My experience there was terrible! Dr Janice Owens she did not do her job after she sent the referral, and the referral came back and it said an office for over 3 months. The staff in completely filled it out and there was a section that needed to be filled out and instead of filling it out she requested that I come back into the office just to get that done. It was a certain piece of equipment that I needed to use to mobilize myself around. She did not care she knew I needed it. I called corporate to let them know what they she had done and they didn't care! She works for them but they didn't care how she was treating patients. I was referred by a non-profit organization and they were surprised when I told them what she had done. I should have read the reviews on Google before I went! I got a new doctor and everything is perfect but people need to read reviews before going to any doctor. The corporate office didn't even care about how she was treating patients. Young or a senior we're still on humans and we need to be treated with respect!! read more

So I have come here now only twice but I can tel at least MY Dr... I'm sorry I have forgotten her name; again only seen her twice... but it seems like she's concerned about the ROOT causes of my issues as opposed to just prescribing me meds. She's having myself come in in another few weeks after bettering my diet to see if things change in my blood work not just pushing pills like my last Dr wanted to do for my BARELY high bad cholesterol . I really love this clinic! I've been a patient since 2014. The entire staff is the best! I have a new Dr, Dr Janice whom I have seen twice this year and I really like her! She is super stylish too! My wait time is always under 30mins. I love that for sure! They also have a food pantry if in need of supplies. I did accept some canned cat food, which was really nice. And...they have an endless supply of condoms for free if you like. I like! So I selected a few. Thank you to the entire staff, I appreciate all your kindness and excellent care. I've seen half a dozen people walk into the office and be like "I'm here for my appointment" and then they get turned away because apparently their appointment was on a different date. There's no way that's a coincidence. The receptionist girls are truly horrible at their jobs, they can't get the smallest things right! It's happened to me and my wife on separate occasions - I'm telling you this place has a reputation for not knowing how to book appointments properly. I've been dozens of times in the last few years and I've never had a negative interaction with anyone who works there. I always leave there thinking everyone must really enjoy their jobs because they are all super friendly and always smiling. I've never been rushed even though the office always seems busy. and Ive never seen any of them hanging around, doing nothing and I've never heard any of them complain about anything. I get the impression that the entire office is run efficiently. I really like the doctor because she actually listened to what I had to say and then she referred me to a specialist who also listened to me. I am so glad I changed insurance when I did because I dreaded every appointment I had when I was going to southwest medical. There are places closer to where I live but I don't dare chance that I'll find another place as good as this one. read more

I called the front office 5 times in a week to try to get an appointment, & when someone answered and I explained why I was calling and that I called multiple times, they kept cutting me off and finally asked "would u like to set up ur appointment" then when I asked to speak to someone else hung up on me. I went In as a walk in with a emergency toothache and he was able to fit me I'n and i was put on antibiotics and scheduled an appointment .First Person dental was nice & clean and very professional and accomomendated my pain relief and I was so thankful. They really stepped up to the plate . Parking is right out front and staff was very friendly wait time was not to long and if you are low income they have a program you can schedule appointment to see if you qualify then service is discounted . This is my first experience with doctors in the mainland, so in my humble opinion I think I'm being very gracious with this review. Location: SKETCH! I get it, it's not the best part of town to be in, but with an office being open till the evening hours I feel the parking lot should at least be well lit. Unless you're paying attention and really looking for this place you will definitely miss it. Parking: LOTS! Although you can't even see the lines there is lots of space. Getting in the parking lot is easy, but when you leave be VERY MINDFUL ( especially with a lower vehicle) you WILL scrape your car when exiting the parking lot. Office: FREEZING! As soon as you walk in you're hit with ice cold air! So dress warm, bring a jacket or 2 cause the temperature in there is no joke! The receptionist or LPN area is behind a plastic window and you definitely won't be acknowledged upon walking in; until you walk right up to them. My husbands first time there was at 11:30 and they informed us to go 30 min early to fill out paper work- ok no brainer- get there at 11 finish filling out paper work well before 11:30 and don't get seen till almost 1?! That's a bit ridiculous in my opinion AND nobody batted an eye or asked if we wanted to reschedule. Add that on top of nobody ever answers the phone OR returns your after hours voicemail and you got your patients already feeling uncared for. They have a sticker that says "people love us on yelp" well we have a few more appointments coming up so let's see if they can sway my opinion. read more

I wasn't feeling well and came upon this place on Yelp. I saw it had good reviews but that is no guarantee. I went in and although they prepared me for a long wait, it was not long at all. I saw Jean first, who was very thorough and very sweet. She took all of my information and saw me to a room. I then saw the doctor who was very knowledgeable and prescribed me the meds that took care of my problem. Love this place. I hope I don't get sick again, but if I do- I'll be back! read more

