This morning, I noticed my car was unusually bumpy and turned around to check. Upon inspecting the tire, I discovered it was flat due to a nail puncture. I managed to switch it to the spare and called Tire Choice on Western Branch Blvd to see if they could patch it. I was able to walk in, and while there was a bit of a wait, they efficiently got me in and patched the tire. Ryan, Austin, and Dennis were all incredibly helpful throughout the process--I can't say enough good things about them. The cost was only $25.89, and they not only patched the tire, but also removed my spare and put the repaired tire back on for me. The waiting area had comfortable chairs and a TV, which made the wait more bearable. I'm especially grateful that they are open on Sundays, as most other tire shops are closed. They MAY only be good at reparing tires. They do other work and charge tripple the price. Customer service either makes the customer feel stupid for asking a question or they seem like they were forced to show up for work. Simple oil change (full synthetic) scheduled online, showed up early for appt and told they would get to it in 3 hours. Had to find a ride home only to get home and be told "your car is ready for pick up". Final cost $118...I will NEVER go there again read more

These guys are crooks. Stay away. Took my car in because I was having trouble getting the serpentine belt back on my CR-V after changing the alternator. They said it needed a new tensioner. That didn't really agree with what I saw, but I figured the car's an 07, a new tensioner wouldn't hurt. They charged $227.51 in parts for the tensioner, which is at least double the going rate for that part. Also $255 in labor. The thing mounts with 3 bolts. Make it 6 bolts since you probably need to take out the power steering pump. I'm sure they decided to maximize labor by unnecessarily taking out the engine mount, way to think outside the box there. Not only that, they charged $158 for the belt itself. A serpentine belt for that car is, at most, $50. Takes 5 minutes to put on as long as you've got the right tool. I get that the idea here is to make a profit, but this is straight up gouging. I pointed it out to the guy running the desk and he helpfully reminded me that I couldn't get the belt back on myself. It's fine. They clearly need the money more than I do. This had become my go-to shop for our two cars, but I won't be coming back now. I hope they make that $750 last. read more

I go to a seafood restaurant when I want seafood and an Italian restaurant when I want pasta. So I go to a tire shop when I need tires, not engine work even though they have certified technicians. They are a tire chain which tells me they see more tires than any other car issues. Right away Dennis who checked me in around 10 am showed me he knew what he was doing when he explained (without me asking) the type of tires, their quality, and why they cost what they did. Dennis offered a comparison analysis between my original tires, the tires the dealership offered after state inspection failure, and the tires he was offering. I appreciated the information to make an informed decision. I even purchased the road warranty and alignment that was needed with the four new tires I purchased from Tire Choice. I love the fact that a Napa parts store is right across the street for the additional items I needed to pass the state inspection. I also loved that the work to my vehicle was done in one and a half hours. I'm very pleased with the service here and will be back when my other vehicles need tires. read more

Overpromised and under delivered. Lack of communication, respect, and customer service. Telling me my car won't be ready today. I then go to pick up the car to get it serviced somewhere else, and they tell me your car is being looked at and will be ready in 20 minutes. After the bill was paid they say "I wish it was a pleasure to work with you, but honestly it was not." Not a great way to treat customers, whether it was deserving or not. If the customer service was right in the first place, there would be no need to say what they said. This lack of respect and customer service is rampant here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Take your business somewhere else. read more

Spoke with them on the phone and they said to bring my vehicle in. Walked in and was not helped for nearly five minutes. Finally poked my head into the work bay and was told with annoyance they would be with me in a minute. Associate finally came out and answered the phone right in front of me. Associate them informed me he could not help me and I would have to go to the dealer; which is fine if that's the case, but that could have been mentioned over the phone before recommending getting someone to follow me to the business. read more

