I've had good experiences at this Fletchers in the past, but the last few times I've been there have been frustrating. They do not have a good system for oil changes - I have waited all day for an oil change more than once. I have had conflicting information from different employees on scheduling appointments, and when I politely informed one of them, they acted like I was lying. I agree with another post that sometimes it feels like they are working against you. As a person myself employed in customer service I have to wonder how being against your customer can ever work for you. On a positive note, they had the cheapest battery in the area (after checking several other stores, we ended up coming back there). But my past few negative experiences there have overshadowed the positive ones. All in all, after they were frustrating on the phone this morning (the oil change run around), I decided to pay a little extra and try Big O' Tires on Crimson. Seldom these days do you find companies with high morals. Today I found such a place. I took my car to the Firestone Complete Care Center off Crismon Road because I had a brake warning light on the dash. They inspected my brakes and told me it was just the sensor and that my brake pads still had plenty of life in them. I was fully prepared to replace the pads and would not have questioned it at all if that was the diagnosis. I appreciate their integrity. They have now become my car care center! read more

Not happy with this location, the vehicle came in with a check engine light, they said it was broken vacuum hose charged $98.00 to Diagnose also had the oil changed they left the drain plug loose within a day most of the oil had leaked out of the engine and the check engine light was back on, after speaking with the supervisor they were willing to give us another oil change, wanted to charge us an additional $98 to diagnose the problem for a second time..... read more

Just had an oil change and tire rotation this morning at this location. The last time I attempted this at another competitor, they did not rotate my tires. I knew this because by passenger rear tire had a notch out due to a curb incident. Upon inspecting the car after Firestone completed the service, that tire was still on the passenger rear tire. When I called, the person I was connected to asked the manager and the technicians about the transaction and they confirmed they did the rotation. Since I only have one tire with this specific mark on it, I know someone is lying and being dishonest. There are too many auto stores in the valley to deal with someone that is dishonest. Unless you know how to prove the actually did the work, I would not visit this Firestone location. Dishonesty and lack of caring for a customer will kill your business. read more

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY! A couple weeks after getting my belt replaced it started squealing and needed to be adjusted (this is normal). I brought it back in and they told me I needed $2000 of repairs and the belt was fine no need to adjust it. About 7 months later the belt broke because of the squealing (they should last a few years at least). Anyways a guy who worked at checkers put a new one on for a $10 tip and took him 10 mins in the parking lot. Car runs fine now. No need for the $2000 repairs they told me I needed! Even though I bought free lifetime oil changes with them I will not go back and let their amateur mechanics touch my car. I will gladly pay elsewhere rather then get it free here. read more

I experienced a very high level of customer service a very short time before they were scheduled to close. The prices were slightly higher then I would have expected but the fact that they didn't charge me for services I didn't need, even when I specifically requested them, meant my total bill was about half what it could have been and what I would have been charged most other places. Stay far away! These guys have no freaking clue! Took my brand new 4Runner here to get an alignment done since I had just gotten it lifted. I purchased the 1 year alignment and got it done in mid July. Takes an hour and a half and when it's done he hands me the sheet and says they got it close but couldn't get it into spec but that it's good enough. Driving home, it's pulling to the left and the steering wheel is now off centered. Take it to a different Firestone to have them look at it. He tells me the tech at the other Firestone that did the alignment did not tighten the Jam Nuts on the Tie Rods! Are you freaking kidding me?!?! This place is a freaking joke! Wasted my money on an alignment plan as I would NEVER trust them to even wash my car again! read more

Went there for a $9.95 a/c system check. These guys told me there was a blockage in my a/c and would have to vacuumed the system and hopefully that would loosen the blockage. Then they were going to put freon back in it not knowing if there was a leak. They said they had to do this to tell if the a/c compressor was bad. I asked him is there not a test to check the compressor? He said we have to start with a vacuum of the system first. $150! And then he said it could be the compressor but to find out we have to do the vacuum and install freon. I thought this was high, but he said it was standard price. So knowing this jackwagon was lying thru his teeth, I called a reputable mechanic shop called Sunland Automotive and talked to Scott. He said you dont need to do all that and he only charges $100 to recharge the a/c unit and put dye in it to check for leaks. I'm so glad I got a second opinion! Sunland had me in and out in 20 minutes vs 1 hour plus with appt at Firestoned. NO COMPRESSOR WAS NOT BAD. NO THERE WAS NO BLOCKAGE! Just a simple recharge which is ALL I wanted in the first place! I would suggest getting a second opinion from anyone other then Firestone on Crismon! The BBB just might be informed of these scam artists! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO FIRESTONE ON CRISMON, UNLESS OF COURSE YOU DONT CARE ABOUT THE LIES AND HIGH PRICES YOU WILL ULTIMATELY PAY FOR NOT NEEDED SERVICES OR PARTS WITH THESE JOKERS! I took my car in to have the ac fixed. when i dropped it off i told them that it was not just low on coolant. when it was finished they told me that it need coolant and that was all. i was skeptical by assumed they knew what they where doing . I paid them $150 went out to the car and the ac was blowing 90 degree air , not only did they not fix it but charged me anyway. they had not check the system at all.. i go back in and tell them it's not working. (i hadn't left the lot even) they pull it back in and with in 5 minutes tell me i need a minimum of $400 work done. if it was that easy to tell what the problem was why didn't they tell me that before they got $150 out of me. they tried to take the easy way and i got screwed for it. read more

