Normally good service but about a 1 1/2 wait. Today when I dropped my car off at 2 I was told I would receive a call when my car was ready. After 2 hours I finished my errands and returned to firestone and my truck had just been brought inside. At the 2 1/2 hour mark I told the person who was working the register that anything over 2 hours needed to be expressed to customers so they can expect a 3 hour oil change. He instantly fired back that he had told me. I let him know I just missed an appointment and that if I was told to wait three hours I would've come back another day. I'd do less than 1 star if possible. $800 with a new set of tires later they left my spare tire not put away properly with the securing device not even securing the tire in place. Left all of the back spare covers open and a mess. They also didn't even put my lug nut covers back on an entire rim. Good customer service with fair pricing. My wife needed 4 tires for her car and I got a good deal on some Bridgestone drive guards. My wait time was longer than expected so they made up for it by knocking off additional cost which basically made my oil change free. This morning, while cold rand rainy out, my wife was transporting a foster dog in her car when she rapidly lost pressure in both right tires. This business was the first location she could safely get to. When she talked to the employee behind the desk, the man talked to her like she was stupid and suggested that the reason for the low pressure was because it was cold. My wife explained she knew this was not it because it was driving as if she had a flat. The employee then told her if she wanted the tires fixed it would not be done until 5pm...this was 8 am with 4 other people at the business. The employee continued to talk down to her saying he could air the tires up and she could be on her way, in the rain, by herself, with a dog. Any good ASE certified mechanic would never suggest this. I told my wife to go to Discount Tire across the street. They were very busy but she was in and out in less than an hour for an excellent price. Avoid Firestone Complete Auto Care at ALL COSTS! I have only had 3 interactions with is this location since I moved to Pflugerville, and they have all been good. However this most recent one warranted some big praise: This afternoon as I was leaving my house to go to work, I quickly noticed that my rear right tire had gone completely flat overnight. I was in a panic because I had to be at work in less than an hour. I called this location which luckily i live very close to and explained my situation and Scott told me to get here ASAP and that they would get me taken care of right away. I very slowly "limped" to their store and they were clearly busy but they were able to get me in, fixed, paid, and on my way in less than 30 minutes. I made it to work with 5 minutes to spare. They saved my day. I am so grateful to them for squeezing me in quickly and getting me taken care of. I will definitely be coming back for all my future needs. read more

Took my car in because my traction control light was on and my brake light would come on and off. Tried calling for an appointment but was told they didn't do appointments even though they have appointment times on their website. So I drop it off at 7:30 am. They do the diagnostic test to see why my lights are coming on. After having it almost the whole day they call me and tell me it's leaking brake fluid and my brake pedal is soft, plus some other things. Ok I know it's not leaking fluid because there is nothing ever under my car when I park. They tell me they don't feel comfortable fixing it and I should take it to the dealership because of all the problems. I also need a inspection which they tell me I would have to come back in a week because it would fail because of the lights on. I pick my car up and a few days later take it to another shop. They do the diagnostic test. All I need is brakes and new rotors. My fluid was low but never ever mention it was leaking fluid. They also did an inspection and holy cow it passed. I would love to give Firestone a negative star if I could. They need to hire people who actually know what they are doing. I would not ever ever recommend them to even my worst enemy. read more

I own a 2004 Volkswagen Golf 3 years ago I hit a Pot hole and my Alignment went off, my car has been drifting to the right for the last 3 years. * I have taken my car to several dealers around Austin Including the Pep-Boys on 183 and the one on Research and paid money to have the alignment corrected being told by both locations that the part that was bent could not be corrected.... After paying and having them make adjustments I had to settle for a small drift to the right ..... I moved on, and have become used to the fact that my car will always have a small drift. Today I needed new tires and breaks on my VW and I decided to go with Pflugerville Firestone because it was close and I felt I needed something new to try The staff was EXCELLENT and gave me options on Tires and explained how my brakes where wearing down and what needs to be replaced vs what I can get by with on my budget The staff told me they where confident they could correct the alignment problem so I decided to take a gamble and pay another alignment. Needless to say IT WORKED. 2 mechanics teamed up to unbolt the rear frame and hold it while another mechanic adjusted the way it sat... . Now I have awesome tires and breaks and my car is STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW!!! With new Tires, Breaks, and an Alligment correction that i was told could never be done I am 1000% happy with the service I Highly recommend this place I will be going here for now on for all of my work. read more

