Each and every time I have ever stepped foot in here which has been approx 3 times with various family members, the same sales guy which o think is possibly the manager now has been nothing but full of excuses and why he can't do things or how it's going to take an extremely long time (for a tire rotation) yet when another person went in there that was going to spend money got a total different type of treatment. This not only has happened once but 3 times with the same exact guy. Super rude, non accommodating, never helpful, very arrogant and I called American Tire Depot right after and they said come on over and got me in right away and they were so very nice and personable as they have been on the past. Don't go to this place!!! Had an appointment to swap out the wheels on my brand new car. They called while we were 5 minutes away from dropping off the car to say that they needed to reschedule for the next day. When we arrived at the shop the manager spent about 10 minutes looking at the wheels and tires and then we were told that they actually couldn't do it giving some bogus excuse about not being allowed to use used tires. This after telling us they could do it and they were recommended by the Tire Rack as one of their go to shops. WTF!#*$% why did they say they could do it? Why did they change their minds? Unethical!!!! Went to Santa Barbara Tire and Service they did the job in no time no questions asked no problem, go there.!! read more

My work vehicle is a hybrid and had not been driven for a few weeks. So, the battery had recently been depleted and needed a jump start. Immediately after it was jump started I took it over to this Firestone location for an oil change. The next day the car was not ready by the time it was scheduled to be due. I spoke to a representative named "Elan" who was unfriendly and somewhat aggressive with me on the phone. He insisted that the car needed a new battery and was waiting for the company fleet credit company to authorize a new battery purchase. The car had less than 2,800 miles on it and this was an incorrect claim by the representative. When I went to pick up the car Elan refused to give me a invoice stating that he was still waiting for approval for the service. This was also incorrect because necessary and routine maintenance is always "approved." Additionally, if it did need approval it would have certainly needed to be approved prior to the service. I stated that I needed to show some proof of service to the vehicle fleet staff and was reluctantly provided with a copy of a work order/estimate in addition to be told that I was "being complicated." The vehicle fleet managers at my job were concerned that the oil change had not been performed and questions regarding charges on the account. Went to get an oil change recently. They said they'd top off all the fluids. But they did not put any windshield wiper fluid even though they said they would. If they're lying and skimping on that. Who knows what else they're up to. Little to no integrity. read more

Save yourself some grief and find ANYWHERE else to go... the manager scammed me, assumably because I'm a young woman and look like I wouldn't know any better, and told me there was much more wrong with my car than there was just so they could make some money off me. They seem like a great team, but every time I have taken my Subaru Impreza and they have sailed to fix anything and I'm still charge me for it. Multiple times I have had to take my car to another mechanic to get the same things fixed. I bet they're good at basic oil changes and maybe some basic car mechanics, but for my car they haven't been able to help out. read more

My daughter had a nail in her tire on a Sunday morning. She took the car in to have it repaired. Before even looking at the tire they told her it would be 2 hours!! I went to Urgent Care the same time she took her car in, I was through Urgent Care and went to Firestone because they were still there!! And it took almost another hour for them to even get to her car. Seems they had time to stop what ever they were doing to fill tires for the people on the Fiesta bike ride!! I saw a lot of nothing being done and a lot of talking going on in the car bay. When the man in charge heard me say something about it it opened a window into the shop and finally said something. My daughter explained she had a 5 &1/2 hour drive to get home and she would probably miss her son perform on stage if it would take 2 hours to repair a flat. Apparently that didn't seem to matter to them at all. Thanks for being so inconsiderate. There are so many complaints about this tire shop I am surprised the owners aren't reprimanding the workers. Such a frustrating experience. I went in for a ride share vehicle inspection, something that takes 15 minutes to do. Not only did they hose me by marking my brakes as a fail when my mechanic said they were fine, but they said a brake light was out when it wasn't. So legally, I had to go get these things fixed before getting my "free" reinspection. I spend nearly 1k on new tires, brakes, and rotors, just to come back to them saying they're too busy to complete the reinspection since it was an hour before close- fine. I come back early the next morning and they not only try to charge me for a new inspection after they told me it'd be FREE, but they acted a lot busier than they actually were considering there were very little cars in the lot. Im there when they opened and they told me they wouldnt finish for several hours. The clerk was extremely rude and bitter about something so simple, and had zero sympathy for my struggles over the last couple days running around getting everything replace. They were annoyed with me because I chose to get new tires from my mechanic for $500 as opposed to theirs for over $900. So I left and went next door to Meineke, who was 10000 times better and faster! I'll never go to Firestone again. read more

The entire Firestone crew that worked with my car was extremely friendly and professional, especially Elan (I believe that was his name). Although getting all new tires on my car took longer than I was initially informed, the crew made sure to update me with progress during my wait. I was charged for four new tires and an alignment test, and even though I had to run to an appointment before I could get the alignment test taken care of, Elan scheduled me for another appointment within 48 hours and made a note in the system to refund me for the alignment test in case we found out later that it wasn't needed. All in all, aside from the wait, I would recommend. read more

Great service! Had a incident on Memorial day weekend (my sister went head to head with a curb and lost). With the help of a AAA service man, we hobbled up from Ventura at about 7am on a donut. Naturally we had freakishly large tires and not anything that could easily be swapped out in the shop, but Elan sent one of his guys to another tire store 30 miles away and got us up and running much faster than he estimated. We weren't even charged an outrageous rate despite our urgent situation on the busiest driving day of the year! We got to enjoy our road trip after all (until I ran out of gas) but that's not important, just ask for Elan. read more

Best for breaks, alignment, suspension. If you rely on your car for daily transportation, go here first. Twice, they've been able to complete all four breaks in an afternoon without an appointment. Other, shops downtown can take weeks. Super efficient, helpful, and because they are Firestone, they stand behind their work. You can go to any Firestone location if something goes wrong. If you break down in Ventura, there's another Firestone nearby to make it right. read more

After waiting for an hour they went on to tell me I needed a new battery which has never given me any trouble. My car was in the shop last week and my mechanic said everything was perfect. Firestone is a great. First of all they are one of the only places opened on Sunday which I'm very thankful for . I had my car towed there and they gave me a call and told me exactly what was needed to be done. Jeff was so kind and explained exactly what they had to do and had it done in a timely matter . Oil changes take forever, even with an appointment. I once had an appointment for 3:30 and they didn't start changing the oil until 4 pm. The last straw for me was when I made an appointment to get something fixed on my car and the guy who I think is the manager (big bald guy) said he would order the part and that it should arrive by my appointment day. My appointment day comes and I walk in to drop off my car and the guy at the front (different guy) tells me that the part my car needed wasn't ordered and that he doesn't know anything about it! I was super annoyed because I had already scheduled a ride with a relative since I had to leave my car there for a couple of days. I did end up re scheduling my appt because the 2nd guy I talked to ordered the part for my car right then and there. However, I won't be coming back here for anything due to this incident and other events that happened while my car was being fixed. My car was under warranty and I believe they just didn't want to deal with all of that paper work etc. read more