I completely expected this to take a couple days or so to get back, so I left it there and started making arrangements for the work week. 30 minutes before closing, I get a call telling me they had the time to squeeze it in and it's now ready for pickup. The guys here were amazing. Beat everyone's prices!! All 4 of my tires were separating. They covered the tires under warranty and beat the price of a competitor by $350.00 to replace all the engine mounts!!!! Did tires on a Thursday , woke up Friday morning valve stem leaking drove down they had it fixed in about 15min. Took it the next day for engine mounts and paid even less than the quote!!! I have takin all my cars for here over 10 years. I have had great service most of the time with a few hiccups over price. We have a friend who is a mechanic ( no longer in the field) who helps us trouble shoot and then we take the cars here for repairs. I fortunately had a father who made me make small repairs on our cars when I was growing up, so tools and parts don't scare me. My car check engine light came on the code read 02 bank 1 sensor. I've replaced other sensors in my car. Super easy. I replaced the part which is just a screw in and snap into place part. Took no time at all. However my engine light did not reset. I took the part back and replaced it with another heat sensor. No luck after driving a good 100 miles no reset. So we take it to Fletcher's. They said they couldn't figure it out but they would call us. After a few more hours I get a call that they think we should replace the computer board for $1000. The car shows it running fine so that must be it. Something did not sit right with me. I told my husband that we should pick it up and take it to an emissions expert. We got the keys from the front desk paid $90 for the test. Low and behold the engine light is off. We took it for our emissions test and it passes. Later I looked up how to clear codes on your cars computer. Auto zone and repair shops have the ability to clear codes when testing to get an accurate read. Had I known that I would have figured that out myself. This almost cost me $1000 heck I'm mad I paid $90. Shady bananas. read more

I called days in advance to see if they did appointments as I know most places are understaffed. The gentlemen I originally talked to was great. He got me set with an appointment to get my oil changed at 8am. When I dropped my vehicle off at the scheduled time and day the gentlemen couldn't give me an estimate on how long it may take because it just said pending in his system but I could call back in a bit and he could give me an answer. I called in at 10:00am and spoke with a different gentlemen who put me on a brief hold to find out as he was not there in the morning. I was informed it should be about 45 minutes for them to free up a technician to begin working on my car. I came back at 11am and my car hadn't moved from where I parked it. As I waited in line to chat with either one of the gentlemen at the counter they were giving estimates to other customers of an hour for an oil change and another customer a hour and a half to get a full inspection on their vehicle. When I spoke with the gentlemen at the counter as to what the point of an appointment was? He couldn't give me a straight answer and for a second time I was told I apologize, but I was not here earlier this morning so I don't know what happened. read more

This location needs to send their mechanics back to school. I spent $500 getting the controller for my A/C fixed here and after that, the air output was terrible. They told me I wouldn't be happy with it and tried to sell me a new fan. I declined. I took it to completely different repair shop and was told that Fletcher's wired the controller in backwards! I bought the family oil change pack but I'm just going to eat the money and move on. I will not let these guys touch another one of my vehicles. read more

I've replaced tires on four cars and have had simalar experiences with their sales tactic that the size needed isn't included in the current "sale." The guys at the desk are always very helpful, knowledable, and friendly. The girl not so much. Not getting into all the details BUT I would stay away from this Fletcher's. They have had the car more over the last 2 weeks than we have. We were there when they opened at 8:00 AM. Were told it would be 3-4 hours for the repair. The car was finished Saturday at 4:30. We had to contact them for updates. Not worth the frustrations. read more

We set an appointment a week in advance with Joe or Joey the manager. He was very aggravated we arrived 1/2 hour early even though there was only one car in the bay. He was rude and combative. I asked him for prices for other services to my truck and he quoted me twice what other companies charge. I never did have him provide any services, just asked to get the truck out of the bay and will patronize another tire store. Manager was Robert. I use this location for tires and oil changes. I always place a mark on the tire to make sure the tires were rotated, and they have always been. I never leave the shop without checking the oil cap and plug. I do take some responsibility for my own safety. So about the service, appointment at 3:00, car in at 3:10, out at 4:10. Had a bad tire and Robert recognized this as road hazard damage and replaced it on the spot. Buyer advice, "inspect what you expect". So not all employees may be operating with a full six pack, but this is a laborious job, not one I would like to do. Again inspect what you expect. read more
