He took the request as talking face-to-face as a threat. I saw the fact that he didn't want to talk to a customer face-to-face as a bigger issue any original complaint. He believed that I was upset so he felt necessary to contact my mother to, in his words "bridge the gap". Here is another issue that was bigger than the original. If a customer and a business has an issue, the customer's family members shouldn't be a part of it. Today I came in to talk to Jerome to voice my complaints and instead of listening to the customer, he tried to justify his actions. Instead of hearing me out, he attempted to downplay my concerns by cutting me off mid statement. I tried to remind him a few times that I have a complaint as a customer Jerome interrupts with justifications to 1/2 statements . I admittedly interrupted him when I wasn't being heard. He injected that he suspects its a race issue. I don't see this as a race issue. I have a customer complaint issue that turned into three and I'm still not being heard. I tapped on the table to emphasize a point and seemingly he saw that as a threat or intimidation so he hit the table extremely hard a few times seemingly out of fear or anger. So after 15 minutes of me not giving into his narrative, Jerome showered frustrating love upon me as a Christian brother. And then he kicked me out. I told him that he wasn't Christlike. He may be a Christian, but not Christlike. I gave Jerome an opportunity of earn a loyal customer and he failed miserably. The rest of your crew is awesome. I can say that with no equivocation. I especially like to single out Kevin. His customer service instinct are awesome. If he teaches as well as he performs, he should lead a customer serviceworkshop at Christian Brothers. Then they charged me $12,000 for front struts and rear air bag replacements--only for me to bring the vehicle back because the front strut wasn't installed correctly. They claimed they were "under new management" and would "make it right," but nothing was ever fixed properly. They also insisted my spark plugs needed replacement. Supposedly they did the job, but the moment I picked up the vehicle it was ticking, running rough, and performing worse than before. They kept the car again and told me it was "good to go." It wasn't. The Escalade broke down on Saturday. I had it towed to Firestone, who immediately found an exhaust leak causing the ticking noise--and worse, they showed me the spark plugs that this shop installed. They were stripped. To make things even shadier, this place doesn't provide proper paperwork for the work they claim to perform. Between the sloppy repairs, the outrageous charges, and the lack of documentation, this shop is absolutely untrustworthy. I also contacted the corporate office and received no response. Save yourself the headache and consider bypassing this business. It seems their focus is on taking your money rather than properly completing repairs. No Customer Service.

I came in for a simple oil change, got pressured over and over to do a transmission flush, and it destroyed my car. My transmission was jerking, grinding, and my check-engine light came on. The dealership confirmed the fluid was burnt with metal debris, and now I'm facing a $12,886 repair. When I called to get help, the so-called investigator Stephen spoke rudely, took no accountability, and pretty much hung up in my face--even with a corporate rep on the line! They denied my claim without any written proof, only excuses. THE SERVICE WAS NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE PERFORMED ON MY TYOE OF TRANSMISSION ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP! I'm beyond disappointed and furious. If you value your vehicle, your money, and your peace of mind, do NOT trust these people. They're not accountable, they're unprofessional, and they clearly don't care about their customers. At this time, Valvoline has denied responsibility for the transmission failure that occurred immediately after your location performed a transmission flush on my vehicle, despite dealership documentation confirming internal transmission damage consistent with service failure. I have already provided all details to your claims team, and I have formally filed complaints with both the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. I have also retained documentation including dealership findings, service invoice, and a recorded call (with consent) in which the claim was denied without written investigation results being provided. I am still without a vehicle, unable to work normally, and experiencing significant hardship as a result of this service. Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!
