I would give First Class 6 stars if It allowed. I had a mishap running over a curb with a VW beetle and the plastic part of the bumper popped off and came askew. I had messaged First Class and they were the first to reply, within 30 minutes, and I brought it in the next morning. They had quoted me $40 (a great price), but after fiddling with it for 10 minutes, he was able to get it back no problem - Just like new. They even waived the fee. I've been a car enthusiast for the past 35 years and have a keen eye for details. I also have been a science teacher for 24 years and met and interacted with a lot of different people. If you're looking for a short and quick review, let me just say that these are the best I've ever met and worked with. Both personally and professionally. If you're interested in more details, I ran over a big rock on a windy road on a rainy morning, in a few year old Mercedes E 400. Tore up parts of the exhaust system and caused some body damage. Oscar and his crew / family dealt with the insurance company, got me brand new OEM parts and restored the underside to perfection. Their body work skills are also impeccable! They not only made the dented part like new, they also matched the color absolutely perfectly using one of the best brands of paint--my cousin is an auto-body paint distributor and I ran the brand of the paint by him. They even matched the orange-peel of the paint so perfectly that it's impossible to tell that it's been repainted. In addition to their outstanding workmanship, all the people who work at the facility and very polite, considerate, and are a pleasure to work with. I noticed them working on some vintage cars and restoring them to show room condition. First Class has always treated me right. Anyone who knows me knows that I am very particular and super anal regarding any work done to my Nissan GTR. First time I went to First Class, I spoke to Oscar and expressed my concern regarding work a previous body shop did. He assured me that they would go over the car completely and make things right. 1 week later I get a call telling me my car is ready. I get to the shop and they tell me that they are finishing up ( wash / vacuum ) and if I wanted some coffee / water. Got my coffee and about 5 min later, they bring my car up and I did the usual walk around inspecting the work. They nailed everything that asked for perfectly. Couldnt ask for better job. Since then, I have taken my car back 2 more times getting other body pieces painted to match and carbon fiber UV sprayed. Thanks again Oscar, Daniel and Laura for the great service. My girlfriend and I just picked up her car from this shop, and noticed that the gas indicator was actually well *below* empty a few minutes after driving off the lot. We're lucky it didn't stop in the road before we reached a gas station. When I called to complain, the guy who answered the phone said it's actually her fault for bringing it in with a low tank before they used it up moving the car about the shop, and said, I quote, "It is what it is." EDIT: The shop owner called and was very apologetic, apparently the guy I spoke to has been rude to customers in the past and hadn't followed shop policy on low tanks (tell the customer, ask if they want some added before they pick it up) and was let go. I feel bad about that, but it was nice to see that the owner really cares about keeping a decent business even if he has to make a tough call. I really appreciated that he took the time to call up and let us know that he heard about it, cared, and fixed it. read more

Ever since I moved to the South Bay after I got married, I had been looking for a good, reliable mechanic to take care of the maintenance of my car (164,000 miles, 7 years old!) since I don't plan on buying another car for at least another 5 years. I am so happy that I found out about First Class Auto Body! When I first got there, the first thing I noticed was how immaculate the garage was. Having previously worked for a Sears Auto--which sees up to two dozen cars in a day--I know how dirty garages can get. And it was spotless!! What's more surprising was that the entire garage was filled with cars and yet the floor was clean. That, to me, is a good sign that they care about the garage and the cars that are going to be placed inside of them. I had to get an oil change, and halfway through Oscar (the manager) told me that my air filters had to be changed because they were almost black. He told me that my air quality would improve after I got them changed out, and three days later I can confirm that my air does indeed smell a lot better inside of my car. I loved the service here. They are very quick, professional, and open on Saturdays (which was why my previous search for mechanics was so difficult). I actually feel like Oscar really does care about my car and my drive and understands why I needed to find a good mechanic for a car as old as mine. I took my car into First Class Auto Body to fix a messed up door and front fender. Meeting Oscar at the nicely maintained body shop, he carefully explained the whole process of turning my car in, filing the claim with the insurance company, and every step after that leading up to getting my car back after getting it fixed. I hardly had to do anything since they even helped me with my