Paid for service and walked out and before reaching my vehicle the Shadow security car passed slowly followed by the security golf cart with the angry little brother flashing his flashlight in my freakin face!!!! What was the motive!!!! Because I'm African American! There was a Hispanic couple standing outside nearby and he didn't do bother to check his flashlight batteries on them! This could have been a tragic case had I not held my composure and sense of self respect! I got my oil changed by this Firestone location and all was well until I ended up on the side of the road a few hours later and had to wait for AAA because there was smoke coming from my hood and a ginormous puddle of oil leaking from the bottom of my car. I had to wait an hour to get my car towed back to the location. Presumably, they were able to fix the issue once I returned my car to the location about 15 minutes before closing. From what I understood, they gave me a defective part and had to replace it really quick and I should be good to go from here. The reason I'm giving this Firestone a 1 star review was because I was completely dismissed by the front desk employee who had been helping me basically all day. As the face of the location, George should have acknowledged my concerns and frustrations. Instead, I was treated as an inconvenience and pretty rushed out the door without so much as an apology. This could have ruined my engine and cost me thousands of dollars if I hadn't handled it immediately. I understand it was almost closing time, and it's inconvenient to deal with customers so close to leaving, but I would argue its more inconvenient to have to back up on an active road to park somewhere and wait an hour for AAA to take me back to Firestone so they could fix the issue. In efforts of transparency, the mechanic who fixed my car was very apologetic about the situation and did the best he could to solve the issue. I wish I had received that sentiment from all employees at this location. This Firestone heavily lacks in customer service. This has been a continuous problem at this location where people trust them with their cars, something bad happens to them, and customers are shooed out the door because they fixed the problem they created and there's nothing to worry about now. read more

[FIRESTONE CHARGED $1,417 BUT FAILS TO FIX MY CAR] Apr 12, 2025, I had my 2016 RAV4-hybrid inspect by Firestone Store #7447 (11888 Marsh Lane, Dallas, TX 75234), because the car produces clunks from the driver-side front suspension when running over speeding bumps. After inspection, Firestone quoted $1,417 to replace front struts and sway bars. This is pricy, and I asked if it's necessary to replace the struts, and they said it is necessary, otherwise it is unsafe to drive. I further asked if I replace them, will the clunks vanish? And they explicitly confirmed it, then I paid. (It is worth noting that three weeks earlier, around Mar 15, I had my car inspected by Toyota dealer, and Toyota dealer didn't recommend replacing any parts. On Apr 12, I agreed to replace the parts by Firestone just because I easily believed Firestone when I saw the big motto hang on their lobby "We are people of integrity, and we believe that fundamental honesty is the keystone of our business." The so-called core value turns out to be ironic and a big lesson to me.) Back to the story. On Apr 12 afternoon I picked up my, and I deliberately drove over the bumps in the yard to test it, and I found that the clunks were still there; the condition didn't improve at all. Then I complained to the store, and they asked me to come "tomorrow" (Apr 13) to redo the work. Then on Apr 13 they took another whole day to redo the work. Around 5 pm they called me to pick it up, and I went, and I asked what the problem was. The front desk said they replaced another pair of "better" struts, and they promised this time it would be all good. But, the problem is still there. I highly suspect the original struts do not need to be replaced, and Firestone performed the wrong diagnosis and replaced the wrong parts. I complained to the Firestone headquarter on Apr 22, and after two days Alex Nickerson, manager of Store #7447, called me back, and promised to thoroughly solve my problem. The third time I sent my car over, and after a whole day of work, Alex explicitly told me they had no way to fix it, and Alex explicitly asked me to have the Toyota dealer to replace the engine mounts, because Firestone has no capacity to replace them. That means, according to Alex Nickerson, Firestone charged me $1,417 to do nothing, and they don't want to refund me. read more

I came to Firestone because they are supposed to be a reputable company ...but I've went to several locations to fix my ac paid over $1200 and they said they needed more money. So I paid more and was guaranteed if I did it would fix the issue. Now $1500 later my ac still doesn't work and they are asking for another $1000 to fix it. I'm devastated and will NEVER use Firestone again. Please don't make the mistake I did and go somewhere else. read more

I stopped here on the Sunday before Memorial Day at 2pm when my tire light came on. The shop was really crowded but Kendrick checked my tire pressure and confirmed there was a nail in one. They tried to say they didn't have a qualified person on duty but it was simply a coolant exchange, a general vehicle inspection and a flat repair!! The staff are super nice and kind. They are not pushy nor condescending. My 2 star rating comes from the time it takes to perform a service. I was told to come in at 10:30am and did not leave the lot until 3:30pm. Each time I asked I was told, "90 more minutes" "45 more minutes" "15 more minutes"...I was getting my tires rotated which should be a relatively simple process. I needed an oil change and my AC wasn't cooling. I figured it needed freon or coolant, whatever- easy fix with a bottle of liquid. They informed me they had a $9.99 AC check, so I did that. I was called to the counter after a while and told my AC needed a complete repair, it was completely shot. Needed all new parts. This was going to cost $2200. Imagine my surprise. I was expecting a $50 (max) bottle of coolant. I said absolutely not, paid for my oil change and left. I took the car to a guy at a dealership I've used for 20 years, different make vehicle but he said they could take a look at it. Trustworthy. Honest. Not going to take advantage of a woman. Spent over $ 1,000 on new tires for 2 cars on Saturday. After paying extra for an alignment, took one car back on Sunday because it was pulling to the left. Service Rep said he re-check it and the alignment was fine and the amount a floating was acceptable. Took the same car to the Carrollton location today to have it recheck and the new tire was bad. The Carrollton location is making it right. I will never use the Marsh/Forest Lane location again. The service rep totally discounted our concerns regarding the pulling and sold us a bad tire. read more

