I went in to get an oil change and everyone there was very nice and accommodating. I am always afraid about going to auto places because a lot of times they try to sell you things you don't need, but that wasn't the case here! One of the workers came to me and asked if I wanted to fix my wind shield wipers since it was streaking, and when I said "no," he was very understanding (even though I then changed my mind and asked them to fix it before I left). I think this business is engaging in unethical behaviors. I have a GMC terrain that got timeshare issues but people here pretended they knew how to repair it. Returning to the store three times, they finally told me to go to the dealer to fix it. My friend has a car that is one year old and they asked him to change battery. Another friend has a broken transmission system right after she did oil change with the store. Don't recommend anybody to go there. read more

To start off with the good, they are very polite and take care of your vehicle. But for the negatives, since they are part of a franchise they are restricted by all sorts of liability regulations and are unable to be flexible on a per customer basis. They are not allowed to install new tires on a vehicle unless they do all 4 themselves. So I got to wait at the shop for over an hour while they removed my two back tires only to decide that they didn't want to install the new ones. After waiting longer for them to put the wheels with the old tires back on I was looking at a wasted 2 hours. I would suggest finding a local shop that's not affiliated with any franchise. read more

Their technician stole my phone charger out my car and they are lying about it.. never go here if they steal a charger they will even steal parts off your car they downplayed my claim and dismissed the fact that I was the customer. Never go here ! read more

Had a simple nail puncture in my tire that they said they couldn't patch or plug because it was too lateral. Ended up buying a new tire from them because I was naive. Years later and many additional punctures later fixed by plugs or patches, I believe that a new tire was truly unnecessary. I really should have gone to a more reputable shop and gotten a second opinion. I suggest Phils tire shop. read more

I dropped in on a Friday morning for an OD/ID check after I got to DMV and found out the last shop I went to didn't do all of the correct inspections. I was told they didn't have any appointments for a couple of weeks, but after seeing I was stressed about the situation they said they would squeeze me in for an appointment right there and then. IF YOU ARE FEMALE & YOUNG, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I dropped off my car and told them I needed my oil change. They were very friendly and said they would have it done quickly, which was appreciated. When I came back to pick up my car three hours later, they charged me $75 dollars for the oil change. The guy working the counter could tell I was shocked (an oil change at the dealer usually costs $35). He explained they had used synthetic oil. When I asked why they would give me synthetic oil when I didn't ask for it, he gave me some BS answer that it was standard for Toyotas. Since he could tell I was upset, he said they were running a special and knocked down the price by 25%. I am aware that I am a young woman and that I don't know much about cars but I do not appreciate being taken advantage of. I will be going elsewhere for car maintenance from now on. Wish I had read the reviews before trying out this Firestone. It looks like other women have had the same experience in the past. read more

I was getting a low air in tire indicator light in my car even though I had just refilled all of the tires two days before. I was visiting St. Louis from out of town and wanting to get on the road for the five-hour drive home. The team at this Firestone location assessed the problem very quickly and presented my alternatives clearly so that I could make a decision with which I was comfortable. I had a service associate named Jacob . I came in for a safety and emissions test. I was quoted up to 2 hours.it only took 60 min. From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out the service and knowledge was impeccable . His findings and suggestions were offered and not pushed. This service makes me want to come back ! I literally described my experience there as a "yelp-able" moment as I went from a near flat tire to being fully operational with new wheels in less than 2 hours!!! Almost two hours for an oil change and tire rotation.... Scheduled an appointment for 11am and my car wasn't in the shop until at least 11:30am. Asked about the amount of time it was taking and staff was dismissive. Came here for convenience but next time I'll be better off at the dealership for the same price. read more

The customer service here is really impressive. They made a mistake on my car so they quicly fixed it, charged me nothing, and then gave me coupons for 3 free oil changes. When I came in for an oil change 6 months later, the manager still remembered me. Very professional establishment. read more

Had our car in for it's regularly scheduled service. Firestone uncovered an issue which require dealership action. They provided me with the temporary fix to the issue and refused to charge me for anything... despite the fact that they put resources and labor into it. The reason they wouldn't charge was because they couldn't 100% resolve the issue themselves. They refused payment despite the fact I insisted we pay them something. Mike, Lynn and the entire staff have been exceptionally helpful every single time I have talked to them. I'm not one of those people who is wary of car shops. I simply search for the ones who have a great reputations and who are customer focused. Firestone on Forsyth is EXACTLY one of those places. I love that I have a place to service my cars that is grown on a basis of full mutual trust and courtesy. It's like having your good mechanic friend service your car. But better, because it is a whole team of people putting your interests first. My highest recommendation. read more

The staff was courteous and friendly but the prices for a battery replacement was very steep. I've been to several places that do it for free if you buy the battery from them-here I paid over $70, plus a $30 inspection, for a service that I have gotten for free elsewhere. Went in today for an Oil Change. I was a little nervous follow a bad experience at another location, Well I am really a Fan of this place. I was greeted warmly by Chris who listened to my request and took my car in immediately, Spoke to a gentleman in the waiting room who said he loves these guy and has come here for many years, A young couple from AK was also there. After less tan 45 min. my car was done..WOW and the young couple's car who came in after me was also ready. I am really impressed & when I mentioned I was doing a review, the couple from AK said to add their excellent review of the service they received. I will definitely be back & will also recommend them to my friends & family. They clearly know how to provide excellent service in a professional & friendly way. read more

I had a flat front right tire. They fixed that and inspected my car. They told me that I needed an alignment, a front right ball joint, a new front left tire, a light bulb replaced by the license plate and that I would need to back tires eventually. They asked if my car was vibrating or shaking at all. I said no. They said that now it would until I got everything fixed. I drove the car and it did now shake and it started to make a loud noise. I let them know and he said that yes, that would happen. I made an appointment to have the front right ball joint fixed, an alignment done, a light bulb replaced and a new front left tire for the upcoming Friday. That Tuesday, I was driving on Highway 40, in rush hour and my left tire came off!!! I had to cross over four lanes of busy traffic to get to a small shoulder. I had the car towed to Firestone. They are the only placed that has worked on my car since it was at the dealership on October 28th. They took a week to fix the car. And they are taking NO RESPONSIBILITY for what happened!!! It cost me over $1700 to have it repaired. There is also body damaged that is going to cost a lot to fix, my car door creaks when it opens. And now my brakes squeal when I use my brakes. I will NEVER go to Firestone again. When I picked up my car, no one went over the receipt with me. They told me that my car would be ready at 5:00pm, it was not ready until after 6:00pm. I tried to talk to the man about how I hope that they noticed the car seats in my back seat because I normally have my four and seven year old children in the car and he very sarcastically told me to have a nice day.