Dropped off my car here for service not too long ago to get AC fixed. They had to drain the unit and let it dry before charging it up again. This took all day which wasn't a problem, but it now doesn't blow as cold as it did before when I WAS having problems with it. Never had an issue at any other firestone. What's worse is they did nothing to compensate for this. I'm now unable to even my truck. I have taken my car to this same location 4 times since then for oil change / brakes / rotors and failed to mention that the minor oil leak reported in 2015 has now become major. We had our car towed to this location Monday morning. I called and told them we needed a clutch. The guy on the phone said they would have to run a diagnostic to confirm.. and it cost $100. I found it odd they had to charge for a dio on a mechanical problem but told them to go ahead and run it. So the guy calls me back and says it needs a whole new clutch. I already knew that. He then gave me the quote of $1950. I asked for a breakdown. He said the clutch kit (pressure plate, disc, pilot beating and throw out bearing) was $850, that price seemed really high! the flywheel resurfacing would be $150, and it also needed a slave cylinder for $250. The rest would be labor costs.... Before authorizing Firestone to do the work I decided to do some research..... I called 2 other nation wide companies and a local shop...After talking to the other places, the avg quote was $950. Which include all the same parts and labor but it also included a new flywheel. So I told him to have the car ready and we would be taking else where. When I went to meet the tow truck driver so we could get it towed to a different shop. I noticed they never moved the car from the original spot it the tow truck driver parked it in earlier that morning. (Angel of the car and it was parked on the parking line stripe) made it easy to tell it was never moved... the guy said they rolled it in and right back out!!! Ya right! So how did they do any diagnostic??? So be careful!!!! We got all the work done for $906. A $1000 less than Firestone...New pressure plate, disc bearings slave cylinder and a new fly wheel (not resurfaced) for almost the same price as Firestone wanted to charge us for the parts only! read more

I brought my car in for an oil change on Friday Sept 30th and have never in my life experienced such behavior in a customer interaction. To start with I arrived at 10:00am, and when I did the parking lot was mostly empty, yet I was still told there would be about a two to three hour wait. I said that was fine and left my keys and went walking. When I arrived back at this location at 1:30pm my car was in the bay but not being worked on. I waited in the lobby for roughly 30 more minutes (so doing the math I'm now at having waited for about four hours for a 15 minute job) and finally asked someone if my car was almost done. They disappeared into the bay and came back about 10 minutes later to tell me that my battery was now dead and they couldn't move my car. I had NEVER had any issues with my battery prior to this and the battery wasn't old. The young guy behind the desk looked at me with no offer of a solution. I explained to him that was unacceptable and that I expect them to at least charge it for me so I could leave. He recommended a new battery to which I refused since I knew something was fishy to which the other customers in the lobby with me agreed. Sure enough, my battery charged right up and once I was finally given my keys back and got into my car I found my headlights were on which leads me to believe that someone intentionally drained my battery to try and sell me a replacement. Very suspicious behavior. On top of that I should mention the dirty oil smeared all over my windshield and on car interior, my radio no longer working (apparently this is some kind of Honda security feature when the battery dies according to Firestone), and my car REEKING of cigarette smoke. This location is full of scam artists and filthy workers who don't care about the customer at all. I have been a loyal Firestone patron for nearly 20 years but I will NEVER go back to another location after this. read more

