I had a cracked nail emergency and decided to try this place out during my lunch break. I got there at 11 and it did start to get a bit busy. I got a manicure with gel nail polish. It was a relaxing environment up until the managers daughter came in to help her with something. They had a small argument and it ruined my relaxation because of how her daughter was taking to her. Back to the manicure. My nail tech was sweet (don't know her name) and she did an okay job. I decided to wait a few days before I made a review. I got my nails done on a Wednesday and by Friday morning, the polish already started to peel. I also noticed that there were a lot of air bubbles and when they popped, made my nails feel rough. She did 3 layers with curing in between but I think 2 more layers would have made a huge difference. When trimming my cuticles, she only did surface level and not in the nail beds. The price for the gel manicure with one color was $35. Unfortunately, I will not be returning here due to the mediocre job of my nails. read more

I showed them the first picture(1) and they said that they could definitely could do it. Charged me $95 for this btw. The second picture (2) is what she actually did (not good or similar at all. Go ahead and zoom in.) and the third picture (3) is what I DID ON MYSELF once I got home because I was so disappointed. Ladies were super quick and efficient! I love when i can do a pedicure and manicure at the same time! I got their cheapest ($30) pedicure with gel polish ($15) tried SNS dip powder for the first time ($35 for 1 color + 1 sparkly nail). Pedicure was about an hour long which was unexpected but super cool! Included exfoliation and massage! Tbh i dont love the dip nails im not sure if i'll get them again. They are kind of thick on top of natural nails which gives a weird feel but also maybe it'd be better on longer nails. I had long nails when I went it with 1 shorter one and i forgot to ask for just a file and they cut all my nails down to match the shorter one :-( my fault but RIP. I do really like how shiny the dip powder is though. Overall would recommend. Efficient. Precise nail application. Cheapest pedicure gets you a massage! read more

Decided to try a new place to get a pedicure looked on Yelp found First Nail Salon. Located in an older strip mall plenty of parking a little off the beaten pass. Walked in greeted by the ladies in the salon. Very nice and friendly. Good size place not real big. Plenty of message chairs for pedicures. With a large TV to watch if you want. The chairs are newer very good message. The place is divided with the nails on one side and pedicures on the other. The pedicure was good they have different types like of pedicures like the other salons do. We stick with basic only 30 dollars. Over all was a good pedi we will try them again soon. read more

This place has kind people and is VERY clean. I had a pleasant experience while getting my nails done and the nail technician helped me choose a beautiful color! I'm giving it 2 stars because my gel didn't even last a week. I got them done on Saturday and by Christmas day, they were already starting to peel off around the edges. After a week of lounging around the house, the strain on the polish was too much I guess. The gel fell off all my nails. :( I will not be going back. read more

I happened to stop by the place one Thursday afternoon. When I came in, I was greeted by two women who worked on my pedi and mani at the same time. It was probably around 11:30. Well, that was the best time to come in because at noon, quite a few people came in during their lunch break to get their nails done. I could see why. I enjoyed my experience. The women were very nice and kept up a good conversation. The location was spacious and clean. The massage chairs were new and the nail polish selection was great. I had a gel manicure and spa pedi and they both lasted a while. It wasn't the best I'd ever had but I would definitely put it in the top experiences I've had at local nail shops. Jenny who I think is the owner did my nails, it's been more than a month and I still get compliments on my nails. She did dip powder nails for me and she also suggested a pretty shimmery white instead of the regular white I chose. Jenny took her time to do my nails, no rush job and the nails came out perfect , not thick like the other dip powder nails I've seen before. They got student discounts for kids under 18 and you'll get $5 off your fifth visit.. I'll be back soon. I tried the pedicure too. In Arlington visiting a friend and we decided to get french mani/pedis together. Well not only did they do a horrible job on my friend, but they didn't do french nails, (even after telling them it wasn't what she wanted). And when I asked them to discount the nails, they said they'd take $5 off, but then added charges, so it actually cost more. I won't recommend them to anyone. Let me first say the employees were very kind and the salon does not have an overwhelming smell from acrylics. However this is not the place to go for a gel/shellac mani. The french tip was not filled in (I could see my nail through the thin white layer of gel polish) and they started chipping in 4 days. Maybe the solid gel manis are different but I got what I paid for. read more
