Not only did they match me with perfect rims and tires, but they did it with old school hospitality and quality service. It's rare these days that I walk out of a business feeling like I got the best care and got it at a great price! Juan could not have been more accommodating! Super impressed and can't recommend this business enough!

Thanks Jason for giving my car some attitude!

They fixed my flat tire really fast and were friendly and professional. I'll be coming back here whenever my car is in trouble.

I was told by the technicians that this has happened before at this location, which was concerning to hear. Even more concerning, I was informed that they currently do not have a manager because the previous manager left for another location. When I asked what could be done about the broken dipstick, I was told to "maybe just super glue it back on." A broken dipstick is not a proper repair, and it leaves me unable to easily check my oil level without additional work and expense. While I understand that accidents happen, what matters is how a business handles them. In this case, there was no real solution offered, no accountability taken, and I was still charged full price for the service despite leaving with a damaged vehicle component. Since this happened, my truck is now in the shop and I am currently without a vehicle. I am having to spend upwards of $60 just to get to work, all out of my own pocket, while also trying to pay to fix damage that was caused during their service. The "manager" told me, "I'll put a claim in for you," but I still have not heard from anyone. The entire situation has been unprofessional and clearly careless. What is even more frustrating is that one of the technicians simply moved on to the next vehicle as if nothing had happened. Their slogan is "10-minute oil change," yet I was there for over an hour before they even started working on my truck. The lack of urgency, accountability, and customer service was unbelievable. I hope ownership or upper management addresses these issues, as customers should not have to pay for mistakes made during routine maintenance. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. I honestly would not trust them with my kids' toy truck if they were the only option left. Pathetic.

I've always known Valvoline Instant Oil Change as the place where you pull up, wait in your car for…read morea few minutes to get a speedy oil change, and then off you go. That's what Valvoline used to be. Now, it's nothing short of a gamble as to how long your wait will be as you sit behind what is essentially someone else's auto dealership service visit. The Valvoline wait problem is real. 45+ minute wait for a single oil change - it's inexcusable. It's easy to think this location's technicians are either incredibly slow, selling too much - or both. I really believe though that this is a situation in which Valvoline, Inc. can't get its branding and workflow right and that locations like this are at the mercy of having to sell more services for profit while in the process sacrificing the speed Valvoline promises as a brand. It makes sense: Offer an 18-point service check, find other vehicle issues, and upsell. But that's not who you've been as a brand, and continue to promote yourself to be, Valvoline. The name of your location is, "Valvoline Instant Oil Change." So you make more money with more repair services and I'm all for getting work done so I'm safe behind the wheel - but that's not why I go to Valvoline. I go there to get an oil change quickly and get out. There is no reason why I should choose Valvoline for extended service repairs like flushes given that auto dealers and other auto repair shops have stepped up their waiting areas with more comfort and amenities. In the amount of time it took yesterday to get my oil change at Valvoline sitting in my car, I could have booked online with my auto dealer and gotten multiple things fixed while relaxing comfortably in its waiting area with coffee and snacks, or working on my computer being productive with high-speed internet. I still need some other service done according to my Valvoline check but after the wait for the oil change and then the service itself, I had no interest. The guy in front of me got an oil change, new filter, and, lo and behold, there was something wrong with his gas tank knob! I hope they got as much money from him as they could while the rest of us waited and waited and waited. Michael, my service technician, acknowledged the wait, but didn't apologize for it, nor did he offer any make-good. I'm sure that's because he didn't think there was anything wrong - it was just busy. That is the problem: His job is to sell and fix no matter how long it takes. Hopefully, the Valvoline bosses above him will stop getting their wires crossed and help him do a better job of that with branding, and workflow and logistical changes. Soon - if not instantly. Also..how did an oil change in general go from $19.99 to $80 in, like, 5 minutes?

