Replace the screen and rollers on one sliding glass door. Not the glass, the screen, and 2 wheels. $125. I delivered it, twice. Cause they only put in 2 wheels not 4 as it had, so upon returning to install it, it didnt fit. I returned it and brought 2 wheels. 5 minutes later it was done. Fast, friendly service. The glass on my sliding patio door was broken in on a Friday night leaving an unsecure opening into my home. I got Sam from First Place Glass on the phone at 7am on Saturday, and a little over an hour later they were at my home putting up plywood to cover the hole and measuring for the new glass. When it was time to install the new glass, once again they were there early in the morning to get the job done. Both times allowing me to get to work on time and saving me from having to take a day off. They worked fast and cleaned up the broken glass inside and outside of my home. I have a decorative window on my garage door, which had a small crack and needed to be fixed. I built my restroom from the ground up so i like to think i can recognize great workmanship when i see it. i called first place glass over to my house to give me a quote to see how much it would cost to install glass shower doors. Before he came over i did my research and i had a list of questions. he answered all of my questions Noa was very polite and informative. He was telling me his company is involved in the Hero program and they install anything related to glass. (A previous contractor that i got a bid from looked agitated by my questions) After accepting his bid Noa and Sam came over and measured every little corner and checked if the walls were level and took down their notes. The whole process took about a week and a half. I am extremely impressed of their work. They took their time installing and checking for level. ( I hate contractors who seem to be in a rush and try and cut corners) i strongly recommend them. My shower has nice straight parallel lines . first place glass did an awesome job. The communication between the guys doing the work and the office is not great. Either the workers would give a time frame or the office would give a time frame, no one would show up. Eventually the job got done after a few calls and emailing. I understand its a 24 hour service and jobs come up before an appointment but at least have curtesy to let the customer know an update/status and not wasting the customers time. read more

First let me say! I only gave the one star because I had to give a rating to leave a review. I want to share that I used this company a couple of times before, The customer service provided then, was exceptional. I did have Some trouble getting the contractors to come out. But Liz personality made up for it! And I finally got some windows put in. This was about 9 months ago. And I promised the young lady who was working there that I would return. Unfortunately when I called a couple times and asked for Liz they said she was out of the office. So finally after several attempts. A gentle men by the name Sam said he could help, it was the worst decision! His customer service was not only down hill but his only interest was money. I would never use this company again. They now have poor customer service and lost a loyal customer. And their price is not a clear quote. I rate them a zero. read more

My wife and I had a great experience with First Place Glass. We requested a quote for Anlin replacement of 36 windows for our duplex. Sam arrived on time for the initial visit and provided great customer service. Sam's quotation was very competitive among the five window replacement quotations that my wife and I had sought, so we decided to go with First Place Glass. We wanted to fund this project through the Hero Program and Liz from First Place's office was seamless in helping us through this process. The installation was divided over three separate days as not all of the windows came in at the same time from Anlin. Riggo and Martin were the installers for the first two installation days and they were both nice and appeared to be very efficient at their trade. At the end of the 2nd day, I realized a miscommunication occurred regarding the type desired for four of the windows that were already replaced. I contacted Sam and he was stellar on remedying the issue to my satisfaction. In addition, Sam and his brother, Noah, decided to be the installers for the final day to make sure the project was completed to everyone's satisfaction. Just like Riggo and Martin, Sam and Noah were both nice and appeared very efficient in the window trade. My wife and I did experience some slight inconvenience with construction debris here and there at the end of each of the days. I would suggest everyone be more proactive with the shop vac at the end of the day and avoid using the customer's garbage cans to excess. Notwithstanding the aforementioned issue, my wife and I were so satisfied with the overall experience with this First Place Glass team that we had to give them five stars. Thank you! read more

Highly suggest avoiding use of this company if at all possible. About a month ago my mom had them come out to board up a window and the company stated they would contact her with the estimate for the glass replacement. The company did in fact contact her with a quote of around 2300.00. My mom informed them she would have to get in contact with her renters insurance. Despite my mom asking them to hold off they went ahead and replaced the glass contacted her roughly a week later saying it was ready to be installed. However, anything over the amount of $500 needs to be in a written contract. Verbal does not suffice. My mom told them she wasn't able to pay out of pocket for the repairs. The woman who was speaking with my mom contact a woman named celest at the home office who said that it was their error and to allow the installation to continue and they would eat the cost. Stating that she would just be responsible for the $500 boarding fee. Today (about a month since this began) celest contacted my mom saying she needed to pay the remaining balance. Informing my mom that she had contacted her landlord and a lien was being put on the property where the window was replaced. This was not true. I myself work for a civil litigation law firm. Luckily I am knowledgeable of the steps necessary to file a lien. I spoke with celest and every question I ask she responded well I don't know. I asked if they had a legal department she informed me they did and when I asked for the phone number she replied she did not know it. That was a huge red flag. I told her I would be consulting with another attorney and would be giving them a call back. About an hour later she called my mom and said that they were simply going to accept the $500 as payment in full. I asked celest to send my mom the final invoice as well as the release of lien. The invoice was sent and what do you know, no release of lien because she was able to "pull" the paper work. What they did was fraud and illegal. Don't let them pull this scam on you. Know your rights. Don't let them frighten you with empty threats. Ask for copies of everything.! read more

I called to get a quote on some glass to lay over my coffee and end tables. I spoke with someone who seemed annoyed by my call, and then asked me to text the dimensions to a cell phone. The call was abruptly terminated. I called back, and no one answered. I waited and called back 10 minutes later to get the cell number. I sent the text with the dimensions Friday. It's now Tuesday and I haven't received any response whatsoever. I don't know how these guys get mostly good ratings. I called them up because I had a broken window, and was trying to decide if I should replace the glass or get retro-fit windows. Samuel was very attentive while I had him on the phone, and very available by text. We set up an appointment for three days later. Sam showed up on time, and had Noah with him. They came into my house bringing samples, brochures, and real salesmen personalities. They were just so excited to tell me about the Hero program and they couldn't believe how low my monthly payment was going to be. Well I told them I wasn't interested in the Hero program, but I let them go through their sales pitch anyway. They went through my house, took measurements, and gave me a total for all windows and sliders to be replaced. When I asked what each window would cost, trying to see how many windows I could afford to replace if I pay out of pocket, they were at a loss. Supposedly Hero comes up with a number, and they had no way of itemizing it for me. The only way I could get pricing on individual windows is by waiting a few business days for the office to email me. They instructed me to text them my email and they would get those numbers to me. Well as soon as they understood that I really wasn't going to go with the Hero program, their tone toward me changed and I could tell they were no longer interested in me as a customer. I texted my email to them as soon as they left. I could see that my message was delivered. They did not respond. I've gotten no email. Here I am, still, with a broken window. I'm guessing these positive reviews came from Hero customers. They obviously get some sort of commission from using the Hero Program, since they are willing to let cash-paying customers go so easily. read more
