Horrible! ZERO stars. Waited ALL day for my vehicle. Dropped it off at 8 am received a call to pick up at 4:45 pm. The incompetent techs broke the latch to open my car hood. Had to find out at 4:35-4:40 that my oil couldn't be changed. The car hood latch worked before the drop off. Nothing was done to attempt to call beforehand... not a single apology. Do NOT go to the Stateline Rd. Firestone. HORRIBLE service. I've gone to Firestone for years (Goodman Road/Airways in Southaven or the Poplar/Highland location in Memphis). If I could leave zero stars I would! The lack of professionalism from the staff was surprising. I called for an appointment and was told to bring my car in before 5:00. I arrived at 4:50. I told the clerk that I had an appointment for 5:00. Her exact response: "No you don't cause ain't nobody here to do it. I don't know why they keep setting appointments for 5 knowing we close at 6." I would like to leave a ZERO. That being said I took my car in to have the alternator replaced I was told it would take 5 hours. After five hours, I called because I had not heard from them. They told me a bolt was broken and they had to find a bolt and the car would be ready the next day by noon. Day two I called them around 1 pm and was told they still could not find a bolt. I called a local Nissan dealer who said their parts department had the bolt in stock for my car. It took them a total of three days to find the bolt after I told them Nissan had the bolt in stock. I was told by the Firestone Complete Auto Care Manager that it was my fault it took so long because I brought them a broken car to be fixed. They put a oil filter on my car that was way too small. You could see where they used some kind of tool to make the filter stay in there. Oil leaked everywhere in my driveway and got on everyone's shoes and inside my house. My car had absolutely no oil in it and had to put some in there just to make it to auto zone to buy the oil and filter to just do it ourselves. The filter was in there so tight it took 3 different people with different tools just to get it out. It could have blown my motor on a very sentimental car. Consider this your WARNING!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE EVER!! I went in to get an oil change September 27, 2023, at Firestone on Stateline Rd. in Southaven, MS. First disappointment is they ripped me off charging me almost $80 for an oil change on a 2001 Camry. I waited until the end of the transaction to tell him I had a coupon only to be lied to and he told me he already added the coupon. I asked him how can you add a coupon before you even knew I had a coupon? That really made me upset. I went ahead and paid. They are Scamming and RIPPING people off. I only drove my car 3 times after the oil change. On October 4th, I came home in the car and left back out hours later to pick my son up only to notice a huge spot in my driveway. I dabbed it with a napkin to see if I could tell what it was. I automatically thought to check my oil. I checked my oil three times, and there was no oil on the dip stick at all when I pulled it back out. I immediately called corporate. They gave me the run around for three months and would not repair my car. On November 3, they sent an inspector out from nationwide insurance (supposedly) and he took pictures and told me that he sees these cases all the time. He stated Firestone had over tightened the bolt on the oil pan and broke it and that caused all of the oil to run out of my car. He told me they should contact me in about 3 days. Well, I never heard from anyone. Finally, December 31st I called corporate again to try to get this resolved because I did not want to try to go to court over this, I just wanted them to fix my vehicle. The young lady said they had closed my case. I told her no one ever contacted me, and I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor was so nice, respectful, and helpful. I got a call from the Firestone on Union on January 2nd that they would be sending a tow truck for my vehicle. (Review for Firestone on Union coming shortly). Needless to say, Finally, on January 3, 2024 I picked my vehicle up and NOW I have a whole other problem with my car :-( BEWARE: If you love your car, and cars are so expensive to maintain now, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE! I went to the Towne Center location (greeted with a warm smile and gentle conversation) and they were out of stock on the tires I needed and down a mechanic or two. He called the Stateline Rd store to see if they could accommodate me and surprisingly he said yes. Upon arrival, the lobby was clean and the mood was festive. I was greeted by Mr. Alex and this is where the magic begin. He was pleasant and explained what I needed and why. His explanation was on my level of understanding. The techs/mechanics worked together...minimal words but harmonious teamwork. This crew provided the best customer service experience I've had in a long time and I am elated to share. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My car would not start. I took my car in for a diagnostic and they told me that the battery and alternator needed to be replaced. I paid $800 to replace it. I was able to drive my car for a week and the same problem came about. Took my car in again, couldn't tell me what's wrong with my car. Also they broke my hood latch and lied about it. Please save your money and go elsewhere! read more

Professional and timely We almost blew out our lower suspension a arms. It was inspected quickly 20min. And diagnosed. We consulted. And they had parts inside 30mins. (We went to Graceland) and the a arms were fixed by the time we got back. Unfortunately our salty car required replacing salt frozen tie arms for the steering system too. Again quick and efficient and although we were delayed 4-5 hours. As customers we were informed and involved in each part of the process !! Keep up the good work. Contacted store at 9:30 Am about getting an oil change. Ron said no problem we have time. Dropped truck off at 9:45 to have work performed. Told him I would be back at 2:30. He said it would be waiting. Arrived at 2:30 and truck was in bay with hood up. At 3:00 PM truck was still on lift and service team wass clueless. This is a fleet vehicle and find out that they have told fleet manager other work is required. So now we wait again I am assured vehicle will be ready in morning. Contact them at 9:30. Not sure will check and call back. Return to firestone only to find still working on vehicle. Finally vehicle ready 20 minutes later review bill and see battery replaced pop hood and see battery already 6 months old. Will have to pull rear tire because they forgot inner marker. Will do more detailed inspection Bottom line stay away. They add work especially for fleet vehicles. Are not respectful of customers. Timely easy is unheard of. read more

We were at Firestone this morning and they charged us 146 dollars for a diagnostic that took 6 minutes, removing a leaf from air intake, and replacing the air filter. I'm glad they fixed my car, but disappointed that they think it's fair to charge a hefty labor/diagnostic fee for something that took them ten minutes. read more

I took my car up there on a Thursday to get tired fixed, it had been low a few times that week, but they tried telling me it was fine by doing the soap and water test, it wasn't until i demanded to take the tire off and later they said it was the stem valve-I woke up the very next morning to a flat tire again-It took my main't man at work to find the leak and mark it for me to take it back that Saturday-I dropped the car off they called said the tired couldn't be fixed and that i needed a tire and one on the other side as well to balance it out-When i got to the shop to pick my car up i asked for my old tire back they explained it was in the recycle bin i said ok please find and call me and i will come pick up-it's been 5 days and NO call! I called them and Austin the mgr is off and Todd said he was too busy to help. I think they should give me $ back if they are not going to find my tire-We will see! read more
