Wife brought her car in for brakes few weeks back. The tech that did the job did it very well. What was disappointing was their business practices. First, they charged $10 to inspect the brakes. Very reasonable. But they don't credit that money to the job what I've never experienced. Then they charged $21.99 for a vehicle inspection which I never ordered or requested. I have no idea if or what they inspected. On top of that they don't give you the receipt, it's emailed so I didn't have a chance to look it over at the store. I did question the total price and that's when I was told about the $10 not being credited. I chalked the rest of the difference up to fees and taxes. When we got home wife printed the receipt and that's when we noticed the extra charge. So over them billing us that extra $22 + $10 they lost about $1000 of business as my car and my wife's both need tires in the near future plus repeat business on repairs. I'll go to a place that's more upfront. read more

I'm the type who typically has all his ducks in a row before going to shop for any automotive matters related. I recently lowered my vehicle with a performance coilover system so naturally I had to get an alignment. Knowing that not all shops will be able to accommodate getting a lowered vehicle on an alignment rack, I called this particular store to check. They assured me they had the proper provisions for getting a lowered vehicle on the rack. I told him my car make/model and what I had done with it - it was confirmed they can do it. I asked if I can show the tech where the adjustment points are because now my alignment can be fully adjustable - yes that is fine. So appointment set! I'm a happy camper. After lunch, I take some personal time during working hours to get to this Firestone and was turned away because they "didn't want to risk damaging my car..." And ".. Even factory versions of [my car] scrape getting up on the rack.." What the hell was the point in being diligent and calling ahead of time and having all my concerns met?? The store manager had an employee give me the bad news and scurried off into the work bay area. As I walked outside I called to the store manager so I can ask him what happened. He didn't care when I expressed my disappointment and was not in the slightest bit apologetic. Terrible store... I hope corporate and/or franchise owner takes a good look at the managing staff. read more

I am very grateful for this place and the amazing guys that work it. It saved me quite a hefty repair bill that was advised by pep boys and turned out to be completely unnecessary and would have cost me hundreds of bucks without really needing it done just yet. They also discovered a major error done by the previous repair shop i had my tires changed at. I would call that Integrity and Respect on the part of these Awesome men. This place deserves zero stars and should be shut down immediately. They are running a full scam game on women. I went in for a simple oil change and it ended up costing me $400 because they soaked the entire engine bay of my car with oil.. I had to replace the oil switch sensor and serpentine belt on top of the hours of cleaning my car and my driveway. They would have let me fully blow my engine had my husband not brought it back in and demand an answer. The only reason they fixed it is because they knew he knew. I went back twice to ask them to clean it up and they let me sit there for 3 hours while they did nothing. LADIES DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU KNOW ABOUT CARS AND CAN FOLLOW UP. They are friendly but very busy. I had to go 3 times to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Wait time is 1.5 to 2 hour wait.

DO NOT GO HERE. They WILL take advantage of you. Went in for new brake pads, new tires, and something else. The total came out to $1,200. First they couldn't order the tires I wanted for some reason so I had to get the most expensive ones. When I got into my car the brakes were still squeaking they stated "the brakes take a while to adjust so they will still squeak for a few days." And another thing, my AC is all of a sudden not working. I went to another mechanic and he said my old brake pads were still on AND they bent my brake line just enough so over time it would destroy. COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL AND INHUMANE. So, I called them and threatening I would write this review if they didn't fix it. They put the new brake pads on and stated the guy "forgot to plug back in my AC." WTF?! And now I'm currently at advanced auto parts because they drained my battery here's a big FUCK YOU to Firestone and everyone working there. read more

