This is absolutely the WORST Firestone I've ever patronized, and this location nearly cost the company my business. I sent my mom to this location with my car to get the tires balanced and rotated. On the way there, my mom and I discussed what work I needed done, and that I did NOT want an oil change because I would do it myself. I was on the phone with her when she was signing in to let her know what I wanted done to the car (I was at work). She called me at work about an hour later, nearly freaking out because they were draining the oil. I spoke to James Randall, who identified himself as the Store Manager, who insisted he went over the work order three times with my mom. I heard her in the background telling him they never discussed an oil change. I then found out they were about to put regular oil in there, when I've been using fully synthetic oil since I bought the car. Had he looked at my previous service records in his system, he would have clearly seen what type of oil I use. My mom even knew I never use regular oil. He challenged me about the last time I had it done, etc, and I got fed up. I had to contact Corporate Customer Care, who transferred me to their District Office in Houston. A quick chat with someone in the District Office and I wasn't charged for the oil change. My mom also told me that while she was waiting to check out, they allegedly slipped in some unauthorized work for the lady in front of her, because she heard the clerk remark, "Since we already did the work, I'll give you a discount." The people at this store are VERY shady. I've been doing business with Firestone since 2003, and I know very well this is not how they do business. Do yourself a favor and take your car to the Galleria Firestone. The store manager there is fantastic and they always get it right the first time. Avoid these jokers in Sugar Land. read more

After he spoke rudely to one staff member, they threw the paperwork back at him. I left. There are too many other places to choose from in this area. I had to make an unexpected stop due to vehicle problems. Staff was courteous and friendly, the store and shop were clean. My review is low because I was basically forced into replacing a rotor that did not need to be replaced. I had the tech measure the rotor - it was above factory specs, but they told me they would not honor their warranty if it was not replaced. I would never come back here again because of this and would not recommend anybody spend their money here as a result of this. read more

We've been going to this Firestone near Settler's Way and 6 for over 10 years. Over the past couple of years, we've had some experiences that are causing us to look elsewhere for a mechanic. Today, I brought my car in for a check engine light. They do a free code scan (had a coupon) and call a bit later to tell me its a code indicating the EVAP system has a leak and they'll need to do a computer diagnostic (which I find out later is not a computer diagnostic but a smoke test through the EVAP plumbing). Will be $100. Ok do it. Call me later to tell me it was a gas cap that wasn't screwed in. The first thing that should be checked when an EVAP leak error code is seen is to check the gap cap! $100 to check for a loose gas cap. Past two year experiences: My alternator needed replacement so I bring it in. They replace it and a couple of days later the car dies on the way to work. Bring it in and they fix it. The alternator cable hadn't been attached properly. One of our cars was missing a hubcap after an oil change and alignment. They couldn't find it when asked. Car was acting funny, so we brought it in to have the battery checked. They said the battery checks out fine. Two days later the battery is dead. Lots of dirty fingerprints and grime inside and outside of the car as a result of taking the car into Firestone on at least two occasions in the past year. In isolation, any one of these is forgivable. However, in aggregate, these instances are causing us to look for another mechanic. I really do wish this Firestone the best, we've been going there for 10+ years. I think it's time to move on for us. This is the absolute worst service I have ever received! I dropped my truck off at 2pm for three simple things" tire rotation,balance and front end alignment"they told me truck would be done at 4pm i got there at 5:30 to pick it up and noticed The rotation was not done. They told me they would take care of it. It's 7pm and they still have not rotated my tires! I'm more than upset about this. I would not take my worst enemy car here!!! read more

If you just need a quick oil change, this place is ok. They have competitive pricing for oil changes. I usually drop it off before work and pick up after anyways because I have had long waits. I've sat in the office and watched my car sit untouched as people stand around and talked. I'm not their boss, so it didn't bother me, but at least work and talk at the same time. right? They seriously up-charge EVERY other service. Most mechanics I've been to charge a minimal fee to run diagnostics. (If it's not free) Firestone charges over $100 for them to hook your car up to the computer and push some buttons. $100! Now to fix said problems that diagnostics find will always be in the thousands. They once quoted me $250 to change a headlight. I went on YouTube and learned how to change it myself. My husband's car blew a spark plug and they quoted him $6000 to fix that block of the engine. That was worth more than the car itself! We took it to another mechanic who was able to fix it for just over $500. Shop around! Find people who are genuinely interested in cars and in your customer satisfaction. These people aren't it. Its just plug and chug for them. Last complaint, my car has a panel that protects the under part of my engine. It's like my car's underwear. When I took my car to get the oil changed, they removed that panel and NEVER returned it. I now have a naked car that is more susceptible to damage. When I asked them about it everyone pretended like they knew nothing about it. No answers were given. They claimed there was no panel on my car. Yes sir, there was.. there was when I brought it in, there wasn't when I left. I can do math. All signs point to them not returning my car to its original condition. THIS is what makes this place completely unacceptable to me. What if that was a more important piece of my car they just forgot to put back in? No thank you. read more

