Conveniently located next to the mall and a number of restaurants/shops across the street to keep busy. Usually I wind up spending more money looking around than on the actual car service...oh the temptation at the mall! Prices are reasonable and usually you can find online coupon to apply toward oil changes. Last time I went for an oil change & diagnostic for my hybrid. While they couldn't help fix the failing hybrid battery (dealership only type of work) they did research & advised that it was still under warranty and could be replaced for free at the dealership. Like all the other reviews say, this place will literally rip you off and you'll be waiting for a long period of time for your car to be fixed. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 am just to get my breaks fixed and have been waiting for so long just for them to get done and fixed. I am a uber and lyft driver and never have wasted so much time in my life. So if you're a uber driver and want to be back on the road much sooner than waiting almost the whole day, this place is not for you. There are probably other places near by that'll get your car done much more efficient and quicker and probably a bit cheaper. read more

I don't go here for anything else but the lifetime alignment. Totally worth it in my eyes. Robert, the service associate, was totally cool when I went in today. I asked how long is the wait to inspect my alignment, and he replied that it will take about 2.5-3 hours because of the customers that arrived prior to me. But he offered to check if there are any appointments are available. Lucky me, he had an appointment at 2pm, 4-hours later. That worked perfect with my schedule. I went to take care of stuff and came back at 1:40pm. I went to the mall and 40-minutes later, as I started to eat my lunch, I get the call that my car was done! I've been going to firestone stores every time I needed tires. Around this area, there are several tire stores. This gives you walking distance to walk to each different tire store to investigate what deals are currently being offered. Went I walked in to firestone i straight up asked what promotions are going on. They showed me the prices and discounts and gave me all my possibilities to save money. Pressed for buying new tires and given a wide variety of options I decided to purchase tires here. Within 1 hr 1/2 the service was completed and i was out to go. Luckily there's a mall behind this place to kill time. Overall I highly recommend people to this place. When going to any mechanic place, one should have the balls to say no to full inspections and being offered other services. I believe everyone should have a mechanic and should know the condition of their vehicle so that way "they don't get ripped off." read more

This will be my 2nd time going to this location.. Got my lifetime Tire rotation and my Alignment. You would think after they go on a test drive the technician will notice its pulling to the side and inform the sales person he needs to work on to get it Fix properly. WRONG! They hand over my keys and send me home. Yes, had to take it back so they could do the Job right. Thus 2nd time around I took it to the one in the city of Walnut. They informed me I had a damaged tire that needs to be replaced. They didn't have my size but the one in W.Covina did. They replaced my tire and asked if they r going to do the alignment again. Mind you I am no mechanic, David said "it's not necessary it should be find." Any problems bring it back. Guess what. Alignment off! Pulling to the Left. Not taking there anymore! Worst day ever!!! Got there at 10:30 am Didn't check my car until 4 pm Diagnosed and bad water pump $800 Benjamin's did I pay that hell no. Called Toyota dealer boom they did it for half the price. Firestones customer service lied about the hours of labor and the price of the water pump. I would rate this place lower but there's nothing less than 1 star. The best customer service of any automobile repair shop Period!!! You need not look any further, if your looking for honesty, reliability, excellent communication, and great customer Service. Bryce was the rep who was helping me out with my car as I brought it in for a wheel alignment. Bryce encouraged me to get the $20 diagnostic check. I agreed. I dropped my car off bc they were pretty slammed on a Saturday. He called me later on to let me know of the findings and explained to me in great detail all the things wrong with my car and the things that needed to get fixed before the wheel alignment can be done. They are a little more expensive but I know I'm getting quality and guaranteed work, and the trade off is worth it. read more

