I love the pizza here. Love the crust and the amount of cheese they put on their "big cheese" pizza. SO good. What annoys me is that this place has made my pizza wrong two times. One time i noticed on the drive back home it was missing sausage like i requested. I had to go back and they made a new one for me. Another time yesterday when they opened the box for me to look at it, i said it's missing the sausage? Pretty annoying because then you have to wait there another 15-20 mins until its made again. Tried for the first time... Pizza had very little sauce. Cheese in the middle was as thick as the crust. Sausage pieces were large and on top of the pizza; they just rolled off the slice when picked up. Want a beverage while waiting? Sorry, the cooler is empty. Very disappointed with the new ownership at First Class Pizza. The customer service was extremely unprofessional. The employees were young, distracted on their phones, goofing around, and not paying attention to customers waiting to order. They messed up my pizza order by only putting pepperoni on part of the pizza instead of the whole thing like requested. Instead of remaking it, they just added more pepperoni and threw it back in the oven, leaving the pizza burnt and overly greasy. Oil was literally dripping from the box and got all over my car and clothes. When I called to ask for a refund and speak to a manager, the employees kept passing the phone back and forth pretending to be the manager. They also made me drive back and return the pizza for a return after speaking to "manager " on the phone and she still said they don't do returns as i got there . It was an argument back and forth until finally they just refunded me for the pizza . I also overheard staff talking badly about other customers while I was there. Just picked up my pizza from here, weird interaction. The two kids working the counter are a joke. I'm all for a family run business, but she's wearing pajama pants... her and the boy were dismissive and disrespectful. We ordered our pizza in person then waited in the car. They're just sitting outside joking, it's dead. Nobody has walked in. We go back check on our pizza. They look at us like "what pizza?" I don't even think it's in the oven. The young kid offered us french fries I guess for the inconvenience? we come back in 10 minutes and they're looking at me again like what do I need/want.? And they don't even give us the french fries lol. They could care less, feel bad for the owners/family who puts in the time and money to run the business. Definitely Not coming back. read more

I learned that First Class Pizza is actually a chain... there are several franchised owned carrying that name. Well we've been here to this one and the ownership has changed but the name First Class Pizza is still a good one. So at first we met Dave, then we met Phil, and today we meet Rosa, the friendly new lady boss. Stepping inside we immediately noticed a spruced up place with a fun vibe Turtle logo. The video monitors showing the extensive menu hasn't changed but Rosa did show daily specials. The lovely missus liked today's special of a medium one topping Pizza and a side of at least 8 bone in chicken wings. The Pizza with Canadian Bacon and wings with Lemon Pepper coating. Box it up and we will have a feast at home. The wait wasn't long and there was hustle and bustle activity putting stock and supplies in organized spaces. The same POS system and the receipt will be emailed. I did worry about the location and open access to a big jar with stuffed Washingtons, but I added a few more. The Pizza was delightful. Heavy on the white soft hot to touch oozing cheese (Mozzarella) and a savory good pizza bread and crust with plenty enough of the bacon on top. The wings were plumpy and perhaps could use a quick shake to discard excess deep fryer hot oil. Let's stay positive, the wings were good bites and good flavor and we didn't have to dip it in the Ranch dressing. While we waited and chit chatted, we expressed to Rosa our wish for continuing success to her First Class Pizza endeavor. I will even buy a T-Shirt with the Turtle logo the next time. read more

They give us a wrong pizza. "I never get the order wrong" was Rosa's response when she was told one of the pizzas was wrong... extremely unprofessional. We placed the order over the phone with her on speaker, and three of us clearly heard her repeat back the correct pizzas at the end. We each chose specific ones that we like from there so we would not have "accidentally" said a wrong pizza. NEVER AGAIN! I have had more issues with this pizza place since it reopened as First Class Pizza than I can believe and I'm done - never again. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. A few weeks ago, I ordered a medium zesty italian pizza among another large pizza. When I got home, it was missing the meat on it. I called and the person I spoke to said that another zesty italian, on the house, was going to be left under my name and I could just call whenever I wanted it next time - in order to make up for the mistake. Great, no problem. Mistakes happen. Today, my Husband called to order the pizza and the girl who answered the phone transferred him to the general manager, who confirmed he was calling the right place, and then told him they had no record of my name. My husband explained what had happed, the guy remember and said "oh yeah, we left the sausage off" and all seemed okay. I called back a few minutes later to add another medium pepperoni pizza to the order. The general manager said "You called to get a free pizza and now you want to add a pizza?!" I explained that I fully expected to pay for the pepperoni pizza and he added it to the order. When I go to pick it up, he goes "Now, explain to me why I'm giving you a free pizza?" I told him I was paying for the pepperoni pizza. He said "yeah, but explain to me why I should give you this free zesty?" I explained it again. Mind you, this is NOT a free pizza. I paid for it last time and it wasn't right so this is to make up for that. I already paid for this. The guy kept giving me a hard time and then is like "Oh!" And pulls a receipt from the kitchen window, "is this you? Oh yeah, this is you. Fine." I explained to him that it felt like he was accusing me of trying to pull one over on him. He told me to calm down, he'd been working for 15 days straight, he didn't "owe" me anything. He said, "I don't know if this is going to be a good yelp review or a bad one." I said I was going to sleep on it and he said "I don't care either way." So, here we are. A bad one and I'll never be back (and I ordered a fair amount from here as I live very close by). In addition to this, I've had issues in the past with their online ordering system and when I called to resolve the issue, I was told not to use that system, it doens't work very well. Why is it on your website then? I've also had issues with them knowing how to use the credit card machine and asking for cash instead. The pizza's are often running about 15 minutes behind the 45 minutes for pickup that the quote you on the phone as well. This place was great when it was George's but now, no. Save yourself the headache and don't patronize a place that treats their customers this way. I'm a small business owner too and always give places the benefit of the doubt but the fact that I'm writing this while my pizza cools because I came home so upset by this interaction should tell you something. read more

I took my family there for the first time last week. I was very impressed! The cheese was wonderful and the toppings were very generous. (I've obviously spent too much time eating cheeper name brand pizzas) I found out when we were there that the Huntington Beach location was taken over by a new family. I assume the pizza hasn't changed because ours was fantastic. The family went out of their way to make us feel welcome to the point where it made us want to support them in the future. We are so happy that this first class opened up. We have been driving to the fountain valley location consistently and this one is just down the street! Same amazing taste. Pie was cooked to perfection. Cheese was golden and crust was crisp. No complaints here! We opted for take out. There are some tables inside should you want to eat there. There were no menus online, so when we called to place our order we asked if the menu was the same as the FV location. They said yes with the exception of pasta. I order a pepperoni pizza and garlic bread sticks, I had a little wait but again, that because he was by himself in the establishment. It a very small restaurant enough for 1 table at a time.
