Firescam is what this place should be called. My first complaint is that this location didn't honor my warranty on brand new wheels I got from them when they wore smooth after about ~5k miles. After that, they started making stuff up about my car that would cost hundreds of dollars to fix, but when taken to a second mechanic correctly identified nothing was wrong. Other locations have done similar malpractice where they've charged me for a repair and then neither accurately diagnosed the problem or actually fixed it. Finally, this location flip flops on telling you what they've actually done to your car. I went in for an easy tire rotation, and when I got my car back my steering wheel was misaligned. I called to see if they could fix the alignment, and they said they only had one guy who could do the alignment, and I'd have to wait. When I came back on the date I was told to, they said the one guy still was out but it was fine because the manager already did the alignment. At this point I gave up with these guys and went elsewhere where my problems were quickly and actually fixed. Unironically my car runs better since I've sworn off ever going to Firestone again. ZERO STARS!! It'd be preferable to get your car towed to a real mechanic than to go here!!! read more

Do not come here, came for a simple tire replacement, they stripped one of my studs, also got an alignment done which led to my tires being worn significantly faster than usual, when i asked about the warranty they told me it was voided due to something that was their fault. functions better as a parts shop, mechanics are clearly lacking experience. read more

Terrible customer service. Walked in after lunch to see about getting my tire patched. The rep at the front desk couldn't be bothered to even make eye contact. He said I could make an appointment for Friday-3 days later because he had two appointments coming in. I decided to drive to Mojave and got my tire patched in less than 5 minutes. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL place to get your car serviced do NOT TRUST THEM. I brought my 2009 Honda Civic in to be serviced on Friday July 29th for my road trip to Arizona and was told that l needed tires, an engine gasket and an alignment which came out to $1979.79. I noticed when l picked it up there was a high pitched squeaky sound like metal rubbing together. For this reason I did not take my road trip. My car never made such a sound like this before. When l took it back to Firestone on Tuesday August 5th to have the action corrected a whole new report was given to me that l needed break pads and l have a transmission that is leaking. Jose who assisted me on both occasions was rude and unprofessional and tried to explain to me that the first inspection was performed by someone who was not paying attention. Now l am forced to take my car to a dealership due to Firestone's neglect. I found out that they are at 3.8 stars on Google and 2.8 stars on Yelp. I would give them zero stars if l could after my visit there they don't disserve one star from me. read more

Called to drop vehicle off to get new breaks. Was told it would need all day to replace so we decided it would be best if I dropped it off as soon as they opened. Dropped it off in the morning and it's been sitting there for 7+ hours. Even if you sit in the waiting room it still doesn't get pulled into the garage for at least 3 hours. Parking lot is packed so it looks like they're overbooked and they'll get to you when they can get to you. Definitely not worth wasting your time. read more

