I was confused why there were so many bad reviews about this place until I drove my car on the highway. Not only was there a vibration coming from the rear of my car, but when I let go of the steering wheel, my car drifted to the left. I called on the next Saturday and was told to come in and they'd do an inspection on my car. When I dropped it off in the afternoon, I was told it would take about 2 hours. I went for a walk and came back to wait for my car. The supervisor came in with his wife and two young children, who were running around, throwing trash all over the floor, playing with super loud tablets and were shrieking at each other. Also, after 2 hours, my car was still sitting in the parking lot untouched. I understand that it takes time on a busy Saturday and I'm ok with that, but I did not sign up to sit in a daycare while waiting for my car. Jameson said my hood was broken & they cld not access therefore they could not inspect. We picked up my car & had no problem opening the hood. After a few weeks I called again & they said they could inspect it if I dropped it off. I called to check status late afternoon & they said they could not get to it AGAIN after telling me it would be done. What kind of mechanic can't open a hood??? Bought a new front tire from them on 6/3/25 and on 6/5/25 just TWO days later it goes flat in the middle of the highway!! Very scary for somebody who thought they were a trustworthy company. I had to get my car towed to the nearest Firestone in Midlothian. Luckily they were much better. I came here to change oil for 2 year old Honda CR-V And guess what they did..they left panel open and I took car and drove on road started sound and found the guy who changed oil didn't close bottom oil panel.. Also there was another guy with me , he was whispering big mistake and I asked him what happened..he said oil is leaking after he came here for oil.. looks like they don't have good mechanics.. I've used this shop every year for annual state vehicle inspections and wheel alignments for several years. They are great at alignments, but whatever you do, DO NOT GET YOUR CAR STATE INSPECTION HERE they've failed my vehicle 3 times in a row, finding different problems each time, and somehow the total they want to charge each time is greater than $3,000. It is ridiculous. The inspectors are inconsistent, and it seems like they just find stuff so the can charge money to fix it. New management maybe? read more

REALLY DISHONEST, BEWARE! Took my car in to have inspected. Took them 2.5 days to get to it. My inspection failed, and I was told I needed to have: tie rod end replaced, raise headlight aim, and windshield wipers replaced. Would have been almost $350 + tax. I was not convinced and took my car. Had to pay $20 with a FAIL sticker. Took to another shop (more reputable) nearby for 2nd opinion. They had 2 different inspectors carefully examine the problems listed. They explained in details their evaluation and DID NOT find any problems that would fail my vehicle (as stated by Firestone). They passed my vehicle, and I had to pay another $20 (well worth it!). Firestone's regional manager was somehow notified, and I received a phone call from firestone store "manager" (man w/ name beginning with "C"). He supposedly offered an "apology" and offered to refund my $20. Info was given to him for rhe refund, but after almost 2 months, NO REFUND SEEN AS OF YET! (I doubt it will come). At this point, I don't care about the $20. Wish they could have been more honest overall. Not to mention, I lost about 4-5 days total without a car for work. Neither I, nor my entire family will EVER step into another Firestone again. What a mistake in the first place! I was fooled by their time availability when called. I will discourage anyone I know from going there. JUST BEWARE of these people. You won't know if things that really needs to be "fixed" are true or not? What's worse, we're in the middle of COVID 19 concerns, and businesses overall are slow. Why pull this kind of stunt? Update: after having nothing but good luck with this place, they burnt me. I bought this 1-year-old minivan that had a bald replacement tire on the front passenger side, and the back passenger tire had a slow leak, but the other two tires on the driver's side were practically brand new. I bought two new tires to replace the bald front right and the slow-leaking rear right tires. When I picked up the van, I inspected the right side tires (both were brand new), and I left. After a couple days, I was getting the "low tire" light, and I was confused. I pulled in to a local station to air up, and everything was checking to be right on pressure, that is until I got to the driver's side rear tire. As I looked down at my driver's side rear, I saw what I recognized to be the slow-leaker from the passenger side rear. Without getting into the whole thing, I can tell you that the markings were identical, and I know it was the old tire. I searched my brain and couldn't figure out one logical reason how the rear left tire (that was practically new with no previous issues) would be switched with the slow-leaking rear left tire. This should have been a simple "buy two tires and replace both right side tires" situation. If they wanted to make it more complicated, it could have been a "buy two tires and put them on the front drive tires" situation, but that did't even happen. The wife called, and they said there was nothing they could do because it didn't happen. The bottom line is they screwed me because I now have the same leaky tire I was trying to replace, and they did it by doing some shady business, and for what; to salvage a good used tire? What a horrible experience with Firestone at 11002 W Broad St Glen Allen, VA 23060. I have been a customer at this location since 2010 and never had such a humiliating and frustrating experience with them before. I was going for a state inspection as my sticker expired. Wanted to get an oil change and wheel alignment done as well. When I called up on 8/18 (Friday) for an inspection, I was told they only do inspections in the weekends and my car wouldn't be done by that weekend. They suggested me to drop the car next week, so I called them up again and dropped off the keys on Thursday evening 8/24. I was told by the front desk lady (forgot her name) that I was 4th in the line and that my car would be done by Saturday for pickup. Called up on Saturday 8/26 in the afternoon for a status and Mr. Kevin really gave