They called me, and it would be $520 more due to having to cut my cv line. The part was to be there the next day on Saturday. I had to call & was told part didn't come in, will be there Monday. Monday, I got a call that the part is on back order & should be there Thursday. Thursday, I called & they said, "Oh, the part came today & will be put together tomorrow. I stated in EVERY call, "Please communicate updates, because I shouldn't have to call." FRIDAY(a whole week) came I called Hey, I was supposed to get a call my vehicle is ready" The guy says Oh, the dealership we get the parts from is strike & not sure went we will get that part" I was Furious!!! I decided on my best decision with my family. Monday, I got my vehicle towed to a national auto shop(after speaking with them about it). They fixed it in one day & charged me $753.83 less even though Mr. Tire's cut my cv(which was told it didn't need to be cut). Go at your own risk!

But, if you have an emergency and have to do a random walk-in or drop-off, they're understanding and finish as fast as they can, whether that be same day or the next morning. I think the longest I've ever waited was a day and a half when I had an emergency. The service writers are kind and understanding. They treat my car well and always do great work. When I've had to go in for tire warranties (manufacturer defect) they work as hard as they can to get you your money back. I bought a set of new Michelin tires for my Ford F 150. When I got the truck back, every chrome rim was damaged with black places visible where chrome was missing around the 20 inch rims. When I asked about this, I was told by John, the manager "Yeah, that happens some times with Ford rims.l, it isn't our fault." Really! Discount Tire is the only company that has ever worked on these wheels and nobody said anything about this before they started! I take pride in the appearance of my truck and now all 4 rims are damaged. This was very upsetting to me obviously and asked them to make it right. Their response was to say it wasn't their fault and if I wanted to file a claim to take it up with their TPA (Fleet Response). Which I did. They offered a pittance fee to help compensate for the cost of the $700 each rims. I would have been less upset if someone had mentioned this could happen before doing damage. Long story short, if you are considering tire replacement, don't expect Discount Tire to stand behind their work if they make a mistake or to explain things in advance. Consider another tire dealer. I have since found Denver Tire in Denver, NC to be competitive and reliable with m other car. Good luck.
