I call my insurance company and they recommended Firestone tired to repair my car and the driver Keith dropped me off. He explained the situation to Phil the manager and I asked to speak to the manager regarding my car issues and he quoted me 3 times the cost to repair my vehicle and I have to wait until the next day for parts. I called my boyfriend and he was able diagnose my issues on car over video massage and I had the local mobile mechanic. Repairs the issue and half of price and half time I was quoted for the repair originally by Firestone tired company. Don't walk but run away from the company. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Should have looked at reviews first. Stopped there yesterday as walkin and told at least an hr before they could repair my slow leak in back tire so they scheduled me for today. When I showed up for my appointment on time, I was promptly told it was a two hour wait and when I said, I have an appointment the man at the counter indicated that's not his fault and proceeded to tell me about his help and what they're running into. He offered no apology almost indicating it was my fault that there was a two hour wait so I walked out and will never come back to this store. Customer service is poor! read more

Used them for all my vehicles and also my kids . Service went down hill and I went else where. Thought I would give them a second chance today. Made an appointment to have a leaking tire repaired. Arrived at 10:45 for a 11 o'clock appointment. They took my info and keys and took the work order out to the shop. A few minutes later they came out and told me it would be a long delay 4 hrs ........ 4 hours to take a tire off and patch it ?????? When you have people waiting vs dropping cars off you can stop work somewhere and take care of your waiting appointment. Especially when it not a major repair. Will not be going back! Btw went to Goodyear and in 45 minutes the tire was repaired and on my way back home!!!! read more

Took almost 2 hours before car was pulled in. Another hour and a half hours for the service (oil change and serpentine belt) They were not busy, I was 1 of 3 people in the lobby. Employees were sitting in the back office watching inappropriate videos on social media, and even making fat jokes about the videos they were watching, while in direct earshot of all of the customers. All of the technicians are 16 years old. While I was here I heard "Ricky isn't allowed to do alignments anymore, it's always wrong" because a truck was messed up and apparently that happens a lot. They also ordered the wrong serpentine belt for my truck, and they turned away a customer for a battery check because "the master tech left at 2:45 and we need a master tech to do a battery test" A master tech? Really? You can have a battery test done by a kid at Oreillys. This was by far the worst service I've ever had. I am not a person that generally writes reviews, unless it is absolutely horrible or it is really amazing. This is one of the horrible ones. Unprepared, unprofessional, slow, expensive, jeez. Go somewhere else! This ain't the one. I have not seen one person leave here happy in the 4 hours I have been here today. Oh, and I spent almost $400 for an oil change and a belt. Contacted firestone in pavilion to have (new tires mounted on new rims) flipped so RWL was facing out) was told they'd do it, made the appointment. Im physically disabled so it was very hard trying to load these tires into truck. got it done brought to firestone, waited a bit then was told I didnt buy tires there and they were 8 years old so they would tear apart if done. Suggested I paint letters white instead... No Thanks. but thanks for telling me to load them up and bring them there. Appreciate the pain. I used to love firestone, used on lots of my cars and trucks, but thats over now. Go Elsewhere and get good tires and Honest service. read more

They confirm appointments and when you get there they tell you that they cant take you because they have a big job. Not even the courtesy of a phone call to tell you. Rude staff unless they find something big to repaieon your vehicle and charge you an exorbitant amount for the repair. They also tell you that you need repairs that you really don't need. Like new shocks when your vehicle has only 9,000 miles on it and is practically new. The Port Orange store is the worst. read more

I go in as my vehicle was having an issue. They check it out and tell me that somewhere along the line someone has installed a part that was the wrong one for my vehicle and that this was what was now causing the issue. As I purchased the car new and have nearly always have had it serviced here I determined it must have been THEM that installed the wrong part. In fact, I, being the way I am, had with me all the records and showed them exactly when that part had been installed at their shop. Naturally I felt they should not charge me to replace said part since the problem and current need for replacement was caused by them. But, lo and behold, when it came time to check out and pay the story changed to now it being some other cause, not the wrong part as I was initially told. So they evidently correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed the problem but I felt they were at some point blowing smoke/ just trying to get $$ rather than standing behind their work. They did a good job on the work and the pricing was fair, but in return they misplaced/lost my back windshield wiper arm and broke my key fob. Also, there employee by the name "Joe" should not be handling paperwork with customers or having any interactions. For my first time there his attitude towards customers is nasty and uncalled for. I'm not entertained that they want to pay for the less of both things. Good luck to any future customers. read more

I am a customer there. Bought 4 new tires for an SUV earlier this year and oil changes etc. I was there to get my tires rotated and an oil change. They checked the car over and said I needed a new battery. I figured mine was over 4 years old and why not give them a little business. So after paying 50 dollars more for my battery than I could have bought it down the street I come to find out that they did not clean the battery terminals or spray any anti corrosive stuff on the terminals during installation. They told me that was 20 dollars extra. And to make matters worse my battery is not really accessible without removing parts of the engine so to do it myself is a pain. They should have done this while the battery was sitting in front of them during install. And it should be for free. Who installs a battery in a shop and does not clean the terminals or at least offer it to the customer before it is all closed up? I bought a 5 dollar can of the spray myself but can only get to one terminal. I will have to wonder what's going on with the other one now for the life of the battery. ...yes it is that hard to get to.... I did the survey they emailed me afterward and they called me right away defending their position that to clean battery terminals is a very costly item. I don't want to go back to that place if I have tire or battery issues going forward... A bit sleazy....just google the news story on that location a few years ago...says it all.... stay away...... read more