I've been to this tread quarters location twice now. And both times the service has been really good! The first time I went it was to have something repaired so my car could pass inspection but I didn't have the time to have the inspection done there and then. So I took it somewhere else at another time and the car did not pass inspection. I took it back to tread quarters so they could see why it failed. They were cool about it and made the additional repair without charging me again. They also completed my inspection. I was pleased that I did not have to go back to the first place to have it inspected again and I didn't have to pay again. The most recent time I went was to have my oil changed and they let me know that there was some other work I need to have done. It was more than I anticipated to spend that day however I was glad they let me know instead of just sending me on my way with new oil and a busted up car. I don't know if they legally have to tell me the other stuff but either way I'm glad they did. I left my car there and they called me when it was ready for pick up. I took a Lyft from home to go pick up my car and then realize once I got there that I had left my wallet! I was happy to discover that I could use Apple Pay from my phone to pay and get my car. That was totally unexpected but perfect! Overall I'm happy with tread quarters and will be back when I need more repairs or maintenance. read more

I was a walk in, just wanting someone to check out my brakes. The technician was able to get my suv in the shop in under 10mins. The front receptionist who I assume is a manager told me I didn't need brakes. They were so sincere and I just want to say thank you because there are only a handful of mechanics/technicians that really care. I'm just thankful I stopped into this location. These guys are awesome. I take The Volks in to get tires here and they are always friendly and get you out as soon as they can. This time around they showed me a slight bend in the inside of the passenger side front rim and rotated them out for free. Sean was the tech and deserves the credit. read more

My husband pulled my tire off of my car knowing it could be repaired and we came to tread quarters just to have a guy half way look at it and say that it couldn't be. What a crock! He seemed like he just needed to get back to a nap. With that, we drove 1/2 mile down to Dellinger's and they fixed our tire on the spot for $26. Go there instead! read more

I have a back injury so I wasn't able to take my truck down to get two tires which I made appointment the previous day so my wife took my truck to the appointment first they told her they didn't have the tires of that set up but they had some tires that cost a little more so I got her to question them about it and they found a tire at the nearby store then I found out a little later if they said one of the wheel studs were stripped so they couldn't put the tire on until it was fixed so they charge us $90 to put on a four dollar wheel stud so if you think you're getting a deal here they'll find a way to screw you out more money lesson learned my advice is stick with the professionals and stay away from these half assed places read more

As I was walking up the the door I heard a mechanic in the bays throwing things around and saying the "N" word. He was an older white guy, so this caught me by surprise. He was having a hissy fit and just going off. I promptly turned around and went back into my car. I see the guy coming out of the shop still irate and yelling and sped off in his truck. read more

This review will be short, not sweet and to the point. I needed my car inspected. Shame on me for waiting until the last minute to do this. Got it. However, I called ahead to this tread quarters and asked them if they would be able to inspect my car and how much it would be. They told me I would be better dropping it off. I replied I would be there in a few. When I arrived, I was told they have no availability today and they wouldn't be able to see my car. So wait, in a 7 minute time frame (I live about 7 mins away from this place), you go from "drop your car off" to "we can't see you today." Even though the distance is not that far, I could have saved myself time and carried my car somewhere else if I was told over the PHONE that they did not in fact have the availability to see me today. So because of this poor excuse for customer service, I will carry my business elsewhere even when I am in the neighborhood shopping for something even as simple as a tire repair. Based on my experience I wouldn't want them handling anything related to my car. If you are busy, do your customers a favor and tell them that over the phone when they call in. read more

Went to Tread Quarters on 1/01/2016 to get my car inspected. The total of the inspection was to cost 16-17 dollars, but an employee (mechanic) by the name of Matthew told me that I needed new wiper blades, because the old ones were tearing apart, and that it would cost 80 dollars to put them on the car (Really?). I got there, went to my car and pulled on the old wiper blades myself. Even took a video of it to show me pulling the wiper blades and to my amazement and amusement, the wiper blades were perfectly fine. I will never be a customer there again and I suggest nobody else go there unless they want to be coaxed into buying something they don't need. I'm disgusted! Thank you for a rejection sticker for no reason and the waste of my time and money! read more