me a hard time. He was not ready to listen to me that I have been waiting on my car and that I was 4th on the line. He rudely asked me to pick up my car and he can do nothing. He mentioned there are 3 cars ahead of me which was the case on Thursday but the inspector was working all morning on Saturday. His attitude was like "I don't care" and there was no explanation why it couldn't be done on that day when I was 4th in line. I had no choice but to end the call and just wait for Mr. Kevin's blessings to call me back. I knew they would not touch my car on Saturday. Now here is the worst part coming to Sunday (8/27). Anyone would think that since my car has been sitting there since Thursday (4th in line), it SHOULD BE done on Sunday! Well, another technician named as Mr. White (probably) told me that there are 5 cars ahead of me now! Really??? I tried to explain the situation and asked him to provide an explanation why there would be more cars ahead of me when mine should have been done by now. He couldn't give me any details and said "It's definitely not going to be done by today (Sunday) and I have to either leave the car till next Saturday or simply pick it up without any service". He told me not to waste his time. Believe me, I was shocked and kind of speechless as I NEEDED to get my inspection done at least if not the oil change and wheel alignment. I just have no clue why they couldn't follow the queue (which they created and gave the word) for inspection and why their customer service became so horrible and frustrating with no respect for anybody's time and word. It seemed like they don't want me there to get the services done and they don't care losing a customer. I am sorry to say, its kind of humiliating these days dealing with Firestone. No other choice for me so, I am going to pick up my car without any more fuss or complaints as I know for sure nobody really care anymore for anything. I just wasted 4 days and still nothing gets done. I needed my car on Monday as I need to get to work. If someone monitors this feedback, I just have one small request. I was out of town and my truck started to over heat. Found antifreeze leaking so I took it to this location. I spoke with Sergio and he assured me they could take care of it. It turned out to be some hoses to my water pump that needed to be replaced. He suggested I get a radiator flush but I declined since I just had it done a year ago. He quoted me $148 and two hours later I arrived to pick my truck up only for Sergio to tell me I owed $368. I broke down in tears because of the level of frustration and how eager I was to get home. On top of all that, they spilled antifreeze all over the place and all I could smell for the 3 hour drive home was burnt antifreeze. Firestone replaced the belts in my car incorrectly and as result my belt was scraping against my engine block, which also made a very loud screeching noise that everyone could hear from blocks away. So I take my car to another mechanic and they basically said "Firestone didn't install this correctly and your belt is literally shredding up, you need to go back to them and have them fix it". I ended up having to call out of work (I work as food delivery and my car was in no shape to do deliveries) and spending another day entirely at Firestone so they could fix their own mistake they created. They didn't even replace the incorrectly installed belts, so I basically paid $200 for belts that aren't even in brand new condition anymore. We took our vehicle here since it was the weekend...we had screws in two tires. They said one they couldn't patch, but would see us a tire for $250 or four new tires for over $1000. I asked to have the spare put on instead...I was shocked when my husband brought home our 4runner with a bright yellow wheel on the spare. At first, I was extremely skeptical. I've been taken advantage of since I have no knowledge about cars. After today, I really want to share my experience! I hit a curb and ended up going to get the wheel fixed at a nearby repair shop. Before this, my car was running completely smooth with no problems at all. They said they suggested getting an alignment done which they couldn't do right then, so they referred me to this Firestone location. I walked in just to get an alignment. Bill at the front desk was very professional and friendly. I sat waiting to get everything taken care of before heading to work. Then, suddenly, someone came back and said my check engine light was on and it was running rough for a part I know nothing about. I immediately became angry. How could that be?! It was perfectly fine before I drove it in. I was NOT pleasant to deal with because of the extremely frustrating situation and the fact that I was extremely hesitant to believe anything they were telling me. Then the manager Abraham took the time to speak with me, stayed very professional, even while I was angry, and went through everything. I was very accusatory. What he next offered I was shocked by. He offered to fix it for me right there himself and make sure I'm taken care of and can get to work. They handled an extremely angry customer with professionalism and understanding. I will NEVER come back here. I took my car in for a flat tire and was told they patched my tire. I went to pickup my car and before I even got home I had a low tire pressure alert. By the time I got home, my tire was flat. I assumed that maybe there were 2 holes that needed to be patched and they only fixed one. Turns out there was only 1 - and they lied about patching it. I ended up taking it to another garage and told them that I had received a patch the week prior but I think there is another hole that needs to be Patched. When I picked up my car there (NTB) they told me there was no prior patch work done on the hole. They said if it had been patched and if it had just fallen out, that they would have found it inside the tire. And nothing was found. The battery replacement was done without any problems. If that's all you need, then they'll do fine. The request to diagnose a problem (noise under acceleration) was insufficient. I was suspicious of the explanation I was given that it was the flex plate or torque converter, so I left and crawled underneath the car myself and found a worn/damaged front driveshaft U-joint. Not difficult to find if they had just bothered to look and touch the part. I had the part replaced elsewhere. I feel they just took my diagnostic fee of $58 without really doing anything. read more