This place is truly amazing! Talk about service recovery. Eric is a really great guy. I had some issues with my car and I had no idea it would cost so much, but they did a great job and the price pint was actually lower than what my dealership would have charge. The GM gave a discount and help me out with my other car. I happen to get a flat tire today and they called me back to say they didn't have the tire, but then made some calls and found a tire for my Toyota iA! They really go above and beyond for their customers and as a Local here in West Covina, I continue to come here for all my car service after my Toyota Care Package has ran out. I came into this Firestone to do my yearly car inspection for uber, as it is one of very few places that does this in the area. I had called earlier in the week, at maybe noon or 1pm on a monday, and the person who answered the phone said it was going to be a 2-3 hour wait, so I was dreading coming in. When I finally came in a few days later at around 3 or 4 pm, I was impressed with the experience I ended up having here. My car ended up failing the inspection because of issues with my tires. When they told me that, my stomach sank and I immediately became extremely stressed out. He was explaining numbers to me and I wasn't even hearing it, I was just thinking I can't afford any of this... So I declined and told them I can't afford it right now. Richard, who was working in customer service, started talking to me about their in-house financing and how we could check for approval in less than 5 minutes. So we did, and I got approved for a 6 month interest free credit program with no money down, and he said they could switch out my tires and fix the alignment in about an hour, so I went with it. It took maybe an hour and a half, but I am so relieved that Firestone was able to not only get me passed for my uber inspection but help me get my car back to safety without having to cough up a chunk of money on the spot. In fact, I paid nothing on the spot. They took me from stressed to relieved in a short matter of time. Richard was so helpful and he is great at what he does! read more

He is straight with me without giving me any BS. I have been purchasing my run flat tires here for the last few years, and just purchased four run flat tires a month or so ago. I needed a new set of tires ASAP. I called and spoke with the manager. He was able to find me a newer style of run flat tires that would last more miles than the ones I normally get, and for less that I would normally pay. Since I was going out of town, I needed the tires the next day, and wouldn't be able to drop off my car until 5pm. He arranged for the tires to be delivered to the shop, and told me backing my car there at 5pm would not be a problem. I dropped the car off the next day, had dinner across the street, and my the time I was back from dinner my car was done. I couldn't be more happier with their service, and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you to the manager and the team for getting the job done! You guys are awesome! read more

What can I say about Firestone? All I can say is that thanks to Jorge A. (I think that's his last initial) I didn't lose my sanity yesterday, 11/03/2013, and I got my car back in under an hour! I was a loyal Pep Boys customer for almost two years but after an uncomfortable run in yesterday with someone who works there I decided to take my car to Firestone. Jorge A. assisted me with a smile and he was polite and courteous. I needed a simple oil change and he promised it would be ready within the hour. He did better than his promise and it was ready in about 45-minutes. Seriously, super awesome customer service and Jorge A. is the man! My dad comes to this Firestone often and has been attended by Chris multiple times and he has good things to say as well. Got the car care package which includes tire rotation. I had a leak on my front right tires before taking it there to see if they really do some of the services. A few weeks later, my leak was still in the front right tire. So no tire rotation done. Nothing else they do is credible to me anymore :) read more

Took my truck in for a oil change and tire rotation apt for 2:30pm I dropped my truck off at 1:20 got back from the gym at 4:20 my truck was still in the shop I was ready to go so I asked if it was almost ready and he said they just started the oil change so I told him don't worry about the rotation so he finally calls me at 5:15 come to find out no one got to it because it does not pay much I'll never get an oil change here again. read more

