Leete is a wonderful example of customer service and great work. I have brought my very old car here numerous times, and have been extremely satisfied every time. The associates don't overcharge, they only fix what needs fixing, and are always willing to explain and answer any and all of my questions. I usually hang out in the establishment while I wait, and it's always quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much to Leete for being such a trustworthy, straight-forward experience!

I took my F150 into Leete's to see if they could fix the air conditioning that had stopped working.

I brought my car in…read morewith a highly unusual, high-stakes issue-my serpentine belt had actually been sucked directly into the oil pan. It was an incredibly complex and stressful job, but despite having a shop full of other customers and high demand, Jay treated my vehicle as a top priority. What sets Jay apart is his absolute refusal to cut corners. I know for a fact that another mechanic likely would have given up, or offered a quick, subpar patch job that would have ruined the long-term driving experience. Jay took the extensive time required to properly diagnose the root problem and meticulously resolve it so the car drives perfectly. To top it all off, he was incredibly fair on the final price, even knowing how much extra labor and stress went into this repair. If you want an honest, brilliant mechanic who genuinely cares about the safety and performance of your vehicle, go see Jay at Elliott Automotive. They have earned my customer loyalty for life!

Again this is someone whose shirt i complimented, with whom both of us had been cordial, but could not be talked into a calm state. All of this because i leveled with him and expressed nebulously aimed frustration over a job that didn't last for the drive home, as the explanation for why i was asking for a redo. I asked him, "i mean objectively, you can understand why I would expect it to last till i reached home two miles away?". His rumination on the phrase "i felt ripped off" in response to the crashwrap beginning to peel off 0.5 miles from the facility was self-driven. That being said, why even recommend this as a temporary fix if I can't drive home with it? I would've liked it done right the first time and that's fair to express. We don't have to agree or see eye to eye and it's his right to feel I'm overly difficult. It was suggested that I should've cleaned my car first, not that they should've wiped it down the first time before applying wrap. (The car wasn't in the shop to have any crashwrap applied, so why would I have wiped it?) Ultimately I paid $104 to get an issue diagnosed and temporary tape put on the sunroof. I'm frustrated that I'm out $100 and the issue is not any closer to being fixed. The technician himself was amiable and communicative and the owner is also a pleasant man to work with. That being said this experience has burnt this spot for me. Having a disagreeable person work for you isn't a dealbreaker but maybe don't place him front of house.

The car was riding less than desirable, so I went back to exchange them for the correct size. They tried to charge me for installation AGAIN, and instead of prorating the extended warranty I already purchased, they tried to charge me for a second one. I finally got the correct size tires, but they were shaking worse than the first set! I took it back the next day for them to rebalance. The salesman asked if I went to get them balanced somewhere else after I left last night. That question was so idiotic that it took me a minute to register. He said there were two different sets of weights on the rim and one set wasn't theirs; he basically admitted that this was the first time they balanced my tires, even though they were supposed to be balanced at the time of purchase. Their corporate team reached out to me after I left a Google review, stating that someone would contact me within two business days. It has been four days, and I still have heard nothing. Response to comment. That's fascinating, because I didn't have any missed calls from that location. Maybe that's the philosophy of that location? Claiming work that wasn't performed? Cody's offered to refund the difference when I reached out to ask for the GM yesterday. I suggested that he have someone come to the Ford dealership to pick up the tires for a full refund; I no longer have faith in your company's work and would rather get new tires from a more reputable business. The fact that the newly purchased tires weren't balanced at all--not just once, but twice--is more than a little unsettling. Whether it was oversight or cutting corners, it put my safety at risk while driving.

My husband thought one of the camper tires looked worn, so we drove over to Richmond to find tires. We absolutely lucked into Mincz Tires on the recommendation of another tire place that didn't have what we needed. We got to Mincz about 10am and were done by 11:15am. The owner, Ken, is very knowledgeable and explained the various options. He said most people just want the cheapest tires. We went ahead with the high quality tires he recommended - Maxis brand - which he said were twice as heavy as the cheap ones. He called and had them delivered in about 15 minutes. They put them on the trailer as it sat in front of the shop, still connected to the truck. The cost for the two tires and labor was $311. At no time did we feel pressured, just a lot of information from a very interesting guy. When they were finished, he said that the inside of the other tire, which looked better on the outside, was actually splitting on the inside and would have blown soon. So, we saved the cost of roadside service, plus met a nice person. We feel lucky to have found this family-owned business!
