recently brought my truck in for an oil change, and during the service the technician broke the handle off my engine oil dipstick. I was told by the technicians that this has happened before at this location, which was concerning to hear. Even more concerning, I was informed that they currently do not have a manager because the previous manager left for another location. When I asked what could be done about the broken dipstick, I was told to "maybe just super glue it back on." A broken dipstick is not a proper repair, and it leaves me unable to easily check my oil level without additional work and expense. While I understand that accidents happen, what matters is how a business handles them. In this case, there was no real solution offered, no accountability taken, and I was still charged full price for the service despite leaving with a damaged vehicle component. Since this happened, my truck is now in the shop and I am currently without a vehicle. I am having to spend upwards of $60 just to get to work, all out of my own pocket, while also trying to pay to fix damage that was caused during their service. The "manager" told me, "I'll put a claim in for you," but I still have not heard from anyone. The entire situation has been unprofessional and clearly careless. What is even more frustrating is that one of the technicians simply moved on to the next vehicle as if nothing had happened. Their slogan is "10-minute oil change," yet I was there for over an hour before they even started working on my truck. The lack of urgency, accountability, and customer service was unbelievable. I hope ownership or upper management addresses these issues, as customers should not have to pay for mistakes made during routine maintenance. I arrived at 12:48 and right the time on your windshield they pulled me into the bay at 1:02 and they let me sit there for 25 minutes and then serviced me once they were done changing the oil. I asked him if they were going to at least check the windshield wiper fluid which they did and that was it even though it states there that they should check other things like tire pressure and coolant level, etc. They were rude and there's no such thing as five minute or 10 minute oil change , that's baloney. when I asked why such a long wait, they said the manager and his name I quote was B was the one that prioritize who got serviced first as I watched three cars get serviced before me, even though they arrived after I did. read more

Waited an hour on my current visit only for them to tell me that they didn't have my filter. On my previous visit didn't reset my oil change sensor so my car read that i needed an oil change for a month after i left the last visit. In all go somewhere else if you value your time read more

I was in need of a state inspection in order to renew my registration and decide to stop by the Forest Lane location, minutes from my home. I was promptly approached and guided to the correct lane for inspections. While the wait was a little long, I couldn't fault the guys working there in the sweltering heat. I was offered a bottled water while I waited and was taken care of by Hunter Wilson. He was professional, communicative and got me tskeb care of as quickly as possible. Been coming to this locatiom for years and never had issues. Customer service has gone downhill recently due to their new male manager. He was aggressive and raising his voice to me, barking at other customers, and his employees. He clearly is on a power trip. First time customer. The bay had someone in it and I was next in line. They asked me to pop the hood and I waited for 15 minutes for the guy in the bay be finish up and leave. They opened another bay about the time I pulled inside and started working on the new guy before I stopped over the oil pit. The employee raised the hood and walked off Didn't come back for 4-5 minutes. So much for a 5 minute oil change. He said they were out of the less expensive oil so my option was a $125 oil change for a 23 year old truck. Nope. He asked if I wanted him to close the hood . Yep. I've been coming here for 2 years and I've never received less than excellent service. The team here is very customer focused. I know that when I come here I'm not going to be bombarded with overwhelming recommendations. One time they turned me away because I came too early for my oil change ( I rarely) I like the fact they are honest and don't gauge you for things you don't need. I wish they offered more maintenance services because I would use them exclusively. They answer questions and don't mind doing so. They are super friendly too! Highly recommend read more

I had used to change my oil In the last 5 times on take 5 Look nice and professional But the last time they offered me 7000 Mile oil replacement but and told me that Next time they will replace all my fluids except of the brakes fuel I had noticed that the sticker was for 3000 so I asked why they told me that next time they will replace it and all fluid except for the brakes fluid for free I got there and guess what?? When I came the told me I didn't replace the oil for 11000 mile but I am showing the guy That I had replace it 3000 miles ago and I have the sticker as a prove he told me that in their computer, that what is show and start To call me rude and I need to pay 93$ for oil replacement but all they want is more money Like accusing me being rude because he didn't have answer Don't expect them to respect what they told you when you pay and don't expect them to Put the right oil for your car read more

