Avoid Firestone in Weston - Poor Customer Service & No Accountability I recently spent over $2,000 replacing the tires on my truck at Firestone in Weston. Fast forward three months later, and I got a puncture in one of them. To get myself to the shop, I used some Fix-a-Flat. Since I was already there, I also requested an oil change and alignment. When I returned to pick up my truck, I was shocked to be told that they couldn't patch the tire because I had used tire sealant. Their only "solution"? Charging me over $400 for a brand-new tire! No other options, no attempt to help - just a full-price replacement. Frustrated, I paid for the services performed and took my truck to a competing tire shop in nearby, where they had no problem patching the tire--even with the sealant. To make matters worse, even though I purchased the tires from Firestone, they now claim there's no warranty because I didn't buy a Firestone-branded tire. This was never mentioned when I originally purchased them. In fact, they assured me that getting the same brand I already had wouldn't be an issue. This experience was a complete disappointment. They don't stand behind what they sell, fail to inform customers about important warranty details, and are more interested in squeezing money out of you than actually providing good service. Not a fan of this location. The service advisors lie to unknowing customers to upsell them on repairs or maintenance they don't need. I had them replace 4 tires and do an alignment. Even with an appointment it took them several hours. they returned my vehicle to me with severe curb rash that they covered up with black marker. As soon as i washed my car all of the damage was easily visible. Lifted my car by the floor pan instead of jack points and damaged the bottom of the car. Avoid at all costs. Sold me lifetime alignment and two new front tires... 6 times within a year and a half. Everytime i would get an alignment my car wouldn't drive straight and they'd complete the alignment within 20-30 mins. went through so many sets of tires at 350-450$ per tire before going to another shop and asking them to check the alignment Firestone was doing... they never touched my control arms or the camber, just the toe. They'd make my car barely stay in its lane but still shred my tires so i would have to come back and shop. Please avoid this store, Raul the manager, and everyone who works here at all costs. Went to get rotation and alignment. Specifically requested printout of the pre and post alignment. They did tell me the printer isn't working but they'd take a photo for me. They did not save the info and didn't take the pictures. They also ordered 4 tires several months ago and I found out at my dealer that two tires were different....same brand but different tires in some way which is horrible for a car. The only person that does things right there is the guy I go see to put air in my tires for me every few months. He gets a tip and a cold drink. Leadership at top levels need to train staff, pay better, and fix equipment so staff take pride in their work. They also need to teach the men that women do understand cars, business and quality service. read more

I took my car to get serviced for multiple things. They called me and said the work was done. When I went to go pick it up I realized my tires were not rotated as I ask them to do. I told the guy who attended me and he insisted that it was done. Argued with me that it was done. I know my car and wheels very well. He went to ask his technician and technician said it was not on the list to do. Why argue about something that you really do not know. He then said sorry that he missed to put it on the list for technician to do. He said come back any morning to get my tires rotated that it should be really quick. I took time off to do this work today. Now I have to take more time to get this done. If I was him, if it is really quick like he says, I would have done the tire rotation right then and there so customer can leave satisfied but instead customer left upset. read more

Took my daughter's car in for the driver side car window. It stopped rolling up and down. They charged me $23.53 to diagnose. They opened the door, tested the window button and diagnosed that it needed a new window regulator. They figured this out buy testing the button for the window which was still making a working noise so that means the motor was working but the window was not going up and down so it had to be the regulator. They tell me it's going to cost me $834.75. $624.99 for the regulator, $145.00 for the labor and the remaining is supplies and tax. They told me the window regulator is so expensive because its a special ordered piece and hard to get. I left this place feeling like they were ripping me off so I went home and did my own research. I found the NEW window regulator for $100 and had it in my hands a day later. My daughter's boyfriend installed it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

