So I made the wrong decision and came here after going to their location on Powell (4601 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97206, don't go there either) three times attempting to get my brakes serviced and getting now where. On my first visit I came in and requested an alignment and break services, since their previous store didn't align my car after I paid $500+ on 4 brand new tires. So I leave my car in the morning and they keep it all day and don't even do the alignment or the breaks. Just a break inspection and ask me to come in again, which of course I made the mistake of doing. So I take my car in and after four visits finally get in it aligned however the break services wasn't done. So I wait a couple months take it in again (in Feb) and ask for my breaks to get serviced and they again take my car all day, however this time when I return they state they needed to order some parts and weren't able to finish. So they charge $700 and tell me they will call me back in with the parts get in. So June comes around and I still haven't had not one call from them so I call them and they manager states "I'm not sure what happened, but the part was never ordered. We'll order it now and get you in a couple weeks." So I take my car to Les Swab at this point just to see if anything was even done on my car in the first place, and of course nothing they charged me for was done. So I call the customer service, who apologies and states someone will call me within 24hrs to deal with the matter. 4 days later and I get a call and ask for a refund and the guy tells me "Oh well I figured I just give you a couple oil changes". Honestly don't go here or any other Firestone, especially if you're a femme. The guys will just disrespect you, take your money and then laugh at your when your request a refund. read more

I sent my son over to get a nail pulled from a tire. We bought the tires thru Firestone (different location). But they refused because it was close to the side wall. That would be ok IF I DIDNT WORK FOR THEM AND DIDNT UNDERSTAND! But I used to work for Firestone and I know what a sidewall is and I k ow what I unrepairable tire looks like. AND ITS NOT THIS ONE! they tried to sell my son a tire he didn't need. They thought he was some kid who they could take advantage of. I have either Bridgestone or Firestone tires on my car, my sons, my wife's and my semi truck had firestones....5,000$ for the truck tires alone...then ad 3 sets of 4 for the cars and the previous 6 years of tires I got thru them and they try and up sell me? These clowns have lost their mind. I realize pot is legal in Oregon but they guys should lay off the smoke at work and make some reasonable decisions with their customers. Btw I took it to les Schawb and they had no problem fixing it. Go figure...last time I get firestones or send my wife or son over there. read more

I called to get my tire checked up on a fast leak. Good service, didn't take very long. A few weeks later, my wife asked me about my experience there...she took her car to check on a slow leak on of her tires. She also had a great experience there. Would recommend to others. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Bought $600 worth of tires for my Mazda with the extended warranty for flat fixing, etc...I get a flat tire, they have no service men to come fix the flat so I bring it in. The guy comes out and gets it out of the trunk and tells me he'll call me when it's done. I received a call from him minutes later to tell me he cannot fix the flat nor can he replace the tire without replacing my wheel because it was bent. I go back to get the tire and it is literally rolled at me from the mechanic. I am 57 year old women in a nice black dress coat. I heist the 40 pound tire & wheel myself into the parking lot and into the trunk of my car. I was completely covered in grease, ruined my jeans had it all over my coat and hands....RIDICULOUS! Flat out LAZY bunch of losers I dealt with. Went down the street to another tire center, they said "you mean to tell me they said they couldn't fix this?" 10 minutes later my tire was fixed and the GENTLEMAN said no charge! I threw him a $20 and I will NEVER do business with this Firestone again! read more

With an appointment double the wait time two and a half hours after being told two then another hour and a half and still waiting after being told 45 more minutes . Now being informed they got the wrong part and went to get another with out my knowledge . Terrible customer service . read more

Just wanted to send a VERY positive shout-out to everyone at this Firestone Complete AutoCare location. I brought my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo in for a loud squeal in the engine compartment. After replacing the Serpentine Belt, we realized that it did not solve the issue, so I brought the vehicle back in the next day. Katie Adalsteinsson was very helpful, courteous and helpful, as was Jack Maxoudian. They even provided me with a ride back to work that morning ! Turns out the Harmonic Balancer was cracked in half. They replaced that, and credited me for the work they did on the Belt. Very Cool... During the installation of the new Balancer, the very old / worn out upper radiator hose cracked and leaked a little anti-freeze. Jay was happy to replace it for FREE ! I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the whole Team at this Firestone location.They are all very friendly & professional. I would highly recommend it to everyone who wants to have their vehicle serviced ; Oil change, Brakes, or whatever you might need done ! ( fyi ; the only reason I didn't give them a Five-Star review, was due to the fact that the Tech. might have saved me another trip, had he noticed the radiator leak before I left with the vehicle after the harmonic balancer was installed.. but " small potatoes" in my book ) Feel very confident taking your car of truck here for sure. read more

Bought Firestone tires a few months ago. It was an ok experience now that it came time for them to rotate my tires all of a sudden my jack and my lug nut key are missing. I have had no reason to remove that from my car. They then blame me because I must have taken it out of the car. Why would anyone take the jack and lug nut key out of the car. They have taken it out of my car and didn't put it back in when they put the tires on the car. This place is a joke! read more

