This review is long over due. I have used Tire Choice since they were Superior Tire, I believe since like 2016. I work with Tim, who is now at the Trop location on the southwest side of town. He's my go to mechanic and knows me very well. Unfortunately I had to leave Tim because I moved to the opposite end, on the East side of town now. Fortunately, they have a Tire choice close to me on this side as well. The guys here, Jeff, Dustin, and Dakota have been nothing short of amazing for me. They are genuinely kind and try to help you out as much as they can. I'm so glad that this location has another crew that I love! Good people and honest mechanics are hard to come by. This is my personal experience with them. I'm sad I can't go to Tim, but these guys sure make up for it! They take care of me just as well as Tim does. If they fixed your car and there is an issue, as long as it was done by them, they will take care of it. Just be kind about it. I won't take my car anywhere else. They don't try to rip you off either. I'm a female but my father was a mechanic so I know what's good and what's not. I also do my own due diligence when it comes to repairs and parts. Anyway, I can't say enough about how helpful they have been to me with all the other life issues I've been hit with recently. They've definitely contributed to making life a bit easier for me. So I come in with 4 used tires that I bought from a reputable tire shop (not some guy on facebook) and the guy says he can't mount used tires. "Company Policy". But they fix flats, so don't they have to re-mount the tire? If you have a bad valve they can't change it for you? If I get a flat and have a used spare they'll sent me on my way? Worse is that he tried to send me to some Mexican place; implying that this is some sort of industry-wide policy and no reputable place will mount used tires even with 7.5-8 tread. I got the tires for under $600 ($1400 for new ones) but now I was panicked. I didn't contemplate that I wouldn't be able to get them mounted. Of course I called Discount Tires and they said "No problem, come on over". I could barely find a spot in the Discount Tire parking lot and this place was dead empty. I wonder why. read more

Got two tires and a tire rotation back in February 2023. They over tighten a total of 3 wheel lug nuts and studs. Tried to get a tire rotation today, only to find out that the back right had 2 lug nuts and studs that were over tighten this being broken. And back in June, when replacing the front rotors and brake pads, one of the lug nuts on the front right tire broke and needed to be replaced. Careful of this place, a simple tire rotation turned to two expensive fixes! read more

I scheduled an oil change for my car , and asked the attendant if they can check my transmission oil he said yes. After 30 minutes he comes and tells me he needs to show me something about my car, I followed him and the two front tires were cracked close to the rim. We came back inside and I asked him do I still have warranty? He said let me check, he said theres nothing with your number I told him I bought them here I didn't remember exactly when got the paperwork from my car and even with the receipt he said I don't show anything!!! Then he tried too sell me brakes, a transmission flush, balancing and I asked him about my tires he said I don't even have them in stock maybe Monday because it the holidays? Then again he tried selling service for the transmission I told him if I don't have tires what would , would new oil do for me at this moment!! He kind laughed and his like but you need it, he was very un attentive, rude and sarcastic I don't think I will be doing business here anymore more it went from great to worst!! read more

This one is for you Aaron. I have a Porsche Cayenne, my battery needed to be replaced. Or so I thought. Dropped my car off. Cars ready few hours later but there's another issue.. After going through hell and back Aaron and whoever else figured out the starter was also bad. So bad it was draining even my new battery. Being a Porsche, I was hesitant. It's a lot of work, so I pulled the car out of Good Year and went to Porsche. Where I normally go, but the battery deal good year had was amazing. Over a week after I dropped it at Porsche, they call and say, 'Its your starter' and double the estimate price I got from Aaron. Since I already knew that... The very next morning I found myself back at Good Year dropping it off again. Long story short, best work I've had on my car since I've owned it. I'll never go anywhere else. I just drove in one of my cars to make sure the front right tire is still in good condition. This morning I had discovered this tire to be almost flat due to a thick nail which was inserted into the threads. A very enthusiastic and young African American man ( working in the shop / not the front counter ) immediately approached me and offered to checked my tire pressure right away. He jacked up my car, removed the front right tire and tested it in floating water. For my delight, the tire passes and is good BUT that is not the main point of this review. None of the employees, including the front counter employee used any high pressure sales tactic on me which is very common in these businesses. I specially commend the African American technician for his enthusiasm and passion for his work. He puts so much love and pride to his work and service. Where to even start...? I hit a curb the day before New Years Eve and blew two flats. Looking back, where it all happened was fate because I ended being right across the street from Superior Tire which made an awful situation that much less awful. One of the employees I came to know really well (I'm literally the worst with names) saw my dilemma and actually came out of the shop over to my car. In the panicked state that happens after you completely destroy your tires, it hadn't occurred to me to just bring my car across the street... luckily this employee (again, so bad with names) saved me from calling my insurance for a tow. He got my car set up at the shop and even got me a ride home. LONG story short, there was additional damage to the car (I expected this) so I had to wait for the parts to be delivered. Mind you this was over a holiday so wait times were longer than normal but they did a really good job keeping me updated and informed. I called like a million times and every time they were patient and explained everything to me without getting frustrated or annoyed. When my car was finally ready, I went to pick it up and that's when they discovered my driver side mirror wasn't working properly. (It'd been broken for a while but ignorance is bliss ya know?) Anyways, at this point after having so much work done on my car I figured, "may as well just fix the window too." So I called the company that originally replaced my window and they were giving me the run around- basically trying to avoid any warranty claims. While I was dealing with the window company, the owner of Superior Tire was actually on the phone getting quotes/info from another glass company he knew to be fair and reliable. Just knowing my situation and what I'd been through with the car he called just to be helpful... he didn't have to and I never once even asked. Not just that, but after I explained how utterly useless the glass company was being about the window, he stepped in to basically handle it all for me. He made it so that I didn't have to wait longer for my car, pay outrageous fees or haggle about my warranty. I can't even begin to explain how much stress that took away... I would and will absolutely, 100% recommend this spot to anyone for literally any car issue. Every single staff member is kind, helpful and patient. It's not everyday (basically never) that you have someone who really takes the time to empathize with your situation and go out of their way to be helpful. This place knows how to treat a customer! I'm so grateful for everyone at this Superior Tire. No review could do this place justice. read more

