Worst service ever to a 30 year customer twice this year. Vehicle went in for a leaky radiator recovery tank and after $2200 and 2 1/2 weeks of waiting, still has broken heater core. Very upset and disappointed as we had to continually call trying to get answers. Highly inflated prices for parts and service that was received. We do not recommend this shop to anyone! read more

I walked into Firestone today to get a new set of tires. I spoke with the store manager , Bing. I told him what I wanted and what my price range was. He supplied me with a set of tires that had a great warranty, at a price I could afford. He told me it would be about an hour for installation. An hour or so later, bing tells me my car is ready-and gives me some tips about tire maintenance. I think some of these reviews are silly, because they are only talking about quotes- and most didn't even get work done. Everyone knows that cars are expensive from the time you drive them off the lot. Tires and car maintenance are required for safety, and with all of the mail in rebates that are available, it amazes me how many people put a price on their (and their family's) safety. My battery had died at 9pm last night-I rushed to a super sketchy Autozone store before they closed at 10pm to buy a new one and after selling it to me, then told me they couldn't install it, lol. I went to this Firestone in the morning and they informed me the battery I had purchased wasn't even the correct battery for my vehicle! They got me the correct one and installed it right away while i waited. Plus it was $50 less than I paid for the other (!) and has a 5 year warranty! I will definitely be back here! Thank you again! Had a flat tire on my suv, took it in at 11:15am on 02/10/2023, Payton was the person taking care of me that day, I was going to replace 2 tires, got quotes for the 2 and agreed on the price. He said it was going to be about a 3-4 hour wait. Cool no problem, you have my number call me if anything changes. At 2:22pm I get a call saying I was quoted for the wrong tires, agreed on the new price. I call at 5:03pm and someone answers the phone and then hangs up. I go back down to Firestone and I see my suv still sitting up on the lift with the 2 tires off and my hood still open. I go in and speak with Payton and ask him how much longer and he goes and tells me,"let me check on that" he comes back and tells me that the delivery driver for ATD(American tire distribution) quit on his route so the tires will be in the next day.So I asked him, when it came to working on my SUV you didn't check to see if the tires came in or if any of the other mechanics received a tire order or even call ATD at the time when it came to workin on my vehicle? And then I asked him if he was gonna call me to let me know that my vehicle wouldn't be ready until the next day? Still no answer out of his mouth. He said he could put my old tire back on and patch it the best that they can but since the leak was on the sidewall knowing damn well that tire wasn't gonna last. The audacity to even suggest to put on a flat tire back on is wild to me. Asked him for 1 tire even if it was bigger by a little he said he couldn't. He didn't want to lose his job but I could've lost my life, plus my gf and daughter who were also with me in the vehicle or even someone else on the road could've been injured. Luckily the tire barely made it to the tire shop on Craig and lamb (live in that direction) where the mechanic there was able to get me 4 brand new tires for 300$ cheaper than what y'all were charging and replaced all 4 within 15mins by himself. Prolly the easiest 100$ tip ever just because of honesty and the attitude of gettin the job done and right. lol Firestone is a joke. They never but the spare tire back in place I had to and ask to recalibrate the tire location and really no time to do that. Carl was more than helpful he even researched And gave me an even lower price using price match . Romer was the one who serviced my car it was going to be an initial wait of several hours but I am about to pop and have a prenatal appt 2 hours later he accommodated me and got it installed and fixed in less than 1 hour 1/2 . Don't bother with this unprofessional shop. We had just spent a considerable amount of money to replace a LOT of suspension hardware on our car - upper and lower control arms, steering linkages, brakes, and shocks just for starters. We made an appointment and brought the car in to Firestone for a "lifetime" alignment because the mechanic who had done the suspension work didn't have an alignment machine. First, the girl (Andrea) at the desk copped an attitude when we paid in $100s. This is Vegas. Cash is king. You do thousands of dollars of business a day, you don't have $90 in change? We get the car back after 90 minutes, drive it home, but it pulls noticeably to the right, and the steering wheel is crooked. We go back to the shop, talk to one of the techs, he disappears for 10 minutes, and comes back to say they will try to fix it, but the brand new hardware we have installed is already "at it's limit". So why was this not communicated when you handed back the keys? Did you think we wouldn't notice the car wasn't aligned after paying over $200? Another 2 hours goes by before we get the car back. In the meantime, Andrea had come back from the bank and was loudly complaining to a coworker about how a customer had dared to pay in cash, and the trouble she had gone through to make change, and how she had to go to the bank, etc. This is in the showroom with other customers around, while we sat right there listening. How rude and unprofessional! The car gets pulled up a few minutes later, but no tech comes to talk to us. Andrea brings over the alignment printout and gives some non-explanation of why they can't get it fixed. Two alignment angles are very out of spec, they don't know why, they can't fix it without an aftermarket part. Too bad, so sad. They are very happy to take your money and blow your off, just don't bring large bills or you will get an extra serving of attitude. Hope the Firestone on the other side of town has better staff, and will honor the "lifetime" part of this debacle. read more

