Had a catastrophic tire blowout on the expressway and was worried about what my options were, as the tires I had on the vehicle were in fairly good condition. I remembered that I bought the set from this Firestone location but couldn't remember if I had gotten the road hazard or not. Luckily I did, and the guys here were more than helpful in getting my tire replaced (prorated, as the blown out tire was unusable), getting an oil change, as well as an alignment. They were able to get me in and out in no time at all and even helped out with the cost of the alignment. Excellent customer service. I don't often feel this way at a place of business, but the manager at this store made me feel like a valued customer. Everything very straightforward and I never had a sense (as I have at other stops) that I was being steered toward repairs I really didn't need at the time. I felt a grinding at my feet. I called one mechanic and they did not act like they wanted my business. I called Firestone and Trent was so friendly. These guys here are ridiculous and will rip you off with their prices. My husband came in and a guy named Franciso said oil change was $50, then he said $40 then he went down to $24 after my husband asking why the prices are high. The services here are terrible. They give you attitude if you ask them about prices. He charged my husband for car alignment even though we bought the life time car alignment. They will try to charge you as much as they can probably because they earn commission from it. Highly not recommended. Go somewhere else for god sake. read more

My wife recently took her care to the Firestone located around 3600 Colonial Drive in Orlando, Fl for a standard oil change. She talked to me about how courteous and professional they were and that influenced me going there for some brake work I needed. The manager there was professional, helpful, and made me feel comfortable doing business there. The work was done in the time scope he said, within the cost I expected, and no longer having the mechanical issues I was having. The guys working at the counter were very friendly and efficient. I made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection and waited about an hour with just a couple of other people in the store. Waiting area was clean and overall my experience was good. Would definitely recommend for routine service. read more

Honesty is rare. I had a large staple in a tire (right on the edge of the top and side) and was confident it would need to be replaced. I took it in, and they quickly determined it was not deep enough to cause a problem. They pulled it out soaked in suds to confirm they were right. No charge. I'm sure there are places out there that would have told me I needed a new tire, this is not one of those places. read more

Recently stopped in for a quick oil change. I did not have an appt. but they worked my car in right away and had it out in 30 minutes. The manager was beyond professional. Explained other maintenance suggestions but did not push it on me to spend unnecessary money. He shook my hand and looked me in the eye when reviewing the bill. I came here earlier this week for what I thought was a simple flat tire. I walked into the front of the store and spoke with a very nice rep who then came out to my car to take a look at my tire. He immediately could tell that my car was unsafe to drive, what was wrong, and was upfront that they neither had the equipment at their shop to fix the problems nor the right tire/wheel (disclosure - I have a smart car, which uses smaller than average tires). It needed to go back to dealer or a full blown auto repair shop. They couldn't do anything for me, but they were extremely honest and allowed me to wait until the tow truck showed up. I wish more businesses had this kind of customer service because they just earned all my future tire-related business. read more

When I had oil change recently I had an estimate from the dealer for break job about $600. I called firestone. I was given an estimate about $400. I took the car to the firestone. They changed the estimate to about $900 which is higher than the dealer estimate. read more

I took my Saab into this location for some routine maintenance, the next day I noticed a small issue. I drove back to firestone and explained the issue to the manager, Chris, and it was all taken care of right then and there. Chris was professional and genuinely seemed to care about myself as the customer. Was not expecting to have my issue responded with in such a courteous and professional manner. Friendly staff and accommodating. They took care of my wife's car on short notice, balancing her wheels. One of the wheel weights was coming off by the time we got home which was frustrating though. Hopefully it stays on and doesn't throw it back out of balance. read more

I needed new tires for my SUV...and of course there are only two makers of the size I needed. I called around and almost everybody had to order them in adding a day or two extra. I called and spoke with Giovanni, and he was able to get my tires in house in about an hour. Not only did I get great service..it was quick. I should also say that their price was better than everybody else's as well...something that I really didn't expect with such a unique tire size. It was $70 to replace a front light bulb. Too expensive, but they treat their customers (and each other) very well. I recommend this place.

I went in needing an oil change and a repair on my tire due to a screw embedded and they were very aggressive to say that I needed new tires, an alignment, and some filters. I said that I can not pay for all of that at the moment and they were extremely aggressive and I ended up allowing two new tires and my oil change. I later realized for the amount of money they were originally charging I could have gotten 4 new tires and my oil change. i feel because I am a woman and was obviously tired and needing to go to work they thought they could take advantage. I do no think I will be going to Firestone anymore for any of my car needs. read more

While waiting for my car I received a phone call telling me that my battery was going bad and they recommended for it to be replaced. I had just bought this battery within the past year at O'Reillys auto store. After picking up my car I took it over to O'Reillys and had them check the battery and they said it was perfectly fine. Firestone tried up charging me. This is the second time something like this has happened to me at fire stone. You cannot trust these guys. read more

I was hesitant to go get my oil changed as the last few places I had gone to attempted to sell me things I didn't need! I am happy to say that Firestone on Colonial is my new 'home' for oil changes! The staff was friendly (we discussed the book I was reading), helpful, and professional. The staff at this location by the Fashion Square Mall are extremely helpful and friendly. They take good care of all of my cars. I have had a few repairs needed recently and they worked with me on the prices and so I did not feel ripped off like I have at other car repair places. They also give you a great printout of recommendations with the prices so there are no surprises on prices there as well. read more

Additionally, Trent did an amazing job of handling the car issue; moreover, he got me out of the repair shop faster than I expected. This is an update as promised. I have had several issues with the curry ford Firestone and the manager luis. I was informed by the D/M to go and see Chris and his team. Not only did they help me but they really have rubber/plastic on the tire machine so as not to damage the rims on my card. They also used a torque wrench to make sure the lugs are not over tightened. All the firestones should be doing these two very important things along with the Tires Plus. Both are under the same umbrella. Thank you Chris and his team. read more

These guys are awesome, and there is a super friendly lady at the front desk! My BMW's air dam had the clips bust off, and it started scraping the road. Most places look at a BMW and immediately try to price gouge you....but not this location. They took it in with no appointment, gave me an estimate of $10 and immediately fixed it. I've been getting my oil changed at Firestone for years, so went in this month when I was due. Recently my car sounded like it was having a delay when turning the key to start it, so not knowing much about cars, I asked them to check the "starter" for me. Luckily, they were able to diagnose the issue right away after describing it, and they said it was more than likely the battery. Sure enough, they tested it and it was on its way out. I appreciate being able to go somewhere and trust that they won't give me any run around or try to con me into spending way more than I need. I've had bad experiences in the past even with the dealership trying to have me do more work than needed. I'll continue going to Firestone for this reason. All the staff I met that day were also very nice and helpful to everyone. The other nice thing about this location is that you can head over to the mall across the street while you wait. read more
