them diagnosing the car it turned out I needed a new AC compressor. I got quoted $1,200 to get the job done. They then spent forever trying to find a compressor part, but supposedly were having a hard time finding one. After that, I got quoted $3,000 just for the part. I asked why the part was so expensive, and if my car needed a special kind of compressor and the lady working there got really sassy with me saying "it's just an AC compressor." I said no to the service, and she immediately turned around and walked away. I called another mechanic recommended to me, and he was quickly able to find a compressor and quoted me $1,400 for parts & labor. Jiffy Lube is lying and ripping people off. read more

My husband and I went to Jiffy Lube today to have a brake fluid exchange. We called beforehand, explained our situation, and the woman we spoke to said to go ahead and come on over and that there would be no issues. That they could do a brake fluid exchange, no problem. We arrived at 2:00 and were told that it would be a 1-hour wait. We agreed to wait because they had told us that they could do the work for us. The car in front of us sat in the bay, with the wheels off, and the parts sitting next to it for a full hour and a half with no work whatsoever being done to it. None of the employees even looked at it. None of them really seemed to be doing anything, but eating pizza, feeding a squirrel, sitting on their phones, and chatting with each other. My husband went to use the bathroom in Jiffy Lube and asked all of the customers waiting inside how long they had been waiting... Everyone said between an hour and a half to three hours, with no sign of their cars being done anytime soon. At 3:45, a worker came up to let us know that it would be an additional 45 minutes until they could service our vehicle and we agreed to continue to wait. During the entire almost 2-hour experience we had to listen to all of the employees trash-talking the customers about how "shitty" their cars were and non-stop swearing. A full hour and half of this! Constant berating of customers, bad-mouthing them, and their vehicles. Finally, a worker comes to us to let us know that the "mechanic" Ken would like to talk to us. Without even looking at our vehicle, he told us that the job that they told us would be $98.00 (brake fluid exchange) would now be a several-hour job. We had replaced our master cylinder and just needed it to be bled fully for air bubbles. He immediately told us that we did everything wrong and that he would have to re-do it entirely. We learned specifically how to do the master cylinder the correct way from several different trusted mechanics. It seemed that Ken was just so full of himself and his "skills" that he was nasty to every single person that he encountered. Of all of the awful employees at this location, Ken takes the cake. He yelled at my husband and I during our entire exchange, belittled us, and told us that because of the work we had done on our van that now he would have to charge us extra. He told us that it would be a several-hour job and when they looked in their system, it was only a 45-minute job. While they wrote us up an estimate, we went back to our van to discuss what to do. During this time we heard Ken yelling to the employee writing up our estimate to "charge them for 7 hours!" There is in no way that the job we needed done would be 7 hours... It was abundantly clear that Ken just did not want our business or for Jiffy Lube to have our business. An employee came back to us to let us know that the job would now be $198.00. Under normal circumstances, if the mechanic was nice, reasonable, or even just civil, we would have agreed to have the work done. We told the employee that we did not trust Ken to touch our car and that we would be going somewhere else. It seemed that Ken was doing literally everything that he could to persuade customers to leave the location and to not do business there. Every single customer that was there during our 2 hours waiting was treated horribly and had to wait an absurd amout of time for simple jobs. Save your money and your sanity... Go with a trusted and experienced mechanic! Avoid this particular Jiffy Lube. We ended up taking our van to Les Schwab and they did the job with no issues at all. read more

On top of that I had asked the guy about my fogged up headlights to see if he had recommendations for fixing. He did and helped me out. They looked brand new after! I was so happy! They come back with a total of $104!?!? Then they give me a "discount" and say it's $88! I requested that they not use a gun or torque stick to put my lug nuts back on. I wanted a torque wrench only. The lube tech is obviously lazy and stubborn because they said it's against the policy to not use a gun. As a former master verified technician, this is not only totally incorrect but against every manufacturer recommendation and any proffesional training. So basically either jiffy lube trains there techs poorly or they just hire incompetent lazy people. Either way I would say take it to a more respectable establishment. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went here thinking it would be cheaper than my Subaru Dealership. It is not even close. It's a scam. I came for my oil change and they asked if I wanted my tires rotated. I said yes because they were due for it. I have NEVER paid to have my tires rotated. Never at my dealership or anywhere I have had my car serviced. They charged me $25 to have my tires rotated and never informed me of the cost beforehand. Then they said I needed coolant and declined. They did it anyway and I rushed out saying Subaru needs a special coolant so please stop. They assured me it was universal, but I know Subaru's take special coolant. Service quality is as expected if you've been to other jiffy lube's. But customer service has been consistently bad over consecutive visits. It's expected to wait outside of an empty bay, and have several employees look at you, but not help for 10-15 minutes. Went to this location after seeing the Oregon DEQ line stretch almost a half mile long. This is a DEQ2 location. They charge an extra 20 for the express service but you can get it all done there: register the car and emissions test. I had my toddler sons with me and didn't expect to have to get them out of the car, but getting out of the car was required to complete the registration on their system. One of the Jiffy Lube employees, Chris W, was super helpful in corralling my boys while I completed the necessary docs. Definitely went above and beyond. Jiffy lube could improve by using tablets for registration so that customers won't need to exit their vehicles. read more

