I drove 35 mins to this location to get a quick oil change. We have none closer to my residence. After spending $112 I drove home only to realize the change oil indicator was not reset. I called this location and was told to swing by. Well 35 mins north is not swinging by it's wasting time n gas. He then says what do you want me to do? I had a rough experience. Drove in wit my f-250, wanted to do a quick oil change. The guy working here, I'm sure he had good intentions went to change my cab filter in my glove box - broke it. Couldn't put it back together. Pricing was ok for the oil change, but had to get someone to fix the glove box. Was a bit upset about that. Avoid if possible! My 17 year old son went to this Jiffy Lube for his first time getting an oil change. I told him to ask for the basic oil change with synthetic oil. I called in advance and asked how much this oil change would be. I was told about $65. He asked for the basic oil change and according to my son the technician said "I'll use Mobil 1 oil" Not knowing any better, my son said sure. The bill was $120! I went back to the store the next day and spoke to the manager. He said that the techs ALWAYS explain the three levels of oil options with the prices. My son swears that he was not given options and prices. The manager said it was impossible that the tech didn't do this, that it's my word against his, and they would not do anything about it. I asked to compromise and get a partial credit for the next visit. No chance. They didn't vacuum the car either as this is a part of the service. There was another issue too, but you get the point. I feel that they took advantage of a young person and lack basic customer service protocols when an unsatisfied customer takes the time to come back and complain. The service personnel takes very good care of you starting as soon as you pull up. The two times we had my son's cars oil changed the place was quite busy. That being said, they completed the work quickly. Like other oil change franchises, additional items were found that were called to our attention one was that the air filter needed replacement which we had taken care of. The next time was to drain the power steering fluid system which we elected not to do at the time. The problem is the uninitiated consumer my feel that all of theses various services must be immediately completed and these can jack up the bill astronomically. read more

I went to the store with my wife's car on March 14, 2020, not realizing my wife brought her car in on March 1st, 2020. I went for an oil change. After looking at the records he said the car needed a tire rotation , which the mechanic recommended, never mentioning the car had an oil change two weeks earlier. I went in for an oil change I was told my coolant needed to be flushed. I paid for the services which came to $175.00. The worker made a mistake and charged my credit card twice for the services. I was told I was going to be refunded for the error. It has been almost 2 months and I have not been refunded. I called to try to resolve the issue and I was told that they would call me back. I got my first oil change for my car here because it was nearby and when I went to change the oil again (my boyfriend does it now), he said my shield guard was all broken up and it was held on with zip ties. You have to take the plastic shield guard off to drain the oil and jiffy lube obviously broke mine and quick fixed it by drilling a hole into it and zip tying it... Also, the guy working on my car tried to tell me I had to get my transmission fluid flushed and showed me a dipstick that was covered in black fluid and said I needed it done bad because it's supposed to be red. I declined as it was over $100 to drain my tranny fluid and after I left there I checked the dipstick myself and mine was red. Which means he was showing me another dipstick, most likely the oil. I know auto places tend to take advantage of women thinking they are stupid and will shell out the extra money but I'm dating a mechanic sooo.. nice try. Do not go here. Total scam. read more

I was here 2:20 pm on 1/22/19 for an oil change and a couple of bulbs replaced. On my way here- I stopped at Advanced Auto and bought a gallon of Antifreeze. I topped off my coolant in Advance Auto parking lot before I drove to Jiffy Lube. The attendant tried to sell me coolant for $5. She looked me in my eyes and told me that my coolant was low. I doubled check my tank and to my surprise it was still at the full level. Why would she do that? Why did she ask me if I needed my receipt? I always get a receipt for any purchase. This Jiffy Lube is a COMPLETE s*** show. I have gone to the Jiffy Lube in Absecon for almost 2 years and NEVER had a problem. February 14, 2020 I went to this one because the one in Absecon was busy. Needless to say, after paying $72 for an oil change and to replace 1 air filter, I was already miffed. I got in my car, starte hid to drive off, and noticed it was driving funny.Me, figuring it might have been the parking lot, I drove off. The noise got louder and my car was driving like it had a flat. I pulled over less than a block later, didn't see anything. Drove right back to Jiffy Lube, the guy looks at my tire and says that another lady had the same issue a few days before me and they found sheet metal on her wheel. He then finds the bolt. THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH MY CAR WHEN I PULLED IN TO GET MY OIL CHANGED. So I then speak to another gentleman, tell him the same thing, and he goes to get the manager. I then repeat myself a 3rd time, and he says, "I'm not arguing with you, but we don't know this happened here. It could have happened after you left." To which I told him that I noticed it before I got out of the parking lot. He then said, "Again, I'm not arguing with you, but it could have happened before you got here." I told him I knew it didn't and that I'm not stupid to drive my car when it feels like it has a flat, and that they need to do SOMETHING because this is a MAJOR inconvenience. He says the best he can do is plug it, but it might void my road hazard warranty. "I don't want a plug, because I'm most likely going to need a whole new tire." He says, "I can put your spare on for you, but really there's nothing else I can do from here." I tell him I was going to call corporate, and he says, "I can give your number to our district manager and he'll call you back...." I asked if we could call him right then and he said no, that the DM was unavailable. So I give the guy my name and number, he gives me his card, I go to call my tire place to see if I can get in, and find METAL ALL OVER THE FRONT WHERE THEY PULL YOUR CAR OUT. LONG STORY SHORT, IT'S BEEN 3 DAYS, I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM SAID DISTRICT MANAGER, I JUST CALLED CORPORATE, AND THE BEST RESPONSE I GOT BACK WAS, "THE FRANCHISEE WILL CALL YOU IN UP TO 3 BUSINESS DAYS. On July 28th 2019, I went to have my oil changed. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes, and customers that arrived after me were done before me. I submitted a complaint to corporate and the franchise owner got back to me. He told me he reviewed his tape and that my car was moved out of line so another car could get in front of me. To make up for it, he would send me a certificate for a free oil change. The certificate never arrived. This past weekend, my car was due for another change. I took my car to a competitor this time. The guy servicing my car informed me that my transmission fluid cap was missing and that my fluid was 3.5 quarts low. The last place to have touched under the hood was Jiffy Lube, which means they lost my transmission fluid cap and as a result, could have severely damaged my car. read more

