    Meowbec is adorable!

Love this winery! It is really beautiful and the wine is great! Amazing service. Sebastian Eric and Kristin took great care of us! Love this place!

We came here for Labor Day weekend. It was not so crowded and plenty of seating outside. There's two outside patios including one that overlooks the vineyard which is beautiful. We each got their firestone tasting and the society tasting f. We both def liked the society tasting better. Our server was so cool too! Really inviting, and funny too. He made things more relaxed and fun. We loved it so much we came back the next day. The only thing they don't have food but you can bring your own stuff.

We did the Sideways self-wine tour this past weekend. The service was good, yet they really tried to push the wine club. Too much. The tasting fee is fair for what you get. I appreciate that they have water available, but while handing out aluminum cans of water reduces single use plastic bottles, it increases aluminum usage. Switching to reusables is the better option... and there is no reason why the staff can't use something reusable.

Kelly was phenomenal at her job . Any questions we had she answered. From grapes to the stock, to history . She's very knowledgeable and engaging. They have some good whites . I believe the offer more reds.

Staff - absolutly smart, kind, professional and fun loving and can I mantion amazing teamwork. We cm in right at 4pm and they were gracious enought to let us get a tasting in with a dog! Wines - dare I say I tried both flight options and between both flights I loved exactly half and would want to revisit to learn about thei wine club memberships and also purchase mine and my fiance's top favorites. Because we were considerate of their generosity in getting us in at the end of the day, I undoubtably cannot wait to come back to take our time. to learn more about thier wines! Like in America's got talent! They get 4 yesses!

Love the grounds of this winery. Very spacious and beautiful all around. The staff is friendly and attentive. The wines are delicious. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Surrounded by the beautiful vines. A must stop for us when in the area.

Such a beautiful winery! We came in recently to try out the complimentary tastings that are included in our Foley wine membership. Firestone offers a special tasting for Foley members and all of the wines are delicious! Jared poured our tastings and was so friendly. Really knowledgeable about the wines. It was easy to walk in on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and get a seat at the bar. My only recommendation would be to offer water, as we didn't have any and it would've been nice to clear our palette's between each tasting.

We were a party of 8 walk ins. Aaron greeted us with a smile - so welcoming. The drive coming up to the winery was impressive. The place is so roomy and spacious inside and out. The wine was delish and the view is gorgeous!! Aaron was beyond great I did not hesitate to become a member this place surpassed my expectations. Thank you and can't wait to be back to pick up my wines and enjoy that place and ambiance all over again!

The tasting room has outstanding views but the wine is just so-so. Go for the view, skip the tasting (unless it's free).

I love the winery. We went on the tour and had a tasting with SB tour company. I love how it wasn't crowded and the wine wasn't bad.

It was the first of five tastings we did during our weekend in town, and the wines were, admittedly, the least impressive. They went down easy, though, and we had a pleasant visit. We checked into our hotel on Friday around 5:30 and quickly realized that all the wineries on our list were closed. We asked the receptionist where we might be able to do a tasting, and she said Carhartt was our best bet. It was quite open when we walked in, almost intimidatingly so, the live music loud as we rounded the sidewalk outside the enclosed patio. Jack welcomed us into the tasting room and suggested we do a vibe check on the patio before deciding where to sit. We peeked outside and it seemed fun in a way we weren't looking for, a bit of a party atmosphere with a live band and a lot of people. We took our seats in the quieter tasting room, where we were able to enjoy the music from a distance while we drank some wine. We both did the house tasting, which came with five pours of Carhartt wines: the 2024 Top Branch, the 2022 Sin Nada, the 2022 Sangiovese, the 2022 Rebel Roan, and the 2020 Northerly. Jack also gave us a taste of the 2021 Graciano. They were all nice wines, but we particularly liked the Sin Nada, the Sangiovese, and the Graciano, and took home two bottles of each, getting one $25 tasting fee waived with each purchase of three bottles. Jack was a great host, and he told us all about the wines and winery as we went along. (He pre-empted our first question, saying that yes, they were the same Carhartts as the Carhartt clothing label, but not the same company. I guess just the classic generational wealth to winemaking pipeline.) It was a helpful introduction to both the Carhartt wines and Los Olivos, and Jack was good company. I said Carhartt was the least impressive of the wineries we visited, but it's also worth noting that it had the lowest price point. Carhartt isn't gunning for Robert Parker ratings. The wines are accessible and tasty, and I have a feeling we'll go through our bottles very fast.

We first discovered their wines at a local coffee shop back home in San Diego, so when we realized they were based in Los Olivos, we knew we had to stop on our trip. The tasting room is stylish, warm, and inviting. It has that modern, researched, intentional look I gravitate toward in wine brands. I also love that they source their grapes locally and offer light, refreshing chillable reds and natural wines. Their chillable Pinot Noir was such a pleasant surprise -- I don't usually like traditional Pinot, but this one was vibrant, fresh, and so easy to drink. I had a great conversation with the server about the wines I enjoy, how the wine industry is shifting, and the growing appeal of refreshing, bright, natural‑leaning wines. You can really feel their passion for what they do -- it comes through in the wine, the service, and the whole experience. My partner, my pup Enzo, and I had an amazing time stopping in for a glass. The setting is so calm and relaxed, and the tasting flights (incl. reserve) were outstanding--a thoughtfully curated lineup that really highlight the depth and character of their wines. Each pour offered something unique, from elegant aromatics to beautifully balanced flavors that truly reflect the region. What made the visit especially exceptional was the service. Karen, the wine curator, was always so wonderful on both occasions. From the moment we started our tasting, she made the experience feel welcoming and personalized. Karen took the time to walk us through each wine, shared great insights about the selections, and patiently answered our questions. Her enthusiasm and expertise made the tasting both informative and fun. When it came time to choose wines to take home, Karen's recommendations were spot-on and she helped guide us through the options without any pressure and provided their wonderful promotion. It's clear she genuinely cares about making sure guests leave with wines they'll love. Between the beautiful setting, excellent tasting flight, and Karen's exceptional hospitality, Zaca Mesa delivered a top-tier wine tasting experience.
