Came in for a tire installation. Was told it was $35 for all four and I thought "Hmm. That sounds wrong but I'll deal with the disappointment tomorrow". And now, here I am... Explaining to George that I called last night with all that information. "Here's my $75 for what I thought was $35, buddy!!" Great job communicating, guys!! Much appreciated =| Their cost for tire installation is significantly higher than the small businesses around you, like Sal's. $18 per tire. George is a nice guy, but I can't help but feel like I was bait-and-switched. ... Im leaving this place with AT LEAST 5 cups of coffee and a couple of those fake plants (for compensation). read more

As someone who has worked customer service in several forms, it surprises me that people in a position of quite literally, customer service, still treat the people who bring the business money with disrespect. One cannot assume that someone who has a question is always going to be asking something that will take longer than a second. It's not obvious where someone goes to get air for tires here, and the individual I tried asking was snappy and rude the minute I rolled my window down to ask him something! I can acknowledge he was with a customer, but that's not a reason to respond to someone in the way he did. Besides, you're outside, alone, with a distinct uniform on, all your garages are closed, and you don't have a line of people waiting to ask or demand something of you. A quick pivot from talking to someone else needing your help is not too much to ask, at least I think. Like everyone else on here, I should have read the reviews. You all need some team member support or something, like come on...your employees shouldn't be that way. read more

Arrived at 7:30 am SATURDAY per my reservation for an oil change and brake inspection. Ron checked me in saying it shouldn't be too long as I was second in "the cue". I said good because I need the car back at 3:00. I called at 1:30 for an update. They had yet to do ANYTHING but says I was next. Got a call at 2:50 saying it was ready. Ubered back over. I was told it was all set. I asked if brakes were inspected. Ron said "they look fine" I get home and change oil light still on. I returned money to have them check light. They didn't reset the system. Standard procedure. My brakes Co tinge to squeak. I showed Ron my invoice with no Brake Inspection line item. I asked him why? He said they ran out of time. So he lied on Saturday. He DID NOT inspect my brakes and I'll have to set aside more time for an ACTUAL brake inspection. NOT AT FIRESTONE. read more

Firestone corporate has been pretty good about creating online coupon promotions pretty much all year. Their latest one got me to go ahead and bring my car in. It was for an oil change and tire rotation for $16. Not bad at all. My total was $20.58 after tax and filter disposal fee. They get knocked some stars because after I get called back to pick up my car I find out they didn't rotate my tires at all. I mark my tires for my own benefit and they were in the same position. After asking them whether they needed more time and then telling them my tires had not been rotated I got the "Uhhh... you didn't ask us to rotate your tires". I had to point out my coupon and work order to them again. When I came back the 2nd time the work had been completed. Not a bad price but annoying that you have to verify the work. read more

My low tire pressure light had come on and I figured it was just due to the weather changing. I went to air up my tires and when I got done I heard a hissing noise. After some investigation I found that I had ran over screw. I usually go to discount tire but knew I wouldn't make it there before their 6pm close so I asked Siri to find me a place that was open until 7. I came to Firestone. The guy quoted me an hour but it only took about 35 minutes. It was only $20 too. All in all I would recommend this place. read more

I came here after popping TWO of my tires on a SUNDAY. I've never been the BEST driver but I came in so frantic after not being able to change my tires out (turns out the last place torqued the bolts holding it in to like 800 lbs!) They helped me calm down, and gave us a tool to try on our own but we still couldn't get it to MOVE. So after having my car towed here (no appointment at all mind you) they found a time to squeeze me in. When they told me I'd have to get my tires replaced, they told me whatever price I could find they would match. Even from a different manufacturer! I got TWO tires put back on for about $200. They rotated the good ones still and moved them both to the front so the car would be driving even. They inspected everything and gave me a choice to see if I wanted alignment/other fluids changed or refilled. They were also really honest and said nothing was imminent and the shocks/car would be fine if I opted not to get the extra stuff. Since I hadn't budgeted all this car drama and don't know a lot I decided not to but really appreciate feeling like they wanted to help and educate me and never once did I feel patronized or silly (which a lot of places tend to make me feel) They were awesome. read more