I took my car in for replacing the rear tires on Jan-13-2018. They severely scratched up my rear tire rims. I opened a case with them shortly after. They kept delaying the process until I threatened to involve my insurance company. They were quick to send one of their insurance adjusters out Mar-02-2018 and he said that it was curb damage. How can there be consistent curb damage around the entire rim while other wheels have very minor scratches? The name of the Claim specialist is *******. Sure enough, they denied the claim. I requested an appeal and they said that I could hire my own investigator and then maybe they would repair the damage. Ridiculous. These bridgestone/firestone people are frauds. I love this place!! Everyone has helped me a lot and made my experience great. I came here after I went to another Firestone and they misdiagnosed my car. The guys here helped me out, fixed my car for free, and did it all with a smile on their face. I'm going to start coming here for all of my car needs. I waited there for 2 hours to have a tire put on and they had never even started on my vehicle. When I demanded my keys they told me that the technician was going to jump on it right then and there. The people do not seem to be very well trained there. It's unfortunate because Firestone is a good product. If you have two to three hours to wait take your car there. So Jesse did follow up with me and offered to make it right by setting me up with a free tire! So I did take him up on his offer. This place is so poorly run , I will never come back ! I was looking forward to coming here because I came in and saw a female manager! In this industry which is dominated by males and females often get taken advantage of , I thought that would work in my favor! Oh hell no! Jodi is the worst customer service rep I've ever seen !! She's rude. She's unfriendly She's unprofessional and she is the only reason I would not get my car serviced here!! She was so rude and unfriendly when she was checking me in that I actually said forget it and left. If Firestone is going to hire people like that, I will never come back again! If she is going to stay employed by Firestone she needs to be kept in the back away from all customers. Don't trust these people with your car I took my Avalanche and they told me I needed a new battery and my AC wasn't working because it need a new filter all this was not true my battery is still good my filter I just changed and they took the cap off of the AC so it could spill out and I would think that I would have to go buy a new filter and a new battery these people are scam artists if they think you don't know better they'll get you.... read more

Came to pick up my husband car which we dropped off early this morning. They said it would be ready at 2:30 pm. So I show up at 2:40 pm. Well Jose called my husband phone at 11:30 am because he had a questions for him. Didn't get a hold of hubby, so I told him we would bring the car back for more testing next week. Ok, so Jose would close out and bring me the bill. He got distracted with other customers and the next thing I see him with his salad and walking out the door. Dude, I do understand that you have to eat, but take care of your customer before you take your lunch. I had to stand back in line and asked John what is happening with my car. He went to the back to get my paper work and it wasn't there. He found it on the front counter just laying there. Now John is looking at the paper work and tells me that the wheel aligment hasn't been done. It would take another 15 minutes. I knew it would take longer than that. So my total wait time was an additional 2 hours. I am so disappointed at their service this time and this is my go to place for oil change, wheel aligment, etc. Management I hope you are reading this. I have 4 cars I bring to this place. I bought new tires including the LIFETIME road hazard warranty. Returned yesterday to be told LIFETIME to firestone is 7yrs and they would not repair my tire. It had 50% ware and very little cracking, but that did not matter, they would not repair it. Of course they offered to sell me 4 new tries at a discounted (prorated) price. The warranty book I received from them states tires should be inspected at 5 & then 10 yrs. for safety, clearly they can repair one that's 7yrs old that's still in good shape. I called the corporate number, but they claim the warranty is sold by the retail stored and not them. Do not buy any of their warranty's they don't stand behind them. I had my tires and alignment done at another Firestone in Northern California. But after about 8 months I noticed uneven wear on my tires. But since then I moved back to SoCal so I went to this station to have them check it out. The alignment is under warranty. So I went the the first time they looked at it briefly and told me to come back early tomorrow morning. I went back before 9 am the next day and they had me waited until 11am before they raised my car to be inspected. Then they said the alignment is off but they won't do it unless I get new tires from them and they made up a phony story that my brakes are bad too and I needed to replace my rotors and pads. I waited at a shop across the street until 12:30pm and nothing was done and they are trying to rip me off for over $2 grand. I lost an entire morning to a bunch of thieves. I later went to another shop and they just replaced the brake pads and said the rotors are fine. Don't go to shops like Firestone because they are not honest people and don't honor warranty. They will try to sell you things you don't need. It sickens me to see stores like this. read more

I dropped by to have a flat tire fixed and have my tires rotated too, after waiting for 2 hours they were done. I have this habit of making an inspection of my car before driving away and I noticed that they put the tire that was flat flipped around. The white letters were outside instead of inside like the other 3 tires. No care for attention to detail and they just want the job done. It was still early in the morning so the technician wasn'tt even really tired yet. I would've understood if it was near closing time. The customer service was good though and they found another tire with a nail in it which they also repaired. read more