I'm not from Dallas so I looked up tire service near me. R&S was close and had good reviews. The place looked a little rough but again the reviews were highly favorable. They sold us a used tire that was in NO condition to be on the road. I've purchased used tires before, and they've NEVER had holes or tears in them. Once the used tire was installed, my sister noticed the air pressure symbol light up on the dashboard. Before leaving, she asked them to take a second look at it. They told us it was fine and the light would turn off once we started driving. This was not the case. The tire they installed went flat within 8 hours, to no one's surprise. We called the next day and were told to bring the car back to the shop. The only problem? The car was NOT DRIVEABLE. The tire was so low that we risked damaging our car by even moving it. The manager, Junior, advised us to still drive on it. According to him, they've advised customers to drive on flats before, all the way from Denton to Dallas. Before trying to drive anywhere, we attempted to replace the tire with the spare, but the lugs were placed on too tight. Upon closer inspection, we saw multiple large holes and tears in the tire. According to their manager, Junior, it's standard to test tires before placing them on the car. It's clear this tire was not tested prior to being installed. On top of this, they ignored concerns about the tire pressure light being on after they installed the new tire, further endangering my sisters saftey. If they had taken the time to double check their work, it would have saved us the time and worry. We ended up having to stop at another mechanic on the way, since we were fearful we would not make it to the shop in one piece. The mechanics there were very friendly, changed our tire free of charge, and let us know we should not have been driving on it. When we finally made it to the shop, the employees realized they did not have any more used tires in our size. This begs the question- did R&S knowingly provide us a faulty tire, just to make a sale? The tire they sold us was the last one in that size. To top all of this off, I received the worst customer service of my life from Junior (manager) and the owner, Khalid. Junior was callous in his approach, did not have any empathy, and seemed unbothered at the severity of the situation. He rudely suggested we go to another mechanic down the street, despite fault clearly lying with R&S tires and wheels. We voiced our disappointment and intention to file a complaint with the BBB. When we finally reached a resolution of getting a new tire in the correct size, the owner, Khalid, sent us disparaging and unprofessional texts after we left the shop, further displaying R&S Tires' unprofessional business practices and horrible customer service. As you can read from other reviews on Google, R&S Tires does not uphold customer safety. Please save yourself the headache and pick ANY other mechanic shop in the area. You'll be thankful you did!

I had to wait an hour to get my car towed back to the location. Presumably, they were able to fix the issue once I returned my car to the location about 15 minutes before closing. From what I understood, they gave me a defective part and had to replace it really quick and I should be good to go from here. The reason I'm giving this Firestone a 1 star review was because I was completely dismissed by the front desk employee who had been helping me basically all day. As the face of the location, George should have acknowledged my concerns and frustrations. Instead, I was treated as an inconvenience and pretty rushed out the door without so much as an apology. This could have ruined my engine and cost me thousands of dollars if I hadn't handled it immediately. I understand it was almost closing time, and it's inconvenient to deal with customers so close to leaving, but I would argue its more inconvenient to have to back up on an active road to park somewhere and wait an hour for AAA to take me back to Firestone so they could fix the issue. In efforts of transparency, the mechanic who fixed my car was very apologetic about the situation and did the best he could to solve the issue. I wish I had received that sentiment from all employees at this location. This Firestone heavily lacks in customer service. This has been a continuous problem at this location where people trust them with their cars, something bad happens to them, and customers are shooed out the door because they fixed the problem they created and there's nothing to worry about now.

After inspection, Firestone quoted $1,417 to replace front struts and sway bars. This is pricy, and I asked if it's necessary to replace the struts, and they said it is necessary, otherwise it is unsafe to drive. I further asked if I replace them, will the clunks vanish? And they explicitly confirmed it, then I paid. (It is worth noting that three weeks earlier, around Mar 15, I had my car inspected by Toyota dealer, and Toyota dealer didn't recommend replacing any parts. On Apr 12, I agreed to replace the parts by Firestone just because I easily believed Firestone when I saw the big motto hang on their lobby "We are people of integrity, and we believe that fundamental honesty is the keystone of our business." The so-called core value turns out to be ironic and a big lesson to me.) Back to the story. On Apr 12 afternoon I picked up my, and I deliberately drove over the bumps in the yard to test it, and I found that the clunks were still there; the condition didn't improve at all. Then I complained to the store, and they asked me to come "tomorrow" (Apr 13) to redo the work. Then on Apr 13 they took another whole day to redo the work. Around 5 pm they called me to pick it up, and I went, and I asked what the problem was. The front desk said they replaced another pair of "better" struts, and they promised this time it would be all good. But, the problem is still there. I highly suspect the original struts do not need to be replaced, and Firestone performed the wrong diagnosis and replaced the wrong parts. I complained to the Firestone headquarter on Apr 22, and after two days Alex Nickerson, manager of Store #7447, called me back, and promised to thoroughly solve my problem. The third time I sent my car over, and after a whole day of work, Alex explicitly told me they had no way to fix it, and Alex explicitly asked me to have the Toyota dealer to replace the engine mounts, because Firestone has no capacity to replace them. That means, according to Alex Nickerson, Firestone charged me $1,417 to do nothing, and they don't want to refund me.