Have a lifetime warranty on front wheel alignment. Had it for years. Purchased it with tires a few years ago. Had to switch Shops because the Firestone on Buckley AfB closed. Had been going to shop since then, usually get alignment and oil change. I was informed by the manager that they would put regular oil in my vehicle. I asked him to check my records I always chose this over synthetic without any problems. He said that's type recommended by " their " computer. I stopped by this Firestone on Tuesday and placed an order for 4 new tires. I was told they couldn't install them until Saturday morning. I've been driving on my spare tire (donut) for 4 days only to find out that they never ordered my tires. No reason or apology was provided. Unacceptable. We left the house at 830 this morning to drop our car off at Firestone for a standard checkup. They opened at 9am and we were the first ones in as they unlocked the door, although there was another customer inside and we were not sure where he came from. We get a call around 4:25 saying they didn't have time to get to the car. We went to get the car had to wait for someone to acknowledge us and ask "What can I do for you fellas?" We said we're here for the keys. The man handed them over without saying anything. No apology for not looking at the car (they didn't apologize on the phone either). Bad customer service!! Had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow at 9a for a full vehicle inspection. I called to confirm The details today and the lady who answered the phone couldn't find me in the system. She asked me if I was sure I scheduled for tomorrow at this location which of course I did. I then told her to look me up by my phone number since she simply couldn't suggest that option herself but that didn't help at all as she still couldn't find me scheduled in the system. This store's techs are incompetent they set an appointment that they would not honor because they were too busy. He also told me they don't adjust camber in an alignment which I don't know what kind of alignment that would be at all. I took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment and new brakes. After picking up my car from Firestone, it was shaking intensely any time I exceeded 55 mph on the highway. I called back Firestone to get the error corrected and the Service Cameron Migues was anything but helpful. He didn't work with me to try to find a time to get my car back in or get the issue corrected. I repeatedly explained my situation and that my schedule didn't allow me to leave my car at Firestone for another day this week yet he refused to find a solution to correct the problem. I have been a long-time, loyal customer of Firestone and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service to fix an issue that was created by Firestone. read more

I have been in Denver for 11 years and have exclusively used the Firestone on Colorado for all my tire needa. Today I took my car in for an appointment that I made yesterday. The guy didn't add the appointment to the books but they got me in anyways so cool that gives them the one star. I received a call from a woman who asked about replacing a lug nut and that it will cost $113 to replace due to labor cost and I told her not to replace it because I wasn't planning on spending that much today. When I arrived get my car I was told that no work had been done on my car at all because I don't want to replace the nut. If the woman on the phone would of told me the correct Information I would lf pay the money and this would be a completely different review. Now I have to go to waste another afternoon and pay. Different shop to do the work that would have been done if someone who knew what they were talking about would have called me. I went to lunch with a friend while I was waiting in my car and he said he needed 4 new tires and wanted snow tires for the winter and I convinced to go to you. I will now tell my friend to go somewhere else and I will no longer be a returning customer. read more

