I had an appointment today at 10am, my car is still sitting in the parking lot and I'm still waiting. When I asked how much longer it would be, with an attitude the guy said after they finished a wheel alignment. What do you make an appointment for? I'm still sitting and waiting, Update, when I asked after 2 hrs what the status was, I was told that they opened another bay, which is different from what I was told previously. 3 hrs goes by, I stood by the service door and when the technician saw me, that's when he started taking the nuts off of the tires. Went to Firestone due to noise while driving, headlight out and squeaky brakes. Walk in and "Barry" greeted me with a smile. I advised on what I had noticed. Barry assured me that they would take care of the issues and inform me of cost and inspect the car for further repairs. This was reassuring, I felt comfortable discussing the repairs. Ladies, Barry will talk to you like you are very aware of how to operate a vehicle! Unlike the 99% of Males speak to you like your Dumb when discussing repairs in your car. I have been to this location twice as it is the closet location to my home. Both to have a tire changed where I purchased the replacement from the location. Staff is perfectly friendly, its a generic mechanic. However just know that they are a "first come first serve" establishment. So despite my having made an appointment for 3 pm a day in advance of my car being towed here (and having it towed there hours before hand with an arrival of 12:30ish give or take) when I called for an estimate for when work would be completed at 4:30, I was told it hadn't been started yet...because "first come first serve" I was also told it may not be competed that day. So what was the point of making the appointment? They did get it done, and quickly after I pointed out that I had in fact, made an appointment and that that wasn't really reasonable. But still worth noting if you, like me don't have just all the time in the world to be without your car. read more

I only went here because it was convenient and on my warranty services list. Went in for tire rotation and oil change. That is all they did too. I am definitely going back to ALL4TIRES. These people do the bare minimum, are rude and don't even check tire pressure after tire rotation. Never, ever again. Go somewhere else, pay less and get better service. read more

I don't ever seem to have much like at Firestones, but they did provide the tires for my car, so when I had a nail in one (just under 3,000 miles later), I had to return to one to get it switched out. I went to a Firestone on my way home from work and they didn't have the same tire that I needed, so they sent me to this location. It took awhile for me to find the correct paperwork for the tires, and they couldn't easily find me online either, because my family has multiple Subarus and apparently telling a Crosstrek from an Outback, or looking at a VIN number is just not something they can do. Fast forward 15 minutes, we finally have it all figured out and they realize that they do indeed have the tire I need, and that because I have so few miles on my new tires, it's only like $13 to replace it. I then asked if I could also get my free rotation since I was close to 3k miles, and they said no problem. Now I get that we're in a pandemic so we were all spaced out and I spent more time outside than inside, but it took forever, even once I got started, and then I had to remind them that I wanted a tire rotation after they were done giving me a new tire because they had forgotten. It was a long evening, I just wanted to get home, and with no free coffee or any kind of amenities, it was just a drag. At least it's done, and now hopefully I can avoid them for a good while to come! read more

