This place is an absolute dumpster fire. Had my car towed there because the website said I could get an appointment the next day. When speaking to the guy at the front desk the following morning on the phone, the earliest they could possibly even take a look at my car was 1-month away, due to 'appointments' that obviously were not updated on the website. Not to mention, the guy speaking to me carried himself like I was lucky to just have him on the phone. Sure enough, took my car to a Midas right down the street and they looked at it within 2-days. I gave one star because I had to give something. I took my car in to firestone in March 2023 at Pleasant Hill, Iowa for a throttle body which cost me $800.00. October 2023 I returned with the same issue but was told it was the PCV valve. I paid $107.00 for this job and that was discounted because my car sat at the shop the entire day after a technician failed to notify me that it was done. Here we are February 2024 and my car is doing the same thing. At this point I am going to another mechanic and if I am told that those were never the issue(s) I will be suing for financial loss. Do not waste your time going to this location. I Scheduled a 9 o'clock appointment and was told the vehicle would be ready for a routine oil change by 12. At 12:20 I called and was told it would be another 30 minutes. I walked back to the store, I live a mile away, only to find my vehicle was in the same spot I had parked it this morning. The Manager was of little help and just offered up excuses that mean nothing to me. I scheduled an appointment for a reason! There is no customer service here. The manager lied to me when he said it would another 30 minutes! I am writing this is because this is the third time, and the last they have done this to me. The first time I had a similar experience with an oil change and was given the same BS excuses. I gave them a pass. The second time it took them two days to replace my tires! After driving out to this location with my flat tire I'm greeted by a sign on the door saying "we will be closed Sunday 11/5 sorry management". Stopped by this business thinking I might get a last minute gift of 4 New Jeep tires as a gift certificate for my grandsons jeep. Pulled in to their drive not sure if they were even open being Dec 24,. Before even stepping out my car a guy opens their door and yells for me to move and park before they can discuss anything. Wow the place looked dark but I thought I'd walk up to the door where I could see their hours. Nope didn't get the chance before this ill representative for any company made himself known. Very Poor Customer Service Earlier this week I called to make an appointment for an oil change and brake pad replacement. Megan asked me if I wanted to drop-off or wait. As I was dropping off, she said I didn't need an appointment, just drop it off and it would be done by the end of the day. I dropped the car off Friday just after noon. I was told it would likely be ready by the end of business that day, but if not, definitely by mid-day Saturday. It wasn't ready Friday, which was fine, and I was told Saturday afternoon "at the latest." It wasn't ready Saturday either, I was told "Sunday by the end of the day at the latest." Well it's Sunday and it's still not ready. When asked when, in fact, it would be ready Megan replied "You can come get it right now!" So now after having kept my car all weekend I still have to take it somewhere else to get a seemingly simple oil change and brake pad replacement. read more

OMG!!! They worked me in and fixed a flat tire on Memorial Day! They were so kind, welcoming and accommodating. Very nice people.

I would like to provide an addendum to my previous review. After eventually replacing the battery and alternator, they had one of their "master technicians" look at what was wrong as the battery light was still coming on. He concluded that there was something wrong with the electrical system of my car that was beyond the scope of repairs that Firestone can do. He suggested that I take it to a shop that specializes in these kind of car issues. They ended up having my car for about three days, and I expressed to the manager, George, that this was a huge inconvenience and essentially turned my life upside down. There was a silver lining to this whole experience, which is as follows: he ended up comping about two-thirds of the repair work due to the fact that it was not correctly and completely finished the first time I tried to pick it up, and because they kept my car for the whole weekend. Therefore, while I am not overjoyed with Firestone as a company, this was a small bright spot in the midst of this experience that deserves to be shared. read more

