This was my first visit to this Firestone location, as it was the closest one that completed State Inspections on a weekend. I was greeted by April, who is a great ambassador for Firestone. While other locations are pretty good in this regard, April shines well beyond them all. Additionally, I was the last client to have their state inspection done on this particular day. They had identified one issue that needed to be addressed in order to pass the inspection. Gratefully, the service tech and April stayed almost an hour beyond closing time to make the needed change. On Feb. 3rd I went there with air leaking from my LR tire. The "manager" said he couldn't look at it til the next day. I said I need to be able to drive it to work. After all I bought tires there. He suggested I go to the used tire business across street practically working out of a shed. I told him I'm going to Discount Tire and if they help me he and Firestone would never see me again. I had purchased my last 3 sets of tires from Firestone. Not only did Discount Tire help me, they made the repair for free. I offered to pay since I didn't buy the tires there but they said no charge. So bye bye Firestone. You just lost what was a loyal customer. read more

They will try to upsell you for things you don't need when a simple fix would have been good. I went to get my tire patched and they tried to sell me a new tire which costed 80$ more per tire than discount tire down the road , ultimately I took my car literally across the street to get tire patched in 20min for 20$ , they told me a needed a new tire ??? April and the staff there are great! They always explain the issues. the new email process with photos and discriptions is really helpful. i wish less peolpe went there so I didn't have to wait forever for an inspetion. I love it when people write bad reviews about the state inspection process. You do realize the STATE makes those rules, not individual shops? If they pass a car that clearly should have failed they could be held liable. So blame your state legislature for your torn wiper blade that causes your car to fail inspection and also not being able to make an appointment for an inspection. read more

While the staff at this location are very nice, there seems to be a bit of a scheme being played when it comes to getting state inspections here. I brought my car in to get my state inspection done- fully expecting to have to have my brakes done- which is totally fine- but that's not at all what ended up happening. I'd scheduled an appointment online the day before, so when I walked in to drop the car off, I was surprised to find out that there was "no appointment" on the books for my vehicle. After the initial shock of being told that there was nothing on the books for my appointment, it seemed like the person at the counter was counting on me to just walk out and forget about the whole thing-, but in this state, you MUST have a state inspection sticker on your vehicle in order to not be harassed by the police to and from work each day- and of course, I don't have the luxury of working remote, so this sticker is pretty important- so I waited for the person at the counter to find an appropriate solution to this "error". It wasn't until after a manager, or supervisor came over, that they were finally "able to find my appointment"- I should've known right then this was going to turn into a huge disappointment, but alas, I tried to be optimistic. So I dropped off my car, which by all accounts was perfectly fine- lights and all- when I dropped it off. However, a whole day and a half later, I received a phone call regarding the work that I needed to pass inspection, which again, I was fully expecting it to be the brakes- but unfortunately, I was completely blindsided when I was bombarded with things like, "You need light bulbs, front and rear wiper blades, new tires and brakes for a combined total of $1200" Obviously, brakes and tires are big ticket items, which again, is fine- but telling me that it'll cost $300+ for mini-light bulbs alone, is outrageous. Not to mention- I check often for my lights so that I don't get pulled over to and from work each day- and I know that there is NO way 8 lights suddenly stopped working upon my arrival to Firestone- of these 8 bulbs, they mentioned my Fog Lights were out, which was nuts because again, they were working just fine prior to my terrible visit to Firestone. Not to mention, that there aren't "8" lights out on my vehicle. From what I can see currently on my car, the fog lights no longer work, which was quite a shock considering they were working when I arrived home Friday Night. The other lights that I can see are the tag lights, which driving an hour to and from work would've definitely caused a police officer to pull me over if they were out prior to my visit to this place- but in any case, I now have 4- not 8- lights that need to be replaced. I'm not sure where these 4 additional blown lights are on my vehicle- but then again, I'm not sure how my fog lights somehow stopped working within an 8 hour window of being dropped off at this location either. That's a pretty strange coincidence. The wiper blades were also said to be "torn"- however, they weren't torn when it was raining recently- so how they're suddenly torn now is completely beyond me! But there again, that's also a mighty strange coincidence. As I said, I walked in there knowing I would probably need brakes- and would've been happy to do the brakes there- but 2 other places (those places don't provide state inspections, unfortunately) quoted me 220$ for new rear brakes- Firestone quoted me $350+. The price gouging at this place is outrageous and honestly, It's almost criminal, in my opinion. Needless to say, that was my first and last visit to Firestone. I've worked in the automotive industry for 10+ years, and haven't seen this kind of price gouging in a very long time. I feel terrible for the other people they've conned into spending thousands of dollars on unnecessary repairs and upgrades. I completely understand labor costs and price markups- that's just business- however, the experience that I've just experienced was absolutely insane. I'm curious to know if the Corporate level at Firestone knows that this is how their various locations are currently operating. And if they DO know and this is how Firestone conducts business, then there's a HUGE problem with the company as a whole. I've read tons of reviews with similar experiences from people- so it's clearly a nationwide issue- but I do intend to contact Corporate and investigate this issue further. I've never had such a terrible experience like this before, so I'm a bit shook to be honest- but I wanted to explain this entire situation in no uncertain terms so that hopefully this won't happen to more people. read more

