    Called yesterday, explained my concerns to Clayton who answered the phone. He made an appointment for me today. I arrived on time and was greeted kindly, and professionally by Clayton. My vehicle information was in their system. Clayton contacted my warranty company, and my car was in the bay right away. Big Plus I was able to do my state inspection there. This is definitely going to be my go to for everything. The customer service is just above and beyond. My vehicle was diagnosed today, and they found no errors. they were able to give me some helpful tips in case my issue does come up again .I was extremely happy leaving and feeling personally taken care of.     I called on Saturday at 0700 to get my Tahoe in for a tire replacement due to hitting a bad spot on the road. Firestone said I could drop it off but it would be there all day since they were booked up. They also offered to make an appointment for Monday at noon and it would take 30 minutes. So I made an appointment. Today, after three hours of being there, the Tahoe is finally done. However, I do recognize they were shorthanded but should have just recommended the Tahoe be dropped off rather than wait. Three hours is an absurd time to wait for a 30 minute tire change. Firestone also replaced a "broken" TPMS but the service desk person said Firestone couldn't program it because the "dealer has to do it". THEN when walking out a technician open the sliding glass door said to go to another Firestone and they could do it. WHAT! Come to find out there calibrator was broken... "the machine crashed", not that they couldn't do it. The service desk person was confused or just extremely incompetent. So all along, just like the last 6 years of using Firestone for my tires, Firestone does have the ability to replace TPMS on my Tahoe and calibrate it. I am beyond frustrated with the employee who works at the service desk. I have used Firestone for over the last six years for tire service and will continue to. BUT I have NEVER had an issue with any Firestone. Being on active duty I've used Firestones all over the country. This is the first time I've had to deal with an incompetent Firestone employee. Also come to find out I called the wrong Firestone. Meaning I intended to call another location. I normally use the one off E Whitestone BLVD. HUGE MISTAKE on my part. I've never had a problem with them. In fact, they have exceeded my expectations multiple times. I am beyond frustrated with the experience today but in no way does it reflect other Firestones. UPDATE: so this is the TPMS that was damaged. QUESTION... then why was my brass valve stem cap no damaged? Firestone I really need answers and the manager is out for a week.

    From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and helpful! Luke helped check me in and made sure the tires were the right ones I ordered and that they would drive right on my jeep. Then Jason the tech went out of his way to help me and checked on all the little things that might be giving me the notorious "death wobble!" He tightened up everything on my front end to hopefully help with it, and I am so grateful for the great service he provided! Overall the service was superb and the pricing was just as good! They also offer military discount which is a huge deal for me and my husband when we go places because you would be surprised how many places don't! Even if it's small it's the thought that counts for us. I will definitely be going here from now on for all my tire needs, thanks yall! Keep up the great work!!

    My 2012 Toyota Tundra (AKA "The Beast), needed some service done. Now I normally take care of all…read moremy maintenance such as brakes, tune up's etc. I have a trust issues with other mechanics and dealerships. But this was fluid service, (the nasty stuff) trans fluid flush and fill, brake fluid flush, rear differential drain and fill, + my AC wasn't cooling as well. I did my homework and gathered about 5 estimates for this service from local shops and Toyota dealerships. Prices were coming in anywhere from $1000 - $1500. I stopped in at Christian Brothers in Leander on Sonny Drive and spoke to Brandon. He text me a written quote, which came out about half of what the other shops were asking. They also give a "Veterans/First responders" discount. Their work was professional, and they communicated with me all the time. They sent a video of a free service inspection of my truck, pointing out any areas of concern. I think I've found my back up mechanic for anything I can't do or just don't want to. I have documentation showing I received consistent oil changes and maintained the vehicle. If Christian Brothers is going to make that public statement, I am requesting that you provide the specific records, dates, inspection findings, and supporting documentation you are relying on to claim neglect. My concern remains the same: I paid for major repairs, the vehicle failed shortly after, and my concerns were not meaningfully investigated. I am not asking for assumptions -- I am asking for documentation, accountability, and a fair resolution. The central issue is the timing. I drove my vehicle without engine failure for months before bringing it to your shop. After relying on your diagnostics and authorizing nearly $4,000 in repairs, I picked the vehicle up and the engine failed within a day. Given that timeline, attributing the failure to "years of neglect" without supporting documentation is an overreaching conclusion that appears designed to shift blame rather than address my concerns. I repeatedly informed the shop that I was preparing for a long trip and wanted everything thoroughly checked before approving repairs. I was told further diagnosis could not be completed until the turbo work was done. After the repairs, I was told the vehicle was good to go, which led me to believe all necessary inspections had been completed. The engine failed within a day of pickup, which is why I continue to question whether everything was properly diagnosed before the vehicle was returned to me. _____________________ My experience with Christian Brothers Automotive Leander has been extremely frustrating. I brought my Hyundai Tucson in for major repairs totaling nearly $4,000. Before authorizing the work, I specifically asked that the vehicle be thoroughly diagnosed and that any known issues or potential issues be identified so I could make informed decisions. Shortly after the repairs were completed, the vehicle developed severe engine knocking and became inoperable. The timing alone was alarming. I expected the shop to take my concerns seriously and work collaboratively toward answers. Instead, I was largely left to manage the situation myself while dealing with towing expenses, rental costs, missed work concerns, and the stress of being stranded with my child. The biggest issue for me has been customer service after the failure occurred. Communication became difficult, and I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than investigated

    I took my 2021 Subaru to AEW in December of 2023 to have the windshield washer hose replaced. The…read morewindshield washer fluid was leaking out of the car. They determined that a rodent had eaten part of the hose! So they replaced the hose to the front washer and told me they didn't know where to route the hose to the back window washer. Kurt said it was working fine on the front window now, and I told him the back window could wait. When I got home, I popped the hood and noticed there was no washer fluid in the reservoir, so I poured the gallon of new fluid in. I went into the house to tell my wife I was home, and then came back out about 10 minutes later to discover almost all the new fluid was running out into my garage and down the driveway. I called Kurt and he said he couldn't understand how that was happening, but he would "get back with me" to arrange for an inspection. Move ahead 6 MONTHS LATER, still no call back from A&E. I try to email them through the web site they list on Yelp, and it says the web site no longer exists! I try to email him, and the email bounces back. So I place a request for service here on YELP again, and 3 or 4 other places answer, but not A&E. So my only thought is that they sold the place and it's under new management? I don't know, but they did NOT fix the problem, they never contacted me again as promised, and the did not respond to the request sent to them through YELP. I ended up fixing the problem myself for $8.00. The second line, that he did not fix and that he told me "would not matter if I don't want to use the rear window washer" had a big hole it as well. When I filled up the reservoir, the weight of the fluid in the full tank caused the water to start syphoning out through that hole in the tube - once it was low enough (i.e. almost empty), it would stop and there would be enough fluid left to wash the front windows several times. They were all very friendly the first time I visited and I thought we had a good working relationship, but it turns out they didn't want to fool with the car although they really did NOT fix my problem and I was never able to contact them again. I don't know what their problem is, but I cannot recommend them as a reliable automobile service.