I got a flat tire and called ahead to ask if I could bring my car by to get a new tire installed. AJ was very professional and courteous. He offered that I could give them the wheel and keep the donut on my car for the next 24 hours while they receive the new tire and install it for me. Kept waiting to hear about my car, my lease plan had already approved the tune up. Lease Plan finally called the place and the manager didn't even know which car it was, or what work needed to be done on it. This was 3pm. If I could give them no stars I would. I live very close to this location and I had a flat, unfortunately one of the nuts were stripped and I couldn't get it off myself. I drove down the street, with my flat. All I needed was 15min tops for someone to take that nut off. The "manager" with his ponytail was very rude and told me that if I didn't have an appointment it would be a 2-3 day wait. I certainly understand that and if it was said with a little more compassion and less snotty ness I would definitely not be writing this review! I stood outside the shop for 3 hours. This place has very poor customer service compared to other Firestone stores we have used. They have not understood and followed through on the service we had asked for. We eventually paid 1800$ to fix power steering only to drive away and the problem started up again within days. The car is back in and again we are having problems with communication. On saturday we are told bring it in tomorrow and we will look at it, only to arrive and be told they will not be able to look at it! read more

I took my car in for service that included an oil change. When I got my car back, it was more than leaking oil, it was hemorrhaging oil. I'm still cleaning up the oil on my garage floor. I took it back it to have them repair the damage they had done. When I got my car back again (after 2 days), it was still leaking oil! I feel as though this location was trying to get $$$ from me for NO REASON. Beware SCAMMERS.. Especially on expensive tires I bought that had a 60,000 mile warranty on them, and they were PNLY Driven 45,000 miles. Perfect treading, no balding on them.. Beware the term "Cupping". This is how they say u need new tires, but can't see anything wrong with them. They say it's internal. And they told me it was ALL 4 of my tires that needed to b replaced. I barely drive this car, as I travel for work and it stays parked at the airport most of the week. When I called them out on bluff. Arrived just before closing. Low inflation light was on. Joseph took wonderful care of us. He checked each tire and inflated each to the appropriate amount. This young man is a gem, very friendly, efficient, and competent. He gave us instructions about the warning light and gave us other valuable information. Where a lot of employees might be more worried about getting their day over with, Joseph took all the time needed and did so with a cheerful attitude. This place just lost my business forever. I had an appointment to get snow tires put on my car and rearranged my whole day to be there first thing. When I showed up on they said their "compressor was broken" and they couldn't service my car. No call, no heads up...nothing. So I rescheduled for 3 weeks later (their earliest appointment). When I showed up today (first thing in the morning) for that appointment, they said that they sold the tires I ordered to someone else and couldn't "get me in" for another two weeks. Again, no call, no warning. I rearranged my entire day to make this appointment and I showed up and all I got was "sorry". No offer to make it right, nothing. So rude! Steve is especially terrible! I forgot to give them my tire key. And at first he said he would locate it. I told him 3x where it was. It is easily visible and all he had to do was reach over to the passenger side and grab it. He said he'll call me if he needs more help locating it. He calls me back refusing to look for it and says if I want the service finished I have no choice "because of covid". So my car is not going to be ready in time for me to go to work now. And I've now paid for 5 Ubers to get one service done. And three of them are because this dude Steve is too lazy to grab my wheel lock from my passenger seat. Hopefully he isn't as lazy about actually putting on the tires. But I feel I have no choice but to continue with the service. I need new tires in this snow. I do NOT recommend this place especially for a young woman to take her car. My brake fluid was dry and the brakes weren't working. I had my vehicle towed to Firestone since they are open on Sundays. They immediately told me it was the master cylinder and I had to buy new rotors. I decided to follow a friends recommendation and take it to another mechanic. The second mechanic informed me my rotors were fine and that Firestone must not have even looked under my car. Instead my engine mount was sagging and worn the right brake line. Firestone tried to charge me almost three times what the repairs actually were and it wouldn't have fixed the problem. My car is working fine now no thanks to Firestone. It's disappointing when an auto repair shop tries to take advantage of a woman in need of vehicle repairs. read more

I had bought a lifetime alignment from them for a car. Only to find out they had their alignment machine calibrated incorrectly. So I had to buy 2 new tires. These guys are super shady. Don't trust them. Due to proximity, I sent my wife in to get a flat repaired and they told her the tire could not be repaired and she'd need to buy 4 new tires. Really? We took the SUV over to Costco and they repaired it for free (because that's where we originally bought the tires). Costco confirmed that we would only have to buy two tires if the tire couldn't be repaired (but it was), and if we didn't want to do that we could buy a used on even tho it's not ideal. This Firestone is not trust worthy. I can't stand these establishments that think it's ok to straight up lie to people. read more