Came in to the shop to get a full vehicle inspection and wheel alignment. Barry was very helpful with helping me figure out what services to go with and was also very friendly as well. Noah was the mechanic working on my car and he took the extra steps to visually show me the state of my car and present to me its condition. At this location they were extremely professional and it didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. I don't know her name, but the lady that gets your information and you give your key to was super polite and welcoming. Randy was the mechanic that helped me and he called me to ask for additional information on how my car has been acting up in order for him to be able to find out more about what the issue may be, came to the solution, provided estimates, and explained how the issue may have occurred. This is my second time trying Firestone service centers and my 2nd disappointment. I took my car here on Friday(7/30) after making an online appointment early in the morning and even received an email stating, "If your requested appointment date becomes unavailable, we will contact you directly to discuss rescheduling to a time that's convenient for you." I got no call, no other email telling of that they were backed up. Nothing! So I go about my day, *leave work early*, go home to pick up the car I need A/C service done on, *and drive the 30 min to this Firestone in 95 degree GA weather* only to be told they have no time for me and that the first excuse that could be thought of is that the online appointment system is down. If true, the system being down and having no safeguard against having people drive to your location for bogus appointments is a reflection of this company's level of service. I ended up driving to a Goodyear service center in the area to set up an appointment for the following week. After hearing my Firestone story this shop worked some things around and got me in that day without me even asking them too. You all can learn something from Goodyear, this is how you get customer. I rarely leave reviews but this place is complete garbage. I took my car to fix a radiator hose, and I picked the vehicle back up with 5 different electrical problems that I had never had an issue with. I left my car there for another two weeks and finally when I called the manager, Barry told me that the car was ready and what was I waiting for. He said that they were not responsible for electrical issues and that they never touched anything having to do electrical. That was exactly my point, if i took the car for something NON- electrical related and receive the car back with a bunch of electrical issues then how the hell are they not responsible? Issues consisted of, blinkers, emergency lights, window panels, headlights not working and to top it all off, the car is reading that a door is opened when it's s not, that was just ridiculous. What pisses me off more is that I trusted in their work, and that was my biggest mistake. That issue could potentially cost me thousands to fix on a bmw. My recommendation is to NEVER bring a car to firestone especially this half ass location. I called to dispute and file a complaint and corporate never got back to me, it's insane how these companies get away with stuff like this and there is no accountability. Worst experience at a mechanic shop by far, always take your car to a certified tech especially euro cars, theres a reason why the makes of vehicles tell you to bring them back to the original brand mechanic. In the end what might be cheaper up front could potentially cost you way more later on down the road. read more

My wife went to this Firestone Complete Auto Care because this is the only store that carried the brand/type of tires that she was looking for. Sure enough, they tried ripping my wife off the entire time. First, she was told that the tires she needed couldn't be purchased WITHOUT the "limited warranty" ($50 per tire). Then, she was told that the tire alignment would cost her $200. I had to call them just to hear it for myself. They retracted and said that's for the "alignment package" and not for the standard tire alignment (which was never mentioned). Lastly, after checkout, they marked her air filter and oil as "yellow" (needs to be replaced). Of course, this is not true. I got her oil AND air filter changed two weeks ago. They rebutted by saying it's based on the miles on the car and the manufacturer's recommendation -- they didn't actually inspect the oil or air filter. Stay away from this establishment. read more

Extremely slow service. Had my tires replaced at discount tire within 45 minutes. Came here at 8:50 with an appointment at 9:00 for a wheel alignment and I'm told I have to wait two hours. If you have to wait 2 hours with and appointment then might as well walk in to another store. read more

