I booked roundtrip transportation through their website a day or two ahead of time. Their website is very easy to use (received confirmation immediately). Prior to both pick-ups I received an email in advance reminding me of time of pick-up. When the drivers were on-site they called to let me know that they were there and exactly where to find them. Both of the drivers were very professional, polite and helpful. They both arrived not only on-time, but a little earlier than the scheduled pick-up time. Virginia AirLink not only saved me money, but made my transportation needs easy, simple and enjoyable. It was one less thing to have to think about while traveling! The person on the phone who helped me book the tour was very friendly and kind too. My family really enjoyed our experience. Matthew was an amazing driver and guide. He was kind, funny, and knowledgeable about the stops. We really enjoyed the hidden gem stop at the end of the tour. The bus was clean and comfortable. Not my time hiring a car/limo, but first time using this company…read more The vehicle was not clean. Floors were not clean, cup holders not clean. I had requested, both verbally and in writing, that the vehicle have 4 champagne glasses and water (to be fair, I've never had to request water in a car for hire, water has always been provided). Neither were present upon pick up. (Our driver did obtain water while we were at our first drop off, which was appreciated.) Driver seemed unprepared and unsure of herself. Did not use GPS through the vehicle. Instead, used it on her phone - had verbal directions turned on which was incredibly disruptive and ruined the ambience in the vehicle. Her phone was not mounted properly so on at least two occasions, she missed turns. At our last drop off, she overshot the drop off so we walked up the block. Not a huge deal, but again, I hired a car for a reason, and the whole night missed the mark. Overall, our driver, while very nice, lacked the professionalism I am accustomed to when hiring a vehicle/limo. Honestly, I felt like I was in a mediocre Uber but paid a hired car price, which was extremely disappointing. Upon sharing my feedback with the company, an apology was offered. But I would have expected a partial refund of some sort as a reflection of the lack of service and professionalism.