December 26, 2014... Got a flat. Left my wheel and tire at Firestone on S Colorado (Glendale). Staff said it would be ready in 60 minutes. 4 hours later, staff looks at my tire, yeah, agree I needed a new on after puncturing the sidewall on a curb during the Dec 26 '14 snowstorm. Got quote for a new tire. Wow! Called Discount Tire on Colfax, $100 less than Firestone. I was "out the door" at Discount within 15 minutes with a new tire $100 cheaper than Firestone. Continental Tire 255/45r18 extreme contact 103y. Never again will I give this Firestone shop my business. Got a canned response from Firestone... I have no interest in continuing a discussion regarding this Firestone's untimely customer service. Too little, too late. I originally went to this Firestone about 2 years ago to get new tires and an alignment on my car. The service then was great and I got a lifetime alignment package so I can take my car back anytime to get it done. I recently took my car there for my first lifetime alignment and an oil change as well. They called me a few hours after I left my car and said that I needed new struts (my car only has 65,000 miles on it) and new tires as well. They made it sound very convincing that I needed all of this work done and when I asked how much it would be they said around $2,200. They assumed (because I am a woman) that I would just say go ahead and do it, not big deal! But I told them to just do the oil change and alignment because I wanted to have my friend (who has his own car shop) look at it to make sure. When he looked at it there was absolutely nothing wrong with the shocks, but I did need new tires because the ones that Firestone put on 2 years ago were already worn out! And I don't even drive that much! They totally tried to take advantage of me for not knowing too much about cars and I will never trust them from now on. I would not recommend going here. read more

Boy watch your wallet at this place! I had snow tires for my daughter's car delivered here from Tirerack.com, one of the installation locations recommended on the website near me so I had a price quote for the installation. Initial bill was almost three times the online quote. They added $12/tire lifetime balance and rotation, which was listed as an OPTIONAL $10 in the online quote. I told the guy I didn't want this since it's included in the car warranty but he said it's included and I have to have it. i said give me my tires I'll go somewhere else at which point he said ok I didn't have to have it. Then TPMS was quoted as $6/tire IF NEEDED and he was charging me $8 but he said he wouldn't charge me if my tires didn't have it. Of course he initially tried to charge me for it until I pointed out my car monitors the tires without the sensor. In the end I got the quoted price but I do not trust this firestone dealer and would NEVER return. Not something you want to be feeling when you're driving away in your daughter's car. I wished I had followed my initial instincts and just taken my car and tires to discount tire where they are straightforward and honest. read more

I was sold a Lifetime Alignment program from this location about 4 years ago. What they never tell you is that it's next to impossible to get an alignment done on a walk-in basis, or within 4 hours even if you make an appointment (or that you'll probably need to come back because it's not done right the first time). I stopped going to this location in favor of the Wadsworth location and the one up in Boulder, but I figured I'd give it another shot today as it's been a few years and surely things have changed. The appointment calendar on the website is pretty useless, as every date is grayed out for the entire month of December and January. But wait, there's this nice little banner on the side that says "Not seeing an appointment availability? Walk-ins welcome!". I decided to do just that this morning at 9am. I figured since there is a blizzard that there should be some cancellations, or it just wouldn't be that busy. I pulled into the parking lot and saw maybe 3 other cars (normally it's full when I drive by) and an open bay or two. I waited at the counter for (an actual) 5 minutes before being informally and coldly greeted. I could already tell it wasn't going to go well, but I decided to try and brush it off. I smiled and explained that I have a Lifetime Alignment and that I'd like to drop my vehicle off to get an alignment done today. He basically treated me like I should have known better and told me there is no availability today and that they're "slammed" for the next two days. I mentioned how I saw that "walk-ins welcome" banner on the website and then was told "normally yes, but not today". I didn't notice that asterisk I guess. As soon as I expressed disappointment, he shut down any attempt at offering customer service basics, like trying to look for a cancellation, or simply seeing what he could do considering I had made the drive already, etc. Too bad too because I was interested in some other services, but never again. Stay away from this place they don't care about the customer just making money. Took my car in for seat belt issue and a blinker not working. Decided not to get the seat belt fixed and did not know they didn't fix the blinker as they charged me $20. The blinker wasn't fixed and they used the excuse that there was moisture in the unit. THE UNIT WORKED EXCEPT FOR THE BLINKER BUT THEY WERE TOO LAZY TO FIX IT!!!! Don't go there they are a rip off and customer service nightmare!!!! Also they put you on hold for over 8 minutes before they can help you but respond to Yelp much quicker....go figure. Dropped our car off for an alignment. After picking it up and paying $90, half a mile down the road we noticed the alignment was still way off. Tried calling them to look at it again but they said their day was full. Since our day was busy anyway, we had to drop it off at a different Firestone the next day. Turns out this place on Colorado blvd didn't even adjust the car and charged us anyway! I either leave my car or just go across the street to Panera and eat breakfast and use their wifi. Delivered my car at 10 AM with a promise of return at 2 PM, with four new tires, oil change, filter cleaned and alignment. Car not redelivered until 6:30 PM. All afternoon and dinner plans trashed. It turns out that the delivery time was a deception from the beginning: two mechanics had departed the prior day and the new tires had to come from a remote warehouse. I am worried that I ought to check the entire work order - especially the alignment - at another, more reliable, facility. read more