When I inquired why they didn't bother to start working on my car at the appointment time or hour later for that matter. What rude people! I've called or stopped in sever times because it's convenient to work. I'm not sure why I bother. After you wait at the counter for someone to eventually get there (not working in the shop, god knows where he was) the 2 different people I've had 'help' me were both assholes. They act like you're bothering them and want you gone quick. 'Here's your quote get out'. I usually get faster response when I call, but same asshole customer service. This place would be out of business without GSA contracts or if there was ANY competition for this lame excuse for a repair shop. They don't care about you, if you come in or if you're pissed when you leave. If there's anything you need done that the hobby shop can do, bring it there! Those guys are awesome! Brought my car in for an oil change and when i picked up my car my driver side window was spider webbed. When i brought it up to them, they said that it was like that when i brought it in. I'm sure i would notice my DRIVER SIDE window spider webbed. Then after that they told me i would have to come back another day to talk to the manager and then they walked away from me and didn't want to talk to me anymore. This place is horrible. DOES NOT HONOR COUPONS, CHANGES PRICE DURING PICK UP I had been taking my car to this Firestone Location for years. Their website year round offers a coupon for a full synthetic oil change. I have always printed out and brought in this coupon. Last week my wife took her vehicle into this location and presented them with the coupon which they accepted. Upon pick up the associate refused to honor the coupon claiming that he did not see an option for it on the computer. This ended up making the oil change cost 20 dollars more. The associate despite her insistence kept refusing to change his mind despite her showing him the webpage as well as her original drop off receipt. After talking to corporate (who were extremely upset about a location not honoring their own coupons) they promptly reached out to the manager to get him to issue a refund, however he was stubborn and would not budge. I would highly avoid going here as they price they give you when you drop off vs pick up changes and you have no idea. I guarantee you I am not the first person they strong armed. I've used this Firestone location 4 or 5 times for my Dodge Dart SXT. Mainly for oil changes and inspections but every time I come in they roll the car in much sooner than expected and hand the keys back in nearly half the estimated wait time. The customer service and friendliness and knowledge of the professional staff make each visit as bearable as a auto shop visit can be. I come here for oil changes regularly. The staff is pleasant enough but they never have the right air filter for my jeep. I ask them to order t and they haven't after 3 oil change visits. While changing CTS-V upper and lower control arm bushings, and shocks and struts at the Auto Hobby Shop, a bolt broke when I was torquing a lower shock mount. I called Firestone to see if they could remove the broken bolt because I had a lot to do and needed help so I could keep moving forward with the repairs. I explained that I'd like to drop off the control arm and have the bolt removed while I continue repairing my car at the Auto Hobby Shop. The guy at Firestone said "that's what you get for using the Auto Hobby Shop". I had no idea what to say to that! I hung up. So I took the time I didn't have, drilled into the the bolt shank and used an easy-out to unscrew the remaining broken bolt shank. Firestone's comments insults the Auto Hobby Shop and every person that uses it. I still don't know how to reply to that without using profanity. If taken personally, I'm happy to offer a Pepsi challenge to that person, let's say automotive vehicle repairs and general maintenance with a dare for you to up it to aviation general maintenance and repair. I had to walk out when I was told, after waiting the standard 10 mins for him to get off the phone, that it would cost $99.00 and that I would have to leave the car for a day and a half for them to troubleshoot why I have a "service eng. soon light" Never once did he offer to read the code. I took my car in for a diagnostic and they checked my evap system. They left stuff uninstalled where they did the work and never called me back about a replacement hose which took me a 5 minute phone call to the dealer to find out about! I'm flabbergasted by the negative reviews about this Firestone location. I would like to refute the accusations made: Regarding the "rudeness" of the manager: Allan has always been very polite and helpful every time I've been to the store. In fact, he is usually the person standing there at the counter helping customers. I have not EVER seen him sit in the office and refuse to come out to speak with a customer. Regarding getting "screwed": I've purchased a full set of new tires from them two times so far and both times Allan made sure I got the best deal possible and did not EVER make me feel pressured to spend more money than what I could afford. I desperately needed my alignment adjusted the first time I bought tires and, instead of simply charging me for a one-time adjustment, he made sure to let me know about their lifetime adjustment special, which was less expensive than two one-time adjustments. Now they check my alignment every time I go in for tire rotation and adjust it if necessary. Regarding service times: "Stuff" happens. Sometimes a repair is more complicated than originally estimated. Sometimes they get busier than anticipated. This happens at all types of businesses. Have I ever had to wait longer than they projected? Yes, of course I have. BUT...I would rather wait longer for my service to be completed and know it was done CORRECTLY than have them rush to meet an estimated time of completion and receive shoddy work. All in all, I have been 100% satisfied with the customer service as well as the products and services I have received at this Firestone location. Thank you, Allan and crew!! Had my struts replaced, heard squeaking, took the car back. They told me the top mounts were loose and they tightened them. Drove the car for a day and the squeaking came back. Took the car back and they told me the struts were stripped from being over tightened and I needed all new struts. They would not take responsibility for over torquing the struts and they ended up breaking 3 week old struts. Told me it would be $595 to replace the struts even though I had them replaced 3 weeks earlier at Firestone in Lancaster for $275. read more

This was the absolute best service I have ever received! Completely honest and actually showed me what was causing my brake problems. After showing me they called all around the surrounding area until they found the part that I needed. Not to mention I was just stopping through Edwards AFB while I was PCSing to Northern California. The workers went above and beyond to help remove my wives car from a tow dolly and even helped reattach the car to the dolly well after their closing time. Came here with hopes to use my tire warranty to get new tires but apparently under pressurized tires causing improper wear makes the warranty VOID. Paid $186 for two front tires. Fair price and David P, the mechanic that works there was a huge help and disprelled a lot of the bad reviews on this site for lack of help and bad service. I had a screw in my tire, then I got screwed by these clowns. Defiantly a last resort. These guys are sad, and S L O W!!! They had me pay 10 minutes before the tire was even back on the vehicle. I'm sure that is to make the spread sheets and power point presentations look good up at the head office. An hour and fifty five minutes to patch a tire is pretty sad. Thanks for wasting my time, charging $20.44 to patch a tire. AAFES needs to look at this contract and maybe get somebody a little more customer service oriented out here.