Had an appointment and ordered new tires. Showed up and they said they had forgot to order them. Told me that they would charge a delivery fee and I had to wait a day. When I finally got them the next day, they told me the warranty would be void if I didn't pay them $70 for an alignment. I told them I'd just go somewhere else hoping they would own up to their scaminess, and they said "sure, go right ahead" and we're very rude. I recommend Friendly Car Care instead. Google it. Steer Clear. When this place first opened, they were really on the ball. I was happy that good, dependable service was so close to my home. I had taken both of my vehicles there for service routinely. However, over time, the quality of service began to slump. There was an instance when this Firestone told me that they couldn't repair my vehicle. That I would have to take it to the dealer...it was just a 90K mile checkup. Another time when the salesman actually insulted me. After an oil change, I always make sure to ask the guys to clean up underneath as after changing filters, oil drains into open channels on the frame. When at home, my driveway is pitched so, uncleaned oil 'runs downhill' and drips onto my clean driveway. I took it back in and asked them ....again...to clean it up as it was dripping on my driveway. They cleaned it but then told me that I would have to fix the oil leak 'underneath' if I wanted to keep my driveway clean........ After getting the vehicle home, it no longer dripped........imagine that! Trying to sell me an unwarranted repair? On top of the insult? Recently went in to have them look at a very simple item.....but, they just refused to even look at it saying, "we have too many projects going on. Come back another day." .....the bays didn't look full to me.... So, I waited a few days and then went in first thing in the morning...first in line..... The car went up in the air and they failed to conduct one of the two things that they were supposed to do while the vehicle was in the air! I asked why and the response was, "Sorry, I forgot." Well, that's enough for me. Hopefully, they can get it together as they did very good in the beginning and had great service for a couple of years. I wish I had something positive to say but this location is simply dysfunctional operating with employees who do not take pride in their work, not to mention they try to sell you on unnecessary repairs running up your bill. I just want to say that I had a bad experience there 2 weeks ago. I'm not going to publish that as it was resolved in 2 days. This location has a new Manager "Angel" . He cares and turned my experience into a positive one. I see all the negative reviews going back years, Being in retail I can see he wants a clean slate and will make it right for everyone who comes to his shop. My experience just so happened to take place a few days after he was moved into the GM role , I contacted customer service and they had him call me and he explained who he was and what he was going to do to make his team deliver outstanding results. I have gone first thing in the morning when they open and I have also gone during non-peek hours around 2. In addition, the customer service is terrible. They can't get the steering wheel straight when doing alignments on my Town & Country. I have had it aligned there 3 times (bought the lifetime alignment, only reason I keep coming back), steering wheel is still off (very easy to correct if alignment is done right). I pointed it out after they failed the last time and my complaint was dismissed because they tech notice it being off during their "test drive". On 10/24 my Jeep belt tensioner broke (very common and very easy to fix), they quoted me $250 on the phone which was what I expected for a place like Firestone (I figured $50 labor, $90 belt, $100 tensioner + tax, they didn't itemize on the phone). I know changing the belt and tensioner shouldn't take longer than 30 min, places like that charge a minimum of an hour, fair enough. The belt and tensioner can be bought at Autozone/O'Reilly for about $150 for the lot, they have different parts and suppliers and need to make a profit so I expected to pay more, however when I picked up the car the bill all of a sudden was $312 + tax and they charged $150 for the tensioner. Now I know $61 more than quoted is not that much for a car repair, but were talking very standard parts and labor so there's no reason why their quote would not be exact - this was not a transmission being rebuilt, and I just don't think charging double the retail price for a part is fair, they're already charging me for 30 min they didn't spend (it's one bolt you have to loosen, right in front of the engine with plenty of room). Needless to say I'll be using another mechanic going forward for anything but inspections, and I'll find another Firestone to do my alignment (I'm figuring they already got their money, why would they care about doing a good alignment job, they'd probably rather have me go somewhere else and make them do the work). I took my car in on Monday August 26. The store manager called me and quoted me what it was going to cost me. I asked if that price was for everything! He assured me it was. Went to pick up my car and they had tacked on a extra 200. My boyfriend was furious and demanded to speak to management, the tech called the store manager and the managing partner neither would of these people would talk to my boyfriend. All in all, they would only take off the diagnostic charge. My check engine light was still on when I left, two days later my car is dead. They price gouged me on parts and now I'm having to invest in a new battery. I'm not satisfied with their service. I will never take my car back to this place, I should have checked yelp first to see that their was bad reviews before I took my car to them. Lesson learned! read more

Wanted $900 for a distributor. After telling me they did a diagnostic and charging $80, I changed myself for $240. Funny thing is that wasn't even the problem. I put back in the old one and had fixed for $240 totally unrelated. They will rip you off!! When I called they told me they didn't have diagnostic for me to see. We took our Jeep into get aligned- I made an appointment online. I was in and out within 35 minutes! It was aligned great as before it was pulling a smidgen to the right after they finished everything was great! When you have a 3 year old with you, time is gold! We did get the lifetime alignment so we shall see how that works out after 6K miles read more