The battery in our 3-year old auto was close to death. You know that ugly wa-wa sound when you start the engine. I had 2 choices: 1. Get it replaced under warranty for free. Except for the minor part about the car not starting on Sunday, nor on Monday (it is our only car) and then taking it to the dealer (10+ miles from our house) and leaving it for a day. 2. Driving 1.1 miles and paying $170 USD. The car starts up perfectly now. They took only 50 minutes to do the work. Very friendly, competent service. And, they have an excellent magazine selection. I had the Wheel bearings go out on my 2007 Toyota Corolla en route from Albuquerque to Denver. I called around and I was quoted $1100 from Thieven-son (Stevenson) Toyota. I had the repairs performed here for $350, and I received 10% off for applying for a Fire Stone credit card. Overall I found the staff to be nice, and the front end traffic to be really busy. The shop is clearly doing well as the service bays are full and there is often a wait to get a car in for service. I spent about 5 hours in this shop waiting for my car to be completed. Although the shop subscribes to DirecTV and an effort was made to find neutral magazines with mass appeal, I was pretty bored the time I was there. It would be nice if the shop offered transportation to either the Cherry Creek Mall 1/2 a mile away OR the RTD station to go elsewhere while car work is being performed. I have bad ankles and walking long distances is hard for me. Perhaps a map of things to do in the lobby would be nice with listed walking distances would be nice. WiFi in the waiting room to surf the web while waiting would also be nice. These are inexpensive additions that focus on guests. It's probably worth looking in to. read more

You will get better service at Shotgun Willies for your car, across the street. First - I've been using Firestone in Arizona, California and Colorado for many years. Always have received first rate Customer Service. Until now. Before I could get off the lot to my vehicle after, I noticed the radio was not working at all after having the battery replaced. Seemed to be a "logical" issue. There is where the problems started. JASON - the most horrendous example of a "Manager" - saw me walk out of the shop after paying my $1,000 for repairs, walk to my car, start it, then come right back in the shop after noticing the radio did not work, at all. JASON SAID - "OH WE DON'T DO THAT HERE." I'm confused - my radio worked before you worked on my car as did the remote start. Not to mention he was as rude as can be. Explained very calmly after being attacked verbally by JASON that the radio worked, as did the aftermarket "remote" start before dropping it off for service. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. Called JASON - explained I expected everything to work just as before I had dropped it off. JASON became extremely hostile again and explained it "was not his problem." Yes JASON it is your problem, as the Manager. Your shop worked on my car and the radio and remote start don't' work - fix it. Seems to be an easy lesson in Customer Service. JASON - Your lack of empathy for customers whom you have fucked over and broken their car further and then making it our problem is a major RED FLAG for Firestone Management. IF YOU WALK INTO THE SHOP AND SEE JASON - WALK OUT. TAKE YOUR CAR TO CHIC-FIL-A.
