I had a very concerning experience at Firestone Complete Auto Care that turned a routine visit into a costly situation. I came in for new tires and an oil change. The tires were installed without issue, but during the oil change, I was contacted and told the oil filter cap had broken. I was then told it may have been due to a previous oil change, even though my vehicle had no leaks or issues prior to this visit. I agreed to pay $130 for a replacement cap so the work could be completed. However, during installation of the new cap, it was also broken, and the oil filter housing was damaged in the process. I was then quoted approximately $1,500 to repair that damage. After already spending $600 on tires, I was not in a position to approve that additional repair, so I had to take my vehicle back. Unfortunately, it was returned in worse condition than when I brought it in. On the drive home, all the oil leaked out, and I had to seek immediate help from another mechanic. I am now facing approximately $1,900 in repair costs as a result. I did reach out to the store to try to resolve this directly, but was told the damage was not their responsibility. At this point, I am documenting the situation and expenses, and I would appreciate the opportunity for Firestone to review this and make it right. I would prefer to resolve this directly rather than pursue other options. read more

I woke up to a flat tire on my car, what a headache. Thankfully, I was able to get my damaged tire into Firestone within an hour of my call. Both Nicole & Marc were incredibly helpful during the entire experience! Marc took one look at my tire and said, "yep, we can patch that!" They accommodated my work schedule and made a point to be efficient and effective. As a busy person, this absolutely made my day! Their pricing is more than reasonable, especially considering the friendly service included! This was my first experience with Firestone, and I will most certainly be coming back! read more

We live on the Las Vegas Strip and drive less than a 1000 miles a year, we had been taking our vehicle for service out in Henderson but we thought we would give Firestone Complete Auto Care on Maryland a try. We had scheduled a complete check of the vehicle including a oil change. The staff were courteous and helpful when I made the appointment and while they were clearly busy when we arrived for the service they assisted us quickly. They were upfront about the time to complete the service but immediately began the work on our vehicle. In short order our vehicle service was completed and professionally done. We will return when it's time for our next scheduled maintenance and an additional takeaway is we will always make an appointment when it's time for service. read more

Stopped by for an oil change on my truck, and talked to a service advisor actively snacking and burping. Gave basic details, gave my key and waited about 30 minutes for my vehicle to be checked in. After being brought back, I waited an additional 45 minutes for the service to be performed, with no update from staff regarding delays. There was only one other customer in the lobby at the time. Paid the bill and received general recommendations without any inspection sheet, invoice or receipt of work performed. As soon as I stepped inside, I found the seat back leaned down far (It was already set it back), and staining on my headliner and door panel. I hope the vehicle received the proper repair as requested, because nothing was handled professionally. read more

Had a very frustrating experience. I will say, the associate who worked with me was very kind and respectful. But god this was such a horrible experience. I called around 10 to see about a tire in stock because I had a flat, they said they will go get one from one of their nearby stores, should take about an hour to get here and that he would order it now. So I made an appointment at 12. When I got to the shop around 11:15, they didn't have the tire. It's currently 1:32 and they still don't have the tire. I've been waiting hours Pretty ridiculous service if you ask me. I should've just went to another shop. Won't be coming back and don't recommend it here. I went to this ridiculous place a couple of months back. I will have to look through my paperwork to find the exact date, but I went in and I was sold on getting some kind of 21 point service inspection. I could be wrong about the name. Anyway, the wait was like that of being in a doctors office even though I had an appointment so I did complain to the service personnel that this is ridiculous. Then they gave me my car but little did I know that either because they are incompetent or out of vindictiveness they cut the access panel on my skid plate. I did not notice this until now because I have three cars and I drive each one a certain amount of time and I hadn't gotten back around to driving my Toyota RAV4 again, but I had to go to the dealership and order a new part. The part was $279. Do not go to this place and I will tell everyone that I know do not go to Firestone for anything whatsoever because either they are so incompetent they couldn't unscrew the access panel on the skid plate or they cut it on purpose because it was flapping down and another driver had to tell me, hey somethings hanging down from under your vehicle, when I went to go get my oil changed at my favorite place take five they said hey this has been cut in half so the only people that worked on my car before that was fire stone. I don't know why they thought it was necessary to do something so idiotic or like I said, they are very incompetent and couldn't unscrew a damn access panel to a skid plate either way do not use them. read more