My 17-yr-old daughter got a flat tire and took her car here as this is where we had purchased the tire and warrantee. They fixed the tire but told her if would be 2-3 hours to install it (this is not a long job to accomplish...). As she had been on her way to school, the manager on duty told her that she could install the tire herself if she did not want to wait hours. She also witnessed him yelling at/demeaning fellow employees. To her mortification, the manager apparently watched her struggle installing the tire in the parking lot (she had literally no clue what she was doing) from sitting on his a** at the desk directly from the front window, with a clear view of her. She eventually figured it out (she did not tell me this had happened until after the fact), but folks, this situation left a terrible taste in my mouth and we certainly will not be using them again. Came in for an alignment. Randy stated they would need a full day bc they were busy. The day before, I spoke with a gentleman who asked me to bring my car in at noon. I CALLED BEFORE COMING IN AND they said it would be ninety minutes. This is a shady location. I wasted twenty minutes driving to this location just to be told they needed extra time. Randy also claimed I didn't talk to anyone at his store because they know not to ask people to come in on Sundays. I drove to another Firestone and they are taking care of my alignment. I wouldn't come to this location for service. There are too many service garages to have the lack of concern he had. I wouldn't recommend this shop. Save your time and money. Trust your gut. This place is the worst. They always have terrible service, and extremely long wait and they are pretty unaccommodating. I went in here a few weeks ago to get my car aligned, and they informed me that they would not align my car but rather they would aid me in $2300 worth of repairs that I apparently needed. I got a detailed report of the most important items that I needed. Took the liberty of ordering them online at a discounted price. Take my car and these parts to my mechanic to have these things replaced which they said where dire if I wanted to continue driving my car. Go to my mechanic and he says that none of the parts that I purchased were any of the parts that I needed. He then proceeded to show me all of the things that were very clearly wrong which ended up being a total of $150 worth of parts. None of which were detailed in this report from fire stone. I will never come here again. They are not worth my business nor my time. And I cannot believe the hill that they put me through with the miss information. I should really call the Better Business Bureau about their misconduct and the fact that they are clearly in adequate to provide any type of auto advice. read more

After running a few errands A/C stopped working suspiciously. So I take it back & spoke to Dennis the manager. He tells me that they are running a special on A/C diagnostic test. Wants me to leave my car over night.. HELL... Nooooo.! Don't use this store! An oil change should only take no more then 30 minutes especially when you have an appointment. My Battery was just under 3 years old and was having massive corrosion issues around the positive post. On 2/4/18 I took it back to Firestone for a replacement. When I arrived, there was no one in the store. A gentlemen in a back room came out and said he'd get someone for me. The guy who came out had an attitude from the start....Tire and Service Adviser (Alicio Hernandez) is a total jerk. I explained the problem with the battery and I'd need a replacement. Because of the corrosion, I told him I'd also need a new terminal connector. His response "We don't sell those...you'll have to go somewhere else". Took him forever to get the battery. I asked if he could please put some grease on the posts for me. "We don't have any grease!" Hmmmm....you have a mechanic shop and you fix cars, how can you not have grease? So then he asks where my truck is. It of course was at home. "Then how are we going to put the battery in?" Let's see, I walked in there WITH the battery, I asked him for a new terminal connector since I would have to replace the old one, AND I asked him to put grease on the posts......WHAT could possibly make him think I was expecting him to install it?!?!??!?! I asked him to write down his name. He throws me his card, "I don't write anything down". I looked at the card and asked if he was Alicio. "That's what it says on the card." Fine, I asked for the managers name. "Call the 800 number on the card". I think that's when I told him what he could do to himself. AND....there's no 800 number on the card! If it were not for the battery warranty, I would have walked out at the beginning of this incident. You can be sure I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

So my wife took her Honda in because the A/C wasn't working, they quoted her $1600 to replace they system. A 6 year old car with less than 80,000 miles needs a complete system. There wasn't a car in any of the bays, yet they didn't get in contact with me til 4:30pm and stated my car wouldn't be available til mid morning the following day. I had been here before and didn't have a problem, but the last time I went in for an inspection. The night before I had used my high beams while driving and everything worked fine. They told me I needed a new high beam light and I asked if they could show me. They wouldn't let me in the shop to show my light was out. The guy scrambled around and got some kind of bulb to show me it was burnt out. I looked and it did look burned out, but then it had a GM Part number on it and I drive a Toyota. I asked to see the one from my car. He told me it was from my car. That's when I pointed out that this had a GM part number on it. He told me this light must have been replaced before and lights can be interchangeable. If I left, I still had to pay for the service and then I would have to go and buy a new light (that I didn't need) and go have it reinspected. The total came to $74.00. I checked two other places for the bright beam and it was $7.00 to $9.00. It's the old bait and switch at this place. They may have made money this time but never again. read more