Despite the current Covid pandemic protocols, etc., Firestone on Maryland was safe & quick. All of the staff was friendly and my alignment was done within an hour (for an appointment made same day). It's still a little hard to find shops that will touch a Tesla Model 3, so I was glad they were confidently up to the task... Came in for a simple oil change and i understand it was full but was told over the phone to bring it in, However i was rudely turned away with a snobby response when i got there from an older white man with glasses that they are full until next week. 6/11/21- DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE!! They will take your money !! My husband took our jeep there to fix because our engine light went on, it didn't pass smog so they said to bring it in- they had our jeep for 8 hrs- $1500 later they said bring the jeep back after 100 miles and the sensor will active it self then we can do the smog test. We brought the jeep back at 7am on Thursday didn't get it back till Friday ( because they wanted more money), then they said oh you need spark plugs another $540 ( we did not pay) I said that does not sound right. What does spark plugs have to do with Engine lights? We have family members that work on cars, So our son call to speak with the manager- conversation was not good- so the manager said he will take our jeep out and leave the keys in them- really?!? In Feb. ALL Jeep owner's had updates - which this auto care did not review, so they didn't know what needed to be done. They were just ripping us off because the saw an " OLD WHITE MAN' that they can rip off from! Hey FireStone people, we from Hawaii and we don't play that game! Dont ever come here. You will wait 3.5 hours for just a changed tire. I was quoted an hour and a half. It literally took up my entire day. They gave us two "new" tires that were flat in 3 days and then when we went for our next oil change at our normal place they found a huge amount of grease smeared all over the back of our motor! I went to this shop because one of my tire got nailed it. I brought my car and I just wanted to repair it instead of replacing with a new tire. The two of workers looked at the tire which was nailed it, they told me that i must buy a new tire because the tire was not repairable. I asked them to check if there was air leak on the tire or not, however they ignored my request and gave me the price for a new tire. I was unhappy with their attitude so I brought my car to American Discount tire company. What they just did was spraying water on the spot that was nailed and the worker found that there was no air leak, so he pulled out the nail. Great service. Very accommodating and careful. I would give it five stars but the only draw back is. Cons: 1. They don't use sockets with wheel lug protectors, so there is a chance to scratch up painted or wheels with tight lug nut space. 2. The price is higher. I went in for just wheel balance and it was $76 for four wheels. Other places are $48. The price justification is life time wheel balance. Is a great deal, but what if I don't need life time wheel balance? Pros: 1. Later hours open till 8PM 2. Has plenty of techs working so the wait isn't bad 3. nice comfortable waiting area. 4. Nice shop, pleasant staff, good work. I came here to get my oil changed. Made an appointment, showed up, and they took care of me. It took a little longer than normal (around 45 minutes), but oh well. The staff were friendly both on the phone and in-person. Prices are okay, perhaps a bit high; I got a coupon for $10 off from the Firestone website. I like that they don't try and up-sell you on all kinds of junk (radiator flush, injector cleaner, blah blah blah) the way that Jiffy Lube does nowadays. The waiting area was clean and pleasant. Some of the chairs have built-in desks and cup-holders if you want to work or drink while you're waiting. They have free WiFi, which is a plus, but the connection speed is choppy. It averages 0.6 Mbps, but hangs up fairly often. There was a TV there that was blaring obnoxious soap operas, which was irritating. Anyway, I would gladly take my car to these guys again. read more

The service here at this location is very poor. Upon our arrival, the representatives did not greet us and just asked us to take a seat without being checked in. After we sat for about 15 minutes, I had to assert myself in asking when could we be checked in. We blew a tire which only needed to be replaced. Without anyone getting back to us, we had to wait 2 plus HOURS!!!! There were not many cars ahead of us and no one gave us an estimate time wait. I then decided to go to the store behind the establishment where I saw about 5 workers all huddled in a circle laughing and clearly not being proactive. I have been to Firestone a few times over the last year and a half or so, maybe it's time to write a review!! I was a graduate student at UNLV looking for a place to get an oil change that was close to school. The folks at Firestone were quick, friendly, and very professional. I later went for an alignment. I couldn't afford the unlimited alignment special and went with the one time deal. I didn't feel pressured or judged or harassed to spend more than I could, and that was really nice. Recently, I went to get two tires since there was a nail in my front one and it was about time to switch two out. Shelby was prompt, helpful, and so personable. It's really important to me as a woman that I feel comfortable, safe from haggling or feeling ripped off, and talked to like an adult. It was really nice and very typical of my experiences there. I will surely go back to them for my next oil change and any other car needs. read more

This place will rip you off! Went in for a simple brake change and was told it would cost me $1200.00 yes you read that right $1200.00 for brakes! I guess because I am a women taking my car in they think I have stupid written on my forehead! I was told that my brakes had gotten so bad that it was grinding into the metal and that my rotors could not be resurfaced. Yeah ok I also told them that my front brakes had been the problem but was told all 4 needed replaced. I was not about to pay up the a** for brakes. I got charged a fee for them putting my car back together before I left. I went down the street to pepboys and got my brakes taken care of and my fluids flushed for $283 out the door and they were even nice enough to actually show me what needed done and yes I was right it was my front breaks, rotors resurfaced and bam out the door in a little over an hour. He told me that it may take a few hours because he only had two technicians working in the back. (Dropped off the van at 8.) He calls me at 9:55 and let's me know that my vehicle is ready. He also checked my vehicle for me as a second opinion and found nothing wrong with the car. Great customer service, and an honest & friendly staff!
