Questionable integrity. I brought my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment under warranty. I dropped my vehicle off and like clockwork they gave me a call and had found other items in need of repair. Imagine that. According to the person that I spoke with my belts were cracked badly and in need of replacement. I told him that my belts were just replaced at that location 10 months ago so if they are cracked, they are under warranty. When I went to pick my vehicle up, I asked the person who called me about the belts and was told they were replaced under warranty. I checked my receipt when I got home and didn't see the warranty work for the belts. I called and after explaining my situation , I was told that after closer inspection, they belts were in good shape and did not need to be replaced. So let me get this straight, when you thought I would need to pay for it, they were cracked badly but once you found out it was a warranty claim, they are in excellent condition. I only came to you today because I had a coupon. I'm done dealing with your company for any work on my vehicle. I'm sick of your upselling techniques and the constant battle with getting you to just do what I ask you to do when I bring my vehicle in. I gave them 2 stars because I guess they changed my oil correctly and notified me of nails in 2 in my tires which were handled under the road hazard. read more

I have brought my Jeep here multiple times and have had a decent experience each time, nothing wrong with quality of service but consistently have spent HOURS longer than necessary waiting. The last two times I have even made appointment and still waited 1+hours longer than the stated time frame to get my vehicle done! What's the point of an appointment time?! I strongly recommend this shop. I ran into the Target that shares the parking lot with Firestone and while I was inside, my battery died. My husband works late on Wednesday's and we just moved from a different state so I immediately started freaking out knowing I needed to pick up our kids in an hour. I called Firestone for help. They sent two technicians to my car to jump the battery and helped me get in & out of the shop before the daycare closed. The entire staff was AMAZING and helpful. I was surprised to see negative reviews; my experiences with this Firestone have been amazing. I'm a sucker and don't know much about cars, but at no point has anyone here given me that sketchy feel that I'm being lied to or taken advantage of. I needed two tires replaced ASAP and was in a panic trying to figure out where to go as I'm new to the area and honestly, trying to find an auto shop with integrity is nearly impossible. I called Firestone in the middle of the day to ask for a quote, and a kind gentleman provided me lots of great info about tire options and costs, and I was able to make an appointment very quickly. When I got to the store, a friendly female quickly checked in my car for the tire replacement and even changed plans when I opted for a different set of tires than I'd decided when making the appointment. It took about an hour to change 2 tires and balance them (or whatever they do; like I said, I don't know much about cars). The waiting room was large with I think about 10/12(?) large cushioned seats, a fridge full of bottled water, and a well stocked Keurig machine. The bathroom was large and clean and had a changing table and even a table to put things on. I had a great experience with them and would encourage anyone needing auto care to give them a go! read more

Outstanding service - probably the best experience I've ever had with an auto repair place (and I own 2 cars and drive 1k+ miles a week, so I deal with auto repair shops a lot). I live in Austin, but was in Dallas this weekend and had a tire blowout on 75. Normally, I'd just change my tire and be on with it, but the force of the blowout caused damage that made my car undriveable (the rear bumper was hanging off, brackets were blown, etc; it looked ugly). The incident occurred after hours on Saturday night, so I had my car towed to this Firestone, and left my keys in the overnight box. I'd need body work, but that would take days and I needed to be back in Austin the next day. The technician here bracketed my bumper in place, as well as the panel above the tire, which made my car driveable so I could get back home to Austin and have my body work done there. The thing I appreciate about this most is that they did the bracketing FREE. I'm sure just about any other store would charge me for at least labor, but I'm very thankful to the nice guys here for getting on my way out of town since I was in a squeeze. read more