I wish I could give them negative reviews! I went to the Sunset location today because I bought all 4 tires from this company (different location) with the insurance/warranty. The guy at the Sunset location tells me that he needs to verify my purchase, I totally understand. He contacts the Tropicana location where I bought the tires and he says oh yea I know her she is in here every week for a new tire but on a different car. First of all I do not own another car so that is a lie! He supposedly eventually gets the receipt of purchase and proceeds to tell me that they cannot honor the warranty/insurance because of the condition of the 1 tire that I had a blowout on. He says the condition of the tire does not qualify even though I am not even close to the mileage on the warranty. He tried to sell me a bunch of things so my boyfriend asked kindly to put back on the spare tire and to put air in it and we will be on our way. They half assed backed out my car from the bay and did not even put air in my spare tire. As I was about to drive away, another tech there stopped me and said wait, let me put air in your spare tire for you. So they were going to let me drive off unsafely all because I would not purchase tires or any service from him. I need to thank highly the one employee who cared enough to stop me to add air to my spare but the rest of them are very unprofessional and could care less for the customer. read more

I have been going to this location for over 15 years. When I first started going here it was just Goodyear Tires. They closed for a couple of years and I was devastated. But then, they reopened as Superior Tires! Even though the sign was different, I decided to come back and I was so glad I did. They still have the same amazing service. About two years ago they changed to Tire Choice. I was so happy to see that even though the sign was changed again, the people inside did not. Kris is outstanding and has provided me and my family excellent service for years now. Kris isn't the only one there though, everyone I have talked to there has been amazing. My car tire light came on, and I had to look up a place quick to get it fixed. Luckily this shop is only a few miles from my apartment. Called them around 8am to see if there was a chance to bring my car in that morning, and sure enough they were available. Brought my car in and told them the situation, and they were able to fix my problem, free of charge! Hopefully nothing too serious is wrong with my tires, but they said I can always bring it back if the problem still occurs. My family wanted to take a small mini trip to Logandale and I needed my oil changed. Every shop in proximity had over an hour wait time. This shop wasn't too far from me so I called and they said there wasn't a wait time so I drove right over. Matt was very friendly and I was in and out in 45 minutes. He said I should get my tires replaced but that I still had a few months before they give out. He wasn't pushy about trying to sell me tires or getting other things done to the car. I liked that. I tip my hat off to Bobby the mechanic because in the end, he is the one that got my truck in tip top shape. Also to Ken the floater, Carl the Manager and Robert. These guys are amazing! I just got here 3 weeks ago from Colorado and my Goodyear in Colorado did not do me justice. I think they did their best but the shop is full of young 20 somethings who couldn't get the job done. I had gotten new tires with the old Goodyear back in October, 3 wheel alignments in less than 8 months & shocks and struts. All that and my truck swayed back and forth, shuck out of control at only 40 mph and honestly just felt like it was just going to fall apart. Ken got me a great discount on a new set of Silent Armors because my old ones were lemons (which caused all the problems), Carl has a heart and took care of me like I was family and they got me on the road and now my 2006 Pathfinder drives like new!!! On my way to Vegas from Orange County, my back rear tire had decided to shred itself into pieces. Being stuck in the middle of the desert, with humid heat, by myself was not a great start of the trip already. After calling a tow truck service to replace the tire with the spare, the tow truck had recommended Ted Wiens Tires for cheap tires. I was pretty exhausted and looked up Ted Wien - I wasn't impressed. So my boyfriend decided to look up other tire stores and found Superior Tire about 5 miles away from the strip. We called the store and the sales associate named Matt was extremely helpful over the phone. When we met up with Matt, he carefully inspect the rest of my tires. He was pretty honest on which ones needed replacing and which ones didn't. He was very reasonable, friendly, and approachable. This definitely turned my Vegas trip around. Now, I can feel safe about driving back to California and know that there's a nationwide warranty in case anything happens to my new tires. What a find! When my tire warning light came on I was in search of a place to check it out. Just happened by this business in my neighborhood. The two gentlemen I spoke with were friendly and promptly took care of me. Checked all four tires which were low, & added air. No charge even! (Side note; had recently taken car to Henderson jiffy place for oil change and tire rotation a couple weeks ago. Can't believe all four tires were low so soon. Am modest driver.) (My regular auto service place is on the west side) I found great reviews as well as an online coupon for Superior Tire & Service. When I called to check availability and make an appointment, Karl joyfully answered the phone and advised me to come on down and that there was no wait. Upon my arrival, I was greeted once again by a very positive and pleasant staff. Matt was very helpful and made the entire process a positive experience. I was advised of future service and maintenance that my vehicle will need, but NEVER was I pressured for the "up sale." Took my wife's car here today for new brakes. We dropped it off and went to lunch while waiting. Joey called me to inform me my wife's brakes were fine but needed new tires. He gave us a great deal and had the car ready in an hour. Next we dropped my car off for new brake pads (I've never changed them in 3 years I've owned the car). Joey called once again to let me know the pads had at least 50-60% left on them and new pads weren't necessary. They balanced the air in my tires and didn't charge me a thing. They could have easily charged me for a brake job because I was certain I needed them. Very honest and polite people here. I will definitely drive the extra distance from my new house to come to this location. read more
