There needs to be a negative star rating because I am furious. Got my oil changed here and discovered they forgot to replace the cap after smelling oil in my car cabin. Now oil is everywhere and I may need to get it professionally cleaned. Currently there is almost no oil in the car and it doesn't even look like they changed the oil at all because the oil looks very dirty. Came here because it was closest to our apartment and was open. We came in around 5:30 and told the tech that our tire if flat and we think there is a nail. He came outside and looked at it and said there isn't because he hears no air leak or see it. Said to keep an eye on and come back Sunday if it went down. We went to Walmart and saw that we had a piece of metal in the tire so we went back immediately. There was a different guy and told him there is a metal in our tire causing leakage and we needed a patch. They close at 7. The guy said we had to come back tomorrow because they have no time. Seriously???? They don't have time to patch up something that'll literally take no more than 30 minutes?????? Ridiculous. We took our business elsewhere and they did it in 15 minutes and only charged us $5. Screw these big tire companies. They rip you off and don't appreciate your time. read more

These people hate women and take advantage of them at every opportunity. My battery died while in the parking lot across the street. I called them to give them my car make and model and have them bring me a replacement. They jumped my car and took it over to Firestone. They told me the battery was dead, which I already knew. They then charged me $129 for the battery, plus $25 for "testing" the battery and another $25 for installing the battery. Their price for a new head light: $407 Price for the same head light online: $40 Price for the same head light at local stores: $60 I called Firestone corporate and told them what this store tried to charge me and their price suddenly dropped to $169. People were fairly friendly, but that's about it. First I went was for an oil change and balance and rotate. That went ok. This past time, I swapped out all the front suspension (w/ oem parts) dropped it off at 130pm to do a proper alignment , the called at 6pm to say it wouldn't be ready till first thing tomorrow morning. They call at 1130 pm the next day to say it's ready so when I pick it up, it's still pulling left and the steering wheel isn't straight. read more

Went to another auto shop in Dallas today to have them inform me (MUCH less than 70,000 miles later) that the struts are completely worn down and look to be the originals that were on my car when bought. Dropped my truck off at 10am for an alignment and was told it would be done by 1pm. 3 hours for a simple task. Left and came back at 1pm and my truck is still up on the lift and the mechanics are joking and goofing around throwing a ball around in the garage. Then I asked the female at the front desk to ask if they could speed up the process so I wasn't late for work and she said yes, then proceeded to sit there and do nothing. Initially received decent service when I went in for state inspection. They told me I needed new tires so I made an appointment for same. I showed up at the appointed time. An hour later, they had not started on my car. I decided to leave to get back to work but then they couldn't find my car. I located it behind the building, parked but unlocked. I asked the front desk what the value of an appointment and the response was that it doesn't mean anything to have an appointment. I rarely write reviews, but this one deserves a review to save people from wasting their time. Summary: I do not believe in throwing car keys around, slamming paperwork in front of paying customers for us to sign, men throwing hissy fits and then, trying to deny a customer of a receipt (as I like to keep them as reference). Went in this morning at 7:30 for a brake job/oil change and was told it would be done in about 1.5 hours. Checked in with them around 11:00 and was told they were done and about to pull my car out. 30 minutes later car was still up on the lift and didn't look like anyone was working on it. Had to uber home since I had to be somewhere at noon. Got a call around 12:20 that my car was finally ready...almost 5 hours later. Then afterwards checked my bill and saw they charged me $40 for an oil change when they told me it would be $20 (from a deal on the website). Made an appointment for 2pm to have them do an alignment on my SUV. Got to the shop at 1:45, 15 minutes prior to my appointment. I was told that there was one car ahead of me on the alignment rack and I would be next. Went to lunch and came back and they had not even looked at the car. I asked why and was told "we have a lot of work". When I answered that I was told there was as only one car ahead of me and that it should not take 3 hours to do an alignment the rep said nothing and walked out onto the floor. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE I came in for my yearly inspection and they told me my rear brakes were flagged. I asked for a quote and it was reasonable so I let them do them. They next day my rear wheels sqeaked like crazy! I thought they just needed to be worn in so I ignored it for a week or so. I took it back in and asked them to find out why it was sqeaking. They told me they FRONT brakes needed to be repairs and this was where the sqeaking was coming from (even though it was obviously coming from the back). I asked them what they would do if I paid for the front brakes and the sound continued and they were very kind to say they would refund me the charge if it did not solve the problem. Now when I took it home, BOTH the front AND the back sqeaked! I took it back in, but they said they couldn't duplicate the sound. I took it home, brought it back AGAIN and they said they'd replace both front and back for free. When I asked about the refund on the front, they argued with me and tried to tell me no! I'd been in their shop 4 times in 2 months, arranged transport to and from work, dealt with them on the phone and they confirmed thru all of this that they would definitely refund me for the front brakes if it wasn't the source of the problem and NOW they wanted to tell me NO? They did refund me the front brakes, I've been driving it find for a while now with no noise and NOW that the cold weather has rolled in they've started sqeaking on turns again! WHAT is wrong with you people? You should just do everyone a favor and close your doors. read more

