December 2024 we had four new Firestone tires installed and afterwards the tire pressure monitors for all four tires did not work. We brought it back, they charged 50.00 to check the sensor, said it was fixed, brought it home and still no pressure monitor. We brought it back and again 50.00 fee and no monitor. Fast forward May 25, 2025. One of the new tires bulges at the sidewall so returned to replace the defective tire. Again, "don't worry we fixed the tire monitor" and again, still totally non functional. Terrible tires, terrible service, and no response to problems. Emailed corporate and customer service is apparently in Mumbai. I have sent the same invoices, answers to questions and data three times now and the auto reply is that they can't see the answers I am sending them. read more

Dropped my car off for new brakes first thing in the morning in hopes it would be a quick drop off and pick up. After four hours, I finally decided to call to check up on the car and was told it was just about ready and to come pick it up. I was never given an estimate, nor did I give the okay to proceed at so price, and further more when I filled out the survey to request a call back I heard nothing. Not a great experience at all. SCAM ALERT!!! I dropped my car off to have a tire patched. Marquis who was working the counter said the patch is $32 and if I enrolled in Firestone care the patch is free. I asked how much of Firestone care? He said it's free you just have to sign up to qualify. I entered my name and SSN on a keypad. I get a call ten minutes later saying that I applied for a Firestone credit card and they just pulled mg credit and I was approved. I NEVER ASKED FOR OR WANTED MY CREDIT PULLED OR A F*CKING CREDIT CARD!!! Blatant fraud committed my Marquis. I'm sure employees get "kick backs" for getting people to sign up for a card. In addition I went to pick my car up 7 hours later and Marquis made up some bs story that I had a nail in my sidewall and all 4 tires need to be replaced for $2000 in a very poor attempt to sell me 4 tires. I took my car a week prior when I was having tire and alignment issues. They recommended a Tire rod change, new tire and alignment. I took the recommendation and agreed to the repair which was ultimately pricey. A couple days after I returned to have it looked at again because my traction control was picking up slipping on the tire that was worked on. while being in the shop I asked if they can take a look at my Thermostat as my check engine light was reading that issue. Dropped off the car and headed to work to get a call a couple hours later stating that I needed a whole new assembly on my Radiator fan for a total price of $800, on top of them not being able to fix the traction control issue and suggested i head to my dealership, AND that my battery was dead - "we had to jump start the car" . I turned down the repair and showed up later to pick up the car. After receiving my car the sales stated that it started up no problems, I've never had a battery issue before this. Looking at the car in the parking lot I could see that they dumped all of the coolant. They left a mess of it and didn't bother to notify me that it was now COMPLETLY empty. I myself Filled this up from AutoZone next door since it was left empty. If I driven on this in hot South Florida I could have OVERHEATED my Motor easily. Today I took it for a second opinion only for the mechanic to say that after every diagnostic they ran they can see NO ISSUES with the thermostat, Fan or assembly. Everything runs fine. These guys just throw anything at you to get your money and if not I have no doubt in my mind they will ruin your car or set you up to ruin you car. I have been a firestone customer for YEARS to see the service is this horrible where you as a customer are made to feel like the problem is disgusting . Avoid this place at all costs. read more

My complaint is a simple one, why waste your time taking appointments if they are absolutely no value. My time is valuable much like most people and if I take the time to make an appointment two weeks in advance, I would expect that my job would be done at that time, or I would have some priority over people that are just walking in at the same time. I made a reservation and it was confirmed on the app for an appointment. I showed up at the store and was told that even though I had an appointment I wasn't going to be able to have my oil changed. It was a waste of my time. The manager (David) told me my best bet was to show up when the store opened and come back when it was done. I also realized they are recommending me to come back for an oil change every 5K which is less than what is recommended by Jeep! Monday, June 27th, 2022 I was down the street at the Chevy dealer because our truck was there recently and the car was giving trouble, went back to the dealer they said it was the battery quoting $300+ and future replacements are free but labor costs are involved (NO THANKS). I called a nearby Autozone and on the spot they provided a quote and I immediately drove there, about a 5-8 minute wait to be served, everyone working as a team which was nice to see, young black woman was on point both on the phone and in person (completely on her game in every sense of the word), Glen was very helpful and worked hard in the horrific mid-day heat installing my new battery complimentary. Battery has a 3 year warranty which is good since most batteries only last 2 years. I'm extremely pleased with this entire visit from phone call to in person to install. I just wish poor Glen had a shady spot to install these batteries. I wish Autozone would perhaps provide a 10x10 tent and take up two parking spots for these installs for both the installer/worker and customer. read more