Can't give 0 Stars. Deceptive business practices. They prey on young adults; really anyone who doesn't understand the mechanics of a vehicle. They sheered off the head of the bolt on the "Lower Control Arm" while replacing a recommended bushing. All they needed to do was drill out the rest of the bolt. Their solution was to purchase a new lower control arm which already has the bushing they were replacing. We came there for an alinement. Then they said the bushing needed replacement and the cost would be ~$500. Then an hour later he sheered off the bolt and the cost was now ~$1300. They charge for the bushing replacement ($500) and then the full cost of replacing the lower control arm($800). The bushings come on the new control arm which cost $100 for the entire part from an auto store. We filed a claim with our insurance and had it towed on a flatbed to the Subaru dealership. We were cordial but the mechanic got defensive and cussed us out twice when we had to interact to get the car and keys. read more

DO NOT GET ANY MECHANICAL WORK DONE HERE!!! They blew up my engine and got the corporate office to say I was liable for it.. When I brought my car to them it had a simple misfire, and the technician who worked on it ruined the timing chain so that it was no longer drivable. Then they towed it to Haley Chevrolet without me knowing so that their hands could be free of the problem. April the manager is a liar and manipulator. She'll do and say whatever she needs to in order to try and not be liable for damages that her technicians caused. She knows how to work the corporate Firestone system in her favor. in the end, we were left with a $5,000 bill for an issue that they caused. Even the Chevrolet Dealership admitted that they were liars. BEWARE!!! read more

We came up here to get some tires and nobody even acknowledged us so a few days later (today) we came up here they dont close till 6 and we were here at 5:25 and all the lanes are already closed before they even close very unhelpful and very rude as well do not recommend this location at all read more

Took my car in for tires, tune up and an inspection. The technician was great and the prices were unbeatable. The work was done in less than 24 hours. The technician explained some other regular maintenance I will be needing without pressuring me to buy anything. The shop manager was helpful and my car was tidied up when I picked it up. My car was at the shop for an entire week I spend 800+ dollars just for them to put the wrong spark plugs on my car!!

I dropped my car off to have the air condition serviced. I received a call in the morning letting me know that they could fix it by filling up the refrigerant level as it was very low. They called me to let me know that the vehicle was ready so I made arrangements to meet someone for my family up there and pick up the car. I drove it home in the heat with the AC fully blasted but all that was coming out was hot air. Did they even test it to see if it worked? No one knew the answer. I contacted the store to talk to the manager but they said he was busy with another customer I waited around for 20 minutes and then drove back to the store where I waited for another 20 minutes hoping he would talk to me. The manager had little empathy for my situation. Everything was about his day and how busy he was, like I was taking up his time. I was disappointed in his unprofessionalism. In the end he became irritated with me and said fine give me your invoice I'll just take care of it. He was happy to get rid of me. I will gladly drive further now for better service and treatment. read more
