They denied covering the cost of a new engine because when we had it towed to another shop closer to home, after the mechanics there removed the original oil filter and discarded it. Even though our new mechanic took pictures of where the oil plug should have been and confirmed that it had fallen out, Goodyear would not cover their mistake. We ended up having to pay for the new motor ourselves out of pocket. Because of this, I will NEVER take any of my vehicles here again. Apparently, loyalty is a one way street with Goodyear.

These guys are idiots do not stand behind their cheap metal they use and charge more than a dealer. If you care anything about your vehicle I would take it to Tire Discounters on Henderson Rd. I was there for 4 new tires, an alignment, and free oil change. I gave it 2 hours and came back. My car hadn't been moved or even touched. Then they tell me to give it a few hours and they'd give me a call once it was ready. I went back home and gave them 4 hours till I called and asked about my car. They told me my car was ready and they don't know why nobody had called me. I showed up for the 3rd time in one day and as they are looking over my paperwork, they say someone forgot to do my alignment. The front counter guy told me that if I bring it in the next day, they'll take care of it. I was a little frustrated because I waited all day, paid $650, and didn't get what I paid for. I left there and the moment I got on the highway, my tires started making a terrible noise that I've never heard before. It sounded so bad, I thought my car was about to break down. I called the store back and told them about my issue and they told me to bring it back so they could take a look at it. Once I got there, they had no idea what it could be. I had to leave my car there for the 4th time that day because I had a family event to attend. Shortly after arriving to my family event, I get a call from tire discounters and they say that they found the problem. They said they accidentally put the wrong size tires on my care and I was going to have to pay over an extra $200 for the right size tires. After all this inconvenience, I asked the manager Mike to please put my old tires back on and to start processing a refund for me. He said that gonna be a tricky thing to do because corporate has to get involved and I said I didn't care, you didn't do the job I paid for and I want my money back. Finally, Mike sends a email to corporate and tells me it'll take 7-15 business days. I take my care the Stringer repair shop and they tell me that I'm missing 2 lug bolts from my rim and have to pay an extra $16 for 2 new lugs. It's now been a month since that day and I still don't have my $650 refund check and I just got off the phone with manager Mike and he still can't give me an answer on why I haven't received my refund check. This has been the worst experience I've ever had and I highly recommend not to come to this store. Stringer auto repair in Johnstown took care of my car and I had no issues with them. Very frustrating experience. I wanted to take the cheap way out and go with tire discounters but ended up paying double. Don't make the same mistake I made.

Here's a few examples ... TUFFYs on WEST 5th Av told me I needed SUSPENSION STRUTS ($1664 worth) coz my vehicle was "very bouncy" which it isn't AT ALL & they didn't even drive the car! Note: I had a 4 WHEEL ROTATION/BALANCE AND ALIGNMENT the day before elsewhere. I called back to the place that did my alignment to be sure they checked all suspension components (just out of curiosity since it's hard to trust some of these places) and they DID to find nothing that needed replaced! Then Tuffy said I "needed" a BATTERY REPLACEMENT coz there was some RESIDUE on it! Instead of just wiping it off, they'd prefer to rip off a customer! That was going to be $200! They sure don't go out of their way, in the very least! Then I "needed" SPARK PLUGS... (I had those replaced 3 years ago and had no issues there either.) Another $300! Then I "needed" BRAKE FLUID FLUSH (No reason just that it needed to be topped off) Oh they don't do top offs for a simple pouring of fluid into the reservoir until it reaches the full line! They'd rather charge $115 for a FLUSH! Then I "needed" STEERING COMPONENTS (tie rods & steering gear) Again, I had no issues there. Oh, that was an additional $500. The next day AFTER this BS nightmare, I brought the list of repairs from TUFFY to my regular car repair place that I've used for a decade for any major problems come up coz he's proven to be trustworthy. He did a DIAGNOSTIC and found nothing wrong with any of the above issues. (Which I already felt I knew but wanted confirmation.) So, THIS is what they call a "FREE COURTESY INSPECTION!" I'd call it something else but all in all saved myself $3,000 coz I speak up, ask questions, decline and follow thru with what I knew was a means of financial exploitation.