They never answer the phone. Occasionally too busy for you to do a walk in. They try and rush you off the phone when you do get a hold of them. For some reason you can't be seen by another dr if yours is not in. I chose this one because I thought it was a family clinic but it's not. What can I say! I'm so glad that I am a patient here. The staff has been awesome each time I have been in. I came here under a tremendous amount of stress because of a medical issue my wife was having and they recognized that I needed help as well and made me be seen along with her. What a blessing that was. My blood pressure was 220/170 and I was on the verge of a heart attack. Today, Minnie was my provider and I loved her. She listened to me and responded to my questions and offered her advice. I really felt great after seeing her and was confident that I was in good hands. I have been coming into this clinic for 6 months now and with their guidance I have been able to lose 125 pounds and lower my blood pressure and cholesterol numbers dramatically as well. I haven't been in Vegas in very long and was scared to make an appointment at a doctors office but I am really glad I did with them. Not only was the staff super kind, I also felt very comfortable there. They are doing construction outside but if your looking for a doctors office that scared I highly recommend them. The waiting room is very cold tho so I do recommend bringing a jacket while you wait. Other then that it's a great place to go. read more

Oh man... Well, to be honest I have had mixed service here.. It is a low cost clinic and if you do not have insurance this place is not all that bad.. I found out I have high blood pressure, and I am now on medication to control that, so I guess that is a good thing. The blood work here is far cheaper than other clinics so I am glad for that.. I am not too pleased with the lack of communication between this clinic and my pharmacist, but I guess I need to do every ones job for them, so I get to make the reminder calls.. Kinda annoying..You don't need an appointment, and to be honest the one time I did have an appointment I waited longer then the times I have just showed up.. So go figure.. read more

I would not recommend them. I have been waiting four weeks for them to send my medical records to another doctor. They still have not sent them. The insurance company has tried getting them to send them. I have called and they just can't get the job done. the worst doctors visit I've ever had. I went to find out the results of my first pregnancy and the doctor acted like I was such an inconvenience to her. I spent more time waiting for her than the actual check up. i was highly upset with how she acted. Then to end the visit when I was waiting for them to draw my blood the nurse asked the doctor if she wanted her to set up a follow up appointment for me to go over the results and she said no. Highly unprofessional and rude. After the fact two weeks later I had a call scheduled for them to call me and go over the results at 10:30, assuming so I proceeded to call them at 10:30 for them to transfer me and schedule another call back. Yet again they didn't call. so I called back 4 times waited on hold for 30 min each time trying to get through to somebody to go over my results. it wasn't until 2:40 that someone I got through to had my results but before giving them to me said I would have to pay $100 for results I've been waiting for since 10:30. After already I paid $100 for the disrespectful doctors visit. I'll never be going here again. Very unprofessional. Very unhappy with the whole organization overall. read more

I've had several negative experiences here that solely have to do with the front desk/receptionists. the first time I came in for a psychiatrist appointment, I walked in and asked if I was in the correct place. The woman at the desk gave me a suite number and sent me on my way. She neglected to tell me I was in the correct suite. So I spent 10 minutes looking for an unmarked office that I had already been in. I checked in for my appointment to find out they scheduled me with the PCP without telling me. They tried to make me change with my insurance company to them as my PCP when i explicitly told them i wanted to see a psychiatrist. while trying to figure out what was going on because no one was being clear, I "missed" my appointment. I was standing in the office the entire time. My second negative experience was this morning when I received a call to cancel my appointment for today. I've had this appointment scheduled for 3 weeks. They then rescheduled me for an additional 3 weeks out. 6 WEEKS for an appointment. I spoke with multiple people in the office trying to get a sooner appointment but was told I could either take the appointment 3 weeks out or they could just flat out cancel my appointment and not see the psychiatrist at all. I am beyond shocked with how I've been treated here especially for a facility that provides mental health services. read more

NOTE: My review is specifically for their downtown Las Vegas location: 1200 4th St. IF I could give this place negative 10 stars I would. I go to this clinic for covid testing. I was placed on a 14 day quarantine leave by my job because someone with a confirmed case of it listed me and a few other workers as people they had been in close contact with. NOTE: I do not have a vehicle, and I had already wasted $71.00 dollars on Uber rides getting to and from test sites that list on their websites they do walk-ins or appointments. Obviously finding a test site reasonably close to where I live mattered. I'd get to these test sites and either be told 'we do not do testing here' or 'we DO do testing here, but you will have to make an appointment'. All information on these test sites websites were inaccurate, misleading me to waste unnecessary money & time. I reach back out to my employer and explain what's going on to see if they can help facilitate me getting tested. All the information they had previously given me were to test sites that only allowed drive-thru, and as I mentioned before: 'I do not have a car'. After spending more than a hour and a half on the phone with a representative from my job, calling around to find a place for me to test, we were finally connected to First Person Care Clinic located at 1200 4th St suite 109 -111, Las Vegas, Nevada. My job conferenced in a 3-way call explaining the details of my experience trying to get tested and asked if they do appointments or walk-in testing there? The woman who took the call, said: "we certainly do". My employer then specifically asked: "can the individual be tested if they do not have a car and need to physically come inside your location." The woman said: "Yes they can". My employer then informed the woman that I was on the call also, and the woman began getting my information and scheduled a test time for me. I arrived to their site on 02/01/2021 at 10:00am. It was freezing cold outside and looked like it was about to rain. As I approached the door, there was a sign on the door that stated: "if you have an appointment to be Covid tested, please wait outside. Do not come in, service will be denied. Please call the phone number below or ring the door bell to your right and someone will assist you shortly." So I did both. Approximately 5 minutes later, a woman comes outside to confirm I am who I am for that scheduled time slot. She then brings a clipboard to me with TONS of paperwork to be filled out (and i do me TONS). There is no seating for people outside nor a tent to provide some type of shelter for individuals coming to their facility specifically to be tested for Covid. It was utterly ridiculous what they put me through and how they treated me - even AFTER I answered all their "pre-screening" questions and told them I am not sick and I do NOT have any symptoms. I felt like I was going to mess around and catch covid just standing out in their parking lot in the freezing cold for as long as I did. Not to mention, the wind was blowing the paperwork all over the place, making it impossible to quickly get all their forms filled out in a timely fashion. They treated me like I was some sort of contaminated animal. There is NO etiquette in place, what-so-ever, for people who come to them for covid testing. Then, to make matters worst, more people started arriving. Not sure what they were there for, but a few moments later, a woman comes outside and ask me if I can go wait for them to further assist me down at the other end of their parking lot because their other patients were complaining and getting nervous that I was there for covid tested. In disbelief, I patiently waited for my results (which were negative by the way) and told them I will be reporting this to the Local News. There's more to this saga but not enough character space to leave it all. Way to go First Person "Care" Clinic. Way to go. read more