Easy to get to from Hwy 6. I had a lot of wear in my new tires so I called Bridgestone and they sent me here. I got there about 9:15 but there were about 7 people waiting before me. The store manager helped me right away and contacted Bridgestone to see if they would work with me for new tires because there is no mileage warranty on new car tires. They gave me a great price and lifetime balance for my truck was only $200. I know I can be a bad driver and hit curbs so I need that. It was not fast but I had a lot of people in front of me and I had a lot of work done. They did a great job for a great price. read more

Dropped off my Jeep for an oil change at 9:30am and was told it will be 2-4hrs. Called @2pm and was told it will be ready in 45 mins but to come after 3pm. Arrived at 3:10 and was told it will be 30 mins because they just pulled it in. Told the same guy that I dropped it off with the that I was told it would be 2-4 hrs when dropped off at 9:30 am and even called at 2 and was told to come after 3 and all he said was yeah but it will be 30 mins, do you want to wait...no apologies. It's great to know my Jeep gets bumped since I was not physically there waiting. Should not take that long to fit me in when I arrived at 9:30 am!!! Paid for a tire balance and rotation. All they wanted to do was sell me a new set of tires. Had to argue to get what I asked them to do. Finally they agreed reluctantly, upon further inspection I realized they had never done a rotation or a balance. Do not trust this location with your car or money! read more

Is there a rating less than 1 Star? This Firestone station does not even deserve one star. It is in highway 6...perfect for highway robbery. My dad brought his car in there and after 4-5 hours he was billed $2050 dollars. They will replace everything that they can replace. How can these people do this to old people? They are out to make money I get that but to take advantage of people...Sugarland wake up...you don't need this! Better yet...FIRESTONE corporate office wake up...check your your outlets and the people that work for you. These are the people that are suppose to represent you, your business and your brand...they are far worse than people who take advantage of other people's weaknesses and helplessness! 4 1/2 hours for oil change & tire rotation, they were not able to fix a truck tire with a nail in it, instead they suggested I buy a new tire. I did not and will pull and plug the nail when I get home. read more

I take a drive to go to this firestone just because of the service. Have always been treated nice and the work gets done in a timely manner with my car. The employees have always been helpful and the store Manger is the best I've seen around. I highly recommend first colony firestone. read more

I bought two front tires here in August 2016 and by March 2017 they were worn. They refused to change them because I had not been back every 5,000 miles to rotate them. They were also wrong about my brakes! Customer service was awful! read more

My mom took her MBW into this location and it couldn't had been a worst experience. Her car was having some trouble and I figured that she needed a new battery since it was nine years old. It turns out that I was right, but they still tried to intimidate her in buying a diagnostic first, which was an extra $100. I said no, it's the battery and they shut up. I also told them to delete my old number and just call her. They did not delete my old number and instead called my old number. No wonder we never received any calls from them. All of that is bad, but what's worst is that they broke the latch in the back of the truck. I know the trunk latch was not broken before we dropped the car off and it had to be them because they had to open the trunk to replace the battery. Furthermore, they refused to take responsibility for their negligence. The bottom line is that this place is a joke and don't give them your time or money. They will just try to rip you off if they suspect you don't know much about cars like my mom. read more

Make sure you take everything out of your car before you leave it with them. I had a wallet in the glove compartment that only had grocery coupons in it. That is why I left it in the car. When I went to the store the next day, I opened the glove compartment to get the wallet and it was GONE! I would have loved to have seen the crook's face when he opened the wallet and found only grocery coupons! read more

They used to be good and I used to count on them for all my cars but in recent experience they were trying to rip me off. Not sure if they got some bad mechanics or change in ownership. Went for oil change, came back with steering making noises when turning. Took it back, instead of doing courtesy check, they made me pay about $90 for diagnostics. After diagnostics, gave me $1200 estimate for rack and pinion. Didn't believe them, came back home and try to check things myself. checked my power steering fluid, apparently they completely drained it when doing oil change. Can't believe their mechanics didn't check that when I brought it back or they did but wanted to charge me $1200 to fix $2 problem. Problem was fixed after I added $2 power steering fluid. Writing this review more than six months afterward, just wanted to make sure problem didn't come back....no issues so far but don't have any reliable place to take my cars for maintenance :(. read more
