Brought my vehicle in to have the breaks checked. They did a FULL vehicle inspection without my consent, charging me $30. Came up with $3000 worth of "issues". I decided to pick it up and take it elsewhere, and the lady at the counter got an attitude with me because I didn't want to drop $3k. She said it's still on the lift because they expected me to get it all fixed and they would get it put together whenever they get the chance. So I'm sitting here waiting for my car that I'm not having work done on, because they are being petty that I decided I didn't want to do business with them. I would also like to mention, as I'm sitting in the lobby waiting on my vehicle, the lady at the counter is offering people discounts on their service in exchange for 5 star reviews, I don't believe this Firestone is truly 4.3 star rated and I'll be reporting to yelp read more

I scheduled a wheel alignment on the website, I then changed the appointment to a tire rotation. The website walked me through a cancelation process for the wheel alignment, which I did. No change in date or time, just a change of service. Without notice they had changed the time of the tire rotation and kept the wheel alignment, so now both appointments where on the same day. I showed up expecting a tire rotation and not a wheel alignment. Front desk employee was new and neither of us realized the mistake. After waiting 2 - 3 hours the front desk employee handed me a paper for a wheel alignment and a charge of $120. A tire rotation is about $30. BIG DIFFERENCE! I told them they had performed the wrong service and I wasn't going to pay. I then had to wait about 30 minutes for the manager to arrive. THey explained that even though they were in the wrong they still provided the service and I needed to pay. After negotiating the best compromise I got was the tire rotation for free and a small refund. The staff. especially the manager was extremely unhelpful and presented no desire to fix the problem that thier system made. The manager even confessed he had no idea how the website worked so he couldn't help me. Below is how they described me on the work order and its very unprofessioanl and accusatory of the customer. The website and Firestone's system messed up not me. Work order: CUSTOMER CLAIMS THAT HE DID NOT WANT THEALIGNMENT THAT HE ONLY WANTED A TIRE ROTATION. BOTH APPOINTMENTS WERE REQUESTED ONLINE AND WHEN CUSTOMER ARRIVE HE WAS ASKED THAT IF WE WERE DOING THE ALIGNMENT WHICH THE CUSTOMER AGREED TO. CUSTOMER STATES THAT WAS NOT PAYING ATTENTION WHEN HE WAS ASKED IF WE ARE DOING THE ALIGNMENT. THE CUSTOMER WAS 2 HOURS LATE TO THE APPOINTMENT. WE DID THE ALIGNMENT AND NOW CUSTOMER WANTS A REFUND FOR THE ALIGNMENT. WE OFFERED TO DO THE TIRE ROTATION FOR FREE. WE WILL ONLY OFFER A AN ADDITIONAL 35 DOLLAR REFUND. This was grossly wrong since the manager wasn't at the location to deal with the problem at hand. I was dealing with a new employee that didn't have the knowledge or experience to help resolve this. Very unhappy with the website and the location for improperly verifying and correctly processing the appointment. Lack of help and unwillingness to resolve the mistake. They tried to bully me into paying and leaving. Average person might have been intimidated and scared in to leaving. read more

We were traveling from Chicago to Knoxville and got a flat tire as we went through Indianapolis. It was an early Sunday morning, so hard to find any place that was open. Thankfully, I called the nearest Firestone (3506 S. East St.) and talked to Crystal. She was WONDERFUL and so helpful! She gave me the phone number for a towing company and told me she had a full schedule of appointments, but that she would fit us in. Well, not only did she fit us in, she fit us in within 10 minutes of our car arriving on the tow truck. Crystal was fun to talk to and helped a frustrating morning a little easier to handle. my friend got a flat tire the other day in the parking lot a little bit down from the firestone and we couldn't get the tire off to put on the flat on. we walked over to the firestone and the guy working, Josiah walked back with us to help take off the tire. he then put the spare on and we walked back to the firestone and he got us in SO QUICK. honestly the best service ever. he was so nice and kind to us. highly recommend this firestone and Josiah!! thanks so much!! read more

Firestone is suppose to be a reputable company and they have not shown any professionalism . Lets start with the waiting process had been over 2 weeks as if it is a major issue. It's just a tire rod change and alignment. Parts had to be ordered and they had coming for two weeks. Secondly , only communication was because I contact them. They never returned any of my phone calls. Once the part finally arrived I was told that I it would be a one day fix. part was finally received Friday and the vehicle is still not fixed. I have been taking my car to this location for several years to change tires and alignment but I have noticed that they have changed GM and that has made a big difference in terms of the service they offer me now. The GM was very helpful and attentive, he completed the repairs on my car before the agreed time. I am pleased that they took the time to call me and let me know that my car was ready. I took my vehicle to Firestone at 63rd and Keystone Indianapolis. The employee drove my car into the garage door busting out the back window of my SUV damaging the back door and the bumper I tried to contact this company five times by phone and by email to their their adjuster and with no Prevail no response no return call please see attached pictures to prove my justification I would not recommend this facility. I have lost wages for 2 weeks. And I'm trying to take care of three grandchildren after my daughter's death and I can't get no one to respond to me. All I went for was a battery. read more

I had a slow leak in the right passenger side tire of my Prius, losing 6-8 lbs every 3 days. Other tire dealers in the area required appointments scheduled 6 days out, but Firestone Speedway was able to see me right away. Afte a short wait, they removed the tire from the rim and tested the tire thoroughly. The manager Logan told me they could not find a nail or any other damage that might cause it. However, in the process of reinstalling the tire, they removed some corrosion from the rim and, of course, re-beaded the tire all around. Logan suggested that some curb impact, pothole, etc. may have damaged the beading, resulting in the slow leak, and the reinstallation may fix the problem. While a fair amount of labor was required to remove, test, clean the rim, and reinstall the tire, the manager said he didn't feel right charging for not actually fixing anything, so there was NO CHARGE. This is old school quality customer service that will encourage me to do business with them in the future. Great experience. read more

I wanted to leave some feedback here. They made a mistake and accidentally scratched my wheels while replacing all 4 of my tires. Accidents happen, and so it's the way the store tries to fix the problem that counts! Tony was super helpful!!! He asked that I get a quote first before having the repair done (completely reasonable). When I found out that my wheels could not be repaired but had to be replaced, the district manager (NOT Tony) laughed and said no way. He actually LAUGHED! Tony called me, when he assumed everything had been taken care of and couldn't believe the behavior of the district manager. Thanks to Tony my wheels are being replaced! He is wonderful and understands the key to good business. This Firestone location comes HIGHLY recommended from me - Tony will take care of you (the district manager in Indianapolis however, could learn a thing or two from his manager)! Do not go here. They are typical con artists who can't give you more than 5 minutes of their time. My tire had a piece of metal in it, and I asked them to please patch it. He said it wasn't patchable even though the piece of metal was in the dead center of my tire, and not on the wall. As he told me this he then proceeds to the famous sales pitch for FOUR NEW TIRES!! So I leave and go to Pomp's Tire Services on Harding St, and they were able to patch it and plug it. read more

Blew a tire on a Sunday, luckily this place was open early so I went on over to get a replacement. Tony, the manager, was nicer than anything and was able to get a tire from a different store, replace it, and check my alignment all within 90 minutes.