I think First Person Care Clinic is pretty awesome. I am currently doing my extern hours here and I really like it so far. I think it is great how they help not only people with insurance, but also those who don't have insurance. Their costs are on the low end and anyone can get care for an affordable price. They accept appointments as well as walk ins which is very convenient, but can sometimes cause a bit of a wait for our patients. The absolute WORST level of care I've EVER had in my entire life. The office staff is rude, they are unorganized, charts are screwed up, and they overbill. If you call, expect to be hung up on if you have any questions, IF you can even get them to answer the phone. How can you give a nonprofit organization anything but a 5 star rating. They obviously care enough to dedicate their time to you. The people are kind and friendly. They offer transportation, if you are too ill to drive, and their goal is to make you feel better. If you get treated, and you feel better. Mission complete. This isn't a fancy place, but do not let that discourage you. I would recommend this clinic for services, as you aren't just a body laying in a bed adding to the body count. You get treatment fast. I feel better, and that's what counts in the end. They monitored me throughout treatment professionally. I am not aware of all of the services they provide, but in my case, intravenous treatment, for chronic and severe very painful syndrome. I would recommend this clinic. Clinic - Personal Experience as a patient. Someone is there monitoring you the whole time. If something happens, it's addressed immediately. It is not an hour or so before you see them again. It's best to have 1/1 treatment. You will get treatment, and a caring staff at this clinic. Focus is on you as a patient and their focus is on each patient. And you will be monitored ,kept informed, the medical staff is "available" when you have a concern, and they act upon it. Hospital - Personal Experience. Most recent, foreign object went through my heal bone, traveled the length of my foot and was embedded between my toes. I went to 3 ERs, including a trauma center, left each in the same condition, not treated but I was billed. I almost lost my foot. I recently received similar, to IV treatment received at the clinic. Due to lack of attention, frequent monitoring, as the "hit the button or bell if you need something" practice. You hit the button several times, wait, wait, wait... eventually someone comes to see what you need, then they leave again, and you wait, wait, wait until they return. I have had IV treatments that have caused my fingers to grow to the size of hot dogs, my forearms the size of popeyes, and biceps the size of Mr. Universe. My Mom has volunteered at hospitals, even though she is elderly, and should be enjoying life. She enjoys helping people. She would never leave me at a hospital unattended. I have spent many many hours in hospitals. Under staffing is one thing, but when 8 nurses are talking about shopping at the nurses station, while an 80 year old woman needs a bedpan for more than an hour,- I'm not a "volunteer" myself , but have searched and gotten patients a bedpan when I've seen the nurse light on, and the nurse station full of people not working.. I've stayed up all night in hospitals listening to people actually yelling for a nurse, repeatedly. I am very critical of medical services. For the treatment I am currently receiving, for others I would recommend this clinical setting over hospitalization.. read more

I am not a complainer at all but this place is horrible in my opinion. The wait is very long. My first time there was to see a psychiatrist. I waited for hours because of their mix up. I had to be rescheduled for a later time. When I finally got to see the "doctor " she acted like she was irritated. It was lunchtime and they squeezed me in even though I had an appointment. She acted inconvenienced like she was ready to go to lunch. She never introduced herself, shook my hand, or even smiled. Not once! She was so unprofessional that I thought she was taking me to see the doctor. I was shocked when she sat behind the desk. I went back to see a "therapist ". She was not educated on my disorder at all. She asked me nothing. I just sat there and talked to fill the awkward silence. I kept waiting for it to end. I finally excused myself. I have been treated multiple times at FPCC. The staff and Doctors are amazing. All Doctors at the clinic take time to actually know their patients. It's always super busy. There is a reason for that... they give great care and are like family so people continue to come back. I think people that are happy generally don't take the time to write reviews.