Traveling on vacation with a time sensitive destination and this was the third shop we stopped at to have brake replaced. The service advisor quickly fit us in between appointments, recommended a dog friendly place for breakfast nearby, and had us back on the road in less than 2 hours! Couldn't ask for more!! read more

If you need a simple oil change this place is for you, but if you need anything that requires any kind of mechanical knowledge go somewhere else. They did simple tasks like changing tires however ended up spending over $100 for an alignment and they messed it up. It took 6 hours to complete the tire change and cost a lot of money and when I called, the staff was rude and told me that I would just have to continue to wait. If you have no plans and need an oil change come to this place, otherwise I suggest you take your time and money elsewhere. read more

I was 20 minutes early. 45 minutes after my appointment time they moved my car inside. Real nice technician told me everything I needed and let me look at problems. Mangers told me he does not have parts and can not even order them. I wasted my whole day. And it is a Sunday and now no one else is opened. I'll never go back. Excellent service at this Firestone location. Recently had my vehicle towed to this location after it died while driving on vacation. After looking through the vehicle for over a day and a half, they recommended that I get in contact with the dealership as it was an issue regarding a recall. I worked directly with one of the managers, Nathan, who was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Came in to have a nail removed from my tire... after 1 hour wait they started the work after removing rim and tire, they stated they didn't have all the parts for the tire removal machine to complete the job and didn't know where the parts went... First time here--they fixed my tires fast. They weren't pushy and they have a nice "wait area" with comfortable chairs. My back wiper is garbage so they asked if I wanted that replaced but I said no-and they didn't push the issue. The place was deserted-I was there with one other lady and she ended up being done and leaving within 10 minutes of me getting there. I didn't have to make appointment ahead of time or wait long for them to replace my tires. What more can you ask for!? They open at 7am so I still have the rest of the day to enjoy. Highly recommended and the prices were very reasonable. And since it is in the Pavilion--you don't have to wait or your car in the wait area--go shop, go eat or if you want to walk a little--go watch a movie! Get here early if possible-people are rarely ready to go at 7am! read more

I made an appointment to get a simple oil change. I asked how long it would take when I arrived. I was told 45 minutes. I waited in their waiting room and put my timer on 45 minutes just for the heck of it. After 40 minutes my car was still in the same spot I parked it in when I arrived. Btw, they were not busy at all. I could see the oil changers in the bay area joking around with each other. Right when I was ready to give up and leave, someone came out and took my car in with two minutes left on my timer. Then it took another 20 minutes for them to finish changing the oil in my car. I know they aren't called Jiffy lube, but really... 65 minutes fir a simple oil change!?! If you have nothing better to do with your time, I recommend wasting over an hour at the Taylor Road, Port Orange location. If you have a life, pick somewhere else to get an oil change. read more

I have been taking my vehicles to this firestone location since the day they opened. The best thing I can say about the store is that they are convenient for myself. Well, I should be ashamed of myself for continuing to use this location; but they are convenient for me. Well, convenience is not worth the unwarranted expense and aggravation I have put myself through. I can tell stories all day about unsatisfactory experiences I've had, but today was my final experience. If I could give zero stars I would. The experience I had this week was absolutely disgusting. They totally took advantage and honestly tried to rob me. I'm a young college student, I took my car in for a simple check, I had a feeling it was just a battery replacement. After 3 days I finally received a call back letting me know it was my battery. I show up the next day for a price estimate and was told it would cost $171 for the battery replacement. A little pricey, but I figured it's already here so I just went ahead. They also added on new windshield wipers for $20 a piece, again a little pricey but whatever. The TOTAL, SIGNED FOR price I agreed to was $235. I was told it would take them 10 minutes. I walked over to the surrounding stores for about 35 minutes, by the time I came back, they still had not even moved my vehicle from the parking lot. A technician came and told me another 10 minutes. I watched them thru the window literally just standing around my vehicle for an hour and a half, not working on a single thing, not even other vehicles. After watching them take 2 minutes to actually do the work I needed done, they come in and tell me my final total was $350 for a battery replacement. They proceeded to tell me they tacked on a $99 diagnostic charge that not a SINGLE employee had mentioned once, as I've gone to this particular occasion on multiple occasions, and have never ever ever paid a diagnostic fee. My son was travelling south on I-95 and experienced car trouble. It was Sunday evening, so no place was open, and that meant that he had to spend the night in a hotel. Early the next morning, I contacted Ron at Firestone, explained what happened, and he said that the sooner we got it to him, the better. My son got it there right away. The serpentine belt was messed up due to a worn out bearing in the fan pulley. It took several hours to get the part, but they had already prepped the car for it, and when the part got there, they on it like a NASCAR pit crew. In short order, the car was ready, and my son was on his way. This absolutely couldn't have been handled any better, and I recommend this business without hesitation. read more

I have always been extremely satisfied with Firestone. We've had to use them in the past for our travel trailer. On this trip, I was visiting a friend and needed a tire plugged on my Caravan before driving 200 miles home. Thankfully, they were open on a Sunday. The manager on duty was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely accurate when he said it would be about an hour and a half. My friend and I walked around the nearby stores and came back in an hour and a half and they were pulling my van out of the stall. Firestone my be a bit more expensive than other auto care facilities, but I know I'll be getting qualified technicians and courteous service. I highly recommend Firestone. read more

So I just picked my car up from Daniel at this location and there is a vibration worse than when I brought it in. This was a online appointment made. I had tires replaced and service contract by Firestone so we needed the rotation. One tire had stacked weights and I pointed that out to him to fix or rotate the tire. Not done. We drove home and then the tire light came on and noticed the vibration. We'll go to another Firestone again and try to get it right. read more