I never leave reviews positive or negative. But I feel like I must leave a review because of how horrible this place is. First and foremost their time management is absolutely horrible. Regardless of making an appointment things will delayed or left for the very end and even forgotten about. I left my car there at 8am, I was told it would be ready by 12, when I got there at 11 they told me it would be another 2 hours. The worker who answered the phone was very courteous, kind and professional. I was a little discouraged after making an appointment knowing that my time would still be 1 to 2 hours but they were good at keeping me updated on the status as I waited near the area. what made my experience even more then I expected was a worker by the name of Luis taking the time to find me before I left the lot to let me know that he needed to refund something they charged me because they should not have. It was for a flat repair I had two nails in one of my tires but apparently neither of them pierced all the way through. There was supposedly a note left for the cashier that was missed, no matter, I was pleasantly surprised that he took the time to make it right. The other workers around were friendly, except for one. He was not rude but he was not amiable either. Overall, a great experience. And you can plan for the wait. Highly recommend. My initial visit was only for an oil change. I will definitely come back for my maintenance needs. It seemed like this would be a good fit for me because of Kelly who took my initial call, courteous and respectful but that all changed when I arrived. I wanted specific work done to my car and signed all the waivers and disclaimers protecting Firestone from any liability because I needed my AC system vacuumed to have a warrantied part from a different vendor removed. I understood their need to let me know that this wouldn't fix or resolve my issue which I agreed. However in handling the matter the manger was ever condescending and demeaning in his attitude and even made a point to speak derogatorily about me when the work was complete. I felt unwelcome and having paid for a full service to just have the refrigerant removed legally and ethically..This is sad because I'm sure the other employees at this shop at true professionals and did the job as described but to have the whole experience brought down by the one should be setting the example. I used to bring my car there for tires and I noticed every 4-6 months something is wrong with my tires. 2x I had to replace them. I purchased battery from them too and 6 months later it needed to be replaced. I believe they put substandard parts in cars. I love the Firestone brand but am not a fan of this branch any longer. Every time I get tires done here it's about a three hour ordeal. I always buy the warranty and came in because I had a tire go flat and was told it was going to be several hours before they will be able to get my flat repaired. If the store really is that busy, they should consider possibly hiring more technicians. It should not take hours upon hours to get this stuff done. Looks like I'll give another Firestone branch a try. I've spent several thousands on getting tires for all of my vehicles over the years thinking that somehow that would garner me some measure of better service when I came in but it's apparent that loyalty and repeat customers are not a priority. I have been using this store for 20 years. They have been there for me for a wide range of services, even when I bring in some Goodyears to match tires on a car I purchased. I just brought in some mags to be installed with existing tires. They came with the TPMS installed. When Mike found out that they weren't properly programmed, he apologized and offered to program them for me, when it wasn't even the fault of Firestone. Went in for oil change and tire rotation. All was going well until I was about to leave. Naturally, they failed to rotate the tires properly so I asked them to do it as they were supposed to. Of course, the "mechanic" insisted he did do it properly when of course he did not. Pisses me off!!! Prior to service, I marked the tires to check their work so I had proof! Bait and switch!!!!!! From my online quote to the call made concerning appointment. Searched online for the tire I wanted found it at the price I wanted to pay, when I was called to confirm my appointment the call back was unprofessional, calling me "dude" and "man" I would have been OK with that, but then just lies about how I had gotten a quote for the wrong size tire and when I said no here is the correct size that I ordered, "oh we don't have that size and no one else does either dude that's not the right size for your vehicle" which by the way is the size stamped on the door panel on my vehicle. Come to find out they only do it if you REMIND them of their own sales pitch. For years, I thought they were doing me right. Then I purchased windshield wipers. I didn't try them out right away. should have. Next rain storm I tried them and realized they never changed them. When I called, I was told "wow, and you were charged for the most expense wipers they carry". Went if for an oil change and to find the slow leak in a tire. Had an appointment. Tread was measured and we were considering new tires as 2 of them were getting close to needing replacement. Asked for quotes on 3 different sets of tires. Got a call 2 hours later that they were unable to find the leak and was given a quote on the set of Firestone's they tried to sell me at the counter. We declined the tires and battery. Arrived the next day to pick up the car and it showed a tire rotation. My wife hadn't had the car washed a the brake dust coating the wheels was still completely intact. The measurements from the night before showed they obviously didn't rotate the tires. They said they used a dunk tank to look for the leak. The brake dust being undisturbed showed they obviously lied about that as well. When my wife was there to make the appointment they were polite. When I showed up a started asking questions they weren't so polite. Hmm. Deceptive business practices and looking to take advantage of women of under informed. people in general. read more