Apparently they can not imagine an emergency situation that would require to pay by phone. My 16 year old daughter was completely abandoned by these people that refused to give any assistance. Firestone is terrible. Despite finding them say they honor competitor coupons online prior to going in, when I arrived the guy named Jack looked at me like I was crazy and said they don't do that. Never again.Ever!!! I used this store 4 times in the past 3 years and each time was negative. The first time they lost the lower engine shroud on my Audi. A $475 part to replace however they wouldn't admit fault. Second time they installed rear brake pads backwards again On an Audi but a different one. Number 3 is the worst of them all. I went in for an alignment they found a broken strutt not their fault It took 3 days to replace the struts but when I picked the car up they had broken plastic overflow tank and did not tell me also they broke right side headlight and again said nothing. I called to complain they offered to repair but I said no deal I meant never again ever!! read more

i had gone for one of those lifetime alignments deals and i arrived pretty early and was basically the only person there. i was in their waiting room for about an hour or so, but it turned out they couldn't align my WRX because it was too low and they couldn't drive it up their ramp. i thought no big deal, i'll just find another shop. on my way home i hear a rattling/clunk/dragging noise coming from the front of my car. i got home to see my front bumper hanging with the bumper tabs destroyed, not to mention a slightly bent fender. at this point i was pissed, i called the place and i was told to come right back. turns out my hour wait wasn't them trying to align my WRX, but instead they were trying to put the bumper back together. i found out that firestone had found some random plastic screw that didn't not fit my bumper/fender and sent me on my way. not only was my bumper damaged from them trying to drive up a ramp, but they failed to notify me and act like nothing happened. i ended up spending another hour there because one of their employees went to the Subaru dealership to find the "correct" bumper screw/tab. i guess they "fixed" my bumper, but it wasn't even securely on and it ended up sagging a lot. in all, i was left with a broken bumper tab, bent fender, and a damaged fender liner. i'll never do business again. read more

Brought in my car last week as I had a slow leak in one of my tires on the explorer. So I went to Gresham firestone per a recommendation of a family member. The manager told me I had a puncture in my tire and it was not fixable, it would cost me $280 for a new basic tire. I said alright. Manager was also shit talking customers while I sat in the lobby, it was clear he was unaware that I was waiting. Then I Went to Les Schwab in sandy for a second opinion without telling them of my first opinion from firestone, and they fixed the tire easily for free. They also said it was a piece of metal, no mention of a puncture. I will never be returning to firestone. Neither will my in laws who recommended this store. The manager was arrogant and had a holier than thou attitude. Unfortunately there is not an option to give zero stars on yelp, but this guy was a pitiful excuse for a customer service representative. went there to have my bushings done on front lft drivers side 6 months ago, cost me $1300 ,just had my rt drivers side done by someone else which only cost me $300 and watched the work done which was perfect, and then checked the lft side which firestone had done and low and behold the bushing's that they supposedly fixed are shot what a waist of $1300 they suck and are a rip off read more

830 am on 10-22-16 took in my truck to have a nail removed. Asked that after they finished removing nail to balance and rotate. was told would be approx. 2hrs which was ok went next door to eat. Rec'd call from Jay the mgr. telling me that the tire could not be repaired because nail was to close to side wall(more then an Inch away) and he did not have the tire in stock but ordered one(Approx. 120.00) and it would be in around 1pm. When I arrived back at shop went inside to verify what all had been done. was told tires were rotated and balanced..to my surprise walked out to trk to find tires had not been rotated. Went back in side told jay who confronted his tech who said he just balanced tires and that there was nothing on work order about rotating. needless to say NOT HAPPY. Went to another shop who said no problem with repairing and was not a safety issue or close to sidewall..Jay was not happy when he called and informed me tire was in and I informed him that I had it repaired and they should think about there working ethics. read more

To begin, I took my truck in for an oil change, tire balance and rotation, alignment and a yearly inspection. What they found was the lower ball joints were going bad ( Both the upper and lower were replaced in Arizona 2 years ago. Now that replacement was on a 2002 truck and they replaced the original ball joints). Plus 3 transmission coolant lines and a power steering line. I made an appointment on Wed. the 2nd of Dec. for 9 am. That morning I was told that it would take approximately 8-9 hours, maybe sooner because he has his BEST tech. of 11 yrs. taking care of the truck. Great!!! By 5 that evening, I choose to walk 1.5 miles to Firestone to find out their not even close to being done!! Blaming the delay on a oil zerk fitting that their BEST Tech. broke off! Yet they blamed Arizona Firestone for putting in the wrong zerk fitting, which according to the manager was never greased in the past 2 yrs.. This I find hard to believe, since I brought the truck in to this Firestone in Gresham back in July for an oil change, and they never mentioned anything about the problem!! So 1 question is, Are you even doing a complete oil and lube job? Well I already know the answer. NO YOU ARE NOT!!! On to the rest of my issue with this particular business. So due to the fact it was now raining, I requested that I need a ride home(1.5 miles away). So they go to the expense of renting me a car( which was just to small for me to feel comfortable to drive around. Not many choices at the rental business this time of night!) The better choice would have been to call a taxi! Yet that's their choice! Moving on to the next day(Thurs.), I waited until 12:30 to call and see if the truck was finished?? NO!! His BEST Tech. just got back from lunch, and said it would be another 1 1/2- 2 hrs. yet!! When all said and done It took their BEST tech. 16 hours to do a max 8 hr. job!!! To top it all off, after 2 visits, I still didn't get my tires balanced and rotated!!! Since the tire with the red paint smear was still in the same location on the truck. Yes, I could of done this work myself, but the lower ball joints were under a lifetime warranty!!! Which brings me to the next question, If you replace the lower ones due to lack of lubrication, wouldn't you also change out the upper ones also?? Or I wait for those to go bad and have to spend another 5-600 dollars on labor for their BEST tech to get the work done in a timely matter???? In conclusion, I have been getting my truck serviced by Firestone in Arizona for 10 yrs. and NEVER come across this type of service!!!!! So unless you have just a simple repair, find somewhere else to spend your hard working dollars!!! ......I am!!!! Note to owner.....If that's the work of your BEST tech., he either needs to go back to school or be FIRED!! Maybe your manager Jay needs to make better decisions!!! Or FIRE him also!!!! read more
