G's is no longer in this location. It is now a small mexican takeout restaurant that is very good.

Okay, so I'm not really a fan of Mediterranean food. But…read more.. The mac n cheese with bacon here is delicious! And the Greek fries? Yum! They have things my vegetarian significant other likes, too, so win-win. Add good cocktails and friendly service, and you have one of my favorite downtown Napa dining spots. Having just returned from an all-day wine tour, we decided to split an appetizer and an entree. We love lamb when it is prepared well. The Lamb Kebobs caught our eye and we went for it. And, we started with the warm hummus and pita bread. The quantity was just right for us. The hummus was very good. We have a place in Corvallis, Oregon that prepares the best hummus we've ever had in our lives, so the bar is high. Tarla's hummus was excellent with just the right amount of smokiness. The lamb kebobs were also tasty. And the roasted veggies with them were great. Nice combo of spices. Note: there are only two kebobs. We weren't massively hungry, so it was just right, but it may not be enough for you. Servers were attentive but didn't hover. A very nice experience!

Wow! Had been…read morewanting to try Levant since I heard they had opened. I love Mediterranean food, and was excited about a restaurant that offered more than just take out falafel and shawarma. We met some friends from Petaluma for dinner. It was nice to have a table of four because it meant we go to try more! They were open to family style, so that worked out great. We started with a nice bottle of Lebanese wine, and the a Mezza plate that included baba ghanouj, hummus, labneh and muhumarra. We also ordered some falafel for good measure. Everything was super fresh tasting and delicious. The muhumara was probably the show stopper though - it was fantastic. For the second round, we ordered Nabulsi (salty cheese on flatbread), Kufta (amazing!), semac shawarma (seabass), maglouba (veggie rice) and the Sayadieh (salmon and seabass rice). Everything was delicious, super fresh, and tasty! We enjoyed every bite. We ended with baklawa o buza (baklava w/ ice cream) and Turkish coffee that was also excellent! Overall a fantastic meal! I'm so glad our friends were excited about - it was a great tour of their menu - and I'm already looking forward to when I can go back! Sorry for the lack of photos - but I didn't want to distract from the meal with our friends - I promise to add more after the next visit!

As the name says "Spread" it was truly a great menu! Our cousin ordered the dip platter and raved about the different delicious dips. My favorite here was the beet dip. Trust me all the kids ate everything without a fuss. If you can see the picture of the melon salad it says it all! I have never imagined a cantaloupe would fit in this style of a dish. Outstanding flavors so well balanced. Don't miss it if you find it coz it's seasonal! The entree's I ordered a wrap and shared it. The portion sizes were a bit huge for me so I decided to share and glad I did! Excellent flavors of the lamb and the filling inside the wrap was delicious! Ended on a sweet tooth, the baklava was truly homemade the first bite said it all! Melt in the mouth. Loved the outdoor seating, spacious and well placed tables. Parking was on the streets and we had no problem with that!

We started with the dip plate and tried five of the dips. They were all extremely good but my favorites were the whipped feta and the roasted red pepper one. I also ordered the chicken lavash wrap and it was super moist and delicious. My group also ordered the lamb, falafel, and beef wraps but I would say the chicken tasted the best. Highly recommend this spot if you are in Sonoma!

Most recently, we dropped in before going to a show at the Ivy Room (another favorite). We got there early so we we could enjoy a leisurely meal. We were e seated in the bar, which worked well as we had great service and I personally like the higher bar tables. We tried the mezzo plate, kofta, a fantastic halumi salad, and the phyllo chicken pie. Everything we had was delicious! Cocktails and wine options were also outstanding. We finished with halva topped scoop of ice cream and delightful coffee! Great spot? Great food! Great service! We love this place!

The fresh-squeezed mint lemonade was really good, especially for $5. The Arabian Nights cocktail was just okay, so I'd skip the alcohol next time. Of the four entrees we tried, the Maklouba (lamb) was the favorite overall. I personally loved the chicken kabob. The chicken couscous was also very good. The Samakeh (fish) was our least favorite--pretty bland and not very memorable. One thing I noticed was that the carb-to-protein portion felt a bit heavy. We had at least 1/3 of the rice/couscous left over, while all the protein was gone. Overall, a solid meal. I'd definitely come back for the Maklouba and chicken kabob!