So I went to eBay I ordered four tires It gave me the option of paying an additional $99 to have Firestone install the tires which includes balancing and mounting. For a total of roughly $490 bucks. So that's the purchase of the tires plus install It sounds like a good deal to me. So now I pull up to the Firestone because my appointment was for 9:00 a.m. I get here at 8:45 hoping to be ahead of the curve. Now the guy Boe work in the front counter was very polite outside of that this shit is horrible. It is now 10:35 a.m. and they still haven't gotten to my car, And all he could tell me is basically they're still working on a car from yesterday. Boe also informed me that he only has two employees working and that they were backed up. Why make appointments you guys obviously can't keep? Not only that, where's the customer compensation for the waste of their time. This is ridiculous. I surely hope the balancing and mounting goes well, outside of Boe having great customer service, understanding and overall being a nice person, this whole ordeal has been trash. **UPDATE** It is now 12:30 p.m. and they finally finished my car. In the process of attempting to balance the tires they broke my center cap with the Hyundai h on it. So it took from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to change four tires. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a tire business. read more

Called and booked an oil change appointment for 1:30 and made sure to tell the nice lady I talked to that I had to be at work by 3:45. She assured me I would be done by 3 and confirmed my appointment. I arrived at 1:25 only to be told that they are running behind and there are 3 cars ahead of me, they are running behind, and my car would not be ready until 4. Upon telling the man that I had made an appointment rather than doing a walk in was so that I could be able to arrive to work on time, he became extremely rude and condescending. Do not make appointments if you have somewhere to be as they are mere "suggestions" rather than the textbook definition of an appointment. read more

Website says you can schedule an appointment online. Then you get an email stating the scheduled appointment is actually a "request", not an actual appointment. Before the appointment time I had scheduled I received a voicemail from a very unfriendly sounding person stating if I didn't call them back they'll cancel my appointment this morning. I called back and he says there's actually no appointment for me today, reminded me to "read the email" and says I'll have to reschedule. What a complete waste of my time! My main go to when I'm in town. Mr. Kuzari was on duty when I brought my vehicle by for a tire pressure check. After he completed the check himself, he asked if he could assist with anything else. I had to take a business trip the next morning (this was a Sunday) so I asked if he could squeeze in an oil change. I've been using Firestone/Tires Plus for a little over 5 years and spent thousands of dollars across 6 vehicles and every time at this location in particular a male is talking to a female family member they give them the run around or tell them some BS that isn't anywhere near true, this last time was the final straw for me I will no longer recommend or use their services, we purchased my niece a used vehicle for her first car had it dropped off roughly a week and a half ago NOT a month ago, and then proceed to tell her she can't pick up her vehicle (I added her to my account I also relayed this to the guy who was supposed to be dealing with everything) she calls today to get the vehicle picked up and proceed to tell her she can't and that she can't use MY account that I added her to even though these are conversations we had previously before she even called to pick the vehicle up, I'm pretty sure I'm spelling her name incorrectly but Lanae (sorry if that's wrong) and Nicole are the only ones up there that seem to give a crap about YOUR customers, it's sad that they have to work in an environment like this because even though they have always treated me right the fact that my wife, my niece, and my mother in law have all been given the run around by every male service advisor that they have dealt with at this location I know the store manager won't do anything about this either as he lied just as well about the time The vehicle has been there. after buying a battery for a few hundred dollars not even two years later, I try to come back under warranty (also let me remind you if your battery is under warranty it is completely free even labor) the Firestone on W Flamingo said so but for some reason the S Maryland location has been screwing ppl over for years. It's the service request, not the actual performance of the techs. When you go on-line to book an appointment, if you later have a conflict, you can't change it. You have to call the store and have them re-book. Firestone needs to upgrade their computer system to allow customers to easily re-book their schedule. Take a lesson from the airlines! read more