The store team is rude and condescending. They act like they are doing you a favor in letting you buy tires from them. I have spent a lot of money with them and have finally had enough. We were coming back home from Oklahoma when we got a flat tire. All we wanted was to just buy a tire and we arrived at 6:45 because we couldn't drive very fast on the spare. They said they closed at 7 so we thought we were saved. Unfortunately they didn't service us even though all we wanted was to buy a tire. Called early in the morning and was greeted on the phone by Shawn. I own a show car and had show wheels that needed installing and new tires. He immediately called his warehouse and promptly called me back. The tires I was looking for we're not available but he was able to put me in a similar low profile tire. Steve the manager handled my car himself. They were very careful with my new wheels during installation and not a scratch! I would highly recommend this location to anyone, specifically my car club. It is hard to find a place that won't beat up your wheels during installation. Shawn went out or his way and kept in contact with me. Service was prompt and courteous. I was contacted first thing Monday morning regarding my visit after filling out their survey online and was able to discuss what happened with them. Very apologetic and professional which was appreciated. This seems like a good location that made a mistake which they have now fixed. Prices are much higher than Pep Boys. For example ford transmission flush only (no filter replacement) is $129 at Pep Boys and $189 at Firestone for the SAM E work!! Took my 2005, well maintained 2500HD in for the annual safety inspection. They claimed the power steering fluid was low, and that the pump showed signs of a leak. Told me they wouldn't pass the inspection unless I gave them $1,000 for parts and labor. I declined, I checked the power steering reservoir, found it to be full. We had appointment for over$1000 worth of tires to be installed. Appointment was for 12:00 noon. Showed up and checked in 11:45 am. Lady checking us in (not friendly and welcoming at all). Told us it would be no more than 2 hours to have our tires installed. 2 hours and 10 minutes later, they hadn't even taken our truck in for the install. The person who contacted me was from corporate and apologized for the way I was treated and asked if I could come to the store for a refund of the difference. Do not take your car to these Monkeys for anything harder than an oil chance or tires. I am sure they are great at simple tasks but if you have a more complex issue stay away. They broke a part on my car and then listed it in the notes as not working properly which saves them from any liability once the client finds out. At first they were cool and said they would refund the cost of the part but then it turned into in store credit and after talking to the manager I walked out never to return. This place is the best. We hit a pothole passing the construction site on 75 South about 5 miles from this service center. Most everywhere was closed (it was a Sunday) but these guys were open so we headed there to see if we could get our run flat tire fixed. They didn't have the run flat tire we needed in store so they drove to their other store to get it - put the new tire on - and we were back out the door in 1 hour and 10 minutes!!!! Car drove perfect. Really nice staff, cold water in the fridge, coffee and very clean/nice restroom. 5 stars very well deserved. read more