I'm joined by outlaws, oilmen, ladies of the evening, and a number of snake oil salesmen as I make my way downstairs to try my hand at blackjack...with my left hand always on my holster... No ...I'm at a jiffy lube in lake Oswego OR.. Yes snake oil salesmen...or maybe aluminum siding salespeople? Or the not so successful copier sales person...this is the kind of person I'm reminded of when I start with a $35 dollar oil change....get hit for a $90 dollar visit and know if I wasn't careful I would have spent $150.00 in 30 minutes. You can tell these "front men" thru corporate formulaic sales training...and there faux friendliness , over exuberence and yes and no m'am is about as sincere as the great wizard of oz....before he met Dorothy. Don't get me wrong...the mechanics do a nice job, are thorugh and timely....I just don't want to be up sold 4-5 times every visit and ...each up sell one by one...it's a ploy to catch you off guard and a bit of a scare tactic.. I am so so so ANNOYED. Went in for an oil change and to have the rock chip in my windshield replaced. The guy told me after scanning my car that after an upgrade my car could only take FULL SYNTHETIC oil. I have NEVER heard this. So I said no I want the conventional oil change. He said they couldn't do it then. So I said fine I'll just do it. Which is 85 freaking dollars. Finally got a hold of my step dad, it was a lie. So now I'm low on money, but the employee of course acted like my engine will blow up or whatever if I didn't get the full synthetic. The chip looks like they smudged over it with a finger, receipt says they checked everything and cleaned the outer windows/windshield that was CLEARLY NOT done. okay so I stopped in to get an oil change.... it is what you are supposed to do to keep the car running well right??? well that is what I thought..... then I go in for the oil change... they convince me that I need to have my engine flushed...ummm okay.... I did. about 2 weeks later there is a banging in my car. They say not their problem go away.... so I went to my mechanic.... yea when they flushed it out they did not add enough oil to get into the lifters... so my mechanic did. and advised that unless you have a new car and doing the flush thing regularly it can actually hurt the car.... and that is what happened. ugh... they almost ruined my engine from their incompetence. Luckily my mechanic fixed it for free... just needed some oil added somewhere so it would go to the lifters.... I will find another place........ to do my future oil changes. thank you. read more

I came here specifically, because of my fellow Yelper's reviews and completely wish that I had their experiences, but it was far from Good. I arrived at 1:25pm on a Thursday, which you'd totally think would be a great time, b/c it's after lunch for most people and should be less busy... WRONG. All the bays were full, but the car that I pulled behind was about done. About 15 min passed and I finally pulled in the open bay. As I was waiting, another truck pulled up and one of the technicians yelled out, "Break truck is here, pull them into bay 3"... Uh, Wait a minute... I'm in bay 3!?! So instead of getting my basic oil change done, one of the technicians come up to me and said, "Sorry, but we're going to move you to another bay". So I pull out and around behind another car... Unfortunately, the other car that I was told to pull behind seemed to be getting everything (and I mean everything) done to it. for about 10 min it seemed that every technician (6 or 7 of them) were working on that one car with the 2 ladies sitting in it. After about 15 more minutes another car left and they had me move to the new open bay. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. The Positives: I was greeted professionally and courteously as soon as I arrived. The Negatives: - 1 hour 20 min later and I was out of there. - I was moved twice. - The location of this Jiffy Lube is horrible to get out of during busy times of the day, due to being on the corner of Canyon Blvd and Hwy 217. - It just really seemed disorganized.