Dropped my car off yesterday for front brakes, 4 new tires and an oil change. I received a call yesterday afternoon informing me that they would be closing early so to staffing issues and that all my lug nuts had to be replaced due to them being stripped. I have the go ahead for repairs. It is now the next day at 1:52, I have not received a phone call and the door is locked and the lights are off. IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE, OR YOUR VEHICLE, DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. We took my car in here after hitting one of Atlanta's finest mini-canyons on 10th downtown. So we needed an alignment. The people who worked there promised they had done the alignment, and tried to sell us new tires. What they did NOT do was far worse than what they did, which wasn't spectacular. After being told that we had hit a pothole and that's why we needed the alignment, they failed to check the wheel for dents, or, in this case, a FOUR INCH CRACK. Let's face it, I don't know shit about cars, but I know this isn't good. So, as a good little girl, I googled. Here's what I found out about the dangers of driving on a cracked rim: "...catastrophic failure of the wheel while at highway speeds. Crack propagation is very fast and very violent in (rim) material... " YIKES. Could I have ended up dead because they didn't listen to WHY I had the car there? Did they not drive it after they "aligned" it? Or did they just take my cash and claim to have done the work? I'm going with the latter, most likely. I visited this location for the first time today. At first I was a little "concerned" when it looked like they were going to take a Caucasian customer's car into the bay BEFORE mine, but I relaxed once I noticed there were other bays and my Cadillac CTS was serviced at the same time. I normally use Mobile One, but they use a brand of synthetic oil I'd never heard of before (but I'm not a car person). I was completely thrown off by the fact that they charge one price for the first five quarts of oil and then they charge you by the 10th of a quart for the final quart. Is $10.60 for a (one single) quart of oil expensive? I was told my car was done, but as soon as I turned the car on, the computer told me I needed to change my oil. I brought that to their attention and they reset the computer to 100% right way. The sticker they put on the windshield was accurate and showed my next oil change in 6,000 miles...which is good. Also on the good side was the coupon I was given for a $15.00 mail in (or online) rebate. Which makes the cost of the servicing a lot more agreeable than some of the other places I've gotten oil chances in Smyrna or Marietta. They had a nice assortment of pamphlets on car servicing such as tire rotations, mounting, etc. Free coffee, free wifi, a television, and a hearty "Good morning" made me feel nice about using them for the first time. I'm a iPhone user and was appreciative when the manager suggested their app for monitoring/maintaining service visits. Some training my be in order though because the information that was provided to me wasn't consistent among employees. One employee didn't tell me about the mail-in rebate ($15.00 in savings should be a strong selling point), the other didn't tell me about the app that was available. When I went up to pay my bill, I was the only customer in the store, so "being busy" was not an issue. Overall, I'd say it was a nice (clean) location and everyone (even the grease-monkeys) were pleasant and called me "Sir" at every interaction. I WOULD VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN, but I want to give Goodyear a try before I make my final decision as to who I'll take my continuing business to. In closing I'd like to say JIFFY LUBE GO TO HELL. I was charged for work they DIDN'T DO and the corporate offices were no help. I'll never EVER go to jiffy lube EVER again as long as I breathe air. I have never been taken better care of by any Retail Store much less a car service spot. When you go in, ask for the service manager Chris. First I was there for new tires. I am one of those people that shop for the best price before I ever go in. There was absolutely no argument. Right away they were comparing the price for me. Met my request immediately and made me feel they were extremely happy to do so. Then they did a free complete car inspection. Normally other places come back with 5 things I need to spend additional money. Not this Firestone. They made a few recommendations that in a year I may need to change a few things but no false ticket raisers. I haven't felt so cared for or trusted what a car service company told me like this one. I've been to 3 Firestones just north of here to use my lifetime alignment: 2 said they didn't have the tooling to align my German car: the one on 2720 Town Center Dr. said they didn't have the tooling to align my German car after I waited in the waiting room an hour, the one on 2922 Canton Rd couldn't do it unless I bought tires, and the 3rd on I92 in Woodstock aligned it but said they couldn't do it again and that Firestone shouldn't have sold me lifetime alignment on my car in the first place. Wow. Not exactly a lifetime alignment. This one I'm reviewing can do it and do a good job at it (some Firestones align it and it ends up worse). Some miscommunication between the person at the front counter and the technicians at this location, and the wait is usually very long, but at least they do it right in the end. read more

I've had my car work on here multiple times. They are always honest and helpful. I wanted to have my tires rotated once (which would have cost me more), but they didn't recommend it because it was winter and the back tires had more tread. I trust them and recommend. After a series of bad experiences with mechanics overcharging and half-fixing issues with my car, I came here about a year ago and have never looked back! The staff is always super friendly, and they take the time to try to save you money. Every time I've had a repair here, they've walked me through the repair and showed me exactly where the work was done. They also take the time to explain repairs really easily so that anyone can understand. They also have never tried to upsell me on random repairs, and give a range of options for every repair instead of pressuring you to do the most expensive option. I don't know about the two bad reviews 3-4 years ago, but I have been using this specific Firestone (South Cobb Drive) for two to three years now, first for just tires, then for maintenance, and I have always been taken care of. I think there are different people working here now so give it a shot! Just this weekend, I brought my car in to the shop because it needed a headlight replaced and my steering wheel was shaking really hard when I drove on the interstate. I left my car, and the car my mother and I had brought needed some coolant, and they topped off that car for free! On top of that, they found something interesting regarding my headlight. Apparently, the last person who had changed the bulb (It wasn't Firestone, it was a DEALERSHIP) had used DUCT TAPE to secure it. Being smart, they didn't mess with it, told me about it, and then gave me all the information I needed to take to the dealership. So not only do I have the ammunition to confront the dealership about their neglect, I also have a contact with Firestone to give to them if they want more information. Also, always ask if they can give you a discount. I've asked each time I've come here, and usually, they give me one. Sometimes it's a little one, sometimes it's a gas bill! Always ask! read more