If I could give this Firestone a zero I would. I went to the Firestone on Colorado blvd in Denver Colorado in June to purchase 4 new tires. It took a day to get the job done! That was Saturday on Monday upon leaving for work I noticed my left front tire was low, I put air in the tire and went on my way. That evening I returned to Firestone and spoke with someone about the problem. I was instructed to keep an eye on the tire. Wednesday morning the tire was low again. I returned to Firestone and dropped my car for repair. I received a call a couple of hours later that the tire had been fixed. I picked up the car and was informed by the manager, Jason, that I had received a "new" tire at no charge. That was June... fast forward to August 30 when I get a call for my daughter in law that the car has a flat! And the spare was not in the trunk. It's the left front tire... I called Firestone on Colorado no one can tell me what happened to the spare but Jason will replace it. The car was towed to a different Firestone in Denver with a hole in the tire. The determination was made that the patch applied in June had failed. This is news to me as Jason told me I'd been given a new tire. Liz at the new Firestone (she's awesome btw) stayed late to wait on the car and repair the tire. I went to the Colorado blvd Firestone to get an explanation and possibly an apology I got neither. Jason was useless... he doesn't know what happened to my spare, he doesn't know how the patch failed because it was put in by his master mechanic but he was quick to point out the tire was holding air because it's August the patch was applied in June. But I'm June this same disheveled manager told me I been given a new tire. He's "working" on replacing my spare and his only response to the patch was "what do you want me to say...). We knew better than to take our car to another Firestone but needed a quick oil change and this was the most convenient at that time...arghhh. While I can't complain about the always cheap oil change, they notified us of over $1,000 of repairs "needed" to our well-maintained vehicle. They said we needed repairs to the radiator. It's brand new. They said it needed new hoses. They are brand new. They said it should be flushed. And on and on. Just like every other trip to Firestone. In addition, they rotated our tires, and now the alignment is way off. Firestone has messed up the alignment of every car we've taken in, at multiple locations, and can't seem to fix it even after multiple visits. I understand the mechanics of tire rotation and know that alignment can get thrown off, but Firestone is in the tire business and should know to test or fix the alignment. I took my car here to get a vehicle inspection as part of the requirements to be an Uber driver and I will never go back. First of all, I was basically laughed out on the first visit, thinking I could just get the check as a walk-in. The guy who helped me was very rude, but I was thinking he was having a bad day since he "only had two guys working in the back." Upon coming back for the $23 inspection I found out that my brand new civic had some major repairs due. Seemed fishy. They printed a report that said my battery was almost dead, my breaks were measuring at 3mm and my tire tread was measuring at a 3(not sure of the measurement used here). I thought this seemed wrong since I had gotten my oil changed at the honda dealership 5 weeks prior and upon double checking my report from Kuni realized that I had been had by Firestone. My breaks measured 7mm at Kuni as did my tires. They definitely didn't wear out in 5 weeks' time. I was so unimpressed with the overall service of Firestone that I will not be going back. read more

I spent / wasted three mornings at this below average Firestone. Prior to visiting this location, I have been a faithful customer of Firestone for tires, breaks, oil changes - NEVER again, will I go this location. I would rather walk in negative zero weather than bring my car to them. The management is disrespectful, rude, and degrading. They are overpriced in comparison to others in the immediate surrounding area. Visit #1: Chief Complaint- shaking on the front end when stopping and or slowing down on the highway. Diagnosed Problem (Per Mechanic - who is certified)- alignment, rotors to be machined, tire repair, will need breaks by winter and possibly new rotors Work Completed- apparently machined rotors (not very well and incorrectly), alignment completed (not accurately), repaired tire Issue- After speaking with the front desk employee regarding the recommended work for the car - and reviewing the options presented - it was concluded that I would have the front rotors machined, have an alignment, and also the tire repaired. I had my front rotors "machined" only to find out that the mechanic who completed the job did not "machine" them correctly- leaving ridges on the rotors which caused major vibrations- once a rotor has been machined, it cannot be "undone" or repaired. While driving on the highway after visit one - it felt as if the tires on the car were going to fall off. Immediately, I called the repair shop and was told to bring the car back the following day. The mechanics - well, I am not a "car person" but I am sure that I would notice something like a slanted steering wheel on a vehicle that I just aligned WITH A COMPUTER. Not rocket science. Visit #2 Chief Complaint- shaking on the front end when stopping and or slowing down on the highway, "H" on the steering wheel not straight after alignment Diagnosed Problem- adjust alignment Work Completed- alignment Issue- It was determined that the alignment was once again off - I was told (and provided paperwork) that they fixed it. Driving on the highway following the repair - the tires still were shaking as if they were going to fall off and the During the same visit, I had an alignment completed - the correction was not accurate as the "H" on my Honda steering wheel was not straight - it was worse than when I originally came into the shop - not encouraging at all. Again I called the store, and was told that I should bring the vehicle back and it would be better if the car was evaluated that day given they had someone going on vacation and they would be shorthanded... Seriously ?!?!?! Since when is the vacation scheduling the customers issue - look at better staffing and hour allocation for the front desk and the mechanics. Visit #3 Chief Complaint- shaking on the front end when stopping and or slowing down on the highway Diagnosed Problem- Machining the rotors was not effective Work Completed - NONE Issue- After requesting / insisting that someone drive the car on the highway to assess the issue - it was determined by the front desk employee Patrick that the rotors that were machined earlier in the week were not an effective repair. After an extensive verbal conversation with Patrick (who is by far the rudest and most VERBALLY degrading employee at any Firestone that I have ever been to) who informed me that the rotors needed to be replaced and that when rotors are machined - it is not a guarantee that it will correct the problem. After questioning him - and unclear as to why I was not told that there was a possibility that the machining of the rotors would not correct the problem from the beginning, I was informed that they provide the economical options for customers - but not ALL of the options. Between the time wasted, time off work, and pure frustration - I would have paid for the entire car to have new rotors and breaks from the beginning. I could probably have overlooked all of that - if Patrick were actually pleasant, kind, and not the rudest employee that I have ever encountered at a Firestone. The accumulation of issues, wasted time and money, in addition to being disrespected and degraded when speaking with the employee - I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. read more