At which point I asked for my car keys back to leave as I was not waiting any longer since I had a 2pm appointment. Clarence called at 7:20 am today, woke me up, who calls that early in the morning not good business practice. I asked to have the forward high beam light replaced, my air pressure sensor reset because it was throwing a fault, an oil change with full synthetic, and new tires along with front shocks. I was given a quote except for the front shocks. I paid with my firestone card plus $85. The tire pressure sensor was left undone as was my high beam light. Worst customer care imaginable. F rating for just about every store they have with BBB. Took a vehicle to them for recommended services from a prior visit. The tech we find out after the fact cracked the coolant housing while performing a coolant service Firestone told us they recommend by mileage. The crack caused the vehicle not to hold pressure in the cooling system and while driving just kept boiling coolant out. This eventually led to an overheat on a major highway while traveling on vacation and caused catastrophic engine failure. Vehicle was towed back to Firestone. They had it a week and had an adjuster come out. He denied the claim and left us with about a 22k bill if we wanted it fixed. The adjuster and corporate would not speak with the tech or the shop that caused the problem. I've gone through all channels and basically got told to pound sand. This company is awful from top to bottom. They left us in a very dangerous position. If the vehicle had a problem, why recommend the service and not the repair? Why perform the service knowing it wouldn't fix the problem if there were one prior to coming in? How could it be on the customer if you service the coolant system then the vehicle overheated? There is just no way Firestone isn't responsible but they couldn't care less. I will never go back. Never recommend Firestone and will advocate against going as much as I can to anyone who wants to avoid a potential horrific customer experience. read more

When confronted on why the price was magically higher even with a $10 discount I got no straight answer. Nothing was done to remedy the situation so I cut my losses and paid. UGH. The management is absurd, i am severely disappointed in the quality of service and lack of work ethic of this place. I requested a diagnostic test, it turned out to be a o2 sensor. The manager charged me $130 for the test. i explained to him i cannot afford that, if i knew it was going to that much before hand i would have never brought the car up there. He then took my keys to my car with him behind the counter and said "welp" and proceeded to work on his computer. I took my car keys back from the counter and he threatened to report my car "stolen", which only the owners of the car can do lol. But MANAGEMENT tried to muscle me to pay an insane amount. After i had to snatch my keys back from him, that's when he threatened me with police and following me outside saying "we could have worked on the price" , i think that should've been offered when i said i can't afford $130. Had a 10am appointment for a simple oil change. People make appointments so that they do not have to wait all day for their car. Well, that was not my case. Thought I would be out at least by 12pm. I just picked up my car at 530pm for a 10am appointment. Absolutely unacceptable, considering I've been calling them since 2pm and they kept telling me 30 more mins. Their excuse for my 7hr and 30 min oil change was that they are understaffed because they fired people and 2 others are on vacation. Then plan accordingly!! Maybe take less walkins or take less appointments! Do what makes sense! This place has gone down hill since I lived here and will not be returning. Beware! I have been coming here for years with my Emkay company vehicle just because of the locations proximity to my house - never had an real big issue- but never really had anything amazing to say either. Today's experience with them literally made my (otherwise horrible ) day. Once again I am screwed over by this Firestone. Took my car in because the front end was shaking. Manager tells me it's because my two rear tires are worn out. I purchase the two new tires and return to get my car back. Drive off the lot and car is still shaking. I bring it back and they said they will have another look at it. It's not been FOUR DAYS and no mechanic can tell me what's wrong with it. I went to this location on last Sunday, after having a complete flat tire. I was calling everywhere since Friday afternoon, and Del Was the only gentleman to actually hear and listen to me and most importantly get me the tire within an hour. He is the most compassionate employee that I ever had to deal with at a tire store. Being a woman especially, I feel like it's harder to get in that respect. Update! I recently needed to have my alternator and battery replaced, as well as a tune up for good measure, so I went to Firestone they were the best priced and from prior experiences they were great. I'm starting to think that they are great when it comes to oil changes, but if you need any major repair work done, STAY AWAY! They have proven that they don't want to take responsibility for their work and the results of their mistakes. On the way home from having my repair done, my A/C was working intermittently, whereas previously it had been blowing ice cold. I asked someone who is good with cars (i.e.: replaced brakes and rebuilt an engine) if this was normal, he said no. I contacted Firestone regarding this issue and they said bring it in. The mechanic who replaced my alternator was the one who "tested" the A/C by driving down the block, he said, "It's blowing ice cold", I hop in the car with him, and yes it was blowing ice cold, I told him it was an intermittent issue. He immediately got defensive and said that changing the alternator has nothing to do with the A/C compressor, I just said, maybe something was bumped and came loose. I asked if they could test the freon in the system with a gauge and he said no, they had to completely drain the lines and that could cause more issues; which if you do a simple Google search shows that there are gauges just for that very issue and it does not affect the system. So sounds like they didn't want to be held responsible if they did actually mess something up, especially since it wasn't just an alternator replacement, they were working all around the engine. Needless to say, this car will not be back to this Firestone, unless its for a warranty issue on my alternator. read more