I brought in a used truck I had just bought to have it checked for any issues it may have had and to have the AC condenser replaced on it. They pointed out that there was frame damage on this truck and advised I just take it back to the dealer instead of getting any work done on it so I did. This is my 3rd visit for somewhat major issues. Kirsten took care of me. My vehicle was shaking pretty bad and pulling hard to the left. I was expecting the worse. I got a phone call from Kirsten telling me what they found and assured me they would take the least expensive route in fixing the problem. They did just that. A new tire and an alignment was all that was needed. I opted for the lifetime alignment option as I did with my other vehicle. Kirsten also assured me that they would test drive the car after the repairs. It went from scary to drive to smooth as silk. The quality of the work they perform is top notch and the friendly customer service is important to me which is why I keep coming back. Terrible service. I've been here twice just to get air in my tires, because I have Firestone tires. Both times I go in, the guy says "just pull into the first garage and I'll have someone come right out to take care of you." Both times I've done that and waited over 15 minutes and NO ONE has come out yet. I go inside to tell the guy and he's all "oh yeah, just one second." Calls it on the loud speaker and THEN someone comes out a few minutes later to fill up my tires. The second time I went NO ONE STILL CAME OUT! Super annoying and super slow. This is the worst firestone I've ever been to, and I'll never go back. Just to summarize..we left the keys in the drop box in the morning to get an inspection. We called at 12:30 because we still hadn't heard anything from them about our car. They didn't even know they had our keys..so we give them 4 more hours..still no call, so we call them back and they say our car is ready. We go in and pay and then the guy just barely mentions that our car didn't pass inspection after he runs our credit card for the inspection. He had no clue what was wrong with the car or why it failed..they wanted to charge us $100 just to plug into their computer. I got my oil changed here yesterday on my Saab 9-3. I was spending well over $100 for an oil change at the dealership, so I decided to check around. I only spent $68 dollars here for a full synthetic oil change and got some great advice on what services to get in the future. There was NO pressure to get everything done today... Like MOST repair places like to do. I had a great experience and plan to bring my SUV in today for it's oil change. I plan to get all my future service needs taken care of here! read more

Hello, Feedback to everyone regarding my experience at firestone in pflugerville stone hill. I bring my company car there to get oil change at least once every 2 months but this time I brought my personal car to get it fixed due to issue. This is not about the money but how poor of a job they do to fixed the issue. I pay 100 dollar to get my car diagnostic check so they can find out what is the issue with it and it came back with 3 different issue and one recommendation. So I did not hesitate for them to fix it as long as it will fixed the problem. The amount was $700 dollar and after one week the issue was still happening. I called back to let them know that the issue was still going on and they did another diagnostic check but this time it is another issue for $400 dollar. Carlos mention the diagnostic was not charge but actually I did pay for it the last visit. Now I am currently not sure what did I pay for before and they can't give me an answer either. This new issue was not even mention to me last time so how can you be a car mechanic shop if you can't share with your customer all of the issue that cause your car not to work. I get it if I didn't pay for the check up service but this seem like a training issue. I have lost trust with firestone and will be spending my money somewhere else. read more

I had a horrible experience at my Firestone shop located off parmer and loop 1. near the hobby lobby, I found out thru this location that 1. they have an experienced mechanic here and most Firestone's don't. 2. my alignment didn't have warranty like I thought it did at the parmer location but still they looked at my alignment twice for free. Chris the manager immediately treated me like the president of the U.S, while being honest about wait time, he found a suitable time and day that fit my schedule to come in and do a thorough look as to why my car was pulling to the left....after hearing the honest report on my car I immediately trusted this location because it was accurate. I verified what could cause my car to do this and it was the same report I heard from the internet, my other experience tech, and my dad who's a skilled mechanic too but does his own work if he can. Micah and Steve also helped me and where very respectful and quick to help. What will make me come back is people like that! thank you for being a great location and making up for my bad experience.....fyi they passed my inspection with dark tint...just sayin'. lol I'll always come back due to that! read more

I took my brand new 2016 Honda Accord to this location after running over a nail in the road. The sales team was inattentive as if they didn't care about getting people in and out of the store in a timely manner. They quoted me on a time for the repair which I was fine with until hours after the time estimation they still had not pull my car into the garage. While sitting in the waiting room, time and time again I saw the mechanics lollygagging around as if they were milking the clock.