insurance company. You can't beat that! Anyways, I few days later, I get my car back and lemme tell ya... my 10 year old car looked like it was brand new! Heck, I was thinking about selling the car this year, but the car looks so good now that I think I'm gonna keep it for a couple more years! GREAT PRICE & EXCELLENT SERVICE I brought in my BMW 328i due to the automated door locks not working. They were very professional and explained to me exactly how they were going to diagnos the problem. Customer service was excellent; they went out their way to make sure I was comfortable while waiting - offered capacino and wii fi. I was very pleased to get my car back within the same day. I've had a few accidents in my 17 years of driving. FCAB is close to my house and they are my go to body shop for repairs. Oscar actually remembered me the last time I went in for an estimate even though it had been over two years! FCAB is thorough and efficient. When I picked up my car this past May, not only did they fix the bumper so that it looked brand new, they washed my whole car including the wheels, vacuumed the inside, and cleaned the interior. I was so impressed and a little embarrassed (I had shoes, socks, and clothes on the back seat and tossed in the trunk). I called the next day to thank them for doing such a great job. If I ever get into another collision *knock on wood* I would go back in a heartbeat to this place to get my car fixed. I whole heartedly recommend "First Class Auto body" for any and all auto body repair work in the Southbay and beyond. All of my experiences with them have been exceptional (going back 5+ years). This is a family owned and operated shop run by 3 brothers and their father. I've dealt with most of the family, but my go to is Oscar. You're probably wondering why it took so long to write a review. Reasoning, because I've been telling everyone and anyone who needs / potentially needs auto body work to go to them and thought I had a review covered (sorry guys). My first experience with them was after my 4Runner got rear ended on the freeway and shortly afterwards getting front ended when another car backed up into me (coincidently down the street from First Class Auto body). After going to a couple of places recommended by my insurance company I decided to check out First Class Auto body. First impression, what a huge shop and it's uber clean. I met Oscar and explained to him my situation and asked why I should use First Class Auto body. Oscar took me on a tour of their shop and showed me the cars they were working on. I was very impressed as no other shop I went to did this. Basically, I got the feeling that Oscar showed pride in his shop and work. I dropped off my 4Runner at First Class Auto Body and they did the rest; worked with the insurance company, completed the repairs, and threw in a couple of extras. I went by the shop on the way home from work to check on the progress and Oscar gave me the details on what was being done and what needed to be done. All in all, when it was completed my 4Runner looked like new. Oscar also told me they replaced the rear mud flaps at no extra charge, pleasantly surprised and impressed!! I took my 4Runner to them for a small dent when it was hit in a parking lot. Oscar came out and greeted me by name which I was surprised by because it had been at least a year since I was there last. I told Oscar the details and he gave me some options. I went with the least amount of work / cost. They were able to pop out the dent, but there were some minor scratch marks which I could live with after a little DIY touch up paint (after all, it is a truck). Less than a month ago, I took my RX to First Class Auto Body after it got swiped in a parking lot (yes, I have the worst luck in parking lots). There was a scratch from the rear passenger bumper to the front passenger wheel well area (some areas were deep enough to catch my fingernail). I was really pissed about this since the car was barely 6 months old. Went in there, Oscar was there, and greeted me by name again (amazing it's been at least a few years). Oscar looked at it and gave me a few options. Again I went with the least amount of work / cost. Dropped the RX in the morning and by the afternoon got a call that it was ready. I went by after work to pick it up. Absolutely amazing!! I swear it looks brand new, couldn't even tell there was any damage. Oscar told me they were able to buff and polish out the scratch. This is an absolutely great shop run by an honest family that does amazing work and also has great work ethics. Look, nobody wants to be on a first name basis with the owner of a body shop, but if you're unlucky with cars you need to have these guys fix your ride. In roughly 2008 Oscar and the Caruso family business did a perfect job on my Acura RSX. I had hit a traffic cone (of all things) in the middle lane, 405N, which obliterated the front of my car. Radiator and bumper needed to be replaced. All the work they did looked great, and performed flawlessly, up to (and I'm sure well past) when I sold that car in 2013. And they just fixed my wife's 2009 328 coupe. The front bumper was nearly ripped completely off by someone in a parking lot (wife wasn't even in the car). Bumper, fender, hood, and headlight housing had to be replaced. Oscar's guys got