Let me remind you that I have a credit card with fire stone, This isn't my first time there. I dropped my 2016 Audi there. I had a warranty on my tire so I wanted them to fix my rear tire which had a slow leak. On my dashboard it says that I needed a battery and brakes. So I know exactly what needs to be done. While I was at the counter I told him exactly what was going on, he looked at my account and took down my phone number. All you need was to look up my account and you can see all my information. This was at 2 PM on Tuesday. He also asked if fire stone was going to keep it all day so they can work on it, there was no rush so I said OK. He took my keys and told me he was going to call me and let me know the status. I didn't receive a call so at 6:45pm I called. I then spoke to another representative and I ask him what was the status of my car. He pulled it up and he said it is finished, so I asked what was done on my vehicle? He said the tire and I had a zero balance. So I responded how is that possible if I needed a battery? (As you start my car and it let's you know) so my response to him was how could you start my car knowing I need a battery and not replace it as I asked? His response was they do not look to see what's wrong with the car. Wait a minute I brought my car to a car repair service center and I'm supposed to tell you what's wrong with my car? Well not only I told the first person what was needed to be done, but as soon as you start my car it tells you what needs to be done. His sarcastic response was The only thing was wrong with the car what's my tire. But that they will recheck it and give me a call. Today is Thursday, I have not received a phone call so I called at 7:50 AM. I'm not sure exactly what his name is I think it's Bob or Rob. I called to express what has happened to me, instead of trying to find a solution he just blow it up. I called and said I was the owner of the Audi and I am coming to pick up my car I have not received a phone call so I will pick up my car thank you. His response was well we already put a battery in your car I will take it out now and put your old battery back. I said sir leave my car as is I will be there shortly. Instead of saying 0K, this man got loud and said he is going to take HIS battery out of the car and put my old battery back in. My response to him was I could be your mother, your sister, why do you speaking to me like that? I instantly told him, thank you I need to call someone higher than you. My experience is that the customer needs to BEWARE. I was told that my car needed a new cylinder head replaced. It would probably cost me over $1000 dollars. I smelled a rat and declined. After, my father in law, who knows about cars, took a look at the car and found out that the temperature gauge was broken. The temperature gauge costs about $20. The job with labor would have cost me about $150 at a garage. My father in law took it off, and I have been driving without it ever since. I believe that they wanted to charge me for something I didn't need. I also believe that if they know you have a Firestone credit card, they try to upcharge you on things you do not need. My father in law said that there was nothing wrong with the cylinder head. I have never returned to this garage, and I never will. I have also told all my family and friends to never go to any Firestone. Go at your own risk. read more

I made an appointment on the website and went in the next day after getting confirmation and they said they did could not find it and they would get me in. I waited an hour and a half and my car was not even in the bay to get worked on. When I turned around, there were 6 guys standing behind the desk joking around and laughing. On 6/9/2015 my car was dead. I called AAA. He told me it was the starter not the battery. He was correct. I brought it to Firestone off Military Trail in Boynton Beach. They charge me $25 to test it to make sure it was the starter which the AAA guy was right with that. It took 21/2 hrs. to fix it. Never called. They charge me 187.99 for the starter LABOR WAS $243.49 Shop Supp was 14.61 with tax was $472.86. This is outrageous. NEVER will I go back there. They also said I needed new tires, spark plugs, new gasket which my old mechanic already did. Shame on them. JERKS read more

They should be out of business! My first experience with them was with a punctured tire. They told me that I needed 4 new tires, went to Sears and they repaired the tire, no need for buying new tires. Then, in April 2017, my car had a failure very close to them. The manager told me that I needed a lot of pieces changed. I asked them just to change the hose that was about to explode -according to them- for the change they charged me $170. Two days later I took the car to my mechanic because I had a failure engine signal, well, they left the new hose loose and it caused damage to the engine. My mechanic fixed the hose and told me that for a new one he would only have charged me $60. By the way, the hose was the only problem with my car. I went back to Firestone to complain about their services and explained that their negligence cost me an engine, the manager was very aggressive and rude and did not want to take responsibility for anything. Because of them I had to buy a new car. Stay away from them, specially if you are a woman. read more

Went to have my flat fixed, I went there after realizing I had picked up a bolt on the road, so I went before it got completely flat. My choice for this store stems from my purchasing a full set a few months ago. I was told it would be ready in about an hour and a half. 3 hours later,went back,they didn't even look at my vehicle.