BEWARE coming here! I came in for an oil change, tire replacement and wheel alignment. I praised them for their great customer service as well since I had a bad experience with the manager at the Pembroke Pines Firestone location. Once the service was complete, I left and didn't think twice although my driver door felt different/odd. The next day I noticed a paint chip on that same door. When I looked closely, I noticed the door no longer looked aligned and the underbody protection of my car had rips in it. Once I opened the door, I noticed a dent at the bottom. I went back and spoke to the manager Wellington about the damage they did to my car and he was understanding and appalled that none of the workers alerted him about this. He assured me they would pay for the damages and referenced me to their claims through Bridgestone America. Dealing with their claims company was the WORST. They would take 2-3 days to respond between every email, the lady would go on vacation and not give me a heads up while I needed her assistance because my car was in the shop. They were not sensitive to the fact that all of this was already and inconvenience for me. It took two whole weeks and a brand new door to get my car back. I've been going here for 10 years and never had a problem until Wellington and Raul took over running it. I used to experience excellent customer service and was always told the truth about what my car needed. For the past couple of years they have been completely wrong about my services and not listened to any of my issues. I told them my starter was faulty, they took my car for three days and then told me they couldn't figure it out so I had to pay to tow it to Ford-it was my starter. This should've been my last straw. I told them my headlights weren't working, they took my car for 8 hours, called me at 6pm (after I reached out multiple times during the day) that they had to order new headlights and needed to keep it over night. I took my car to Hyundai the next day it was an electrical issue. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman or if they treat all of their customers like this. I work in retail, I know how important communication is. If they would've told me that they couldn't get to my car that day I would've not given it to them. They don't value it at all. Ive given this place a few chances already, but they just don't seem to understand customer satisfaction. I came to drop off my car at 10am to change 3 tires. The clerk said it would be done by 12pm or 1pm, maybe even earlier. Cool, all is well... until I realize its 3pm and I still haven't received a call. I call them to see what's taking so long and they claim they had a damaged tire and had to get it replaced. The person said he would call me back in 25-30 minutes when it's ready. Another hour passes by and still no call. I call again and they say my car is being mounted down and to come pick it up. I come in and its the same clerk, never apologizes for the 3 hour delay and instead tries to sell me on their membership program. I go outside to get my car and its still not there... another 5 minutes pass by and the technician drives out with my car and tells me that they couldnt turn the tire reset light off because "I was in a hurry". Honestly the only reason I would ever come back is if I knew I would be doing nothing at home all day since they like to take their sweet time every time I need a repair. Don't tell customers their cars will be ready at a certain time and then not follow up if there will be delays. And dont blame the customer for not doing your job 100%... especially cause I know it doesnt take 6 hours to change 3 tires and do an alignment. read more

Our son's car broke down on Alligator Alley and was towed to this Firestone. He is a college student and we live 1,500 miles away. The timing belt was busted - not good - they spent a lot of time fixing it, but to no avail. He needed a new engine. Wellington, the manager, and Tony, the mechanic were so kind to our son. We were able to have a tow truck come to pick it up. If I lived down here, I would have this place as my go to mechanic. They went out of their way to be kind and considerate. This location is great and honest. I have been going to Firestone for years and yes they get busy and you have to wait at times for your car to get fixed. This should show how good they are. I am so very grateful for the folks at the Glades Circle (Weston) location, as my family has received top notch service for any car related care. I am particularly thankful for a gentleman by the name of Raul Gonzalez, as he was my night in shining armor yesterday evening. As I was driving home on the expressway, a plastic bucket rolled across my lane and I was unable to avoid it. The bucket was lodged under my car and I had no way of getting it out. I drove to Firestone to seek assistance. Despite being very busy, Raul took the time to help and quickly dislodged the bucket so I could drive home safely and in peace. RIP OFF ALERT - In short, they charged us for services we did not ask for, suggested services we did not require, missed obvious repairs and then there is the case of the missing engine oil! We brought our car in to the Weston location for an alignment. Brand new tires were just installed and balanced by COSTCO. This vehicle was also just serviced by our longtime trusted shop that identified a leaking CV joint. Firestone slipped in an additional fee for a complete vehicle inspection. The inspection came back with $1100.00 in suggested services. ALL of these services were already preformed by our regular mechanic and unnecessary at this time. However, Weston Firestone missed diagnosing the leaking CV Joint and somehow the next day I need to add 3 quarts of oil to a car that just had an oil change. This car has no oil leaks and I check the oil level after every oil change. Very mysterious (or not). This is a shop motivated by sales and not superior service. Avoid this place. read more

I have a 2007 Suburban, and I always brought it to the Chevy dealer for service. After having Firestone service my car, I have decided that I will never go anywhere else for repairs.
