After a disappointing tire change experience at Firestone, I left thinking I would never come back. A couple of days later, Bryce, the store manager, personally called to ask what happened. I explained the situation in detail, and he listened, expressed genuine concern, and apologized. He assured me he would address the issues with his team. Today, I returned to have my tires aligned, and the service was professional, efficient, and courteous. Bryce once again apologized for my previous experience. It's rare to find a manager who takes customer feedback so seriously and works to make things right. Bryce is the reason I came back--and the reason I'll continue to be a customer here. read more

I happily paid for the lifetime alignment because it sounded like a good deal at the time. After making an appointment for an alignment and a balance I was told only the balance was in the system BUT they could do both. To my surprise neither was done. I paid and had my vehicle checked after the service and absolutely nothing was done to my vehicle. Firestone also told me that my brake light and my license plate lights were out... also not true. Melissa was so kind and the team was able to take care of it same day and ahead of schedule. They also fixed other things they noticed. I've been bringing both my fleet and personal vehicle here for a few years. Over the past year, the quality and speed of the work has gone noticeably downhill (apparently it will take over a week to fix a brake light). The guys at the desk make you feel like your ruining their day when you bring your vehicle in and it's apparent they don't really care if you give them business or not. There are enough quality shops around this area where you can get better service faster. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I called a day in advance inquiring about 2 tires and inspection, requesting the cheapest. I explained my fixed income, The manager Bill told me to come in the next day to apply for a card with them. He gave me a discount on the two tires, I applied for the card and got approved. I got 4 tires since my other two were not great. They also did my inspection and tires on the spot while I waited without telling me they were too busy that I would need and appointment, which I was very thankful for. they try to sell services you don't need. then when I didn't buy, i watched the tech (Josh con was what name said on computer screen) put my magnetic nut back on with an impact driver. I live nearly two hours away and just happened to be in the area. I would avoid at all costs. behaviors like this will intentionally break your vehicle to get you to pay for something. not trustworthy. Tech was Josh, supervisor was Carl. Needed an alignment and tire rotation done. Everywhere else was booked out more than a week. Called Firestone and the guy told me he could get me in and out within an hour if I got there fast. Got there and got set up, total it took about an hour and 15 minutes but it was still worth it! read more

Failed inspection saying I needed over $800 of work to pass, took it for second opinion and nothing wrong. Not to mention they recommend over $2k worth of unnecessary work and broke something on the inside. Shop small for honest. read more

I would give them a zero, but you need to give some kind of star to leave a comment. I figured I would give Firestone a shot, so I set up an appointment for an alignment because they were the cheapest place around. I couldn't get off so I sent my wife over there with the car and she called me because they said they have to do $500 worth of corrections before they could do the alignment. I told her not yet and let me take a look at it. After looking and thinking that they were wrong I took the car into the dealership and asked questions. Just like I thought, Firestone was dead wrong. Either they're incompetent and don't k ow what they're talking about or they were taking advantage of a woman and were filling her up with BS. Either way, it was my first time trying Firestone and without doing any work they've already lost business. Furthermore, I will be reporting this to BBB. read more

Absolutely horrible place to go. Don't go here!!! I just needed to go in for a state inspection and they were close and available for one on my day off work. They told me I needed to get my headlights adjusted to pass my inspection on my 2013 BMW! Then had the nerve to "recommend" me an alignment and brake fluid rinse. Mind you I just got brand new tires, a balancing, and an alignment 2 months prior. I called my cousin who is a trusted mechanic at Toyota because I forgot if I needed an alignment at all. NO! Charged me $116 for it. Know how I found out this was bullshit? Prior measurements on my rear camber was -8.3!!! Then immediately corrected to -1.5? The mechanic on the phone also treated my mom and I like we were dumb doornails. Mind you, I'm a woman, you know how that goes. Right when they see a woman come in, immediately try to take advantage and think we don't know anything. Oh no...I stormed up there and the manager immediately gave me a refund. He backpedaled so hard and said "oh, the mechanic dropped the gauge." Yeah. Oooookay, whatever. I know they never even touched my headlights either. Never again. This team is great. They took me in for a last minute oil change on my way out of town for work and were so courteous and quick. Bob helped me and he could tell I was stressed about trying to get to work and even gave me a $10 off coupon. I'll definitely be getting my car serviced here moving forward, but I'll make an appointment next time :) Only complaint is that the hours and phone number here are incorrect, but that's easy to remedy. read more

Great customer service but lied about replacing my valve cover gasket. I originally came in to get my alignment done and they noticed my valve cover gasket needed to be replaced. I said to go right ahead since I'll be moving to New Jersey shortly. I moved up to New Jersey, got my oil change from a reputable shop and the tech asked when was the last time I changed my valve cover gasket. I told him last week from Firestone, he laughed, shook his head and showed me indications that it was never replaced. The tech was extremely nice enough to take his time to educate me on it and was able to replace them half the cost with quality work. I will never trust Firestone again. read more