Had a CEL that I self-diagnosed accurately as an exhaust sensor that feeds info to the fuel injection system. The guys there reluctantly installed the new parts. The parts would have cost about $350 with them, I got them for $120 at Autozone. They would not warranty the job since I brought my own parts, which I had no beef with. The part I had a beef with is that they did not put my car back together after installing the sensors. A clamp to the air cleaner (which had to be disconnected to install the parts) was not reinstalled properly and a hose to the same air cleaner housing was not reconnected. Guys, don't be a hater if somebody is smart enough, or gutsy enough to try their own solutions to a problem. Do the job right regardless in order to get a solid review. I may go there again, but know I'll have to recheck their work afterwards to be sure the job got done right. read more

My car had a message that the engine was over heating. I put coolant in myself and the message would not go away. My engine fan continued to rev and make a terrible sound, so I didn't drive it in fear of making the problem worse. I called Firestone and explained the problem. The gentleman I spoke to said that immediately, I should just have them "run the codes" and they could reset them. I wasn't really sure what that meant, but that option was free of charge. He said that often times, messages/codes in the car can be inaccurate. I made an appointment and brought my car in so they could help me. I was helped immediately and everyone was kind. Bring a female, I'm nervous anytime I need something fixed with my car. I'm afraid people will offer expensive services because they assume I don't know anything about cars. Long story short, they ran my codes and reset them. It's been over a week and my car has been driving perfectly with no issues. I'm grateful that they offered me a service that didn't cost anything. And I'm grateful they gave me other options in case the code running didn't fix the issue. I would recommend this location to everyone because the customer service was great, I was able to get in and get out in less than 20 minutes, and I appreciate when businesses are straight up and not shady. read more

I set an appointment to have my alignment looked at and arrived a few minutes before my 4 pm on Friday appointment time. At 5:30, they finally took the car in. 15 minutes later, they came out and said it needed an alignment. When I asked how long it would take, since I was already there for two hours and expected to only be an hour, I was told it would take about 15 minutes. SO, it took a grand total of two hours to do 30 minutes of work. It appears that setting an appointment doesn't actually do anything, so just be aware of that when you're getting service at this location. read more