Avoid Take 5 at all costs! I brought my car in for an oil change, and immediately after their service, my water pump failed before I could even leave the parking lot. Their employees promised to cover my ride-share costs while my car was being repaired, but after dragging the process out for weeks, they refused to pay. On top of that, they still charged me full price for the oil change that led to this mess. Horrible customer service, broken promises, and zero accountability. Poor service. Arrived onsite at 820am and there was one car getting serviced. I waited until that service was collected and the employee came to speak to me and said that he had two cars from a dealership that were in front of me and that I had to wait. There was not any person waiting so why is the company's stance on customer service is to just ignore an actual person ready to pay for the service and get some cars completed in the list? Is that how customer service is taught at this company? If so, that's piss poor and I'll pray for you. I came here last week, and had been there once before with a different vehicle. I went back because of the service hands down, and I'm so glad I did. The first time there were multiple workers there- last week ONE gentleman was there. But let me tell you, don't let that stop you from coming here. He came out to greet me, he didn't complain that he was the only one there (I've had that happen before other places) and he explained to me he was wrapping up with one car, explained he had another car ahead of me, and then it would be my turn. He guided me into the open bay and got back to work. I never saw him running around like a mad man, in fact, he took his time but was efficient. He didn't rush anyone out of there, answered questions, offered water, and seriously was so calm that I was confident my oil change would be done right, and I still wouldn't be there extra time because it was just him. When it came to my turn, he took his time to educate me on what he had seen/found (which I loved the time before as well) and didn't try to scare or worry me, was very matter of fact about it and was sincerely just letting me know, and no pressure. Hands down will come back here for every oil change. I wish I could recall his name, because he was a great example of what customer service should look like and service period! I'll look back on my receipt and find his name and come back and edit. Honestly what impressed me is his calm - he didn't seem stressed one time which in turn kept customers calm, and he was able to work efficiently and safely. I feel like I was ripped off. I went during black Friday weekend as they had a coupon for 50% off an oil change. I pull into the bay and they lift my hood and start doing stuff before I see any pricing. They go over the pricing and the cheapest oil change is $64, meaning $32 with the coupon. Of course it was too late to back out because they had already started doing stuff. I was expecting the oil change to be around $30 before the coupon. I just checked their website and sure enough there is a coupon for a $29.99 oil change. I think I got ripped off in that they raised prices because they knew people would be using the 50% off coupon. While the service was great, I don't think I'll be back. $62 for an oil change for the cheapest oil is ridiculous. I saw a deal at NTB after the fact for $20 oil change including tire rotation. read more

I do not recommend this place. They messed up my oil pan and they blamed other places that COULD'VE messed it up. I know it was them. They charge so much to replace it, I got it done somewhere else for less. Do not waste your time and money there, there are other places where they do it well and charge less. read more

This location at forest is pretty bad, I went twice for a state inspection. First time they said there was no inspector, come back in an hour. Second time they directed me to my lane and then the inspector came and said It is time for his linch break will have to come back in 30 min. I'm usually wary of oil change places. My wife used to work for the corporate office of one and told me the horror stories of inattention resulting in major damage. I can say "fast, friendly and professional," and they were, but everyone says that. The thing that really caught me was something my shipmates and I did when I was on a Navy firefighting team: We called out to each other what we were doing and what we'd done, so everybody knew where we were in the process and what was left to go. No, "oops, everybody thought someone else had taken care of it" here. If it had been done, everybody on the team knew it had been done, because they had heard it said. Took almost an hour to get in and out. Staff was EXTREMELY nice and respectful. The guy who helped me was thorough, not pushy and definitely followed a script (Herschel). However, trying to get my inspection after my oil change was so slow. Definitely not a place I would come during my lunch break and expect to get in and out. Had an issue with my car after leaving. Unfortunately, they didn't install my air filter back in properly, so I had to do that myself. I can't see myself returning, despite the nice staff. Time is money. read more