all the work done in 1.5 weeks, and the car seriously looks as good as the day it rolled off the assembly line. This place is spectacular. Decided to take my car to First Class Auto Body because it was an insurance recommended repair facility and wasn't expecting the high level of service I received by any means given past experiences with other repair shops. They arranged a tow truck to come and pick my car up and after we arrived at the facility; I spent no more than 5 minutes there until I was on my way. I was always updated with the status of my repairs which gave me significant peace of mind. The car looked better than it did when I had purchased it brand new. The craftsmanship was spectacular and the customer service was unmatched. Hopefully I won't be back at the repair shop anytime soon but I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs their vehicle repaired. I ripped part of my bumper off on a high curve. I called the customer service number and a lady quickly answered the call and took my details. Understandably, she asked me to bring it in for an accurate estimate. I did and Oscar, the owner himself, greeted me and explained the whole process and the time it was going to take, making sure that I understood it all. I placed the order for the replacement part which came in a few days, the customer service lady quickly gave me a call letting me know the part was ready to be installed and the time it would take to install it. I brought the car in the next day and it felt like my car was quickly taken care of and i was on my way continuing with my day. My car was a victim of a parked hit and run. Nothing worse than coming out in the morning to see your car hit. First class took care of it the same day and had it done in a week. 6 days before projected completion. I got updates every other day that parts were ordered, everything was on track etc. I can't recommend this family owned and operated body shop enough. You won't find better work done in Los Angeles. I've been here on 2 occasions. Haven't heard of this place prior to my insurance company's recommendations. The first time was for when my car got side swiped and I had to get my car painted as well as my drivers side mirror replaced. These guys fixed it and made it brand new. The second time was for when my car got backed up into in a parking lot. I had to get the paint done again as well as a broken door handle replaced (that wasn't part of the accident). I have taken my vehicles there for 3 years now and I wouldn't trust any other shop. They've always been upfront about costs and always gave me options. Truly a family business and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I don't usually write a bad review and this long long review but their customer service is the worst !!!!! I've never experienced this kind of service in The United states since I moved to here from Japan 15years ago not only in Auto body industry in entire customer service. I originally brought in my car in the beginning of February 2017 after I got a minor car accident. And it took almost two month to get it back and guess what their job was awful the new bumper they put was crooked with poor paint job, a emblem was missing and there are some other parts wasn't even fixed... I'm not a pro but I could tell it's crooked and something wrong. So I complained and their excuse was that they couldn't get parts right away because my car is 2017 Lincoln and it's still too new so when they received it they tried to rushed.... they didn't even called me for that two months but anybody make mistakes so I gave them a second chance. A month later I got a call from them so I took my car in for second time and explained again about missing parts and the parts wasn't fixed at the first time. They said they will take care of it. And they fixed the bumper after few weeks this time but they put back the emblem on with a lot of glue on it plus they didn't fixed the parts on top of the trunk so I told them. They said they can heat it up and fix it in minutes so I waited there and the result was they just ended up bent the part so they need reorder it. I waited for another month for them to get the part but while I'm driving for that time other parts in the trunk started falling apart and that part was broken but they try to hide it with both side tapes and sponge so it was coming off. I stop by the shop and show it to them. They told me that they need to order a part again so I waited for a month again and when I came back for the third time they found out that they ordered the wrong parts and told me that I need come back again...lol They even showed me the invoice and how long it takes to get parts from Lincoln. It said it is arriving 8/02. They laughed and blaming Lincoln causing this delay.... Hahaha Hello??? You guys should've ordered all parts that needs to be fixed at the first place and notify the customer if it's taking that long instead of blaming Lincoln. Everything could be easily done by now. It's 8/22 today and I still haven't heard anything from these guys yet.... My car isn't fixed yet but I gave up after being patience for 6 months. I can not take it anymore. You got to change the name to the worst class auto body. I will never go back and tell friends and auto repair shop who referred them. read more