I don't even know where to start with this review. I had an appointment for a flat repair and brake service for 9:00 am. I was immediately told by the store manager that I did not have road hazard on my new tires that I had just bought from this location on 4/20/16. I knew this couldn't be right because I remember specifically discussing road hazard with the guy who sold me the tires and would never spend $550 on tires without road hazard. When I explained that there must be a mistake to the manager I was told "Well you signed the legally binding contract." I immediately called my husband who was there with me when we bought the tires and he too confirmed that we were definitely told that there would be road hazard. I again approached her and she said that the guy who sold me the tires would be in shortly and she would talk to him. I cancelled the break service because at this point I have no interest in giving Firestone any more of my business and my car was still sitting in the parking lot. This guy got there and walked around for 30 minutes without acknowledging me when I heard him and another technician talking about my situation at the front desk. He called me up (mind you it is 10:30 at this point) and asks me do I know how road hazard works and that I will have to pay a prorated amount. He never acknowledged my concerns, apologized, or even acknowledged that a mistake had been made. I said that I understood and that was that. 20 minutes later he comes back and says that my tire can't be repaired and they don't have my tire in stock did I want to come back tomorrow after he orders the tire. At this point I have been sitting and patiently waiting for almost 2 hours for a flat repair with an appointment, I insisted on having my tire put on today and told him that they could put my spare back on and I would come back later this afternoon to have the new tire put on. 10 minutes later I was informed that he "thinks" he can fix it after all (I'm not feeling to confident that I want them touching my car at this point). Once my tire was repaired I asked for the number to the corporate office. The dry attitude of the sales guy changed magically all of a sudden. He walks over to the manager's office and explains that I asked for the corporate number to which I could hear her loudly reply "Didn't she get the roadhazard!?! She got what she wanted so why does she want the corporate number?" He then comes out and tells me that his manager would like to speak to me. I explained that I had no desire to speak to his manager that I wanted the corporate number so that I could be on my way. This manger then comes out and says to me "I was the one who made all of this happen for you." What! You didn't do me a favor by fixing one of many mistakes I have experienced coming to this location, the last of which included my car jerking all over the road after the new tires I purchased were incorrectly balanced. Stay away from this location! The incompetence is unsurpassed. read more

This Firestone was my go-to place for auto repairs for my 3 cars for many years. The former managers were great and I was very satisfied with the work. The management changed a few years back and things have gone downhill. I will no longer go back there and will give the same advice to others. One example problem: My truck suddenly started making louder muffler noises a few weeks back and I took it in to this Firestone to get it looked at. They found there was a problem with exhaust (and noise) leak at the connection of the catalytic converter part of the exhaust to the tail pipe portion of the exhaust. At this point they should have sent me to a shop that was competent to deal with muffler/catalytic converter issues like this one because they are not. One of the managers said they would take the rusted nuts off and put new bolts in. The cost was not going to be much and the max (worst case) was supposed to be a little over $300. Instead, they broke off all the bolts trying to get the nuts off and wanted to charge me over $300 for breaking off three bolts if I left with the truck at that point. The alternative was to have them install a new catalytic converter for ~$1200 as at least one of the bolts they broke off was welded onto the converter pipe. Firestone insisted that they wanted their over $300 for several hours of work they had done (how does it take hours to break three bolts off?) but would include the over $300 as part of the total price if I got a new converter from them. Because I would have to have it towed now since the exhaust would be so loud and I was super busy, I told them to go ahead after the manager agreed to lower the price some (~1000; still way above other shops), but I was not happy at all with how I was being treated. When the work was completed, the truck was still loud and something metal rattled periodically under my passenger floor board when I let off the gas (new sound). The Firestone manager said it was loud because they put on a highflow converter (without my permission) and it would cost another $300 to put on a non-highflow converter. Instead, I took my truck to a muffler place and they said there was a leak at the same junction as before. It turns out Firestone did a shoddy job on the install and their gasket at that junction blew out, causing the loud sound. Firestone had also used bolts so short the nuts (2 of 3) were only partially screwed on their ends and the muffler place said that these likely would loosen up over time and fall off. I took my truck back to Firestone and they replaced the gasket and put better bolts on. They did not know what was causing the noise but the other shop said the rattle came from the converter being installed so it touched my floorboard on the passenger side. Firestone couldn't fix that issue without replacing the converter at more cost to me. After much stressful discussion, the Firestone manager finally reluctantly agreed to pay for the other shop to fix the "converter noise/touching the floor" problem. The cost was $150. The only other concession for my many trips to Firestone and to the other muffler place because of Firestone's incompetence was that at my request Firestone agreed to not have me pay for a ~100 oxygen sensor that was damaged (by them) when they replaced the catalytic converter (which should not have had to be replaced because the converter was fine), bringing the total down to ~$900 plus $25 plus at least six trips to Firestone or muffler place plus a bunch of unpleasant conversations to even get Firestone to take any responsibility. Compare this to the estimate from the other muffler place that I got of ~$250 to fix the original problem (even with the broken bolts) without having to replace the catalytic converter. After this experience, the manager also went back today on a verbal promise to replace my oil pan at no cost (this year's promise) or at least at no labor cost (previous years' promise) because they had stripped the threads on the plug (they had done all the oil changes on my cars for many years). Last oil change they put in an oversized plug and told me it was fine but my oil light came on while driving (could have damaged my car) and found it was leaking about a quart a week (didn't notice puddles where it was parked). Sad to lose what used to be a great relationship and go-to place for all my cars. Will look for a new one. read more