I brought my car to Firestone Sunday told them the issues I was having with my vehicle and they said it would be done the following day, after receiving a call after they diagnosed my car they said I would need a new battery, also get a sensor fixed which in order to fix that sensor I would need an alignment done. They fixed my car and I went and picked it up that day after they took care of it. The very next day my car broke down having the same issues, so I had to towed my car back to Firestone. They called me after the diagnostic on the vehicle saying it was the alternator that would cost me over $1100 and they will get it fixed that day. Got a call back hours later saying that the alternator was not plugged in all the way so I wouldn't have to pay and I'll be able to pick it up the next morning. Finally got a call Wednesday morning thinking I was getting my car back but than it was a call to say that they guess it was the alternator thats bad and now they have to replace it. At least they were able to get it fixed right before they closed that day so I pick it up and was very unhappy with the experience I had. Got my car back the next day attempted to honk at somebody and realized my horn is now not working. Im extremely busy and don't have a lot of time to deal with car problems so I've held off going back to get my horn fixed also afraid they are going to charge me more after me paying over $1,100. I called corporate office to explain everything which they listened, agreed and said they will have a DM call me based off the experience I had. I decided to wait over a week and a half to leave this review waiting to hear from the DM which I have yet to get a call. I do not recommend this place for they are clearly lazy based on my whole situation, I bring my vehicle to a "professional" because obviously I'm not one but I didn't realize I would've had to go through so much when they should've fixed my car knowing that it was the alternator from the start. Have to say after the stealership (Nissan of McKinney) provided an alignment after a new pair of shoes, only to be demolished by the incompetence of one of their technicians within a two month period, brought it back and they said there was nothing wrong with the alignment, but wanted to sale me new tires??? . Brought to Firestone and worked with Eddie Wyman, which he had his tech pull the specs and found the alignment on the front of my Armada to be way out, thus causing severe damage to the tires. Purchased new tires with them and this place has been my go to for service ever since. Great group of knowledgeable staff, and technicians that get it.... Never Again!! My husband had the oil in our cars changed at two separate times-something he normally does himself but had no time so he took it to Firestone McKinney (off of hwy 75 since he had other bad experiences with Firestone on Eldorado). About two weeks after his oil change he began to hear rattling noises and clicking from his engine. He begins investigating by checking his fluids first. Surprise- no oil left in the tank and he had zero oil leaks (we would notice a leak right away). On top of giving him crap oil it was obvious that they didn't fill it up. He didn't mention it to me because he figured this was a one time "screw up". Another two weeks later my car starts rattling and making ticking sounds-surprise, surprise- i too am bone dry on oil. Hubby had to flush and add oil to my car. Our cars are fairly new (less than 3 years old) only time will tell what effect this will have on our engines. They also supposedly changed the "cabin filter" (which is difficult to reach in my car) since there was a vinegar odor on start up. A week later the vinegar "odor" is back. Am i convinced they changed it? NOPE. This was the third and LAST time we ever go to Firestone -ANY Firestone since we only seem to have bad experiences at establishments named Firestone. The other Firestone we had a bad experience with was located on Eldorado pkwy. They insisted that i needed work that would come close to a thousand dollars. THANKFULLY Since i didn't have that kind of money i decided to get a "second opinion" at Auto Zone. Turns out i only needed a $25.00 part and they threw in labor free since it only took 5 minutes to fix. read more

Get the lifetime alignment when you see them. 160.00 and they align your wheels for life. No stipulations. The service pro told me I could come back anytime to any Firestone and get it done for free as long as I own my truck! I don't take time usually to do reviews, especially bad ones, because I take consideration that everyone in this world have cloudy days, especially when the whole world is going through a pandemic. But with this store in particular I have noticed since I moved to this area that it has been almost the same ever since, with or without pandemic. Besides Beth-Anne, who is the only one in that shop that I could give a 5 star, the rest of them is a 0 star. I have been a Firestone client for a decade now I even have a Firestone credit card, which I didn't have before I started using already the Firestone business, and I have never contemplate such horrible shop as I have with this one. I understand working with pressure, but every time I have been there besides changing tires I was treated like they don't need my business, with or without pandemic. Also if you buy the tires with them and do the alignment some place else, or any maintenance for that matter, you loose your warranty. And if you have the option to have your insurance paying for mechanical needs and you take to them, they will give you the worse treatment ever, because insurances have a discount price which makes a job that is small, smaller and they only care about jobs that matters to their pockets. And that is exactly what my review is about and will be about in every review posts I can find out there today! Take your business to any dealership in town, if necessary, but do not take there unless you are absolutely sure you will be served by Beth-Anne, otherwise, don't waste your breath with any other person in there. Pandemic or not, we are all in the same bolt, we are all stressed, we are all working more than we should because we are all understaffed. There is no excuse to treat people without any concern about their needs just because your need it is not being treated properly and your are overwhelmed. People that cannot work under pressure should not even be allowed to work in any type of customer service, and that includes the phones as well. Until I move from this area, which could be never, since I bought a house in here, I will never have my carS served through Firestone again. Worst service ever experienced- left my truck at 2pm for oil change, rotation and inspection. Said 4:30 will be done, called then they said 5:30, called back then they said before we close @ 7. Got there at 7pm and they hadn't even pulled it into the bay yet!!! If they just said- "can't do it today we are too busy" no problem. Instead they over promised and way under delivered.