I have always use Firestone but I drifted away for about 4 years but I'm back! Brian & Robert offer the BEST customer service their is to offer. They don't rush you, they assess the vehicle to make sure they are giving you good information. They are thorough and the prices are very competitive and worth the investment for your car care. Great work guys - when you have good leadership it filters to the bottom. After reading these reviews, I was skeptical to using this location. I have since visited this location twice in the last week with excellent customer service and automotive work. I first went in to have two front tires replaced, had wonderful service, and a very quick turn around of about an hour. They courteously rotated my old tires to the front for no charge. After experiencing road noise from my old tires being in bad shape, I went online for another quote and found that they were offering the same tire at buy three get one free. After a call to the manager of the store, he happily offered to apply the discount to my two new tires, as well as the two that I had replaced today. This location will see my business again, as they went above and beyond the expected customer service, and offered to leave the car on the lot for an after hours pickup. read more

I was pulling into Starbucks to get some coffee last night when I noticed my car was making a weird noise. I get out and saw that my tire was flat. I drove across the parking lot to Firestone but it was around 7:15 and they were already closed. I didn't try to knock on the door to get anyone out there. I know how to change spare tires so I pulled into the lot and went through my trunk... only to discover the car I just bought in October did NOT have a spare in it! Or a donut! I called insurance and they said they couldn't get anyone out to me until tomorrow. I was going to set up a ride home when an employee pulled beside me and asked if I was okay. Another came right after and they looked at my tire. They got permission from the manager to unlock the shop and either fix or sell me a tire. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you two for helping me. I had my 4 year old and a final exam I was supposed to be studying for. The tire wasn't able to be fixed and I was sold a new one- I trusted them completely to do what was best. I really appreciate you guys taking the time after work to help me get back home to Isle of Wight. I believe their names were Aaron and James. Top notch customer service. If I could give 6 stars I would. I had an appointment at Merchants around the corner off Dock Landing road and when I arrived for my appointment 15 mins early I was told they were running an hour and a half behind. What is the purpose of scheduling an appointment?? I then Googled other tire places close by, called this Firestone and spoke to Craig who was extremely nice, ready and willing to help and assured me he would get me in and out since I had to travel to Richmond later in the day and needed good tires. When I arrived he immediately greeted me and assessed my needs. As a female I most appreciate the fact that he didn't try to up sell a lot of other things I didn't want, but simply told me what he had which matched my needs and got it rolling quickly. He even had a technician on stand-by ready to get my truck in a bay and replace my tires. Craig even gave me an update midway through the tire replacement. I could not be happier with the experience and the level of customer service. Experiences like this will make me a Firestone customer for life and will never waste my time with a Merchants ever again. Keep up the great work and thank you for taking care of me Craig! read more

We took out car up to have it inspected and to look at the AC they fooled my grandparents into them "making" a new line for the AC to save us $900 one you dont just make a new line and two they dont cost new $900 and then on top of that we got it back 5 or 6 days later and the AC does not even work. Do not trust them and not saying the people work there are bad you have to do what you have to do for a check but its the higher ups. read more

Wife came home with a big chunk out of her tire. Went to BJ's and they wouldn't help me without an appointment. Called Brandon at Firestone and he said he had the tires I needed in stock and if I could come on over he would install them today. Luckily they were running a sale and ended up cheaper than if I would have had it done at BJ's. As I sat and waited to have my work done, I was impressed by the way Brandon was able to accommodate and please everyone that walked through the door. Most impressive was, a woman walked in with a baby and had a tire issue and needed help. He pulled a guy off a car that wouldn't be picked up today and commenced to get her back on the road. I took my Pathfinder in for a State inspection and when they called to say it was ready they told me my oil was dark and low and they suggested an oil change. Funny thing is that the oil was just changed less than two months and 1000 miles ago. I checked it myself when I picked it up and it was clean and full. How could I ever trust any diagnosis they give if they blatantly lie just to try to sell me an oil change. I'll never go back. read more

I went into Firestone February 24 to get my power steering pump replaced as I had had a mechanic tell me it needed to be done because it wasn't functioning properly. Well the fix was almost $500 and then want to tag on another $1000 for a rack and pinion which I could not afford at the time so I refused the service. Well June my power steering went completely out and I had a mechanic friend look at it and he replaced it and when going in he said I needed a new pump. I said it's not even 6 months old yet. How is that possible? He said it's way more than 6 months old and he said he doesn't believe firestone ever replaced it and they made me sign a waiver saying I wouldn't dispute any problems with the pump because I didn't pay for the rack and pinion so now I'm just out $500 and I still have to get an actual new pump. They charged for parts and labor they never did. I believe they just assumed I'd go for the rack and pinion and they could do it all at once and then didn't want to admit it when I went up there to pick it up. I cannot believe the poor service and I was a fool. Please be careful, guys. read more