I started going to this location because it was close to my house and because they offered the Firestone card. I went for a routine oil change and tire rotation and she gave me a two hour window/ My appointment was for 9, there was no reason it should have taken more then an hour. After adding on an air filter change I noticed my car be driven around to the front of the store and the mechanic hand the lady my paperwork. I thought I was good to go. It took 25 minutes and me going up to mention that my car was just sitting in the front in order for her to ring me up. During that time she was chatting with other people who worked at the store but not in the bay. It took 39 seconds to ring me up, I don't understand why it would take that long. I have never given any place a 1 star before, and hopefully will never find a place where I would do it again. I also wish I had read the yelp reviews before I went. I have been out of town for a while, so I got my wife to take her car in to get the alignment checked and wheels re-balanced after she said it started pulling and shaking. She was there for about 4 hours. They also charged her for tire rotation. Saying nothing about needing new tires (more about this later). She paid in full. Car was worse when she started driving away. So they took it back and un-rotated (re-rotated???) the tires, which helped, but still was worse than before. So she went back again (she never made it even 1/10 of a mile before turning around and going back), Chris stepped in and apologized and said it was because of it needed new tires, and would give us a discount on that, but would have to be the next day, because they were getting ready to close. When I checked the alignment paperwork later, the alignment was even worse than when she brought it in the 1st time. She brought it back the next day, Chris wasn't there, the other manager refused to give her the same discount. They tried to charge AGAIN for the alignment. Unfortunately, still bought tires from them. BEWARE, these guys are VERY dishonest. They shouldn't have even charged us for the alignment from the day before, much less TWICE! I used to trust firestone, but that has ended. read more

Lots of other problems too - air pressure, improper mounting, long wait times, grease all over door, steering wheel and shifter. Manager was very friendly and professional but I spent twelve hours in four trips sitting around a waiting room that stunk of tires and had a loud TV blasting. I wish I would have came here to read the reviews before visiting this location. My experience in Maryland has been avg to below avg, but no major problems with Firestone, it was just convenient close to home. I recently drove down to Georgia for a change of residence. This it the closest location so I decided to have my car checked out, after the distance, and get an oil change. Before leaving, I had a full diagnostic, no problems. All of a sudden I need over $900.00 of engine work. I'll definitely be getting a second opinion elsewhere. Against my better judgment, my wife decided to go get an oil change and have her brake lights changed. All of a sudden, shes stuck on the side of the highway and half the break lights aren't even working. You would think Firestone would take action to improve a location with such a low rating, but that does not seem to be the case. This along with a couple other annoying inconveniences in the past means we are done giving this company our money. Avoid Firestone, especially this location, at all costs!!! read more

I went o get brakes and drums replaced....horrible job, brakes are making a weird clicking sound and when I press the brake pedal it pumps up and down as you press. Something is not right. They overly expensive for care and do a crappy job. read more