Needed a flat fixed on my Jeep, went in had to come back later for appointment due to extended wait time. No problem. Come back hand over keys and 45+ min later service rep is telling me they cannot fix the flat on my tire since it is over 5 years old. So here I am total 1 hr+ time wasted. I ask the rep why they didn't check the age of the tire first. He ask the tech if the DOT label was on the inside or outside (Presumably to justify taking the tire off in order to read the label if it was on the inside. It was the outside. OK so that's a miss) I tell him the car is a 2001 and why didn't they check that first? He says something about didn't expect me to have tires that are 5+ years old, or that I could have bought newer tires regardless of the age of the vehicle. You guys are the tire experts and should know your own policies. Wasted my time. read more

Took my car to get a oil change, Gary helped me and told me he would give me a discount after I handed him the $10 off coupon, told him I wanted the full synthetic oil and explained to him I've never paid more than $75-90 for an oil change. Well when I come to pick up my vehicle, I was charged $106. Gary was too chicken shxt to come inside to talk to me, he was supposedly on his lunch. Thought I would give Firestone a second chance but they say one thing, do the service and when you come to pick up your car it's completely opposite. To the dealership I go, this is completely unacceptable. read more

Traveling through Vegas and ran into multiple car problems. I choose the Firestone on S Maryland Pkwy and I'm glad I did! They cleaned my evap system, new brakes and rotors and fixed an oil leak I had within just a day. I also had to apply for Firestone credit card and was approved easily and it helped being able to afford most of everything. Front desk and mechanics are amazing and very friendly. They helped me feel at ease with everything. 10/10. I have never been to a better shop before now. read more

Customer service isn't an issue at all but after 3 chances I will no longer be going to this location anymore. Sitting for 2 hours for an oil change is ridiculous. Especially when it was a scheduled appointment. I have been in this situation 3 separate times now where I show up for an app and it take 3 hours or more when I'm told it will take an hour to hour and a half. Today I sat for 2 hours and my car was parked the entire time not touched. I get things happen and I know today they had some injuries but 3 separate times? It's always something and people shouldn't be wasting their entire day for a 20 minute service. I wish the workers the best of luck and hopefully they get some help but if you're in a rush or want your car done in a decent time, I would go to another location. read more

I had a nail in my tire. I usually go to Big O if it's nearby. I went to one and because they were closing in 45 min (6 pm) they wouldn't take my service. Called another company in the area that was also closing in 45 min and they turned me away. Firestone closed at 7 and so I called and ask if they could take me and he said yes so I drove right over. For a woman with a nail in my tire and far from home, it was comforting knowing that this company was open and available to assist. Employees were polite and helpful. The people here seem like they barely want to help you when you come in with a flat tire. They don't help you remove your tire screws to put on your spare since they didn't have my tire model. I bought the tire that got a nail in it from them. They least could've done was help me in my time of need instead of acting like I wasn't even there and already stressed out because I needed to get back to Los Angeles. The technicians barely looked at me or asked if I needed help. Needs to be more customer friendly and oriented. read more

This is my favorite location but they could use an outdoor swing set for all the kids. The kids are louder than the drill tool in the shop haha! However.. The staff is really good, very friendly. They did a full inspection of my car and gave me a very comprehensive report of what I need to do, what is ok for now, and what is perfect on my car It was only 10 bucks and I got to watched the mechanic check my car, lift, check tires,batteriesetc. Was really great They didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need . I had a leak in my tire, which I bought at another firestone location. The staff here were able to get me back on the road, but I needed a replacement tire. And the kind of tire I had are not available in Las Vegas. The staff were able to find a replacement tire (the tires were still fairly new) and installed it on my car within 48 hours!