I will NEVER return! Told me a brake line was leaking. Showed me the leak dripping on the floor. Told them OK then went out back to see where I was in line waiting to look for a puddle. NO PUDDLE! Brought the girl out and showed her. Then the manager comes out and is more than a little abrasive saying he does not like my tone and he runs a good shop. NO HE DOES NOT! The employee that was going over my car with me agreed to give me a 10% discount on my total order because i was doing wiper blades, upgrading to high mileage oil, and having my rear differential flushed and filled... I did not want to do the last one for 69.99 but it was low and they told me they couldn't just add. I informed him that I also had the little key fob for 15$ off in addition and he said that was okay...when I went to pay, the "Manager" or so he claimed, did not believe that the employee gave me a 10% discount, he claimed that because the employee was not authorized to give a discount that it could not have happened... he was actually questioning my honor, claiming that the customer is not indeed right, that i was lying for a measly 15 dollar discount (10% of 150$ total).... that right there is what will make me never return for service for either my or my wife's car ever again, and I will discourage others from using jiffy lube for service... we had to go find the employee and you could tell he was embarrassed. when his manager asked him if he gave me the 10% he said yes...then when i pulled out my 15$ off punch card fob thing, he tells me that NO NO YOU CANT COMBINE THEM... ??? are you kidding me? after all that and now hes telling me i cant use the discount card that EVERYONE who gets an oil change there gets, he tells me that because i got the 10% off that i couldn't get the 15 off.... this makes no sense as I am simply getting the 15$ off that EVERYONE else gets and no additional incentive discount to perform additional service to the normal oil change. overall, I believe that the "Manager" acted in a very Unprofessional manner, and if he was one of my employees I would fire him after watching a tape of what he did to me. these oil change places try to sell you a million things that you may or may not need and they get away with screwing the uninformed. this has gone on for too long! I had a hard time finding a place that didn't require an appointment. I was a bit skeptical about coming to Jiffy lube because of all the negative reviews, but, I had no choice but to come here. When I pulled up to the drive way, a young lady greeted me and directed us to the waiting area. She took my car inside the bay area and proceeded to take my cabin filter out and showed it to me, I was shocked how dirty it was; it was actually black. The gentleman advised me that my radiator fluid was old and I needed a radiator flush. I was very happy with the service they provided. First thing I look for is to see if they actually change my oil filter, and they did changed the filter out and did an excellent job. My car didn't smell like fuel anymore and they even vacuum my car, they reset my warning alerts which was awesome. Overall, I'm excited about the way my car is running; nice and smooth! I came in at 11am to get an oil change. At 11:30 they told me I needed new break pads and that it would only take a half hour to fix. After making them assure me multiple times that it would only take 30 minutes, since I had a 12:30 appointment, I agreed to the fix. It is now after 1pm and I am STILL sitting in the waiting room. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation on March 29. Thought I could trust them but I was very wrong in doing so. I noticed a strange screeching sound a few days after the rotation and set up a service appointment at Chapman Ford for April 12. Turns out that Jiffy Lube ruined all of the lug nuts after using the wrong tools, so now the lug nuts are basically welded to the wheel. I have to have Ford replace all of them and order new ones because the holes are now too large for the regular sized lug nuts. This also caused them to rub against the front break roaters (which should NEVER happen), and now Ford has to cut the roaters down and smooth them over so nothing touches them. Needless to say this is costing a lot of $$ to fix when none of this should have ever been an issue to begin with. If these "mechanics" at Jiffy Lube actually new how to do their jobs, this whole thing could have been avoided. But they don't. They've also refused to pay for the damages THEY caused. Fortunately I have proof that they caused the damages, which means they will be paying for them one way or another. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