Have bought tires for years at this location. Dropped off the latest truck for new tires, oil change, lifetime alignment check and new wiper blades. Had some instructions to save one of the current tires to move to the spare. They called to let me know it was ready. Showed up to pick it up and something told me to check the work. Everything I had asked for was on the bill, however all that was done was to replace the 4 tires. It's a Saturday morning and now I'm trapped in this location while they run it in and do the work they billed me for. Not had any issues before but I won't come back here. I'd double check all work they bill you for as this is absolutely ridiculous. Right now they can't find the tire I specifically asked them to save. Wasting a Saturday morning, not what I had in mind. No apologies or anything offered yet. Pissed Update, looks like I'll be here for 3 hours to wait on a Tundra that was ready for pickup. They can't find the tire I told them to keep as a spare (written clearly on the ticket) at least I'm getting a new spare tire because of that screw up. I will not take my vehicle here again. I had a 9am appointment for an oil change and added on a state inspection. Told them I needed my car by 4:30pm to which they said was no problem. At 3:30pm I hadn't heard anything so I called them. They said my car had 1-2 cars in front of it. They had my car for 6.5 hours and hadn't touched it. I arrive to pick it up at 4:45pm and it was still up on the lift. They tell me I need new front brakes but I didn't have time to get it done that evening. I waited until 6pm for my car! It was supposed to be ready by 4:30pm. A few business days later I took my car back to get my front brakes replaced. Had a 9am appointment, dropped it off right before hand. The lady working the front desk (who was complaining about her job my last visit) called me to ask where my wheel lock was. I told her they never gave it back to me. She claims they did, telling me to check my purse. She insists they gave it back to me yet she wasn't even the one to check me out or hand me my keys. They had to break my wheel lock to get them off and replace them with regular lug nuts. I guess the customer isn't always right. read more

I've made my last visit to this firestone for anything above and beyond my free tire rotations and alignments. They are crooked. Took it in a few weeks ago for the above and was advised that the upper left control arm was worn to 10% from breaking. Would not pass inspection. Had a second opinion today from the manufacturer and was told they are no more than normal wear and tear. Made sure bushing were checked too. No problems. I've heard from many a female that this location took advantage of women. They have tried it for the last time with me. I hope everyone sees this and gets a second opinion going forward cause these folks are crooked. No trust any longer. And they tell you to put reviews out there to help there business. I called for an appointment and specifically told them I wanted to get my AC checked and fill in freon if needed, the manger was on phone that time when I called, he told me just tell the front desk lady that I want to get my ac checked. I came to the shop and told the lady same thing I said on the phone, and then they start doing the work. One hour after they told me it's done, and there was nothing wrong except the freon is ran out, the AC was working that day after fill them in. Two days after, the AC is not working again and I came to the shop, that lady was like "oh you only told us to refill freon but never said to check AC system". I was like isn't that a normal thing that people check ac first to see if there is anything wrong before they recharge the freon, like that should be the first thing done, kind funny when she told me I didn't tell them to check if anything is wrong when I did. So they fix the part where is leaks and recharge the freon again, but they told me the compressor is not working so the cold air is not blowing out, the charge for that including labor would be around 1200 dollars, I told them I have to think about it for few days and take my car home for now. Before I leave I ask the lady if the freon is still in. Because It is ok if it's not working, I can just take over to Toyota and they can fix the part, and I don't have to pay for the freon again. But she told me "oh there is no freon, it still leaks, the AC is still not working not working! (repeated few times), because you decline to fix it here, nothing is working!", in a really bad manner. Then I ask the manager if there is actually the freon in there, he said yes, it has freon in it but just not working since the compressor is broke. So I don't know who is lying here. Never come back here again, I know I have to fix the car but you have to fix your attitude. read more

Terrible service. Dropped my car off at 7 am one day for an inspection. The next day, I called at noon to check on it. Someone answered and then I sat waiting on the phone for 6 minutes. When someone else finally picked up the phone, they had no idea what I had been waiting for. They ended up telling me my car was next in line. I didn't hear anything so 4 hours later I stopped by to see if it was ready. I was again told that I was next in line. Are you kidding me? Inspections take 10 minutes, not 4 hours. I like Firestone's and typically take my cars to them but I'm never going to this one again. I've taken my car here several times and always dread talking to the guy at the front desk. He comes off as super friendly and caring but tries to take as much money as he can from you. He is NOT helpful at all!! I came in after checking their tire quotes online and seeing that they had a great price on my tires. You can't beat $55 for tires, they also had some in the 60's. I show up and he tries to offer me three different types of tires without mentioning these, the prices of the three averaging above $100 each tire! When I mentioned the cheap ones he suddenly located them. Then he tried to charge me for a $50 oil change when they have a deal for a $22 oil change! He is SKEEZY!!!!! Recently took my car in to get inspected and was greeted by a very rude customer service representative who made me feel like I was bothering him by bringing him my business. Was told about other things that probably needed done. Chose to do only one of them. What makes the bill more is labor. We've been taking our vehicles there for years.