My tire had a sidewalk puncture and couldn't be repaired. I really only could afford at the time 1 tire but I have all wheel drive and at the least replaced 2 tires. Well the following Saturday my 'replaced' tire was flat. I was Livid! FORTUNATELY they have a "we make it right or it's free" policy so I eventually got 2 more tires free. I too have mixed feelings of this business. They do not stand behind their work. Sure they'll give you a discount if the repair they did a week earlier fails but they are a corporate entity focused on separating you and your money! The manager was accommodating, but it's obvious they're busy (for some reason... location probably) and one customer isn't all that important. Stick with a local shop if possible, search Yelp if you need to, a lot of other mechanics would certainly more appreciate your business. P.S. A large wrench was left under my hood and the interior had grease marks on the door armrest when I picked up my truck. read more

After a very scary experience at Sears Auto Center in Cherry Creek, I decided to give Firestone on Colorado Blvd a try...and boy am I glad I did! They have wonderful customer service, and I always feel like a priority and well taken care of when I come in for routine maintenance. Also, I really appreciate that their estimates are accurate and that they are realistic about the amount of time it will take for my services, so that I can plan my day accordingly. read more

I purchased a warranty on four expensive tires for my Volvo XC 90. I had a slow leak in one tire. I use to take my business to the Firestone at Buckley Air Force Base, but it closed so I decided to try the Firestone on South Colorado. The manager George refused to honor the warranty, instead trying to sell me for new tires. Outrageous! I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

They charged me $500 to ruin my car I brought my car in for an oil change and was told I needed to replace my brakes and rotors. I thought it seemed odd as my brakes had never made a noise or had any issue; however, with 35,000 miles on the car I figured I would need to replace them sooner or later anyway (and it of course made me nervous to drive on "bad brakes"). Since Firestone has done the work my brakes now squeal loudly and grind once the car has been driven for about 15 minutes. I have brought the car back in twice and they say everything is fine and they can't find anything wrong with it. Yet the brakes continue to squeal on my car that had absolutely no problems prior to allowing them to replace the brakes (for $500). They told me to bring it back on a Saturday so they could have the car for longer. Like many people I have a hard time coming up with a spare 10 minutes and certainly don't have time to bring my car in 4 times to get a brake job done correctly. After reading other reviews I am highly dubious whether the brakes really needed to be replaced in the first place as they seem to repeatedly suggest unnecessary repairs at this location. I'm not surprised by the low rating for this place. I got a new battery and an oil change at the one in Broomfield last February. My battery continually started dying in November. I took it in to this location on Monday to get a new battery. I waited over 3 hours for them to "charge" the dead battery so they could check my alternator. There was nothing wrong with the alternator and they said my battery was just fine so they were not going to replace it. "It was holding a charge and testing fine" Ya probably because you spent 3 hours charging it!?! None of this seems right to me. So here we are Thursday morning. I go out to the car and sure enough nothing. Did not even make a sound. So I took it back to get a new battery. My son and I walked to a store across the street and came back to a $40 dollar charge for the new battery that was supposed to be under warranty. WTF?!? They put a"bigger" battery in so had to charge me the difference. They never asked me just f#@&ing did it. What is wrong with these people. read more

Took a company work truck into Firestone because the tires were purchased there. Vehicle has been vibrating at freeway speed's ever since installation, asked for an oil change tire rotation and balance and flat repair. When I came to pick up the vehicle nothing was mentioned about any issues. After taking my vehicle on freeway for the first time, of course it still had vibration issues. Because of six years of working in the tire industry I figured I'd take a look myself to see what's going on... tires were not rotated as they said they were, and right front wheel was obviously counterbalanced by their amateur technician Joseph. This became very frustrating as I spent six years of my life training 16-year-olds to be able to complete these very simple tasks. Unfortunately I'm stuck servicing it there as it is a fleet vehicle for my company. When I called to find out if they ignored my request because of there being a bent wheel, the technicians answer was we left your better tread on the rear for safety. So apparently I'm never supposed to rotate my brand new tires. I'll let their other ratings speak for their service, and I advise anyone with tire issues to go to discount tire and have it done right the first time. read more
