Finally, an oil change that is keeping up with the pace of the community! I had passed by this oil change place so many times and I finally decided to give them a try today. I absolutely loved it and I'll tell you why... The first thing I was super excited about was the fact that I was able to stay in the car! I quickly realized what I loved just as much was the process and the way things were checked and double checked . Procedures, etc called out loud by the Techs, and in this case, the Manager as well. I brought my car in for a simple oil change and the tech did not drain my oil and allowed me to leave the location with over 2x the amount of necessary oil for my car causing my car to break down and damage multiple parts of the engine. Valvoline decided to deny my claim (after clear documentation) to fix all of the repairs needed so I am now having to pay thousands of dollars due to this. I get that mistakes happen but the lack of accountability and care for their customers after an obvious error on their part is a horrible way to do business. I will never go back and encourage others to do the same. read more

Took my car here to get an oil change. When it was my time for my next oil change I decide to do it my self. Go to take the oil filter off and it's all scratched like they used some type of drill or tool to put it on and it was extremely hard to take off. Once I was finally able to take it off, I went to drain the oil from the plug ALSO extremely hard to take off! After this experience and other bad experiences I have heard from this place (their lack of care and professionalism) I do not recommend this location to anyone! read more

I have gone here for just oil changes in the past and today I decided to get my rear differential fluid changed. I really wish I didn't!! I was told it would be about a 15 minute service. And then after a few minutes and the technician asking for different sizes of wrenches, I felt quite a few violent tugs and smacks underneath my vehicle. The technician asked for Erik the manager several times and had a conversation with him underneath the back end of my Toyota 4 Runner. After about 20 minutes of more smacks and I could smell the old differential fluid was let out the manager decided to come up and tell me they were working on a stripped plug. He said "whoever did it last must have stripped it" After another 10 min and way more smacks and what sounded like metal on metal smacks Erik came up to me again and told me I would have to go buy a full plug. I told him that fluid has never been changed. He said "I don't know what to tell you" he also said they were able to fill it up and it was ok. He also told me the plug was now "rounded" I asked if the next time it gets changed I'm screwed right?....his reply was "well, yeah, but it's changed now" Are you serious!!???? Don't do a service on a vehicle if you can't do it correctly. I will never trust a Valvoline place again. I hope this warms everyone else as well. If they lied to me about this and destroyed a part on my vehicle that I work hard to maintain then they will do this to anyone else. Be Aware!!!! read more

Fast and efficient! I used to dread taking my car for an oil change as it usually takes 1-2 hrs and finding the time for that is difficult. Saw this place advertise 15 mins as I was leaving Fry's and decided to come during my lunch right before 12pm today. There was no wait, no one trying to upsell me on things I didn't need, and I was able to stay in my car while the oil was changed in 15 mins. Time is money and there are no complaints from me. We have been taking our Hyundia Tucson to this Valvoline location since it opened. The service has been satisfactory until Friday, May 3rd when we had the oil changed and they checked the air pressure for all four tires. There were no issues with the oil change, but when I got home, I noticed that 2 of the valve caps were missing from the driver's side of our Tucson. I would not have made a big deal of the missing valve cover caps, but these were brass caps and not the ordinary plastic caps. I went back to this location and talked to Mitch, the manager of this facility, and also the technician that serviced our Tucson. I told Mitch that the valve caps were missing and would they still have them. Mitch stated that they never make mistakes, and the valve caps would have been replaced after checking the air pressure. I explained to Mitch that he did not replace the valve caps, but Mitch stayed firm that he always replaces the valve caps. This conversation was going nowhere, and I left the facility. We will no longer be going back to this Valvoline facility. read more

Well today I thought I would give this new location a try, I normally have my oil changed at the dealership. I visited the website and it said that their certified technicians undergo 270 Hours of training in a ASE certified program. I only had to wait a short time around 15 minutes because they weren't that busy at the time, I pulled into the garage and the tech took down my information and I chose the oil I wanted to be placed into my truck, the tech began working under the hood while I sat in the drivers seat, the tech pulled my air filter and presented it to me and I agreed to replace it, he grabbed a new one and started trying to put it into the air box, I was able to see in between the hood and dash that he was struggling to get the cover back on, he strongly pushed the air box around and suddenly he was done and moved on to something else, After everything was complete he yelled out check with the hood still up but know one ever came to do a final inspection so he closed the hood and he guided me out and i was on my way home, about 2 miles. As soon as I got home I opened the hood and just as I expected he had given up and simple placed the cover on top of the air box without attaching it as can be seen in the picture. I disconnected the hose from the lid and properly secured the lid to the box and reattached the hose and I was able to accomplish this without even 1 hour of training in a ASE certified course. read more

Took my 2020 expedition for an oil change, they recommended doing a transmission and engine flush because we had hit 100k miles. The next day the car went to ford for a check engine light. Ford found that Valvoline put the wrong oil in my car, over filled the coolant, and over pressurized the fluids. The car now needs a new transmission, new coolant lines, new ac lines, and new heat lines. A $400 oil change turned into a $15,000 repair. Valvoline refuses to take responsibility for their poor work and told me to hire a lawyer. We had to file a claim through insurance for these repairs. Would never go back and would never recommend these people to anyone. read more

I took 2 vehicles to this Valvoline not long after they opened. It's time for my van to have the oil changed again. When I took it somewhere else they couldn't remove the drain plug because it was not the correct one in there. This place torqued the wrong one in and the van has had a small leak ever since. Now I have to replace the oil pan to fix the problem. I havnt had to do the oil change on my truck yet since it is driven much less, hopefully they didn't do the same to that one. read more

They are fast. Price is a bit high. It's obvious they are still in Training when they need to be showed how to read the dip stick. I wish they would use hand tools instead of power tools for the 3 simple screws for the air box. They clearly can't operate a drill instead you can hear them stripping the head of the screw out. read more

Well, there is a new facility on signal butte and Guadalupe and when I called Navy very rude over the phone plus they charge like $99 for an oil change. I got news for them. They should hire me as their marketing Director because they're going to go out of business charging those ridiculous prices. read more
