I have been a customer at this location for years. I kept coming back because Carlos had great customer service and he was transparent with everything. This all changed during my last service. I called to schedule a service for my car and my wife's. Alex was the one who made the appointment. When I asked how much it would be for a 90k-mile service, but he couldn't tell me and said to look it up on a third-party website. The general mood on the phone was apathy and annoyance. When I asked if Carlos was available Alex said he was not. We came for our service and Alex was running the deck. Again he had an attitude like we were inconveniencing him. Once the service was completed, I asked questions about some of the results and couldn't get a straight answer. "why is the coolant low? Is that a sign of a bigger problem?" "It depends." I asked if Carlos was in and he said no. I also noticed the normal service for my car was more expensive. I checked how much I paid previously. It went from $80 to $133. When I called and asked they said it was inflation. I know inflation is high, but 70% seems outrageous. Also when we got home my wife's trunk wouldn't open. Even though we had just got back from the shop, I didn't think they had anything to do with it because they didn't do any service on the trunk. It turns out my wife's car has a trunk lock switch in the glove box. They had to remove the glove box to replace the cabin air filter. When they did that they somehow broke the switch and now the trunk couldn't open. I called and explained it to Alex. He said we'd have to bring it in so they could check it out. When we arrived he handed us a paper to sign and took a phone call. When I read the paper it said it would cost $85. I waited until he got off the phone and asked him about the charge. He said he couldn't see the vehicle without charging a service fee. I asked him why he was charging us a service fee for the damage they caused. He said it was their policy and there was nothing he could do about it. We went back and forth a little bit. I asked for Carlos and again he said he wasn't available. At this point, I was getting a little angry so I decided to leave. I tried calling the next day and Alex answered. I asked for Carlos and he said he wasn't available and asked for a message. I could tell he knew it was me so I told him I was the guy from yesterday and wanted to talk to Carlos. He said he'd take my information, but I declined. The next day I received a text message explaining how they normally charge a service fee, but in my case, they'd wave it if I brought the car back in. I texted them back and said it was too little too late and they not only lost my wife and my business, but also my mother-in-law. I drive by 10 auto shops on the way to theirs but choose them because of the excellent service I've received in the past. This one incident ruined it for me. Now it's time to find another shop. I took my car to the dealership to find out that these people installed my break system incorrectly. When I got them , I had to go back 2 days after getting them installed bc there was a horrible noise coming from the car. They said something was crooked and fixed it that same day. AN ENTIRE YEAR LATER I find out I've been driving with my break clips BACKWARDS. I called to talk to them and they refuse to listen and not take accountability. These people are incompetent, smoke way too much weed on their breaks and come back to put clips backwards on your vehicle. I guess they found their mechanics on Craigslist's. read more

I came in this afternoon to get an oil change after finding them on Groupon. I'm well aware that Groupon takes the majority of their money so I always ask before ordering. He rudely responded that I have to buy the Groupon, so I did. Then when I went to show him the voucher he says I purchased the wrong one and that I need synthetic oil vs semi synthetic (the one I purchased). He was rude and condescending and I will not be back. Now I get to fight with Groupon to get it reimbursed. So here I am sitting in the parking lot and their service bay is empty. Do not go here, they take advantage and have terrible customer service. I've beening going to precision auto for several years so I am a repeat customer. However I was very displeased with their lack of transparency. I recently had my sons toyota towed to their business for an inspection to see what it would cost to get it working properly again. I was never told there would be a substantial fee just to check the car out. I did get a text with a summary of the work that needed to be done and was appalled at the price. I decided to have it towed to another place where the cost to repair car was much lower. However before they would release the car they wanted $153 which they dropped to $99. First off, limped my vette into the shop with alternator failing and my ac blowing hot air. Oh did I mention it was 111 degrees outside. Yeah, not good. I found Auto Zones diagnostics more credible and there FREE!!! I was given a quote for a Front complete strut assembly parts & install for a 2005 Ford Focus amount totaled $630. Parts were $422 of the amount. But as a women I like to price compare. I found the strut assembly on Rock Auto for $37.89 each and a few dollars for S&H $80 vs $422.... yeah right! Save yourselves time and money by learning how to repair something new on your own vehicle and keep your money in your pocket. Wasted over $200+ just so they could get commission off of me. I never ever write reviews on yelp but here's my first! My car's been leaking and the tech said it had to do with my axle seal and I needed to get my transmission fluid exchanged. Took his word for it only to realize my car still has the same problem! He told me to give it a week or two because it could be the excess leak prior to the "work" done. Finally heard of someone who's a pro tech on Nissans and found out that Precision didn't install the axle seal properly!!!! They also used Dexron instead of NS2-CVT fluid...hopefully my transmission wasn't affected! On top of the problems Precision never fixed, my current tech found additional problems that Precision didn't find: Rear motor mount Pass axle seal Trans air dam Rf control arm Lf control arm Lf strut Pass motor mount Radiator bushings Thank God my Extended Warranty covered almost everything and I'm glad I found out about the guy who fixed the problem! I replaced a bunch of parts in my front end, and needed an alignment. (Upper, Lower ball joints, inner, outer tie rod ends with new adjusting sleeves, Pitman arm, and Idler arm). I had bought a deal off livingsocial.com, not seeing till afterwards it was for Toe only. When I made my appointment, I explained this and asked that the difference in cost would be for the complete alignment. I was told by Carlos that they would have to check it first and it depended on the degrees. I have never gotten that answer on an alignment before. Should have been a standard rate to set Caster, camber and Toe. When I showed up for my appointment Monday, I once again explained I needed a full alignment, and asked the difference in price. It never got an answer, and they just set toe. After the completed, I was told it drove the same, and needed new tires, and new anti sway bar bushings, and possibly the anti sway bar.(This would not affect actual alignment, it would affect handling and stability. Will attach links to pictures, They have 250k miles on the bushings, and do have some cracking but are intact.) The tires I had just recently put on. i know the steering was overly sensitive when I brought for the alignment, because both tires had too much toe out. After the alignment, which they will not guarantee, the steering wheel sits at 11 O'clock when driving straight ahead. It will track straight ahead without steering input, but the steering wheel was not properly centered when alignment was done. If you need reliable honest auto service, go anywhere but here ! If you look back beyond the handful of artificial reviews up top, you'll notice they have a long history of ripping people off this way. In re: Darryl, Area Manager of Precision Tune Auto Care; There is nothing "special order" that magically explains a $40. (retail) air conditioning line transforming into a $252. "special order part" except a no good criminal such as yourself. Not to mention it is a well known fact that auto repair shops get a discount from retail price and free delivery from local parts vendors. If you believed in "being transparent" as you claim, your estimate would clearly state your standard hourly shop rate for installation and the estimated time for each. Labor of $140. for each when both could be replaced in well under a half hour, and you already marked up the parts insanely ?? When I spoke to "Alex" in your store, less than an hour after the deposit was made, he stated that a refund would be issued back to card, not an "in-store credit". You are all no-good criminals and if I have to rent a full size billboard near your store to inform others, that is what I will do. PS: I am also "sorry to hear" that you somehow think you are going to just get by with keeping $500. for services not performed and cancelled within the hour !! I usually drop my car off and walk to the gym and I get a call whenever it's done. I recently did a 120k maintenance work on my car and asked to see if they can check my tires since I kept having to put in air every week. When I got the tires checked at Wal-mart (twice), they saw nothing wrong with it. Carlos not only found the leak, he patched it up with no extra charge.