In short - dishonest and awful. Pretty sure they tried to hustle me because I'm female. I spent over $500 here in a day- not my normal place but I was in a bind and had to leave town on short notice- got a new tire, alignment, oil change, the whole deal. They talked me into some kind of 1 year alignment thing - the woman at the front desk said that I could align my car as many times as I wanted in a year. I thought everything was fine. Fast forward a couple months I take my my car to get a regular oil change at my regular place- Firestone had used the wrong oil filter housing. My car uses a special kind, I've gone to mechanics in the past and they have to special order it. But these guys rigged whatever part they had on hand by wrapping it in a paper towel and cramming it on anyways. I go back to Firestone, not super apologetic but they say they'll fix it, I tell them let's go ahead and do an alignment while I'm here- I find out that the whole "get your car aligned every week if you want" line I was told previously, is not true. I get one complimentary alignment. ONE. They did give me the right part for free, but I wish they just would have been honest from the beginning instead of trying to make a quick buck. They refuse to stand by their product, gave me the run around on why their product will not work and the only other option is to spend another $800 dollars bringing my grand total to $2000 on tires in 6 months. I called in as I parked in their parking lot to ask if they did walk in state inspections and how long it would take since i was on my lunch break and they looked busy. The lady who picked up the phone said "yes we do and right now it would take under an hour." I thought "Great! I can wait for the car and go back to work within my lunch hour. So I went in, sat in their waiting area to ate my lunch (which I did ask if they were ok with that). I waited and waited and waited. When I realized 1.5 hrs had passed I started to look to see where my car was. It was still parked in the parking lot where I had parked it. Wtf. I decided to wait a bit longer thinking it shouldn't take longer and I should be next. Nope. I came in at 1:20 and had to walked back to work and 3:15. I would have not mind dropping off my car and walking back to work if they told me it would take longer. I hate service where you give customers a faster time to "earn" their business. In reality you're losing it. And now that I'm here to pick up my car, they didn't even bother to greet their customers that came in. Went to this location to have my tires looked at. Then it turned into the normal let's see what we can hustle her out of. Not impressed. A guy named Ryan kept trying to push all this extra crap. I think he was just trying to get a higher commission. Probably doesn't really care about what the customer actually needed in the first place. First time I took my car here everything was fine, got it back in time. The second time was not so good. I drop of my car at 11 am. Informed them that I needed an oil change, to check the freon and a/c, and also to do the multi point check thing that lets you know of any issues that may be wrong that they suggest you take care of. I informed the guy that I would be back by 2 pm and he said that it was ok. I called them at 1:30 pm as I had not received a call with any recommendations yet and I was picking it up in 30 mins. I was told that he was going to go check on my car and called me back. I never received a phone call so I showed up at 3:20ish pm and my car was not ready yet. They had only done the oil change so far. I asked the guy to stop whatever he was doing next because I didn't have anymore time to wait. My car had been there since 11 am. He said they were in the middle of doing something with the a/c and couldn't stop. So I told him that I was giving him 10 mins to finish and after that I would get in my car and drive off. I asked to get his manager if this was something he didn't have any control of. The funny thing is the manager was currently dealing with a customer over the same situation. That customer was extremely angry over the wait and time it had taken them. She also had drop off her car that morning and when she got there her car was not ready, no wheels on it, and still a lot of work to do to it. I did get my car back within the 10 mins and the only thing again that was done was the oil change, nothing else. I will say though that I was not charged for the oil change. The Good Things: Close to home. Can try to call ahead and ask them to estimated time of service before left home. We always go to Firestone for oil change with coupon. The laundry list of fix recommends are just a reference. I do like their laundry list, because I can take the list to my trustworthy body shop to verify them if necessary. Most time I will get big laughs from body shop when they check that... Oh well.. The Bad Things: Wont accept their own coupons from Firestone website. Even the coupon has their logo, date and my name, they just don't accept it. They way of warning customer to the extra services is just like the way doctors do: warn you to take the pills or you will die. Sometime the warnings are quite scare if I wasn't familiar their tricks. If you can ignore my complains and the store is close to you, It actually is not a bad bad choice. read more

I was having some brake trouble about 2 weeks ago, and brought my car into this Firestone. I had to bring my car back 4 different days due to continued issues that kept occurring. I don't say that as a negative, but to say that this Firestone worked with me throughout the entire process, being patient with me, and taking me to and from work without any complaints. I was only charged for the first job, and due to this I will be a customer for life. It was the first time I have ever left an auto shop and felt I was not scammed or ripped off, but instead was given exceptional customer service that set this place apart from the rest. Although I can't remember specific names, I drove a red Mazda 6, and there were two guys working the front desk and one out in the shop that stood out and were exceptional in how they worked with me. Maybe the inside guys were Brandon and Thomas (or Joe), and the outside guy said he had just started at that location a few weeks before. They know who they were and really should be praised individually for their help. I sincerely thank those three guys and Firestone for all their help! read more

I was towed into Firestone with a flat time because my key for the lug didn't work. The Service Adviser was courteous and professional. I didn't feel like they "Got Me" when I spoke with him. After looking over my vehicle he made a few suggestions, however, I didn't feel hard sold to me the repairs. I was told a specific time to return to pick up my vehicle. When I showed up the vehicle wasn't ready. The Service Adviser immediately offered me a complimentary oil change. Now that is customer service! I shall recommend my friends to use Firestone. 1 weeks ago I brought my car into this Firestone for replacement of Headline Halogen low bulb. They (woman employee) told me cost of part is $12 and labor cost will be $50. Also after consulting with technician she told that I need to leave my car for 2 hours to finish this work. I declined this offer and then visit O'Reilly Auto store. I bought bulb for $12 and asked if they can replace it in my car. Employee in O'Reilly replaced it in 5 minutes for free. read more
